Judgment Day For Obama?

June 14, 2011 by

Judgment Day For Obama?

A recent CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll shows 48 percent of Americans believe the U.S. economy is headed for another depression within a year. This is great news, because it means nearly half of all Americans are starting to awaken from their slumber and realize President Barack Obama and his media allies have been lying about the existence of a nonexistent recovery.

I say “starting,” because I have no way of knowing how many of these people truly understand the underlying causes of the depression they believe is on the way. (I hasten to add that, in truth, we have long been in an invisible depression — a depression shielded from the public by easy credit and excessive money creation. But that’s a story for another day.)

There’s another piece of good news to go with CNN’s 48 percent figure. In a recent Allstate/National Journal poll, 47 percent of Americans said they “would definitely or probably” not vote for Obama. The 48 and 47 percent figures sound like a winning combination — or, put another way, a losing combination for Obama.

The bad news is Mitt Romney is the early front-runner for the Republican nomination, with the Tea Party candidates stuck at the back of the pack. Nevertheless, if Romney does end up winning the nomination, I believe he will make Obama look and sound like a fumbling, stumbling high school kid in head-to-head debates.

So what’s the problem? If Romney becomes President, probably the best we can hope for is that he will be another George W. Bush. Yes, I’m talking about the same George W. Bush who, just as Herbert Hoover did for Franklin Delano Roosevelt, gave Obama the Presidency with his big-spending policies. And the worst that might happen to the United States, courtesy of the guy who created the model for Obamacare, is too bad to even contemplate.

Another piece of bad news offsets the 48 and 47 percent anti-Obama figures. The CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll also shows 75 percent of Americans approve of Obama “personally.” Huh? What planet do these folks live on? They obviously know little or nothing about Obama’s upbringing, his past and current associations, his debt and spending policies, and his endless, ongoing lies that everyone can easily witness on television and the Internet on a daily basis.

Obama will obfuscate, lie and spin the truth thousands of times over the next 17 months. He will unmercifully smear whoever his opponent may be. That’s the problem. It isn’t hard to imagine Obama swinging enough voters over to his side to dramatically reduce the 47 percent figure (people who say they won’t vote for him) and, in the process, win re-election.

Once he is out of campaign mode, you can be sure Obama will go right back to putting the redistribution-of-wealth throttle on full thrust in an attempt to finish the job he was taught to do by his radical mother, his proud-to-be-a-communist father (his mother’s words), his ideological mentor Frank Marshall Davis, his spiritual mentor Reverend Jeremiah Wright, community-organizing guru Saul Alinsky, American-hating terrorist Bill Ayers, Frances Fox Piven (of “overwhelming the system” fame), etc. The list is endless, ugly, Marxist and lethal.

Clearly, the Republicans need a Presidential nominee who is willing to be bold and aggressive in exposing the truth about Obama, his background, his allies, his ideology, his policies and his vision of America as a model collectivist state. What will not work is the make-nice stuff like Jon Huntsman’s self-righteous statement, “I believe we ought to have a civil discourse in this country.” The Republican Party needs to nominate a Tea Party type.

Unfortunately, another poll — this one by Rasmussen Reports — makes it clear the Tea Party folks are going to have a huge hill to climb to get one of their own nominated. The poll found only “16 percent of all voters now consider themselves members of the Tea Party movement, down from 21 percent at the end of last year.” That is not good news.

So the big problem Republicans now face is how to find and nominate a candidate who believes, deep down in his or her heart, in Ayn Rand’s tenet: “Judge and prepare to be judged.”

The Master of Misdirection has had nearly 2½ years to show us what he meant by “fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” Now it’s time for him to be judged — candidly and harshly — for bringing America to its moral and financial knees. It’s time for his free pass to come to an end.

But if Romney is the guy who ends it, don’t get your hopes up that we will see smaller government, lower taxes, less regulation and more freedom. I could be wrong, but … in any event, stay tuned. Things are likely to change every week. Let’s just hope the changes are for the better. We have already found out the hard way that change can also result in our worst nightmare.

(On that note, please keep in mind that this article was submitted Monday morning, prior to the CNN Republican Presidential debate Monday evening.)

Not being an American I watch the process with interest and here is my take.

The American voters are more interested in Dancing with the Stars then the economy unless they are unemployed.

The American people are tired of attacks from either side and need somebody who is smooth. Is there a Republican who is smooth like Slick Willy ( a bit greasy) with a smile.

The voters cannot handle the truth and really do not want to hear the truth, so make is sugar coated with lots of graphs and numbers from Congressional budget office. There is enough ammo there to sink a battleship. Such 46 million fellow Americans on food stamps (CBO).They don’t want spin and opinions.

The American people want center slightly right of center candidates but not somebody who is too moralistic.

The system is almost too far gone that regardless of whom you put in they will not be able to do much.

I would suggest you study Turkey and how they pulled themselves up and went from sub zero to the second most dynamic economy in the world after China.

Whomever your candidate is they had better stick with the economy if they have any hope of beating the current bunch.

The American people are tired of war and want their boys home.

I really do not see any of the current bunch in the debate who fill the bill and the more the voters see of them the higher Obi’s ratings will be and the more likely for a second term.

Recognizing that all politicians are liars and cheats, get somebody (like the Democrats did) who can be manipulated to be a middle of the road conservative with no baggage.

I know I have no right to comment on your politics but keep in mind that as the elephant in the room anything you do impacts the rest of us big time.

    • Master Gunny

It worries me that an outsider seems to have a clearer picture of the state of the American body politic than do most Americans. Paternalistic government has robbed us of the most precious traits that make a republic possible; the idea that everyone is responsible for their our actions and that no government can be trusted to take care of us.

Or to quote someone whom you might have heard of before:

“We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” –John Adams, Address to the Military , 1798

      • Tsunami

Master Gunny Your Constitution was a great document written by moral and religious people (largely) with one major assumption flaw and that they assumed that their people were all moral and religiously moderate or that there were enough of them to contol the country. It was written for a time and place that no longer exists.

Your country like mine is run and controlled by immoral and non religious people who have managed to do mind control on the voters and courts to such an extent that should a would-be politician be moral or religious they are viewed as extremist and have little to no hope of getting elected.

Your people have little to no knowledge of the Constitution nor its history and only know what they are told by your manipulative media.

Your media will control this election as they have all others for many decades.

Anybody who plans to fight Obi and your media had better stick to supportable economic facts as their main theme and keep hammering on that. Plenty of ammo there.

      • Wayne937

Tsunami, I don’t know what country your from either, but I sure like the way you think. I wished we had more Americans that thought the way you do. The trouble with the people over in the US are they are lazy, and spoiled rotten. I think they have had life too easy, have watched too many soap operas. In other words they are even to lazy to check out the people they are voting for. They have voted in too many people like Anthony Weiner. In case you don’t know Anthony Weiner, he is the one who has shared his naked picture with women over the internet and he is refusing to resign his seat.

    • Wayne937

Tsumami, I really agree with you on this. Everything you said is correct. However, I feel I am a different breed that those who voted for Obama. I could see from the beginning that I could never vote for a Muslim Communsit. I knew this before the election because I watched Obama carefully. I done my home work. Two times I heard him, by a slip of the tongue, say that he was a Muslim. When he told Plummer Joe that we needed to spread the wealth around that really upset me. This indicated to me he was a Communist. Let me ask you a hypothetical question. If you are a good student in class, you have worked hard for you grades, you are an A student, would be be willing to share it with another student in class if that student got an F by clowning around, and not working on his grades. What would you tell a teacher if they asked you if you would drop your grade to a B & give it to the student with the F to bring him up to a D. I know what I would say, hell no, I won’t share my hard work when this student was clowning around and not studying. This is the same thing Obama wants hard working Americans to do, share the wealth. No way. I believe in everyone doing their fair share.

      • Tsunami

Wayne Absolutely no argument with anything you said but when I have and enemy I want to study him and see what and how to take him out.

The last thing I want to do is interfere with an enemy who is self destructing. I want to gently direct him to the highest cliff.

I have seen it before where too much vocal oposition in the wrong fashion and letting emotion control the discussion will only create allies for the enemy.

The unemployment figures and most other figures from your CBO are what you need to bring him down. Let his own actions decide the day and keep emotion out of it.

Dam I sure do prattle on.

      • Wayne937

I agree, Tsumami. I think he will be a one term president. I hope the folks won’t be stupid enough to vote for him again. Thank you for your imput. It is good to hear from some one outside of the country that can clearly see what is happening, but the folks over here seem to be brain dead.

You needn’t tell us you are not an American,Tsunami.

      • Tsunami

Steve Where in AZ.? I spend a lot of time In Sun City West and do my best to contribute to your economy.

        Wonderful people and place.

        Canadian?

    • Patty

Tsunami – you have a pretty good picture going. The public school system has dummied down the populice. Systematically, and on purpose. Where are you from?

      • Tsunami

Please don’t yell at me but I am from the West Coast of Canada a place called Surrey. I don’t have any education to speak of but try my best to think. Hurts like hell at times.

Yes we have so many socialist issues here that I could spend hours on but the topic here is the US and Obi.

Sorry for intruding in your internal affairs.

      • Dan az

        Tsunami
Just a quick question,How do you and others feel about the lifting of borders? Are you going to resist and join us to fight for your country and ours from the NWO gang?I know it was two question’s but it was on the same subject.

      • Tsunami

To be frank I am not in favour of that as you have a chance to redirect your economy and system, and while our economy is in good shape our socialist laws would have you spinning.

You don’t need any more problems.

      • DaveH

According to Heritage Foundation, Canada is now more economically free than the United States.

      • Al Sieber

Tsunami, what I like about your country is the mining laws, that’s my profession, and where I live in Ariz. the laws are miner friendly.

      • Patty

NO PROBLEM! I like your input. Living in MN I have many friends from Canada. They came here for opportunity, now they are not sure why they came here.
Especially with the rumor of a North America Treaty. How do you feel about that?

      • Tsunami

Patty We have lots of oportunities here but you have to be a little smarter than the average.

There is an old joke that rings true. A Canadian and an American are both killed in a car accident. St. Peter says to them neither of your are supposed to be here and if you pay $5000 you can go back.

Poof the American is back and the folks ask about the Canadian?
The American says well he might be back, but is trying to get the bill sent to Ottawa for payment.

That about sums it up. Here is is Gov. Gov. Gov. and you still have a chance to back yours off perhaps with another Ronny R.

      • Wayne937

Tsunami, feel free any time to jump in and express your opinion. I know that I enjoy hearing from folks outside the country. I am sure I am speaking for the majority of the Conservatives on this forum. I am not speaking for the Liberals, though. I have several Canadian Friends where we winter in Dunedin, Florida. The area you live in is beautiful. We have been to Glacier NP, Yellowstone NP, Tetons, and a few other places out West, and we love the mountains. My wife and I talked about coming up in the direction you live, but with Obama’s high gasoline prices we have put that on hold.

      • Tsunami

Until you have socialism you have no idea about high prices.

We produce 22% of the oil that you use in the States and are the biggest supplier of oil to the USA.

They produce millions of barrels of oil one Province east of me, do some of the refining 30 miles from me, truck the gas into the States right past our door practically and I have to go across the border to buy our own gas for a cheaper price. Taxes taxes taxes are eating us alive but still our economy is thriving and we have never had a bank failure in history. Had one trust company go under 25 years ago in Alberta but that is it.

I love the States and most of the people I meet there and spend 4 months a year in Sun City West Arizona and just love it there.

My Democrat friends are very very quiet these days, which is nice.

My tongue has scars from biting it when they are around for fear of offending. I am a guest in your country and have to watch myself.

      • Patty

Biting our tongue, playing nice, not wanting to offend, is largely why we are in this mess. Personally, I have vowed to be as loud as I can. I will no longer be the silent majority. So be truthful, factual, accurate and VERY LOUD.

      • DaveH

I’m from Arizona, and the Liberals yell at me all the time. Ignore them. If you aren’t getting yelled at, you aren’t thinking hard enough. LOL.

      • Dan az

  • Charles

How can this White House keep giving away billions we don’t have, to people who hate us, and think somehow it will help the economy?

    • Tsunami

Charles I understand your frustration but the problem is not that you are giving away billions but rather that you are printing trillions of worthless dollars and thereby creating unbelievable debt that is bought by the rest of the world. Your country is ( I hate to say it) a welfare case.

Your Government and Fed are out of control and it is plain that you are going to have to feel some extreme pain as a country before you will be able to get things back on track.

