Poll: Tea Party Not Economic 'terrorists'

ASBURY PARK, N.J., Aug. 8 (UPI) — Most likely U.S. voters say they disagree with recent remarks by prominent Democrats characterizing the Tea Party as economic terrorists, a poll indicates.

Fifty-five percent say members of the Tea Party are not economic terrorists, a Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found.

Just 29 percent believe Tea Party members have been terrorists during the budget debates while 16 are undecided, a Rasmussen release said Monday.

While 53 percent of Democrats in the poll said they view Tea Party members as terrorists, 74 percent of Republicans disagreed.

However, 43 percent of all voters said they think the Tea Party has made things worse for the country in the budget debates in Congress.

The survey of 1,000 likely voters was conducted on Aug. 5-6, 2011 by Rasmussen Reports, which put the margin of sampling error at 3 percentage points.

    Once again, people need to remember that polls tend to reflect emotions more than facts. If this “respectable” poll was done right, they must have encountered quite a bunch of knee-jerk progressives to get no more than 55% of its respondents to say the Tea Party is not a group of terrorists.
    Kindly note that herew we have a new term. Since when do we have ‘economic’ terrorists? People, you’re dealing with Obummer and a unique horde of wackos. Even Obummer himself CAN’T deny that he has more than one known TERRORIST in his freedom-hating administration. A terrorist is a terrorist. If it was up to Obummer, we’d have twenty categories of terrorists, and the one group that’s worse than the rest would change daily.
    If America has an infestation of “economic terrorists,” it’s due to the efforts of the Democrats. It went into high gear with THIS administration.
    OK, psychotic progressives, line up and show us how you can deny everything. We know better. Give it a try – LOSERS.

      Obama and Kerry and many of the radical leftist Socialist groups are the ones who are the terrorists.
      They are holding America captive with their political agendas that are very detrimental to the United States.
