Breast Cancer Patients Could Benefit From Natural Supplements

October 20, 2010 by

Breast cancer patients could benefit from natural supplementsMore than 190,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in a given year, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Along with their regular treatment, these patients may benefit from taking nutritional supplements as scientists at Indiana University and Methodist Research Institute recently discovered a natural formula could help these women.

Doctor Daniel Sliva, the lead investigator, said that "the formula we studied inhibits growth of highly metastatic human breast cancer cells, and suppresses metastatic potential of these cells."

The natural formula that was created combines phytonutrients, antioxidants and botanically enhanced medicinal mushrooms. The scientists were able to identify specific genes that allow the growth of breast cancer cells and studied the affect that these nutritional supplements could have on patients who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.

In their findings, the researchers concluded that this natural formula can halt the cancer metastasis process. This process includes cell migration, cell invasion and cell adhesion, which all contribute to breast cancer progression.

The scientists also noted that the supplement did not have any side effects. Although further research is needed, doctors are hopeful that this may be an encouraging discovery for breast cancer patients.

Tsk tsk…always a supplement. Why not just eat correctly? Instead the majority of people just blindly follow the government’s recommendations and stick to the SAD (standard American diet).

The powerful beef and dairy industries contribute heavily to the politicians. So…you are being told what to eat. To understand, visit http://www.ravelifestyle.info where you can watch samples of the DVDs. I have the Rave book and Eating DVD. Mind-blowing!