Winston Churchill said ” You can count on the Americans to do what is right after they have exhausted all other options”. You have not exhausted all other options and continue to believe that you are still number one in the world by a wide margin. Militarily yes, but no other catagory

      • Wayne937

Tsunami, I disagree with you on the fact that we are not giving away million of our taxpayers dollars. What do you call it when Obama gave Brazil 2.5 million to drill over in their country and not in our own country? Obama said we would become their best customer. What an idiot. Obama gave Mexico 1.5 billion to drill in the Southern Part of the Gulf of Mexico at the same time he stopped all drilling in the country on land and sea. Hillary Clinton has pledged billions to Egypt while this country is borrowing billions of dollars from China. Yes! Tsunami, we are giving away our tax dollars that the folks has worked so hard for leaving our citizens do without. What an idiot we have for a president.

      • eddie47d

That was a loan to Brazil not a give away. They find oil and we get paid back. Isn’t that what businesses do? Egypt has been given $3 billion each year for decades right along with Israels $4 billion so to drop that in Obama’s lap makes you a tad suspect. Are the Republicans trying to fib their way into the Presidency?

      • Patty

That is because of the peace treaty and a reward to play in the sandbox nice together.

      • Bob

Businesses get their money from investors – they do not steal it from taxpayers. And why would maobama “invest” in Brazil when there are plenty of businesses here that need money? As usual, you are being disengenous. And you have a lot of nerve, as a lying lieberal liar, to accuse the Republicans of lying their way into the presidency.

      • Patty

Bob, I have to disagree with you on where business’ get their investment money of late. “Green” jobs are a direct result of Obama subsidies. They will fail, just like Obama, but that is where they are getting start up capital. http://www.hinckleyforsenate.com/green-jobs-paradox borrowed from our grand children. And DON’T get me started on GE. :)

      • Wayne937

Yea, dream on. Do you really think we will ever get that money back, eddie? If you do your dreaming. We loaned Russia money over the years as well as other countries, they never repaid so why do you think Brazil will ever pay? Why didn’t Obama give our oil companies permits to drill over here. Something certainly smells.

      • eddie47d

The Import/Export Bank approved the Brazil loan not Obama. I’m sure he knew about it but was out of the loop in authorizing it.

      • Patty

And exactly how many “loans” have been paid back? Oh look, Brazil is listed…1970′s History repeats itself once again. How stupid are we? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latin_American_debt_crisis

      • Patty

Eddie- The US Fed. Gov’t. runs it. And they are suppose to run it for the BENEFIT of the US. All of that oil should it come to pass has been promised to CHINA. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Export-Import_Bank_of_the_United_States
        http://patriotupdate.com/6250/la-senator-investigates-oil-money-sent-to-brazil

      • DaveH

        Tsunami,
I think you know this, but it is BOTH the giveaways and the excess dollar creation that are the problem. Add to those the wasteful Government spending.
Our Government spent 23% of the GDP in 1950. And we got along just fine. Now they spend 40% of the GDP and look at the mess we’re in.

      • Tsunami

Agreed. It is a combination but one of my points is that we are now talking trillions and another figure that was used a week or two ago was quadrillion. I don’t think that people can even comprehend how many zero’s are on a trillion let alone a quadrillion.

Yes a few billion is not good but when you owe 4 trillion to China alone that is sickening.

Congress was playing with 54 billion when the real problem is trillions. Like saying The Mississippi is flooding and we are going to use a shovel and plug a dam.

Have to get their heads around the real numbers

      • DaveH

According to this website, China owns $1.1 Trillion of the US Treasury Debt:
        http://austinwatcher.wordpress.com/2011/04/06/the-china-lie-i-most-of-the-us-debt-is-owned-by-china/
But the debt held by foreign countries in general is $4.45 Trillion.

  • http://n/a John Beach

If the office of president represents anything, it represents equal opportunity for its occupants to achieve something with all the power to which they have access. Having overcome the policy of blatant discrimination regarding race, race can not be used as an excuse for the failure of policies which have led to and are keeping us in the current situation. Discrimination is fundamentally based in law, without which we have no order. We need to discriminate based on ability. They either can or they can not. They either will or they will not. Whatever the motivation and whatever the cause, the opportunity to prove himself capable of the challenges that are presented by the problems of the country, he needs to either do it or face the consequences of election which will determine the future of the country which is more important than the future of one languishing politician.

  • DaveH

Should it surprise anybody that the party, whose roots were in Mercantilism, would put up Leaders who don’t care about the citizens as long as they have their Power and Perks? The Republican Leaders aren’t any different than the Democrat Leaders when it comes to the lust for Power and Big Government, they just have a different agenda to rally their pawns behind. Anybody whose eyes are open can see by the budget battle that the establishment Republicans don’t really want to shrink the budget. They give it lip service only to get reelected in 2012.
Read this article to get a glimpse of the pain we are headed for:
    http://mises.org/daily/5223/Charting-the-Course-to-7-Gas

And watch them, as the consumer prices go up and our cash savings lose their purchasing power, blame the problems on everything But the Federal Reserves excess money creation and Big Government’s wasteful spending. It will be a repeat of the 1970s (only much worse).

    • Dan az

      Dave
Really good site!If only one person would look at it they would be blown away at what has happened at the time obumer took office. One of the problems that I see is that there is a lack of regulations controlling the theft.I think it was Regan that lifted it during his time in office. But you have to remember who was giving the advice. The deregulation caused this and obumer continues to expand the theft way beyond blatant theft for his money changers.I just wish that everyone would get the facts by just watching the documentory Inside Job and understand who is actually doing this and why.
      1.

The Fed has tripled the money supply and reduced interest rates to zero.
      2.

A stronger economy is trying to get off the ground but can’t because all the newly created money is being retained by the banks in reserve.
      3.

Eventually the banks will start lending again, and the velocity of money will increase.
      WHGDtOM?

      Print: $10 $8

      Audio: $15
      4.

When that occurs, inflation will begin to show signs that even Bernanke can’t ignore, and he will respond by raising rates.
      5.

Eventually, increased velocity, inflation, high oil prices, and interest rates will conspire to crash the market again. And we start the whole thing over again — if we can.

With the tripling of the money supply, cold mathematics would imply that eventually prices will likewise triple — once the new money has made it out into the economy. Thus, $3.50 gas becomes $10.50 gas. Clearly the math is not as easy as that, because really no one (especially Bernanke) can predict what will happen; but if history is any guide, then all of a sudden, $7 gas seems like a deal.
This year will be the end of what was one of the worlds greatest experiments, and all we can do is watch as we are torn apart by the most evil greedy people on the planet take us over.Sad but true!

      • DaveH

We could stop them, but first the vast majority of citizens need to be awakened to reality.
One thing’s for sure. If we put another Mainstream Republican into the Presidency, Government is going to just keep growing. The Mainstreamers won’t cut back Government because they like the power.

      • Al Sieber

Dave, I’d be really surprised if people wake up.

  • Greg

To those of you who rage about the idiot at the helm of this ship, I understand your frustration. I too despise the entire current administration. I am doing everything in my power including contributing financially and openly campaigning against these a$$hol*s.
I urge everyone to refrain from bringing race or skin color into the argument. I despise Pelosi and Reid as much as I do Hussein Obama. As you all know, the libs will use whatever means at hand, including making us out to be racist, hate filled, rednecks to achieve their goal of the downfall of our Great Nation.
It’s easy to go down to their level. Let’s show them what we are made of. They hate us because they know we’re better than they are. We use facts, logic and the truth and they can not compete with that using only emotion.
    Long live the USA!

    • Wayne937

Greg, I don’t think anyone on this forum is a racist. At least I hope not. If this is true, we would be against Herman Cain … I have heard good things about Cain. I like him a lot. I think, what I have heard so far, that Cain would make a good president. I sure as heck would vote for him over Muslim Communist we have in the White House now. He has been a business man and would be a great asset to getting us out of the economic dolduns we are in.

      • Greg

Gentlemen, Agreed, I’m not suggesting anyone is racist. However, there were several acronyms and descriptions of skin color that, although are technically correct, will surely be construed by the left as indicators of the Right’s racism.
I’m simply suggesting that if we take away their ability to argue with anything other than their emotions (as that’s all they have), then we’ll stay on the high ground – and that makes obama cry.

      • eddie47d

Greg has his blinders on about how civil you all are. Wayne; Hermann Cain supports the Federal Reserves so don’t get too giddy about him.

      • JeffH

That is true. Herman Cain is a wolf in sheeps clothing.
Herman Cain, 2012 hopeful: “There’s No Reason To Audit The Federal Reserve”
        http://www.dailypaul.com/153575/herman-cain-2012-hopeful-theres-no-reason-to-audit-the-federal-reserve

      • Greg

Eddie, I have no blinders on. I’ve never said anything about endorsing Cain or anyone else for that matter. When there are posts that talk about the LFN from Mombasa and the Black Muslim in the office, it gives the libs the ammo they need to paint all Conservatives as stupid, redneck, racists. If the authors of those comments had merely stated something like:
        1) The Head A$$h*le in charge
        2) The Muslim in the White House
        3) The lying S.O.B.’s that are running this Country,
        Etc, etc, etc,…
I’m certain everyone reading would know who they meant. Their rage would have come thru just fine, and mostly importantly, the sh*thead libs would have no grounds to play the race card, which they are so fond of doing.

      • Wayne937

eddie47d, Herman Cain would still be much better than a Muslim Communist in the White House.

      • Patty

Another lessor of two evils choice? Allen West would be better. Needs more seasoning first.

      • Harold Olsen

Right now, Herman Cain is my choice. However, if Allen West gets into the race, I’ll be switching to him. I think, though, Cain/West or West/Cain would make one hell of a team.

      • Wayne937

Harold, put it this way, there will be only one man/woman running against this Muslim Communist Obama. Who ever it is, I’ll be voting for that person, not Obama.

    • mickey

Yes, it only fuels the idea anyone against obama is skin colored. What a shame though, he could have been a great example for many people.

        still a top dog —
a “commissioned” officer depends on his Master Sergeant. Senior or Chief.

I get it. My sister is an E8, supply. Going for her 3rd tour. Runs the supply lines. I still question her lack of common sense at times. There are many people in high positions that should(n’t) be there. It is called the Peter Principle.

    • Wayne937

Beeye, I think Obama already has us a third world country. I just hope the next president can get us out of the economic slump that Obama and Bush put us in.

    • Patty

Beeye – your comment that corporations do not pay taxes is ignorant. The top 10 may not because they have politicians in their pockets. I run an S-Corp and I pay taxes. As many of my clients do. Only their corporate profits flow to their personal 1040 form, where many of them pay plenty in taxes. I cut the checks to the state and feds for it. If you are going to make a comment, at least be credible. Many C-corps bonus out their execs, shareholders and employees so the tax burden then flows to them. If you give away your profits at the end of the year, you do not incur a tax liability. They follow the tax code that the politicians have put in place. It is an ignorant statement to say that they do not pay taxes. They pay according to the tax code. If you have a problem with that, your anger should be focused at the lawmakers, not corporations.

      • Patty

PS – The fact that the left constantly claims that corporations do not pay taxes shows another side of them being disingenuous and miss representing the facts.

  • TIME

The only people in this nation who think that we are on a Road to Recovery are either completely and totaly Brain dead or sleeping in a deep dark cave miles below the earths sufrace along with Rip Van Winkel.
Or I guess some may be getting Government aid so life has been about the same for them.

For anyone with any gray matter thats still sparking, its clearly obvious that this nation is falling apart.
As business after business folds up the {un empolyed} who have been so now over 4 years have just dropped off the radar. Why?
They are living under a bridge or squatting in forclosed or abandon homes or in the forest all around this nation.
But yea sure the {Un employment} numbers are really only 9.1% and if you believe that; Can I sell you a bridge thats lightly used?

Again I ask this question. Who’s going to spend millions of dollars of their own on expanding their business when they can grasp that they will take a 100% total loss?

Oh yea thats right, I know all the good natured quasi liberals would do something like that, NOT! No they are closing down as fast as they can and moving to India and China where they can get workers for $5.000.00 per year with No union BS, and they can fire them at will or have them work 15 hours long days.
Lets think that rather than someone who’s getting paid – $50K – $100K per year here in the US with Unions benifits.
Lets see you do the math for even $50K per year you can hire 10 people at $5K and get ten times the work done, so lets see do you really need PHD from Harvard to figure that out?

Depression, hell we are headed for something far worse than that.

