The Politician

October 18, 2010 by

The Politician

"You have a choice between the natural stability of gold and the honesty and intelligence of the members of government. And with all due respect for those gentlemen, I advise you, as long as the capitalist system lasts, vote for gold." –George Bernard Shaw.

I have written to you in the past that we must know the mind of government or pay a huge price and perhaps pay with our lives. Ask the people of World War II Germany.

They didn’t think that the National Socialists would be too bad. Then they thought that things would get better. Then they lost everything, and many lost their lives.

The U.S. today is a fascist state no different from Nazi Germany. The only thing missing is the swastika and the jackboots. American fascism is far advanced from the German National Socialists.

The State has had many years to build on the Nazi state. The machinery is fine tuned and the propaganda is far, far advanced over Herr Goebbels. This means that American fascism can advance its agenda much further without detection.

But our subject today is the politician. Moreover it is about the mentality of the politician/bureaucrat and the fringe big business and the investment bankers. The point is, if we know the mind of the politician, we know all the above. They are all in “the club.”

Right off purge the thought that “your elected representatives” are yours. They belong to the government. The government owns them and the government pays them. They don’t vote for you. They vote for the government.

One thing here, we are talking about politicians, not statesmen. Dr. Ron Paul (R-Texas) is the only statesman in Washington as far as I know.

What we’re about to do is describe and define the mentality of the American politician. We will profile them so that in the future we can read, decipher and know their minds.

Of course, it really is simple. If we believe the opposite of what they say (as I have taught my children) we will be on terra firma and we can know their Ponzi mentality and their despicable demeanor.

Politicians, bureaucrats, et al are wordsmiths. They twist words that sound good to us but lead to opposite conclusions. This semantic trickery is used in everything and in every proposed legislation.

Many are lawyers, and doublethink legalese is their forte. Their political life is all about deception. This is their cover so that they hide the fact that they work for the government.

I should now go back to explain the source of this evil stealth empire with moral rot that has become endemic. The source of this crescendo of total moral breakdown is the paper money syndrome.

Paper money fiat is directly the foundation of Machiavellian mentality. Politicians, et al have a defective gene which draws them toward politics and they feed on fiat no different from a cow feeding on grass. The politicians’ fiat mentality can be described as a parasite that attracts other parasites of like mind.

The fiat (paper money) mentality is rot and decay that attracts likes because they can’t survive independently as creators of wealth. They are destroyers and consumers of wealth. They love the politics of envy, they are the epitome of greed, selfishness, laziness and physical dependence on authoritarianism. They are vipers who eat their young. A police state is their ultimate dream.

They protect the power elite and they want power over the people at the people’s expense. They want the world in a concentration camp. They harbor a perfect hate for humanity and they would love the Gestapo. You remember, of course, that they almost unanimously passed (rubber stamped) the Homeland Security Act and the USA PATRIOT Act which police the American people.

They have not objected to turning America into a national concentration camp.

Politicians don’t know the truth from a lie and they live it. They live and breathe deception. The rule of law is for the peasants. Force should be used along with the mass murder of war if necessary. Tyranny is a prerogative of power.

Politicians want the political state in which they have the status of untouchables. Yes, politicians have the same psyche and privilege the world over, but at this point in history greed is more contained outside the U.S.

Politicians want to regulate everybody who is not in “the club.” They act as if they despise the people and reserve for themselves privilege. They are perpetually embittered at the producers and creators of wealth. They want to pile on horrendous taxes as perfectly wished by the bureaucracy.

They justify everything in their behalf. They are the frontline of a vindictive power elite culture, the worst in world history. Not a politician alive can understand that their orgy of oppression of the public and prestige and privilege for themselves is a house of cards built upon the quicksand of fiat money. They couldn’t possibly care about the generations yet unborn.

The truth is anathema!

Double jeopardy is a cruel joke. Incarceration without charge and trial is unannounced and the system drunk on the blood of the unsuspecting public will not admit it.

U.S. courts and Federal judges (U.S. prosecuting attorneys) have become Star Chambers. U.S. citizens cannot file criminal charges in the Federal system. The only judges to ever get prosecuted are the few who rule for the people and the Constitution.

More people are arrested and in jail in the U.S. than in the rest of the world which doesn’t have habeas corpus. Bush negated habeas corpus and it was reinstated for public consumption.

Everything in the U.S. is for sale. When will Americans ever discover that the foxes are in charge of the henhouse and that politicians are in secret league with the system like a wolf pack devouring the population?

The public has been trained to think in terms of what is legal and what is illegal. The politicians and their elite bosses operate above the law and outside the law. They place themselves outside the law, just as in Obamacare they placed themselves outside their health legislation. This is contempt for the people.

