WASHINGTON, Aug. 11 (UPI) — President Obama will discuss the role innovative technologies will play in helping automakers achieve fuel efficiency standards Thursday, the White House said.
The daily schedule indicates Obama will:
– Travel to Holland, Mich., where he will tour the Johnson Controls Inc. advanced battery facility and speak about innovative technology’s role in the economic and job growth in the United States.
– Travel to New York, where he will speak at two Democratic National Committee events.