People look we as a nation are broken as well we are heading into very “DARK TIMES.” yes we are “Progressing” but backwards, now thats progress you can take to the bank! Or not.

There is however still some slight hope that when we come out of this very DARK Period of TIME perhaps we may still have Liberty & Freedom.
    Then again, perhaps not.
Its up to you all to rethink what Liberty & Freedom really mean to you, then get off your fat butts and fight back.

    • Tsunami

Time all true but please please please fight intelligently this time.

Any Republican will have to overcome the residual impact of the previous Rep. administration so have on foot on a banana peel from the start.

Is there anybody in the current crop who is smooth like Ronny?

Turkey got their economy together and did not have the benefit of being the World’s reserve currency and I believe you Americans can learn something from them.

      • Wayne937

Tsunami, Obama can’t tell the truth. Obama is a failure to our country and to the rest of the world. We used to be a proud country, helping other poor nations, and was using our military strength for good, not for evil. Obama has to be fired if we are ever going to go back and be a great country again. We need a man/woman with a different ideology and a love of country to bring us back. I think any of the candidates we heard on the debate last night would be able to do just that. I like them all, but Michele Bachman really made an impression on me.

      • Tsunami

Time I agree wholeheartedly but if you want to win the only way to do that is to fight intelligently and not come on like a raging elephant regardless of the circumstances or provacation.

Keep the objective in mind at all times which is to get them out of office and keep them out.

Appearing radical will not do it and the media will jump all over you and the voters are not bright enough to see through it.

Be cool until it is time not to be cool.

Obi got the White House by being cool despite the fact that he had no credentials, no experience and no ability but it worked.

    • Patty

Some are also fleeing to Costa Rica. Cut bait and run. They are staunch democrats and work for them during elections. Sorry to see them go, not!

    • Wayne937

I agree, TIME. I don’t think we are on the road to recovery either with really good jobs that pays anything. Maybe Wal-mart and McDonald may be hiring from time to time, but that is about it and even those jobs are hard to come by. I have a friend who is retired looking for a job to supplement his income, but there is not any to be had. Until we drop the current corporate tax rate, bind the hands of the EPA, and get the unions to quit protecting the ones who are lazy, or screwing off, the jobs are going to stay over seas. The jobs will not come back again like they did after WW 2. After WW 2 we were the big kid on the block. Those nations we fought had their factories all knocked down and had to buy their products from the US. Now that they have all our technoloby from us being over there, they are competing with us and they can tell us to take a hike as we will not have any other hoice. People has to get this through their heads. The economy is not coming back anytime soon. I feel it will take many years. It will never be like it was doing doing and after WW 2.

      • eddie47d

Sounds like Time wants us to be making $5,000 per year to compete with the rest of the world. Instead of correcting the problems he actually wants to take us down to the bottom. I guess that is what millionaires do to make money . Cannibalize the workers below them.

For one, the real UE number is more in line with 22% if not higher. That fails to even cover the Under Employed as in working but earning 1/4 or less of what they used to take home.

Civil discourse….is that what you think the Obama mantra is about? Anderson, you need to wake up and stop drinking the Marxist cool aid.

Obuma is part of a bigger movement to down grade the US…read his books. He was proud of his fathers beliefs that the US is the last great power and should be brought down to its knees. You liberals can’t see the obvious because you never want to be confused by the facts. We are sinking fast and the joke in the WH is at the controls. God help us!

    • Patty

It is all partisan politics. Vote for your team no matter how bad they are.

    • mickey

Yes, he seems to idolize his father rather than to give credence to the ones who cared for him. He is hardly the only child abandoned by a father (or mother) in this nation. Yet, he fills the void with the abusing parent. This is quite typical in abandoned or abused children.

      • Patty

Most peoples ideologies are formed by the age of 10. There for, formidable years. The years when his personality was formed. This is why he gives his father such credence.

    • Tom Anderson

If not civil discourse, are you willing to pick up a REAL gun and go after our enemies? – Obama, Bush, CFR, the Fed?

No! You want to rant and yell rather than man-up and pick up a gun and do something about it.

In the mean time, I will support civil discourse which even Ike supported during our darkest periods against communism.

You and Castro – both loud ranting whimps!

Do you believe that there is ANY difference between Obama and Bush? They both take their orders from the same MIC that Gen. Washington and Ike warned us about.

Those two illustrous patriots did NOT warn us about a socialist mulatto with big ears – socialist mulattos with big ears will NEVER be a threat to the USA. But the MIC will be our downfall.

When will US Soldiers be ordered to turn their guns on us Ron Paul “bitter-clinger terrorists”? How many in our armed forces are “oath-keepers”?

Obama orders and our military obeys! Whether it is to attack Libya or Ron Paul supporters! Heaven help us!

Tom A – I am a damn good shot. With new contacts, I could probably be a sharp shooter. My sister is and leaves for her 3rd tour in Iraq in 30 days. Menopausal women with automatics. Gotta love it! Turn her lose over there! :)

      • Tom Anderson

        Dear Patty,

Good shot? All the more reason to be VERY polite to you.

I never understood why the US armed forces dropped a REAL rifle (the 30.06) for the peashooters they carry around now. Those peashooters won’t even main a man thru a brick wall. Why did they go BACKWARDS in technology.

Why go to a smaller power shell – our troops, if anything, should be using a shell with MORE power than a 30.06 rather than less. Simply says that our soldiers today only carry a fraction of the fire power that they did in WW2. Do they still carry BARs?

And thanks for the Wikileaks link. Of course, the CIA will always be its own biggest attacker a la false flag. That way they can keep the real truth as murky as possible.

Do YOU believe those Obama-CIA connections (and his Mommy and GrandMommy) ?

If you come up with other interesting links – I will keep my eyes open for them.

        Thank You

      • Tom Anderson

Is your sister an OATH KEEPER ?

Or, at least, I hope she goes into hormonal therapy before she returns from Iraq. Or, at least, tell me WHICH city to avoid.

      • Patty

I believe she is an Oath Keeper. She has kept quite for now. This is her last tour. She can’t wait to get out of the forces and start screaming at the top of her lungs. Avoid KY, but I believe she may move to MO. when she gets back. I was biking through AR and came across a militia training camp. Asked my uncle about it and he said to not get off the beaten path too far….

      • Tom Anderson

        Dear Liberty,

You don’t get it do you?

Our lawmakers CANNOT investigate or divulge any of Obama’s background.

        Why?? You ask

Simple! National Security laws strictly forbid disseminating ANY information about a CIA asset or employee – PAST or PRESENT.

        Do YOU get it now???

Why do you think that EVERY judge has thrown out EVERY birther lawsuit – because THEY HAD TO! Our National Security Laws are extremely strict and specific!!!

Obama’s REAL birth certificate is protected under our National Security Laws – and STRICTLY enforced!

None of Obama’s past can be divulged because it would compromise State Secrets in Indonesia and Pakistan (where Obama and his Mommy worked for CIA)

        Go READ HISTORY my friend.

The CIA – - the MOST central part of the MIC

Ike, Gen. Washington and Gen. Smedley Butler ALL warned us and, yet, you are worrying about some big-eared mulatto as a threat to the USA? He is just a small pond on the MIC chessboard – just like W. and Daddy Bush.

  • http://gmail.com john desmond

I’m fairly conservative. I’ve also read Ayn Rand. But I’m not a Republican nor do I see any good that has come from most Republicans since Eisenhower. Nor would Rand or Goldwater. And the last one started another war that no one needed. Republicans seem to want wars. And wars we don’t win. Bush didn’t finish his job. I have several reasons why I am not and would never be a Republican: it’s because of other Republicans. Just read the comments above. They are all hateful. I don’t want to be in a party that is openly so hateful. Secondly, Republicans are not fiscal conservatives. They all voted for war with Iraq just after a period where we were balancing the federal budget. I’m not going to the tea party.

    • Wayne937

john, your wrong. Go back over history and you will clearly see that most of the wars started under the Democrats. I can’t believe you would make a statement like this without getting the facts straight. Vietnam was really started under President Kennedy as Kennedy had troops over there as advisors before he died. When Johnson (Democrat) got in the fighting escalated. What president was in office during world war 2. It was Democrat Franklin D. Roosevelt. Woodrow Will was the Democratic President during WW1. Where are you getting your facts? Don’t you check out these things you post. By saying that the Republicans are to blame for starting the wars is erroneous. By tell fibs like this people will not believe anything you say anymore.

      • ValDM

Don’t want to rain on your parade, but we had troops in V.N. in the early 50′s. Yes, Kennedy escalated what he’d inherited; yes, Johnson escalated what he’d inherited. But the fact is, that Viet Nam had American troops & CIA there as early as 1954.

      • ValDM

Since history is being discessed, WHO was the president in 1954???? You seem to have given him a big fat pass.

      • Wayne937

There U.S. was not in any war in Vietnam doing the 50′s. We are talking about who started the wars, or police action, what ever you want to call it. Stick with the facts. The Korean War was started under a Democrat by th name of Harry S. Truman. Go back and check you facts again. That make three major wars which was started under the Democrats; Ww 1, WW 2, and the Korean War.

      • Harold Olsen

It was actually Harry Truman, a Democrat, who first sent “advisers” to Vietnam.

Years ago, PBS ran a documentary about Vietnam. According to it, Ho Chi Minh was a devout anti-Communist. He asked Truman to help him drive the French out of Vietnam. Truman, more or less, told him to go to hell. Uncle Ho then turned to the Chinese and became a Communist. The US went in to help the French who then hauled ass and left us with it.

Just how much of the documentary was true, is hard to say. But then, it was PBS.

    • mickey

I don’t usually comment this much on one subject, but my hackles have really been raised. People are angry and that is why they are leaving the type of comments that are on this blog. With almost 10% unemployeement, people losing their homes, and children going hungry, I definitely understand the anger. As far as all of those people being Republican, you should take a closer look in the mirror. Many, not all by any means, of the people that no longer have jobs are people that worked in the auto industry and belonged to unions. Unions traditionally are liberal and vote Democratic.

  • Robert A Hirschmann

In my opinion, Obama should be impeached immediately and not allowed to run again. He never should have been elected in the first place. He is a disgrace to this country and against everything we stand for. Who voted for him anyway??? As far as the Republican candidate for president, I would hope that the people would elect Michele Bachman. From all that I have learned about her she is the only person that will get this country back to where we belong. We need her and more like her in charge (e.g. the house and senate) I don’t know how Reid ever got reelected because he is another Obama clone. We have to get all the Tea Party members into congress and oust the democratic liberals.

The 2012 election will bring out the worst of the worst concerning voter fraud at every level.

    • Harold Olsen

Impeachment will never happen. The Republican controlled House of Representatives won’t file articles of impeachment against Obama because they don’t have the courage to do so. Even if they did, the corrupt Democrat controlled Senate would not follow through, even though–or perhaps I should say especially because–it would violate the Constitution which the left cares nothing about, unless they can twist it to further their agenda, and considers it an illegal document.

Mitt has already been selected. Watch and see. The rest is just for show. Those who control Obama control the country and the elections. I hope I am wrong. Time will tell.

    • Patty

Robin-you are so right. It is hard to beat something when the masses are followers, and they are willing to go over the cliff.

    • DaveH

No doubt. The MSM will push for Romney (just as they pushed for McCain) until the primaries are over. Then they will concentrate on getting their Liberal favorite elected again.

      • Patty

We can change this. Ron Paul is the only one advocating to get us out of these wars. Tap the liberal 60′s generation to swing his way. Make peace, not war. Obama is keeping us over there. He could have brought us home, instead he escalates.

    • JeffH

      Hear Hear!

    • Harold Olsen

I agree. Contrary to what we have been led to believe, the people do not select the candidates, the parties do. They anoint the candidate they want and there are enough sheep in both parties who will vote for whomever the party tells them to vote for.

In 2008, Hillary Clinton was the favorite of the Democrats. The party anointed Obama so he was the candidate. For the Republicans it was, I believe, Mitt Romney. The party anointed McCain, so he was the candidate.

This time around, I don’t know who the people’s favorite is for the GOP but I firmly believe the party will anoint Romney this time and I believe that if that happens, Obama wins. I hope I’m wrong.

  • Tom Anderson

So, Mr. Ringer, you don’t like “civil discourse” that Huntsman advocates?

Are you advocating that someone shoot Obama rather than argue with him? Or just scream filthy curses at him?

It will be both uncivil words and uncivil civil war.

  • Master Gunny

Methinks that a lot more people are discontented with Obama than the polls reveal. More is the pity!