Their Achilles heel is that they all have a paper money mentality, the paper money syndrome. They are infected with rot which makes them believe that this inflated myth will go on forever with perfect bliss for themselves with privilege.

Politicians hate gold because their whole purpose is to stay in office, and fiat paper money is perfect for them. Have you ever heard any politician or bureaucrat mention gold in a positive way… other than Paul?

But thank God some Americans are waking up. They can see that higher and higher prices translate into cheaper paper money. No problem to see who loses in the paper money game.

At least some Americans are beginning to see that the Emperor has no clothes and that they see a culture within a culture. Obama a Muslim? The five pointed red star is an esoteric Muslim Order. Obama is not alone. Follow the trail of the serpent!

Politicians, bureaucrats, judges and their friends are untouchables. They are a parasite culture which produces nothing but organized crime at the highest levels.

Parasites in time consume their host. This is an organic phenomena that applies to criminal politics.

The saturation point is coming and it can’t be stopped. Sociopathic political behavior self destructs over time. Satan rends himself. Ethics and decency in politics are anathema. A politician is not a statesman and a statesman is not a politician.

Politics is power and politics creates predators. Money has surpassed self worth and dignity. Politics in America is incest with the government. “Just show me the money.”

Do we hear politicians warning Americans that the money creators (quantitative easing) are destroying their savings, their retirement and their purchasing power, as well as that of future generations?

The system is now beyond resolution. We are in the final stages of economic, social and moral collapse.

Investment banks have made billions while destroying America. They create financial products that are designed to fail, market them to the unsuspecting and then take short positions against them. They are a show-me-the-money culture and the system protects them in their financial crimes. The giant real estate collapse is their work.

The word “conspiracy” is an establishment word to imprison multitudes of non-violent people (who are not in favor of the power structure) and confiscate their property outright without due process and under a feigned color of law. The politicians know this.

This is no different from the old Star Chamber motivated by the word “treason” (today it is “conspiracy.”) Then came the thumb screw and the rack to extract confession and an excuse to hang the victim. So what’s the difference today?

There are clearly privileged classes in America; those in political power backed by illegal police power. They act against the people outside the law and the Constitution. My friends, it has become so obvious.

While we slept the political regime has shifted the “burden of proof” to the defendant. One is entrapped, charged and prosecuted under Merchant Law without his knowledge. This is the new democracy. Democracy is rule of the rabble by the elite.

The possibility of reform has passed. The point of saturation of the full measure of disgust is near. Sparks can trigger revolution.

Morality has collapsed. Politicians, Federal judges and prosecutors will eat their young for fiat money, power and aggrandizement. They all have a lawyer Ponzi mentality.

Scripture condemns scribes, lawyers and hypocrites: “Woe unto you scribes, Pharisees, and hypocrites…”Mat. 23.13, 27; Luke11.42,44.

Shakespeare in King Henry VI, pt ii, Act IV Scene 2, line 72: “The first thing we do, let’s kill all the lawyers.”

Corporations have no rights, therefore corporate officers have no rights. A corporate person can be imprisoned with no limit, even without charge or habeas corpus, denied the right to appeal, denied counsel, denied the use of one’s own funds for defense or other purposes. The corporate officer can then be left in jail to die because he worked for a corporation. Next will be torture and denial of medical care.

John Stuart Mills wrote in his On Liberty in 1859, “let us not flatter ourselves that we are yet free from the stain of legal persecution.” Oxford World Classics pp 34, 1998 edition.

The soul of America has been penetrated with toxic greed. Political rigor mortis is everywhere. The State is collapsing of its own corruption.

Politicians beware, you “elected” vipers!

There needs to be a new Oath of Office for political office which reads “I solemly swear to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America and serve the best interest of the American People, understanding that if I fail to do so I will be held to account for Treason and if convicted, be subject by a jury of my peers, to be put to death. So Help Me God.”

Corporatin are run by their boards, which are usually alot of former or wanna be government dinks. Take wal-mart, the Clinton admininastation rejects as advisors even UN Hillary, has sat on that board. Look who has been on the Wall Street boards. Tax cheats like Geithner, Daschle, and other dumocrap clowns. These are your corpation advisors, who set the CEO salaries, cut and Paste you need to see who is on the boards and no with we have the unions slugs on the board.

    • Harry Buttle

Yikes! No Republicans ever serve on corporate boards? How likely is that?

