Two Killed In Refugee Camp Shooting
BEIRUT, Lebanon, Aug. 3 (UPI) — A Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon was the scene of a shooting incident that left two camp residents dead, security sources said.
They told The Daily Star of Beirut that Khaled Zeid opened fire at fellow Shatila camp resident Ali Sheikho, 27, killing Sheikho and an unidentified Sudanese man.
Zeid fled to an unknown destination following the incident, authorities said.
There was no word on the cause of the shooting.