Too many people are afraid to voice their opinions of the Community-Organizer-in-Chief because they fear being accused of racism. Better to tell the polster a white lie than to risk the accusations that the left will hurl at anyone who dares question the “annointed one.” Political correctness has become the new censorship and it is an evil that courageous Americans MUST resist. I do not dislike/distrust/disdain/disapprove of this president becuase he happens to be “dark green” (military speak for black Americans) but rather because he is utterly incapable of exerting the kind of leadership that tis country desperately needs.

    • Wayne937

Master Gunny, I am one of those who don’t give a hoot about political correctness, and I’ll tell anyone that. I say Merry Christman in the Christman season, not Happy Holidays like a lot of folks do. I will not even write Xmas, I write out the whole thing as Christmas. I want to keep Christ in Christmas as this is his birthday. I say to hell with political correctness, it is ruining our heritage. I am a proud God Loving American. I have always been and will continue until the end of time.

      • Master Gunny

Far too many Americans are content to just “get along,” afraid to get theirs hands dirty in the admittedly nasty game of politics. We are becoming a nation of sheep, easily led around by the nose or duped by slick politicians with high words and low morals. American politcs has ALWAYS been a brutal and dirty business. Even George Washington failed to escape the rocks and stones thrown by those who disapproved of his policies. In 1859 there was even an assault on a senator on the floor of the senate (Charles Sumner) by a southern politician (Preston Brooks) so acrimony in the public forum is nothing new.

While I do not condone the bitterness of the debate or the physical attacks that were (and sometimes are) a part of our debates I absolutely abhor the silent masses who are totally uninvolved in the political process. There is a grave diiference between being governed and being ruled and I fear that we will see even greater tyranny befall us if more people do not become informed and involved.

    • http://PersonalLibertyDigest Liberty

Master Gunny, I know of no one in my circles that gives a damn about a person’s skin color; they do give more than a damn about a religious belief intent on destroying infidels, and they do give a damn about an individual supporting Marxist ideas and philosophy. The racist arguement propagated by the lefties is old and tired.

      • eddie47d

Then those on the right shouldn’t use racial terms to describe Obama (chocolate President, etc). Be civil and don’t give the left ammunition to say different.

      • Master Gunny

Eddie, I agree wholeheartedly and it worries me to see the tenor of discussions on so many blogs. Tempers have been brought to the boiling point and reason has been replaced by ranting.

One of the first commandmants of combat is to keep your cool under stress, to think rather than emote, and to continually apply the OODA principle (observation, orientation, decision, action) to defeat your enemy. If you can you inflame your enemy’s passions that’s sometimes a good thing because he will often do irrational things. On the other had that very irrationality means that you must be prepared for illogical, even bizarre actions.

The conservative movement has the answers, we have historical precedent, we have a track record of success. Regrettably the media has trivialized nearly every issue and used classic subversion techniques to warp the disccussion; obsure, demonize, bait-and-switch, present just side of the argument, etc.

      • JeffH

        Be civil? Ha! LMAO again.

      • Patty

So Eddie, is that why my VERY liberal attorney client asks another if the person they are talking about is black? Not sure what the difference would have been about there racial make-up, except they were discussing their liability case. I work with a lot of liberal attorneys. I am considered their token conservative. So, don’t tell me how un-racist they are. Wolf in sheeps clothing is more like it.

      • Patty

Do you mean like those on the “left”? http://24ahead.com/blog/archives/002546.html
As a conservative, I do not judge a person by the color of their skin. I do by the content of their character. It is just too bad that it seems that the left as a whole lacks content of character.

These people have destroyed hundreds of thousands of acres of farmland over minnows, the timber industry over an owl, have made us vulnerable to attack on our own soil by convincing the retards in DC not to drill for oil, destroyed our wild game herds by bringing Canadian wolves into our country, and done as much to destroy our country as obama.

The commie type Czars the phony has given power to are working daily to bring this country literally to its’ knees.

      • eddie47d

Butch; No farmland was “lost” and actually is preserved for the future. The timber industry wanted to cut down all the redwoods and it’s their greed that knocked them down a notch. That would have been a tragedy if they got away with it. There is still plenty of drilling here in the USA and the recent slowdown was brought to us courtesy of those same oil companies. (recklessness).Wolves prey on the weakest in any herd keep diseases down and the herds thinned naturally.Too much negativity in what you said instead of a balanced view.

      • Patty

Eddie – You obviously do not live in rural America. Farmland has been lost to many of the farm subsidies, CRP is one, and the list is almost endless. There practically isn’t a crop you can grow out there without being able to access a subsidy. Mostly by large corporate farmers. Most small farms cannot exist without what is called their milk check from the gov’t. since they imposed regulatory pricing on milk. Forest fires destroy more trees than the forestry industry. Plus, the industry replants where they take from. Taking of the redwoods was mostly due to the demand of liberal hollywood wanting to build their little cabin castles outside of the city el natural. So, do you want to outlaw mother nature for her damn little forest fires?

      • eddie47d

Patty; I protested against corporate farms 35-40 years ago and saw the writing on the wall. Most Americans didn’t care then and still don’t care. The small farms were bought out and gobbled up. Monsanto is a giant in the ag business and I see more revulsion on liberal sites over GMOs and cloned fish than I do on Conservative sites. My uncle lost his farm back in the early 80′s,(Dairy and corn).Couldn’t even make money back then so it is hardly a new issue.I remember when Willie Nelson tried to awaken folks and he did make some headway. Then the IRS kept hounding him and that was the end of that.

      • Patty

I know Eddie. And you can thank the people who paid them off with gov’t. subsidies. Point is made again that when the gov’t. gets involved everything else goes down the toilet. May not be today, but here is our tomorrow. People have to be able to stand on their own. Some people who take over a family farm, any business may not have the capacity to run that business. It is all part of the cycle of life. Gov’t. cannot and should not interrupt the natural cycle. Everytime they do this, they screw it up, get it wrong, and overall hurt and/or make worse what should actually be happening. Our new Gov. Dayton’s family had a terrific retail business. Old man Dayton knew his son did not have the capacity to run the business that he built, so he sold it off and put the money in off-shore trusts and states with no state income tax for his inept son. Gov. Dayton has never held a private sector job. He went from college, to being a teacher to politics. Those who can’t do, teach or get a public sector job. These same inept people are ruling our lives.

LMAO again! Balanced view? Hypocricy at it finest.

What was said and your answer went in a totally different direction completely.

“These people have destroyed hundreds of thousands of acres of farmland over minnows(Delta Smelt-California’s Central Valley), the timber industry over an owl(Northern Spotted Owl-Willamette National Forest), have made us vulnerable to attack on our own soil by convincing the retards in DC not to drill for oil, destroyed our wild game herds by bringing Canadian wolves into our country, and done as much to destroy our country as obama.”
Every bit of this comment can be backed up with facts!

As for your wolf comment, educate yourself on that issue. Thinning herds and the sick? Bull puckey! Read about how the Wolves are reducing elk populations In Montana and Yellowstone NP.
Elk counts from 1994 to 2008 have dropped from 67% to 81% in those herds.

Gary Marbut, president of the Montana Shooting Sports Association, wasn’t surprised to hear that elk populations have dropped as the result of the 1994 reintroduction of wolves in Yellowstone National Park.

“Wolves are an ecological catastrophe,” Marbut said. “There have been a lot of studies that show each wolf will take from 25 to 80 elk per year … it’s just a matter of third-grade math that the number of elk will go down as the number of wolves increase.”

      • Patty

Eddie – The drilling slow down is a direct result of the administration not issuing permits. nd yes, you are going to hear that they have been issuing hundreds of permits. They are not new however, they are permits being reissued on existing wells.

      • eddie47d

You are correct that permitting for almost anything is a slow process. Some is necessary and some just a waste of time. That was in place before Obama too but he could be more reasonable in getting the laws changed. I’m against any more permitting on the North Slope of Alaska. Now if the companies who want to drill up there put up a 20 billion dollar bond OR more then maybe they can prove themselves. The environmental damage and cleanup would be far more costly than in the Gulf.

      • Patty

Eddie – Again, it was those same gov’t. regulations that permitted that oil spill to happen. If the people under Obama’s helm would have done their due diligence, this spill may never have happened. But because BP was a very large donor to the Obama campaign, the same people making these regulations did not go out and check that oil rig. They signed off on it without an inspection from their ivory DC tower. ..but the man in charge of Deepwater Horizon’s permit admits he approved it without proof.” http://www.thedailybeast.com/cheat-sheet/item/oil-rig-last-resort-not-so-failsafe/gulf-disaster/#

SMSgt, I appreciate you serving our country, but I believe that your brain may have been effected by all those chemicals they used in Vietnam. I don’t think anyone said to shut down the EPA. We do need to rein them in though. Factories cannot operate efficiency when some one is looking down their back all the time. We need to drill for our own oil and gas. The EPA would shut that all down if they could. It is a fact we need oil to create our energy, run our machinery, deliver our goods and all the by products we get from oil that you yourself use every day and probably don’t even know it. Google oil by products for yourself and see what items that you are willing to do without. Do you drive a car, or operate any machine that is powered by gasoline? if so you a hypocrit for using something that is going to pollute the air. Everything you use has had a direct, or indirect contact with oil. Why did this nutty administration give Brazil 2.5 million dollars to drill over there on their off shore and then tell them we would be their best customer? Wouldn’t it had been better to have given a company that much money to drill over here in our country. Obama also gave Mexico 1.5 billion dollars to drill in the southern Gulf of Mexico. Do you support this? If so, then there is not any reasoning with your and the chemical has definately effected your mind while in Vietnam.

I will. Shut down the EPA, and the Department of Education, and the Department of Energy, and …..

Obamie additionally gave Brazil $3 Billion to drill for oil in the Gulf, while at the same time sitting on approval of permits for drilling by companies providing American jobs.

Reports I heard yesterday stated if we completely shut down the U.S.’s industries and the driving of every automobile, it would have the effect of changing carbon emissions less than 0.72 parts per million. Those attempting to destroy our country choose to ignore these findings. Now, if we could shut down China, India, and some of the other 3rd world countries, we might have a neglibible effect on so-called “global warming”. They have already sprayed my fields twice and it is only June. We have pesticide resistent weeds and they spray and spray and spray. Guess where all the excess spray turns up? Yep, in the streams, especially with hard rock soil and the run off.

We have deformed cattle, children with arsenic in their blood.

We have vaccine upon vaccine that no one knows the effect of.

Good luck with your support of the obamaites, be they repub or dem.

      • Patty

Mickey – you said “your fields”. Do you farm? Is Monsanto in your fields?

      • mickey

Sorry, I should have said my “farmer’s” fields. I am surrounded by them. The nearest neighbor is 1/4 mile away. And yes, I have problems with the pesticides. Mice used to think I was there winter home but no more. I also used to have bees and only have a few until they spray again. Many of my plants won’t grow nor do I have good fruit off my trees. They bear fruit but then just drop off before maturity.

My house water drains across the fields (2 1/2 miles) to a creek. That creek goes into the local river. Thousands of acres of pesticide dump into the drinking water. This is clay soil so the water runs off the top into the creek.

      • Patty

I rent my tillable to a farmer. I use to grow organic crops. he was very good about not spraying within 30 feet from my garden. I noticed that many of the farmers in the area have mentally lost thier edge or have died prematurely from cancer. Monsanto is in the process of developing seeds that will not reproduce seeds. (genetic engineering) They are sueing farmers who do not want to be in their program.

I wholeheartedly agree with you that Obama should be impeached. Just as Clinton was impeached for lying to the grand jury, Obama should be impeached for his lying. He should also be held accountable for all the legislation and deals that he has made behind closed doors without the approval of the American people. I have yet to see one piece of legislation on the internet before it was passed. Also shame on all of our congressmen and women that went along with it.

As far as all the name calling and racist remarks from commenters should not appear on this sight. It sinks us down to Obama’s level of intellect and morality. I definitely understand that people do this because they are outraged over the events that Obama has caused. Unemployeement is as high as it was during Carter’s term. Housing industry has collapsed, the middle class is disappearing due to industry moving over seas. We are now in three wars with another brewing in the Middle East. Even though Obama cannot be blamed for all of these, he can certainly be blamed for not getting us out of the situations we are in and he definitely can be blamed for the coming depression and for the lies that he continues to tell.