  • Henry Ledbetter

Amen to the article. Our Lord said that we are in the world but for those that truly know Him, we are not be like the world. Light has come into the world but sad to say many that are now in control love the darkness more than the light. The Lord gave man dominion over the earth and all therein including the animals; however, that truth has been so twisted that animals become more important than humans. To them eagle eggs are protected with the reality of many years in prison for those that disturb them but it is legal to kill a baby in its mother’s womb. Man is the only creation that is made special enough to be created in the image of God but he is not God and never will be. Some like George Soros and other progressives think they are God and in his case, he openly admits to thinking this way. I agree with God: He calls them fools. Henry

    • eddie47d

If no one protects the dwindling populations of creatures then no one wins. Do you want to be the last person to kill an animal species off? We are getting nearer to that day and I’m sure God wouldn’t approve of that either. Mankind is growing and his other creatures are becoming as rare as those fabled cities of gold. That is hardly animal worship.

      • Craig

Eddie you are so clueless. We are not getting closer to killing of all the species. Since the dawn of time 95% of all species that lived on this planet have gone extinct. And guess what? Everything is still here and doing fine. Fact is, one species dies out another comes to exploit its station in life. That is a fact. You liberals are always crying wolf and your doomsday predictions never come true.

      • JeffH

Craig, it’s a fact that the hunters, fishermen and outdoorsmen are the true conservationists despite the selfish, self absorbed and phony environmentalists.

      • JeffH

…should have added for wildlife and habitat…

      • http://?? Joe H.

        JeffH,
Perhaps the phoney enviros should go extinct!!!

      • eddie47d

Jeff: What does that have to do with anything? Population growth is determining whether a species lives or dies. That means less for hunters and fishermen or can’t you grasp that?

      • Claire

JeffH– And I am behind you 100% regarding your comments.

      • JeffH

fast eddie, again you’re behind the learning curve here. You talk about animal species and extinction…look at Ducks Unlimited who is the world’s leader in wetlands and waterfowl conservation. Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America’s waterfowl. These habitats also benefit other wildlife and people, all of the people…not just hunters

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Whitetail Foundation, Mule Deer Foundation, Pheasants Forever, Quail Unlimited, etc. etc. just to name some of them.

These are all organizations supported and funded by outdoorsmen, hunters and fishermen, that study, enhance and provide for the growth success of herds and flocks of wildlife across the nation and around the world. They are not selfish environmental groups, they are true coservationists and are more responsible for saving wildlife from extinction than all the environmental groups combined.

      • JeffH

fast eddie, the bottom line is that despite the selfish environmentalist, wildlife numbers have prospered thanks to the outdoorsman, hunters and fishermen. You see, we realized almost a hundred years ago that unless we gave something back, we’d never be able to hunt and fish and enjoy the outdoors like we do today..

      • eddie47d

Now that’s a real brainy statement;” 95% have gone extinct but they are still here”You are clueless of what mankind is doing to animal populations or even plant species. Evolution is over for many lifetimes ahead and what goes extinct now will be gone forever. You ought to be charged with reckless endangerment.

      • Claire

eddie47d–There are good fishermen, hunters, and numerous people in the United States that DO care for the wildlife and environment. Not all of them are evil. BTW–when the government pays farmers NOT to farm their ground, why aren’t trees planted to bring back habitat for animals? There are a lot of things that could be done. Depending on some of the so-called radical environmentalists certainly is not the answer. What about PETA–that filthy organization. They believe in killing dogs and cats rather than have them domesticated and live in good homes. Exhibitors at dogs show have to keep an eye of their show dogs. PETA has gone to numerous shows and released the animals! And guess what!! A lot of them were killed on the nearby interstates and roads. My point is that some of these “wonderful environmentalists” are NOT the do-gooders they claim to be.

      • JC

Just a thought eddie…if you want to understand something a little better take a course. Most municipalities offer hunter education….you’d learn a lot about conservation there.

      • Claire

Talking about killing dogs and cats makes me think of Brady who is running for governor of Illinois. He presented a bill to have dogs and cats put in the same room together and killed by auto exhaust. When people got in an uproar about it, he quickly gave the bill to one of his buddies. The bill has been tabled. If Brady had any sense he should have pulled the bill and done away with it. Now Brady’s mother is having a hissy fit because Quinn has used this in ads. She should have expected this to happen. She says it is not “fair.” She should know that anything goes in politics. Dog eat dog. Pardon the pun.

      • Kate8

Claire – Now we’re having whackos telling us we have to keep our cats indoors so they don’t kill birds. They’re trying to criminalize cats killing birds!

While I love birds, and have saved many from the jaws of my cats, it’s just what God created cats to do. Has to do with the food chain, I guess. Besides, I haven’t noticed a decrease in birds at all!

