barry is spoon feeding us communism one bite at a time. his healthcare bill is more on people control and tax than in the interest of keeping people healthy. he not only is taking care of the illegals, he is giving the insurance companies a reason to raise their rates, which he lied when saying the bill would result in lower premiums. insurance companies and ones like aarp had their hands in the cookie jar and were rewarded with stimulus money for backing barry on this. this bill should be trashed and in the meantime fix the problems with meducare abd leave it alone it was doing just fine with the exception of the fraud by the doctors themselves and the hospitals. aplly tort reform and the ability to buy insurance across state lines. the liberal attorneys won’t like this, but who really cares what they like.

And, not unlike a highly-placed, paranoid sycophant, Queen Nancy Pelosi dared to say that ‘we have to pass this legislation to see what’s in it.’ The same woman who thinks she rates flying on an Air Force jet (with family and friends and LOTS of booze paid for by the American people) wants us to believe that she has both feet in the real world. Did she EVER have both feet in the real world?
It’s sad that truly talented people like H L Mencken and Mark Twain didn’t live longer. Their comments regarding America’s non-leadership would curl the hair of our non-leaders in Washington. That is, if they could read. Or if they gave a damn.
The solution is to [in the words of those who care so much about us - whether we like it or not] ABORT Mr. Obama’s healthcare SCAM. You NEVER outgrow your need for CHOICE, people.

The US Chamber of Commerce is not like your local chamber.The members in the US chamber are major banks, big oil, China, France and a host of other foreign countries.Of course they don’t give a rip about Americans being healthy.

They have not addressed anything that has to do with the increase of health care. They have attacked business, states and the public in general with new “taxes” that may or may not balance budgets … that is disputable. However, state, business, and public insurance is already on the increase. They have not sorted out what is the underlying reason for high insurance: pharma and their high costs for drugs – drugs based on natural products that they converted to something they can patent and tack on big dollars. Making claims that are not totally true and side effects that require more drugs. The natural methods are under constant attack, not only by FDA but now congress as well as pharma. Of course it is all funded by Pharma with their billions and maybe trillions of dollars of profit. They have not done anything with tort reform either … how can you attack you fellow lawyers and why would you. All of which raises health costs in and out of hospitals. They want to blame insurance companies but it is the laws that create claims that drive up insurance costs. Claims based on negligence (that is fine) claims based on suing to sue … give me a break.

The so called health care bill has nothing to do with healthcare . It is about control. The reason medical treatments are so sky high is because taxpayers are subsidizing the medical proffession , and lawyers sue when their clients do not get well or die . We need tort reform and limited payouts to the unhealthy .Get our politicians out of the doctors way . When you need medical assistance , do you run to your local politician first???? Deal with your doctor or hospital administrator, screw the politicians !!!

Obamacare is one of those core issues that can help to clearly define where a person stands on the Liberty vs Slavery scale. Anyone who has read and/or understands the principles of the new law realizes that it is an unconstitutional usurpation by the federal government, that is, another pillar of slavery. Any Congressman who voted for Obamacare voted to help the government enslave citizens. Hopefully, those who voted against it have enough understanding of the basic issues so that they will vote against other enslavement bills also. And , of course, many of the Congressmen who voted against it do not understand liberty, and will vote inconsistently on other bills affecting freedom.

The lies that were told to get this thing passed in the first place should be reason enough to impeach a few congress people.

The split of Americans who favor and oppose the new health care law is about half and half. Of those who oppose the new law there is a significant chunk who oppose it because it does not go far enough in positive change to our health care system. Non-partisan analysis says that the new law will reduce the deficite over time.

Those who oppose the law apparently want to increase or maintain the deficite, reopen the “doughnut hole” for seniors perscription drugs, through young adults off of their parents insurance plans, refuse coverage for people with pre-existing conditions, etc.

“No act will stop lawmakers from fulfilling their duties as elected officials.” Now that’s what is supposed to happen. Don’t get me wrong. What happened to Representative Giffords was a tragic incident, but it shouldn’t hold up progress on the work our government has to do. A good leader doesn’t allow his personal feelings or beliefs to interfere with his good judgement. Sounds like John Boehner believes the same way. The Obama bin Laden Care bill is back on the chopping block. I hope that they overturn this piece of gross negligence forced on us by this administration. It is a violation of the Commerce Clause of the Constitution. He also said, “Our aim will be to give government back to the people.” Yes, the vigilance to ensure that government remains our servants and not our masters. A move in the right direction and a victory for “We The People.” Not like what some, not all, liberals say on this site. Keep up the good fight John, fellow patriot! FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!