The fact that only 48% of the people think we are in trouble is an indicator of just how effective the democrat-controlled media is at covering up the truth about maobama and the scumocrats. The fact that only 47% of the people would not vote for maobama is a disgrace – the percentage should be 100% because he is the most evil and dangerous man to ever draw a breath. These numbers should not give any confidence to conservatives because the scumocrats are in full swing in preparing to buy votes and commit vote fraud. In the scumocrat cesspool in which I live, St. Clair County, IL, jobs are being handed out to party loyalists like candy and big money is being spread around to put democrat controlled union slugs to work. Also, even if maobama is voted out of office, this country will not be safe until every scumocrat and rino is removed from every position of power in every segment of society. Lieberalism is a cancer and we cannot leave one cancer cell to grow and spread.

This started a long time before Obama. It started when people ignored the wise teachings of Thomas Jefferson and a few others (Madison, Washington), and let Lincoln install a powerful central government that trampled states’ rights. It has been going mostly downhill since that time. The only way out of this mess, long term, is to get our children and others educated in the principles of freedom and limited government. That isn’t going to happen in Government-run schools.

      • steve in AZ

        Right on,Dave.

Abolish the DOE,IRS,Federal Reserve,FDA,EPA- all of ‘em.

“This started a long time before Obama. It started when people ignored the wise teachings of Thomas Jefferson and a few others (Madison, Washington), and let Lincoln install a powerful central government that trampled states’ rights.”

Yes, and all the more tragically pitiful that if slavery had not existed in 1861, the whole thing would have been unnecessary. The South, as promised in the 1856 Democrat National Platform, threatened violence and secession over slavery:

“…that all efforts of the abolitionists, or others, made to induce Congress to interfere with questions of slavery, or to take incipient steps in relation thereto, are calculated to lead to the most alarming and dangerous consequences; and that all such efforts have an inevitable tendency to diminish the happiness of the people and endanger the stability and permanency of the Union, and ought not to be countenanced by any friend of our political institutions.

“That claiming fellowship with, and desiring the co-operation of all who regard the preservation of the Union under the Constitution as the paramount issue—and repudiating all sectional parties and platforms concerning domestic slavery, which seek to embroil the States and incite to treason and armed resistance to law in the Territories; and whose avowed purposes, if consummated, must end in civil war and disunion…”

So there you have it: The South seceded over the slavery issue, fired the first shots, and bore the consequences…and the increased centralization of government power that was an unfortunate but necessary result of the insurrection is now part of our heritage.

BTW, the slavery issue could have been settled once and for all when the framers of the Constitution were conferring. It was only by the classification of slaves as “property” and the 3/5 Compromise that ever allowed the Union of all 13 states to be effected. Had those two compromises not occurred, there would have been two nations instead of one from the get-go.

      • DaveH

        Blah, Blah, Blah.
Interesting that a Liberal is whining about slavery at the same time they are trying to enslave us all.
Any good history professor can tell you you’re full of it, Vigilant.

      • DaveH

        Here’s one:
“In The Real Lincoln, Professor DiLorenzo convincingly exposed Lincoln idolatry as a fraud that has poisoned America’s understanding of itself. Following up in Lincoln Unmasked, he shows who maintains and profits from the toxin in the body politic and the damage that they are doing to us to this very day. DiLorenzo’s masterful diagnosis, we may hope, will go a long way toward a cure.” —Clyde Wilson, Distinguished Professor Emeritus of History, University of South Carolina

      • DaveH

Here’s an example of how very propagandized we have all been about Lincoln. How many of you thought the emancipation proclamation issued by Lincoln ended slavery? Here is the text of the proclamation:
        http://www.archives.gov/exhibits/featured_documents/emancipation_proclamation/transcript.html
Notice that it only ended slavery in the states that were in “rebellion”. There were four slave states who fought with the North and were exempt. It was a war measure, that was all. Several years later the fourteenth amendment was passed which sounds good to the casual reader, but in essence it allowed the former slaves to vote, but denied that vote to the people who were involved in the “rebellion” which was most of the white males in the South. Is it any wonder that there was animosity against post civil war blacks in the South by the disenfranchised whites?
It was all calculated to bring the Southerners to their knees for the ‘horrendous’ crime of not wanting to be part of the Union. Didn’t we fight in three wars for the right of people to determine their own destiny? And wasn’t the revolution fought for the same?
        Absolute Power corrupts Absolutely.

      • Vigilant

So now, Dave, let’s open up the inventory:

        (1) You have shown disdain for the concept of patriotism on more than one occasion (“Patriotism is just another manipulative word used by Big Government operatives to silence dissenting voices. If there are such a thing [sic] as Patriots, those people would embrace and obey the Constitution which they swear to uphold.”). Therefore, we have to logically assume that you have no love for your country, since patriotism is defined as precisely that.

        (2) You pretty generally and assiduously avoid postings on any of the forums here which deal with patriotic themes, such as patriotic songs, the flag, honoring the military dead, etc. I’ve done the search, and your postings are few and far between.

        (3) Given your statements regarding the military system of justice, you have obviously not served in the Armed Forces of the US, and have little if any conception of how they operate, nor do you understand that military discipline entails the strictest obedience to orders as issued. You seem to believe that libertarian principles should also apply to the military.

        (4) You claim a moral high ground but are an atheist. Therefore you reject Jefferson’s statement in the Declaration of Independence that our natural rights come from God. So where do they come from Dave? Do you subscribe to the secular humanist canard that only the enlightened elite can tell us what’s right and what’s wrong?

        (5) You have also denigrated the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag by emphasizing to us that it was written by a socialist. Do you ever recite the pledge, or do you just leave out the words “under God?”

        (6) You seem to take a particular delight in running down America’s heroes.

        (a) You post a link (Rothbard’s article on Mises) that second-guesses George Washington’s imposition of discipline on the Revolutionary Army, as if that made him an evil dictator (hint: the military IS a dictatorship, always has been and always will be. It couldn’t survive without being so).

        (b) You assassinate the character of Abraham Lincoln, one of the greatest presidents of the US. Why? Because after the thousands of books written about him, only two works by Thomas DiLorenzo suddenly become your authoritative works on Lincoln. Yes, Dave, only DiLorenzo has the mystic powers of always being correct in his assessments. You should move in next to him; he could give you infallible stock picks or winning lottery numbers.

So, for a man who worships at the altar of atheism, thinks that patriotism and the Pledge of Allegiance are a lot of hooey, misunderstands the military but feels free to make unfounded assertions about it, and who regularly runs down American heroes, my question is this: are you a just a closet liberal posing as a Libertarian?

      • Vigilant

        Dave,

If you’re looking for anything even close to perfection in leadership, you need to go back 2,000 years to find it. The advancement of enlightened and moral causes has been effected by leaders who were far from perfect.

Martin Luther was an anti-Semite, as was Thomas More. Does that in any way negate the PRINCIPLES they sought to advance? Many of the Founders were slaveholders. In what way did that impact the PRINCIPLES of Natural Law and equality? Martin Luther King, Jr. cheated on his wife, plagiarized portions of his doctoral dissertation and associated with known communists. How did that abridge the PRINCIPLE of nonviolent protest?

And Abraham Lincoln, far from perfect, and harboring views that were racist, wrote the Emancipation Proclamation (against the advice of all but one of his cabinet members), endorsed the 13th Amendment and advocated full citizenship for the freed slaves, an event he could not witness because he was killed for that view just days after he was inaugurated for his second term.

How, then, did Lincoln’s philosophical shortcomings impact the PRINCIPLE of equality for all? And how does that change the fact that actions speak louder than words?

      • Vigilant

DaveH calls me a liberal. To him and anyone else who would believe this big lie, I offer the following: with regard to the hundreds of postings I’ve made on this forum, my political and religious beliefs have been divulged many times. Now, tell me, would a liberal espouse the following:

        (1) A deep and abiding love of my country and reverence for the principles advanced by the Declaration of Independence and Constitution?
        (2) A belief that our natural rights come from God and not the state or any self-appointed elite?
        (3) A return to Constitutionalism by rolling back the unconstitutional laws, executive orders, illegal regulatory agencies and transparently incorrect court rulings?
        (4) A return to the functions of Federal Government as enumerated in the Constitution, and strict enforcement of the 10th Amendment?
        (5) Annulment of the 17th Amendment so that Senators are once again appointed by state legislatures instead of being popularly elected?
        (6) Scuttling the EPA, Depts. Of Education and Energy, and a host of other Federal agencies?
        (7) Getting the government out of the free market, where it has no business?
        (8) Keeping a strong military but stopping the adventurism around the world in unnecessary, illegal and costly wars?
        (9) Enforcing immigration law and stopping the flow of illegal aliens (and terrorists) across our southern borders?
        (10) Returning the country to a nation that fully respects the free exercise of religious beliefs?
        (11) Curtailing the collective bargaining power and other strangleholds that the public sector labor unions have on the taxpayer?
        (12) A firm belief that the verdict is not yet in on global warming, that most of it is political activism and junk science?

I could go on, but you get the point. DaveH is fully aware of my assertions along the above lines, but because I disagree with him on a few things (patriotism and the flag, God and country, our national heroes and the Civil War), and have proven him wrong on several, he adopts the Alinskyite tactic of calling me a liberal!

Moreover, when I have offered to end the feud on two occasions, even complimenting him on his good points, he has spurned those offers and wouldn’t even deign to reply. That, people, goes to character, and I have been sadly disabused of his character after such intransigence.

I’ll go so far, but this is the last time, to offer for a third time an olive branch to you Dave. We can simply agree to disagree, as I’ve said before. Or we can continue this childish game which takes up needless energy and gets us nowhere. I’ll also publicly say that I apologize for any insults or perceived insults that I’ve hurled at you, and I’m willing to make a fresh start.

I don’t know how much fairer I can be. The ball’s in your court.

PJ – have you been talking to my husband?? He has been saying the exact same thing since Obama took office! What better place to take us down but from the top. It was said after 9/11 the next attack would be from within – what better place but our white house. As American citizens, WE THE PEOPLE should have the RIGHT to call for and DEMAND the IMPEACHMENT of this president!! Why wait for an election, the sooner he’s out the sooner we may be able to salvage what is left of our great country. I don’t understand why he’s not been served his walking papers already! GOD BLESS OUR U.S.A.!!

      • Bob

Divine intervention is indeed needed because I believe we are too far gone to recover without God’s help. Maybe He will raise up a species of parasite eating bug to do away with the lieberals.

Monsanto will come up with a spray to kill them off. I can’t believe what they are doing to our farmers.

      • Pete

Awesome website PJ ! I bookmarked it .

Bob, it is scary to think that we have that many naive people still supporting a man that has already ruined our economy, as far as I am concerned. I watch Fox News and I am proud of it. I know that they are telling me the truth. At least they alway have a Democrat and a Republican on together so you can hear both sides of the story. I would not watch that stupid Chris Matthews if MSNBC was the only station. They should fire that incompetant Democrat and Obama supporter.

      • Patty

I feel a tinkle running down my leg…..

      • Bob

All lieberals are incompetant because their mental defects keep them from understanding the truth. I personally couldn’t care less about hearing the democrat’s side of things because they are all liars and degenerates.

      • eddie47d

Bob; I’ve heard the exact same thing said about CONservatives so we can all play cute little games with the name calling. Actually Conservatives and Liberals are all good people with differing opinions. The difference between me and you is that you are on the rag everyday so maybe it is time to buy some new pads.

      • Bob

Wrong again eddie, there are no good lieberals because all those on the left are cut from the same cloth as Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, FDR, and Maobama. The left is evil and most of the violence of the last century and the present day is caused by those on the left (abortion, genocide, drive-by shootings, etc.). These are irrefutable facts, eddie, lie all you want, deny all you want, whine all you want, but facts are facts. The truth is not name calling and your attempt to paint lieberals as good people falls flat when the evidence is examined.

      • eddie47d

Seems like Bob is the one doing the whining. Do they give out awards for that?

If there are still Americans who view obama as a positive force for America these people are either black or stupid…or both, this black communist muslim is a terrorist in every sense of the word his objective is our demise into socialism and communism, he is nothing but an affirmative action rabble rouser community organizer who couldn’t run a lemonade stand in the desert and make a profit, WAKE UP YOU STUPID ENTITLEMENT IDIOTS THIS COMMIE IS DESTROYING THE COUNTRY THAT FEEDS YOU AND SOON THERE WILL BE NOTHING LEFT TO ..HANDOUT

Jim, once Obama ruins our economy the same folks who are supporting him won’t have any welfare anymore, or any other entitlements. I hope and pray that they do wake up and see what this Muslim Communist President is doing to this country. I see it as plain as I see the nose on my face when I look in the mirror each morning.