My cats hate the GMO catfood, so they catch their own.

Interestingly, they oppose hunting mountain lions, and don’t seem to care about the people, including children, who’ve been killed by the big cats. That’s not surprising (since they consider humans to be of lesser value than other species), but I guess they don’t care about the small animals eaten by cougars either.

With libs, it seems that whatever it is that we do, we have to be stopped. We can’t, we can’t, we can’t. They’re making life miserable, and I wish they’d go back to their city ‘burbs and leave us alone!

      • JeffH

Claire, like you, I love dogs because I was raised with them. Never had much use for cats although they seem to accept me just fine, but most animals can sense who to trust or not. Peta and the Humane Society, well let’s just say they are more political machines and a whole lot less about being humane. Their records have been widley exposed as in-humane.

Kate8, knowing the area you live around and of course the area where my folks used to live over by N San Juan on Moonshine Road, they’ve seen the mountain lions before and people in the area were losing their pets too.

      • Claire

Kate8 and JeffH–There are a lot of crazies out theree. Here in this area we have to keep an eye on our pets– No racism intended but there are whites and blacks that go around stealing dogs from backyards and using them for “bait” for their pitbulls. In Illinois there are a lot of dogfighting rings. Sure wish the police would catch more of these rotten characters but rumor has it that the police kind of shrug it off and say at least these lowlife people are killing dogs, not people. To me, that is a “cop-out.”
Some kids took an old lady’s dog out of her backyard, tied it to a telephone pole and let a pitbull go after it. Of course it was killed. Dogfighting here is as rampant as the meth labs. Disgusting, if I were a judge and any of these creeps came into my courtroom I would send them away for years. The Michael Vick incident was deplorable, I don’t give a damn how good of a ballplayer he may be, this is cruelty in one of the worst forms. These type of people do not change. I don’t care “how” they grew up, a person still has a choice in life–to be a decent human being or a lowlife. If I were a cop, I would go after them. No holds barred.

sook young–It is Bill Brady–he is a Republican running for the Governor of Illinois against the current governor Pat quinn who is a Democrat. I really do not like either of them. There is a Green Party candidate named Rich Whitney that is running also. As usual, not much to pick from here in Illinois.

      • Craig

Eddie you lied I never said the 95% of species HAVE lived on this planet are still here. You are a liar. Learn to read Beavis. All you libs, all have the same reading comprehension problem. Maybe that is why you all are as dumb as rocks.

The bill was long to close loopholes through which corporations could wiggle. Judging by the reaction to it, that effort was quite successful.

I appreciate the parallels to National Socialism we may see in the U.S. However, George Bernard Shaw, though he wrote interesting plays, was into eugenics and Fabian Socialism, and believed in extermination of people who didn’t meet his definition of intelligence.

    • s c

Allan, most Americans aren’t familiar with Shaw or Fabianism. The main reason for that is because Ameica has ‘the best education system that money
can buy.’ Isn’t it curious that we were hosed via a prez who supports the Planned Parenthood/abortion cabal, but he just can’t find the time to repudiate Margaret Sanger?
It’s enough to wonder just how black someone has to be to REALLY care about one’s brothers and sisters. Even Jesse Jackson hasn’t stepped forward to wrestle with that one. Go figure. Perhaps playing the race card is more of a double-edged sword than some well-known, race-baiting, hypocritical icons dare to ponder. And then there’s The Anointed One.

      • http://ahalbert@smart-technology.net Allan Halbert

I hear you. It really saddens me to see people such as Jesse Jackson and Barack Obama keep black people feeling victimized and entitled…a most powerful and destructive drug. Elijah Mohammed got half of it figured out by telling blacks they can be successful; unfortunately few black leaders have put that together with the idea that it is counterproductive to resent whites…while the Progressive, white-guilters aid and abet these attitudes for their political gain.

  • Anikó

Mr. Livingston, I don’t know why is exaggeration needed to make a point?

If we would have fascism you could not have written and even less publish this article for many other hot-heads to read them. We also could not have Rush Limbaugh, Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck or the Weekly Standard or the National Review for public consumption.

I am not saying that it’s not bad and that the danger of an actual fascism is not around the corner if we are no vigilant and don’t try to educate the deluded into resisting laws that are bad for the nation, but if we still have freedom of speech and assembly, we can control our elected officials to do the will of the people.

We are facing an election and conservative TEA party candidates (or at least those who support their ideology) are winning in the polls. Whether they will win or not is up to the informed voter. So, the first step is to educate the voter. Second step will be to vigilantly watch the elected to do what they promised and took the oath of office. WE the people have to hold a Sword of Damocles over their heads and not allow them to get away even with the smallest infraction from the Constitution.

