Chicago Child Killed In Shooting At Home
CHICAGO, Aug. 7 (UPI) — A 6-year-old girl was killed Sunday when someone opened fire on a home on Chicago’s South Side, police said.
Two teenagers were wounded in the shooting, which occurred around dawn when a suspect walked up to the porch and fired into the home.
“They were all in the living room at the time,” Officer John Mirabelli said. “Shots were fired from the outside and they went through the living room window and struck three people.”
The two wounded victims were in good condition at area hospitals, Mirabelli told the Chicago Sun-Times Media Wire.
No suspects were in custody Sunday and the investigation was continuing, the Chicago Tribune said.