This LFN from Mombasa, Kenya has about as much business trying to run this country as Curly from the Three Stooges does being the POPE and trying to run the Catholic church. And the saddest part is the fact that neither Congress nor the Supreme Court are doing anything to remove this phony imposter.

spoken like a true racist and someone who though bush did a great job.je did look at his debt and lack of understanding and the little black guy from Hawaii gets blamed for the bush mess.

      • Patty

Ralph – He is being blamed for doubling, make that quadrupling down on Bush’s bad policies. He is just a continuation of the same thing sprinkled with socialism. I can’t imagine what it would be like if Gore had of managed to “massaged” his way into the presidency. That would be a picture of from bad to worse. When will we get a well spoken patriot to come forward?? As soon as we get rid of the MSM?

      • DaveH

Look, Herman, either the spending was wrong or it wasn’t. You can’t have it both ways. If Bush was wrong for his profligate spending (and he was), then so is Obama.

      • Wayne937

You have to forgive Herman, for he does not know what he is saying. I would sure hate to feel the way Herman does. It must be alful to feel that way.

  • http://none Floyd Hardee

Obama will say whatever and do whatever he thinks will get him reelected. That is a given! To defeat him take away the welfare vote, the illegal vote, and the dead folks vote! Point out over and over again that we now have the highest debt ceiling in history under the Obama administration. We have soaring unemployment, rising fuel prices, and rising food prices as our farm land base shrinks and the population climbs by virtue of the immigration of hundreds of thousands of illegals. All these problems and more are the direct result of President Obama and his Democrat cronies. Vote them out and help return this country to profitability, to God, and to Democracy….vote Republican! And last but not least let all give kudos to Robert Ringer for his well written article.

    • Wayne937

I watched the Republican Debate last night. I liked what Michele Bachman had to say about Obama; she said that Obama was a one term president. I have to agree with her. History will show that Obama will become one of the worst presidents that this country has ever had. I can see how he fooled some of the folks before with all his lies, but now we have a report card showing that he is a failure. I have always believed that Obama has tried to ruin our countries economy every since he has been in office. I don’t think anyone could be so dumb not to see where he is leading us. Obama surely can be that stupid. He is eading this country into an abyss. We still have a few imbeciles that are supporting him. We need someone who loves their country, its people, and our heritage. We have lost hundreds of thousands of our finest in wars over the last two centuries. We need a president who respects what our dead military personnel has done for us and keep them in our thoughts. By doing this, we will be preserving our nation and our heritage. We certainly do not need a Muslim Communist Kenyan leading the United States of America.

      • Nancy

I agree with you. I do not understand why we are not firing Obama. He certainly does not have the welfare of this country in his heart.
If he worked for a company they would have fired him long ago. He in effect works for the taxpayers, so why are we all just talking about it, he has failed to meet our needs, so get a petition going and ask him to step down. To me it is more important to provide jobs, reduce the wastful spending, analyize the crazy useless health care program that was illegally pushed on us than it is to continue to complain. Just tell him we are not happy with his job, and get someone who can. How about a Rick Perry / Herman Caine ticket. Even Trump, at least he knows about trade and building business. Our government is a business and I think he loves this country.

      • Al Sieber

Obama does work for a corporation, the U.S.A. has become a corporation with Obama as head CEO.

      • Patty

A poorly run and failing corporation.

      • http://Moreexpensive,moreunknowproblems. Lewis Munn

IF a corporation is involved, Obama is working to ruin it, by bankruptcy. But I never saw a “USA Inc.” sticker anywhere. Lots of Made IN USA, but never made by the USA, Inc.

The USA is more an organism, and Obama is feeding it poisons and bleeding it dry.

      • Bob from Calif.

The corporation that Obama is working for is controlled by the Federal Reserve Banksters. He is doing their bidding. Romney seems to be the MSM second choice over Obama, and that worries me about Romney. Its like he is already bought and paid for. Romney is still defending his Romney care, with the excuse that it is a States rights argument. That doesn’t change the fact that it is a socialist program of redistribution. He has already shown his true colors don’t be fooled by any campaign rhetoric.

      • Al Sieber

Thanks Bob, I believe that that our candidates are already picked out for us, the choice is already made.

      • DaveH

Rick Perry, Herman Cain? Romney? More of the same? None of those three are going to shrink Government dramatically, which is what we need. We need shock therapy, not a band-aid.
Wait until the money, that is currently sitting on the side-lines, starts coming into the economy. We are going to have inflation that will make us long for the good old 70s. And the pundits will blame it on everything but the real causes (Federal Reserve and Big Government).
There is nothing we can do to escape that inevitable outcome, but we can shrink Government dramatically, abolish the Federal Reserve, and get our Freedom back. That would result in a prosperity that would help alleviate the pain that will be caused by the loss of our purchasing power.
But first, people need to be woke up to just how much of our Freedom has been spirited away by the PTBs. There are still tens of millions of the citizens who don’t even come close to having a clue of what Big Government has wrought for us.
Watch John Stossel, and Judge Napolitano (Freedom Watch), and read from the websites that will tell you the truth about economics and politics — mises.org, cato.org, and reason.org.

      • Bus

Every election is certainly a crap shoot. I am wondering if Romney is all the bad things that people say. Consider that he was a Republican governor of a VERY Democratic state with a democratic legislature, what kind of conservative would he be if he had a conservative congress to work with? I do trust his business sense much much more than some of the other candidates or the community organizer.
I would like to see a mainstream republican as the candidate with a tea party leaning VP. Bachman or Palin.

      • DaveH

Not only that, Bus, but he sponsored the Massachusett’s Health Care Bill.

      • texastwin827

PLEASE…no one be fooled by Rick Perry! The only reason he was re-elected to a 3rd term is because of who ran against him…Bill White, the Houston mayor that made Houston a sanctuary city! None of us wanted to see Texas turned into a sanctuary State, by White!

If he’d had his way, he would have taken thousands of acres by imminent domaine to build a super highway from Mexico up to St Louis (I-35). It would have been a toll road, probably built by & owned by companies from other countries, as are most of our new toll roads, here in TX.

That highway would have one purpose…to funnel goods through Mexican ports, rather than making them go through a US port, and allowing Mexican trucks to go as far as St Louis, whereas they are currently restricted from doing so, putting even more American’s out of work as well as limiting our ability of checking these trucks.

As for him “Creating jobs”….Texas companies create the jobs, not Rick Perry! We are blessed with lots of sunshine, year round, and except for hot summers and an occassional hurricane or tornado, we have no extreme weather conditions. Our winter days are an average of 55-60 highs and sunny, so there are no days we have to shut down because of a blizzard, etc.

While our property taxes are high on the national scale, we have NO personal state income taxes and, unlike other areas, our real estate costs for a home are very reasonable. In most cases, the homes that were bought before the economic downfall, have retained most of their value. As an example, my daughter has a new 5 bedroom home that was valued at $210K…right now, it’s appraised value is $193 so it did not lose as much as homes in CA or up north did. We also have a large workforce available.

Perry “appears” to be anti-illegal aliens now…but you need to review his points of view, back when the so called wall was approved. In other words, if he thinks you want to hear it…he will say it.

Before anyone blasts me…I’m not a democrat or a republican…I try to vote for the best candidate, regardless of his party affiliation. I probably lean more towards “Libertarian” than anything.

      • Richard Pawley

DAVE: I agree with much of what you say here. I suspect the shock therapy we are going to get will be the eventual tripling of prices of food and fuel and everything else we actually use with the possible exception of houses, or it might be the union inspired riots of the future when this happens. Nature itself seems to be helping to bring about the food shortages and congress…well, I don’t even want to get into that. Less than 17 months and we can replace many of those on both sides who need to retire.

BUS: It is certainly time that we had a woman in the Executive Office. We are behind most of the world in that, but we don’t need to a to-mainstream Republican because there are many other areas that need fixing in this country, like the millions of TONS of antibiotics that are given to cows and pigs to fatten them up and which is creating toxic residue and causing health problems that most don’t even know about, and genetically modified grains that are causing cows and pigs to have spontaneous abortions and infertility so much so that Monsanto is even requiring farmers to sign wavers that they (the farmers) will forever be responsible for the results of using their Round-Up Ready seeds (83 percent of cotton = cottonseed oil), 93% of soy = soy meal, protein, and oil, and 86% of corn). These things are in at least 75 to 80% of our processed foods and they have never been tested on humans. WE ARE THE TEST. The rest of the world is wary of this and have outlawed many things that “are good enough for Americans,” but we are trying to force them to use these dangerous foods. Increasing evidence is that much of this is harmful or lethal, and the recent approval of genetically modified grass or alfalfa is likely to destroy organic farms from coast to coast. GMO contamination has already contaminated natural and organic farms from Australia to California. Is it just a coincidence that Autism and infertility in humans has shot up since GMO foods have been introduced into the environment? How come the Amish who use no chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and certainly don’t use any GMO seeds have very little Autism in their children, no more than any of us had before these things began? Be assured it’s all just a coincidence. Nothing to worry about! Don’t look behind the curtain. NO, WE NEED MORE THAN JUST A MAINSTEAM REPUBLICAN. We need a statesman or woman.

TEXASTWIN: I lived in your great state for two years and have friends and relatives who live there now. I wrote about your weather, the Alamo, and Texas politics, in LEAVING SOUTH CAROLINA but that was years ago when I was stationed there. Thanks for the tip about Perry. I thought that the merging of the USA, Mexico, and Canada was insane when I first heard that George Bush was avoiding questions on the topic, but both parties have a hand in that. That highway you mention would have been run by Spain as I recall. Things like this are why I agree with you that voting for the best candidate, regardless of party, is the best way to go. The time will be past for the Republicans if they don’t find a statesman or woman, because the coming huge inflation caused by the Democratic 110th Congress and now the mixed 111th will be blamed on them if it doesn’t come about in next seventeen months and the citizens elect a regular Republican. The president and his Czars and the socialists in congress are still on their quixotic quest “to fundamentally change America” and they are as far from reality as those who think that if big government is good, a world government will be better, and those who think that there will be any freedom for the individual in a world government. This, by the way will not be in this decade, nor likely until after WWIII is over and what I called “The Greater Depression” in my first book is in it’s final years and both have barely begun.

Many don’t believe in a God who cares about all this, but I assure you He does, so I ask all those who believe in God to pray, pray, pray, that He work His will for righteousness and justice in all of this (true justice will eventually prevail as “what you sow, so shall you reap” is a universal principle of life. God is the creator of all that is good including freedom and without His help we will eventually end up as have Rome, Spain, and England, all once great nations. Dum Spiro Spero!

Rick Perry is a Globalist and insider, and just had his meeting with Builderberge in Switzerland. If they gave him the go ahead and I belive they did you will see shortly that Perry will get in the race.People in order to get our country back we can not have people that are members of secret societies which do not have our best interest in mind, and to be sure the people at the top of these societies DO NOT. As President Kennedy once said secrecy in and open society is repugnant. My choice for a Presidential candidate is Allen West and Ron Paul for VP. They both have Honor and in Ron Paul case , hes voting record shows this to be true, not to mention he knows money and predicted the problems we are having now so he to would make a good presistent. Obviously, no candidate should be elected that is one of the Bilderbergs! But, even this group answers to higher world powers!

The plans are to control food, water, energy, medicine, travel, ownership of any asset…land, metals, crops, herds…They are in the process of eliminating our Sovereignty, Borders, and our Constitution. They are filling our country with foreign voters that have no allegiance to this country!! Americans have been easily distracted allowing the powerful elite to quietly implement their plan for domination and control of every being on the planet…

      • Dons621

In order to toss The Bummer out we need Leaders in the Semate to bring Impeachment charges against him, THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN!!!. Why you say? Easy OBAMA has the proof of illegal things done by THE SENETORS and he will expose them if they would try to toss him under the bus.

      • Patty

Plus, it is a democratic congress run by one of the most corrupt. Reid. It would be a futile effort on the repubs to even address it.

      • vicki

Well technically the House brings the charges. The Senate stands in judgment. However since Obama may not be legitimate he needs to be removed and all his signatures and appointments nullified.

Proof of illegitimacy is the BC that was released by the President in April 2011. It clearly shows that his father is NOT an American citizen and thus Obama can be a native born but not a Natural Born citizen as required by the Constitution.

      • professor

Once in Washington the politicians are told what is “The inevitable!” That being, the plans for the world being divided into “Five Unions”… the first big step toward “One World Government.” Everything being done brings that day closer.

WE no longer have a two-party system, checks and balances, or Constitutional Laws! These things have been discreetly replaced by our politicians that are working towards a common goal. Nothing will be done about the muslim as he is the “tool” used by “One Worlders.” Who else could have placed someone like the muslim…. an unknown foreigner, with no past, no experience, no place of legitimate birth, questionable parentage, and questionable allegiances….in the presidency! Calling on any government agency for help has been obviously futile!

THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS THAT HE IS DOING WRONG THAT IT IS JUST SICKENING AND WE MUST STOP HIM NOW BEFORE IT IS TO LATE.HIS WHITE HOUSE STAFF SAY THAT THEY HAVE CREATED THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF JOBS, BUT THEY CAN’T TELL US WHAT KIND OF JOBS THEY AER OR WHERE THEIR AT,AND YET THE UNEMPLOYMENT IS STILL WAY UP THERE,SO WHERE ARE THESE JOBS AT, THEIR NOT HERE BECAUSE THEY JUST DON’T EXICTS THERE ARE NO JOBS,HE SAYS HES GOING TO DO SOMETHING BUT THEN ALL HIS ACTIONS ARE SHOWING US THAT HE’S DOING NOTHING. I believe that so-called “Christians,” “conservatives” and others who were charmed by the narcissist-in-chief( not-so-eloquent as they thought and certainly one who has lied through his pearly whites for 21/2 years), might still consider voting for him come 2012, because they will be mesmerized once again, forgetting what he has not done, but most importantly, the damage that he HAS done to America and her people.

      • Patty

Gramma – I think you are referring to “independents”.

      • Lori

yes Wayne I agree with you 100% I also watched the debate to,I have never in my life watched any kind of debate because I could never understand them. But I will be 50 this year and I watched the whole thing and I to agreed with Michelle about him being a one term president. He has not done ONE THING TO HELP THE AMERICAN PEOPLE,THEY LOST THEIR JOBS,THEIR HOUSES AND THINGS JUST KEEP GETTING WORSE AND WORSE.NOW HIS PEOPLE SAY THAT THEY HAVE CREATED THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF JOBS, BUT THEY HAVE NEVER SAID WHERE THESE JOBS ARE AT AND WHAT THEY ARE BUT YET UNEMPLOYMNET IS STILL WAY UP THERE, SO YOU TELL ME WHERE ARE ALL THESE JOBS. IT’S BECAUSE THERE ARE NO JOBS OUT THERE.AND ANOTHER THING THAT I CAN’T UNDRESTAND IS THEY SAY THAT THEY WILL HAVE TO STILL CUT SOME MORE THINGS. THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HAVE BEEN CUT ENOUGH ALREADY.WE CAN’T CUT ANYTHING ANY MORE THERE IS JUST NOTHING TO CUT. I KNOW THAT THERE ARE ALOT OF PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT HAVE SAID WHY ISN’T THE PEOPLE IN CONGRESS GETTING THEIR PAY CUTOR EVEN GETTING THEIR PENSIONS CUT OR THEIR HOURS CUT,? WHY ISN’T THE FEDERAL GOVERMENT GETTING THEIR HOURS CUT OR EVEN THEIR PAY CUT? THEY ARE NO BETTER THAN THE REST OF AMERICAN PEOPLE,THEY ARE HUMAN BEINGS I THINK,EVERYONE ELSE HAS HAD TO DO SOME KIND OF CUT BACK TO MAKE ENDS MEET AND EVEN SOME OF US ARE BARELY MAKING IT AND YET CONGREES AND THE FEDERAL GOVERMENT ARE STILL SPENDING OUT OF CONTROL,AND THEY JUST KEEP DOING IT WHILE STILL THE REST OF US ARE STILL CUTTING BACK.SO WHY THE HELL DON’T THEY STOP. THEIR THE ONES THAT I GOTTEN US INTO THIS MESS YET THEY JUST KEEP SPENDING, THIS HAS TO STOP AND HAS TO STOP NOW BEFORE IT IS TO LATE.I JUST HOPE THE REST OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WAKE UP BEFORE IT IS TO LATE. AND GOD BLESS THE USA AND ALL OF OUR MILITAY,GOD PLEASE TAKE CARE OF ALL OUR MILITARY AND ALL OF THEIR FAMILYS.

This forum belongs to a bunch of Neo-Cons. There are some really sick people that participate here. Trouble is, one cannot talk to these sick individuals. Many display Paranoid Personality Disorder and it is a mental disorder very difficult to correct.

Here is a video describing you guys. Mostly a male malady.

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPw7iDnsIhI&feature=player_detailpage

As a Republican, I am very ashamed of many of you. You give the Republican Party a bad name. I hope to God you people never get control of this country again. I say again because we saw the results of the last Bush Administration. Bush was no Republican and neither are you dangerous dillusional people.

      • Bob

Not half as ashamed as we are of RINO scum such as yourself – RINO scum with their Emily Post manners and milquetoast personalities who stood by and let the toxic waste of humanity take over our country. No Gary, it is we who are ashamed of (and disgusted by) the foul RINOs such as yourself.

The idiot POTUS says of Weiner : “If it were me I would resign.” Meanwhile he is totally destroying our country and sees nothing wrong with it. Again as always his words are spoken with a forked tongue. He should heed his own words and “RESIGN” before the damage becomes pernament.
We should be out in the streets demanding his immediate removal from office. Instead we only complain on forums such as this. Time to put our words into actions and start the outcry for his immediate and pernament dismal. He should be charged with treason and dealt with accordingly. God bless and long live America !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • Carlucci

Gary Gestapo – Who said anyone participating on this blog are republicans? Your reading comprehension ability must be less than zero. Many of the posters here sound like true conservatives and/or Libertarians to me. Many people here support Drs. Ron & Rand Paul. And where are you getting that nonsense about Bush? I’ve been on this board for awhile and I’d say a majority of people here do not support the Bushes. I know I don’t and never did, and I’m from Texas.

You are the one that sounds like the personality described in that weird video link. I think you might find plenty of your own kind on boards that support big government neo con idiots like Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, Pawlenty, ad nauseum.

        Go away.

Native born Texan here…and I NEVER supported Bush. The only thing he did, in Texas, was take credit for things that began during Ann Richard’s tenure as governor and for things that Bob Bullock made happen, in the Legislature…Bob Bullock was “Presidental” material, because his love of Texas was greater than either party and he was the peacemaker and the one that brought non-partisanship to the political scene in Texas. Until he became Gov of Texas, George Bush had accomplished nothing, that his father didn’t “set in motion”. And people believed he was qualified to be President? That said, Obama is no more qualified, than he was, except at least George loves his country and Obama wants to destroy it!

      • jibbs

        Go away Jovi!

      • Michael J.

        Gary,
Poor, poor Gary. First of all you are obviously not a Republican. You don’t realize it as a result of your psychosis, but when you stated, “I hope to God you people never get control of this country again”, the “YOU PEOPLE” part of your statement is in effect, your subconscious disassociating you with the Republican Party. Betraying you as a liar who claims to be a Republican.

And secondly, Sigmund Freud would have a field day diagnosing and perhaps studying a deranged psychopath like yourself whose viewing of the video provided brought about a classic case of accusing others of the same fear and agony that beseiges your tormented soul in an effort to shed some of your own pain.

        Get some help fast!

      • Colleen

Well, you are about as Republican as Obama is a frog! As a matter of fact, I would prefer if Obama were a frog! You instead are a dem/lib/socialist (one and the same!) and a fool to boot!
        False indignation….such peity! Sheesh!

      • JeffH

Republicans? This is the 21st century you know. Republicans! LMAO!!!

      • Harold Olsen

To quote Charles Krauthammer on FNC’s “Special Report With Britt Hume” in November 2008: “George W. Bush is the most socialist president in the history of this country.”

That was true then. Obama has gone out of his way to beat Bush’s record. The big difference between Bush and Obama is Bush was just a socialist, whereas Obama is a National Socialist.

      • JeffH

Just to clarify, Bush was a socialist, Obama is a Marxist.

      • vicki

        Gary says:
“This forum belongs to a bunch of Neo-Cons. There are some really sick people that participate here.”

This forum belongs to Bob Livingston and is dedicated to a free people. Clearly not Neo-cons nor sick people. But a wonderfully obvious Ad Hominem attack by you. On behalf of all the conservatives here I accept your defeat in this debate.

Gary writes: “As a Republican, I am very ashamed of many of you. You give the Republican Party a bad name.”

I would observe that it is you who give the Republican party a bad name but there are so many of you claiming to be Republicans who are clearly not that you are not doing it alone.

      • Lisa King

Is it possible?… to believe in the reality of government conspiracy and corruption; to know that most politician are self-serving in one way or another and that most politicians are dishonest (as every human being has been at some point in their lives, to know firsthand of the sham of our current healthcare options via pharmaceutical means, hospital beaurocracy; to know that our monetary and taxing system was formulated to control the masses,
        and
to NOT be a TEA PARTY supporter?
When the child of a poor American, or an average income American or a previously wealthy American gets double pneumonia or has a serious sports accident on a Saturday evening and that child is gravely ill and needs immediate medical care but his Parent no longer can afford health insurance or medical care, what does the Tea Party propose be done with that child whose parents can no longer afford to pay the doctor or hospital?
Their are many, many good families such as this. Perhaps the person who cooked and served your food at your last restaurant meal has a family like this, or the person who serviced your lawn, or maybe a neighbor down the road-
Simply, President Obama and others before him have a innate belief that every human being deserves basic, life-saving healthcare, regardless of their circumstance. Would you like to be without that? Would anyone in the Tea Party like to be without that when their child or someone they love or know, say desperately needs an antibiotic and not a speech on freedom? And it COULD happen to YOU.
While I regard much of the information on this website, I find that a very basic humanitarian aspect of being a American, and a human being, is sadly missing from Tea Party doctrine. No one speaks directly of this with a plan to care for our people, all our people, regardless of race, creed or color, or monetary lot in life, as One Nation Under God.

I think Ralph was just being sarcastic.

    • Wayne937

Floyd, we are going to need a Republican Conservative who is willing to forget being nice when they debate Obama. Our future president will have to show a strong conviction, a love for his country, and let the people know the truth about the damage that Obama has done since he has been in office. I want some one to be able to shake their finger at Obama, and not mix any words when they explain what he had done, and explain to the American People what they will do different. I agree with Michele Bachman that Obama will be a one term president. I don’t see how anyone could be so stupid and vote for him again if they like this country.

      • DaveH

There were really only 1 and 3/4 candidates in the CNN Republican debates last night who could lead this country to the much smaller Government that we need — Ron Paul and Michele Bachmann. There would have been 2 and 3/4 if Gary Johnson hadn’t been excluded from the debates. How convenient of CNN to exclude Gary Johnson, so that there was really only 1 candidate who knows what it takes to get our Freedom back from Big Government. Gary Johnson’s platform would have given more credibility to that of Ron Paul’s. I think CNN knew that, so they excluded Gary to make it look like Ron was just a minority radical.

      • Carlucci

I was looking for the debate on Fox, but was astounded to find it on CNN. Then I wondered where Gary Johnson was. Yep, CNN just cannot have too many smart like minded people up there debating because that might wake some of the masses up. Better to sprinkle some big government RINOs in there to tell more lies.

      • Wayne937

Carlucci, don’t feel bad, this happened to me also. My wife found it on CNN about 9:30 PM. I had to stay up late to see it all.

      • Dan az

        Here we go again!

      • Harold Olsen

I don’t watch the debates because I think that, for the most part, they are a waste of time. I say that because they really do not give the candidates adequate time to give their views.

After the first debate, I watched some interviews that Hannity had with some of the candidates. On that occasion the person who most impressed me was Herman Cain. He gave clear and concise answers to all questions put to him. The person I was least impressed with was Gary Johnson. His answers were mealy-mouthed, wimpy and hesitant and I got the impression that not only did he not believe what he was saying but that he was ashamed of what he was saying.

The one person I’m hoping will get into the race is Allen West.

      • Wayne937

Harold, I don’t think it is a waste of time to watch the political debates. If you watch them enough you will eventually tell if they are lying to you, or not. That’s is how I found out that Obama was a Muslim. He made a slip of the tongue a couple of times. You can’t keep lying all the time, and keep everything straight. You forget what you have said in the past. If you tell the truth. you will most likely will always remember it.

      • DaveH

So you judge a candidate by their speaking ability? Did you vote for Obama then?

      • DaveH

Ron Paul and Gary Johnson are the only two candidates with a track record of voting against Big Government.
Keep electing mainstream Republicans and then keep wondering why Government just keeps growing.

      • Lori

YES HAROLD I WATCHED THE DEBARE ALSO AND I AGREE, THE GUY THAT WAS ASKING THE CANDIATES THE QUESTIONS DEFINTALY DID NOT GIVE ANY OF THEM ENOUGH TIME TO ANWER ANY OF THEM.IF THEIR GOING TO GIVE THEM A QUESTION THEY NEED TO GIVE THEM MORE TIME TO ANSWER THEM OR MAKE THE PROGRAM AN HOUR LONG SO THEY CAN ANSWER THEM SO THAT THE AUDIENCE WILL BE SATISFIED WITH THEIR ANSWERS.

      • texastwin827

Dave, CNN’s coverage was so bogus! The after debate commentaries were heavily “laced” with negative Democratic opinions and a few soft Republican opinions.

God forbid they have an HONEST discussion about only the candidates comments without their viewpoints!

      • http://Moreexpensive,moreunknowproblems. Lewis Munn

Voting is done mostly by computers now, and who owns the folks who set up, operate, read, and repair those computers?

Computers have no morals! They do exactly as they are told! When those who set them up are bought, what chance does the opposition have???

      • victoria blood

Wayne, You’ve just described Allen West.

    • Tom Anderson

      Dear Mr. Hardee,

Mr. Obama is simply following in the footsteps of W. Bush – nothing more nothing less. Obama, like W. Bush, got the blessing of all of the insiders.

      W. Bush expanded Federal Guvmint more than ANY PRIOR president!! And Obama learned well from Bush and is trying to do even better than Bush.

And YOU want to return a BIG GUVMINT republican to office? Aren’t you satisfied with how Obama has expanded on Bush’s tinkering? You want ANOTHER BIG GUVMINET GOP Insider in the White House?

Obama’s maternal grandmother was a CIA asset and ran funds from her Hawaiian bank to the CIA operatives in SE Asia.

Obama’s mother was also a CIA sex-playing. The CIA flew Obama’s Dad over from Kenya – HOW do you think he got here?

Obama’s parents MET and SCREWED under CIA sponsorship. When his Black Dad disserted him and his Mommy, the CIA arranged for her to screw his new Indonesian Dad. Obama’s Indonesian Dad was the key CIA operative to fight against the attempted commie takeover in Indonesia.

Obama is the specifically selected by our Military Industrial Complex just like Daddy Bush and Bush Junior were – - they are all CIA assets or actual employees.

No guvmint official can divulge ANY prior information about Obama – it violates our National Security Laws since he was a CIA asset. We will NEVER see a proper Birth Certificate since they are all CIA forgeries.

And you want to install ANOTHER CIA GOPer into the White House?

      • Nancy

Tom Anderson, did you have you head in a cloud while George Bush was President, a rebublican President cannot do anything when they have a democratic congress and a democratic congress that hates him. A lot of thses hateful nuts are still in congress. They are not interested in this country, it is apparent they are interested in their agenda, winning just to get even. Lets take Barney Frank, he was responsible for the mortgage failure; not Bush. When did you ever hear the truth about that.

      • DaveH

Bush could have used his veto powers. He didn’t.

      • Harold Olsen

Plus Congress, who has control of the money, was Democrat controlled in the beginning and they gave Bush every cent he asked for. It’s one of the reasons the left blames Bush for the economy and won’t accept any of the blame themselves. But then, the left never accepts responsibility for anything. It’s always someone else’s fault. Yet, they love taking credit for things they had little or nothing to do with.

      • Wayne937

DaveH, Congress had the check book. How do you know, maybe Congress was going to withhold money and not let Bush have it until they got the money they wanted. I don’t trust the Communist Democrats that are currently in Congress. They are dirty, and they play dirty toward the Republicans. It is like when the Democrat barred the Republican from debating in the health care bill.

      • DaveH

Reagan wouldn’t have let them push him around.

      • steve in AZ

        Nancy-

Bush rammed the deliberately mis-named Patriot Act through a “Congress that hated him”. I too voted for him. Worst vote I ever cast, but it was him or the blatant left. How could he get that done if the Congress and he did not have their marching orders from the shadow government.

He too was a traitor to our country’s principles. Time to let your love and devotion for him die. It was hard for me,too.

      • sybucket

A lot of you really need to go back and read your history…..As bad as the Patriot Act is, it was passed as a result of 911, in panic, by a congtrss that was desperate to show the country they were doing something to combat terrorsim. It had an experation date of, what, 3 weeks ago? Now if you really want to point fingers you may now do so at the Democrats for re-uppingit. THAT’s the real crime!

      • Harold Olsen

I’ve never liked Bush, even though I voted for him twice. It was a matter of voting for the lesser of two evils, something I will never do again. All that is accomplished is evil wins. If I do not believe in a candidate, he won’t get my vote. If I don’t like who the GOP anoints this time, I’ll either vote third party or write someone in, even though I know they won’t have a chance to win.

      • texastwin827

Sybucket…your point about expiration? It was renewed

      • Carlucci

Nancy – Tom Anderson has hit the nail on the head. People like you who support and defend people like the Bushes are a big reason why we are in the mess we are in. “Party loyalty” is killing America. Wake up.

      • DaveH

        Steve,
Please don’t throw away any more of your votes on the lesser of two evils, which is still just evil. When we vote for Big Government candidates because we are afraid that a Biggger Government candidate will get in, we just give our stamp of approval to Big Government. Voting for the lesser of two evils has allowed the Republicans to put up candidates who don’t really want to shrink the Government. If you insist on voting for Republicans, then at least let the Republican party know that you are going to withhold your votes until they can put up candidates who legitimately want to shrink Government.

I agree, Nancy. We can include Barney Frank, who likes weiners, Charles Rangel who is a tax cheat, Maxwell Waters, and another Black African American who made the statement, we make up the rules as we go along, Chris Dodd who received some sweet hart deals from Wachovia Bank, Nancy Pelosi who made the statement wait until the health bill passes and we’ll see what’s in it. The list of retarded Communist Democrats goes on, and one, to many to enumerate. Get rid of people like this and we’ll be able to get our country back. Those moron Zombies who follow Obama like he is the one who pays their salery.

      • Tom Anderson

        Dear Nancy,

I am sorry to dissillusion you, but Obama and Bush are cut from the same cloth. They both worked for the same guys and belonged to the same clubs.

Any apparent “differences” between them are just theatrical arts planned for YOUR benefit. And it is clear that you have fallen for their skilled stage-craft.

Obama and W. Bush swap spit on a regular basis.

Laura Bush is a life-long Democrat.

It isn’t about DEMO or GOP haven’t you grasped that they are ALL the same?

And I repeat – W. Bush expanded Federal Guvmint more than any prior president – PLEASE prove me wrong about THAT!

You just want more of the same – another W. Bush = Obama.

      • Michael J.

        Tom Anderson,
And your sources for this information are?

      • Tom Anderson

You don’t care enough to look it up yourself?

How did a “free-spirit” white girl from the heartland meet and screw a confirmed Black Commie from Kenya in Hawaii and THEN the KEY anti-commie from Indonesia? CIA fingerprints ALL over it. Also, how does his maternal grandmother become VP of a bank in Hawaii (she has NO qualifications for the job other than her CIA contacts).

What in the hell do you think Obama and his Mommy were doing in Pakistan? What is your education level?

        Go read some history!

        Who has his head where?

Barney Frank and W. Bush are girlfriends.

      • Patty

Don’t know how reliable the source, here you go:http://www.lewrockwell.com/orig11/madsen1.1.1.html
PS Michael, Who did your homework for you in school?
PPS Tom, it is polite to post your sources when in a debate to give validity to your argument.

      • Tom Anderson

        Dear Patty,

I stand corrected and recognize that I have been upbraided by someone who, obviously, is much smarter, politer, erudite and discrete than I am. I apologize and promise NEVER to do it again!

Altho not a justification, my frustration at the lack understanding of such basic facts as Obama’s (and Mommy, and GrandMommy) intimate CIA connections frustrates me to the point that I become less polite than I should. EVERYONE on these posts should know of Obama’s long and intimate association with the CIA – Mommy, Daddy and GrandMommy too.

Thank you for your kind and informed response.

I have no facts to back this, but I feel confident that Daddy Bush and Obama worked TOGETHER at the CIA – - Bush Jnr, certainly, must have been involved also.

And some of these readers REALLY believe that there is any difference between Bush et. al. and Obama? – - All of that gang are dues paying members of the MIC

      • Patty

Tom A – And W. Bush and Osama Bin Laden played together at Kennebunkport. I read that somewhere. Can’t validate.

      • Patty

OK. My turn to be under informed. What is MIC?

      • Patty

Tom A – Not to worry. I FEEL your frustration! Conservatives have feelings to despite the liberal mantra of wanting to kill off old people and kick sick kids out of hospitals. Maybe you should inform the liberals posting on this site how much you enjoy your healthcare system.

All we can do is the V O T E!!!!!!!! Congress has not, does not and will not do its job. If it did we would not have all the czars, the illegal agencies making laws, it should as the fathers of the past stand for truth. We now have career politicians who do not care one iota about the US, just their greed and power. I worry but I know in the end I am not the judge, God will take to task all those who injure and put the people to slavery. I pray everyday for just one person who will stand for the TRUTH. Obama hates truth and he joins in with the Father of all lies Satan.

      • Wayne937

Phyllis, when the truth finally comes out, Obama wlll be like a coachroach, running and looking for the dark areas to hide himself in.

      • Harold Olsen

You’re forgetting something. Cockroaches alway survive the worst disasters. The only way to get rid of them is to stomp on them.

      • Patty

Better get out my square and pointy toed cowboyboots. Fits well in corners.

    • terry

morning to you sir, just one thing for you and really nothing else. so here’s my two cents worth. it doesn’t matter which party we have running the show they are all cut from some cloth from another planet.
      we’ve been sold out period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • Harold Olsen

To quote an overused saying: “Democrat or Republican. Two sides of the same coin. They are interchangeable.”

      • Al Sieber

terry, I believe that the election has already been decided.

    • eddie47d

Floyd; I see you are in your own spin zone or haven’t the Republicans woke up and realized that yet. The author made it clear that the Republicans don’t want a civil discourse. That is an oxymoron;Republican/Civil discourse. The opposing “team” can witness lies everyday right here and on the Tellie from the right. So how about manning up to reality. The Democrats know they are not perfect, why do you insist that you are?

      • Bob

Civil discourse is only applicable when discussing things with people who are not devoted to destroying everything good and decent. When “discussing” things with lieberals, we are dealing with the toxic waste of humanity – the spiritual heirs of Hitler, Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot. There is no reason to be civil to lieberals because lieberals are all liars, thieves, parasites, sodomites, and just run-of-the-mill scum. I would no more have civil discourse with a lieberal than I would have civil discourse with someone who was trying to murder my family.

      • eddie47d

Stop flattering yourself Bob for it is time for you to check back into the funny farm. LOL

    • sid

don’t forget, 46% of the population, DOESN’T pay income tax. those “FREELOADERS”, will vote for barry. many teachers, firemen, and police, who are conservative, will vote union!!!so it is possible, that barry will be re-elected, but this time, it will be a conservative congress, and all barry will do, is veto, unless he smartens up, like billy!!!most of the liberal votes, will come from your hoovervilles(nyc, chi, la, etc). while the conservative vote, is spread across the country, thus you will have more, house, and senate conservatives. being an independent, i don’t care for the republicans, but i despise the socialists!!! but everyday, TEA, is looking like the right thing!!!

    • Ron

Where was all this outrage when Bush was messing things up? Were we a true democracy during the Bush years or were we a hypocrisy disguised as a democracy. There is no one party or person fully responsible for the failure of the economy. Maybe Wall Street and congress because republicans did not want regulations and democrats did not fight hard enough for them. Just like democrats never fight hard for much of anything. But this is our congress at work. It matters not who is in office unless we have term limits on congress as a start. No one dem or repub should be allowed to become a professional politician. You may say President Obama is the cause of this mess I may say it was President Bush. But as long as we argue and call each other commie and fascist the professional politicians and the super rich (Trumps, Koch’s. Ect) will continue to dictate the terms. Yes this is still the greatest Nation in the world and will remain so for as long as there is life on this planet. We are going through some rough times right now but we have gone through rough times befor. We always overcome. This is why American end with I Can.