Economically we still are not exactly finished as you posit it. Lower taxes for the job creators, ease up on regulations, curtail the power of Communist unions and watch how quickly we can recover.

“Politicians”, as you describe them, are the necessary “evil” of a representative Republic’s needs and they will tend to eventually feel too comfortable in their positions, but that can only happen if we revert to become the “sleeping giant” after election”.

You are way too negative and you pick on the few who are hopelessly corrupted. Those can be dealt with as long as you have educated voters.

    • bruce d.

Aniko I believe Bob is right that we do have Fascism right now. You have the better argument though as I believe that what you are saying is true also. You have the right attitude and there is a possibility that we can turn things around. Keep up the good work.

    • Shasta

i disagree with you, unfortunately some of the voters out there dont know (excuse the term) shit from shineola……..therefore scare tatics as you put it, is the only way to get thru to them. they cannot see past the wall in front of them, when you have not thinking power, yet you are allowed to mark that ballot, what other choice do we have? can you get thru to the ignorant? remember, you cannot educate the unwilling
      PEACE

  • CutnPaste

You are correct, Bruce. Corporations own our representatives and the Supreme Court (remember Citizens United which gives corporations the right to buy elections). Even the Tea Party is bought and paid for by corporations. We need to open our eyes and see who the enemy really is. It’s not the government, but corporations, that are responsible for sending jobs overseas, turning Wall Street into a gambling casino, profiting from our wars in the Middle East, and advocating that the solution to our economic situation is to cut back on social programs (Medicare, Medicaid, health care reform, minimum wage, etc.) Its easier to accomplish their goals by turning people against one another. Hence, the anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim, racist, sexist rhetoric. History will record that the corporate elite made fools of us all while they went to the bank to deposit their elicit profits. It’s sad.

    • http://ahalbert@smart-technology.net Allan Halbert

No one denies there are eploitative folks in large businesses. But guess what, they’re in all walks of life, government, small businesses environmental and scientific organizations, unions, you name it. Anywhere people are. Your post sounds like a Marxist to me.

      • CutnPaste

Yes, Allan, greed and corruption exist in all walks of life, but those with the most money have the greatest opportunity to fix the system so it works for them and they can do the most damage to others.

      • eddie47d

You get it, from that perspective.

      • http://ahalbert@smart-technology.net Allan Halbert

In this worldview, you have to spend the majority of your time resenting those who are prettier than you, richer than you, smarter than you, better-liked than you, etc. What a lousy model for children!

This attitude not only will wreck a country, it will wreck a person. It assumes a rich person can’t be good, which is the corollary to assuming that poor people can’t be bad.

People accomplish more when they focus on their own accountability. You get to make a choice.

America in large part ascended because of the opportunity to become wealthy. Take that away, and you remove a source of inspiration that government can never provide.

      • Kate8

        Allan Halbert, Very well said.

That always has been what made America great, and what attracted so many people here from places where they had no hope of anything better.

Now, the libs want to make us the same as all the places everyone’s been trying to escape.

    • Soldier

The TEA PARTY EXPRESS is bought and paid for as a corporate hack entity. However, many tea parties are purely grass roots.

    • bruce d.

I disagree with you totally on this CutnPaste. Many politicians you cannot even talk to them unless you donate to their campaign. I tried for some time years ago to talk to Alcee Hastings. The secretary says she will diliver the message. When I insisted a second or third in command called me back. Politicians are over the corporations but encourage the bribary for what they consider to be access time to them personally.
Also the Tea Party is a Grass Roots movement that is constantly slandered by the left. So where does that put you CutnPaste.

      • CutnPaste

Bruce D., at this point the entire political system is contaminatned. Both bribe givers (large corporations and their lobbyists) and bribe takers (politicians) are at fault. The system needs a complete overall and rigorous campaign finance reform would be a good start.

As for the Tea Party, while proponents would like to believe it’s a grass roots movement, this analysis gives an excellent summary of where the money is actually coming from: “Right-wing billionaires exposed as financing Tea Party movement” (http://www.pickledpolitics.com/archives/9924).

      • eddie47d

Most Tea Party folks are well meaning and shouldn’t be faulted for their patriotism and concern. Unfortunetely there is big money and “secret agendas ” behind those who are running the show. The Tea Party should not be stopped but the behind the scenes leaders need to be exposed and be made accountable.

      • Craig

Does that same accountability go for the chocolate Marxist as well? That clown has more shadiness following him than any president in past history.

      • Bob Wire

I agree Eddie, they do mean well. (the people/followers/believers, that is) as for the media, I feel it just another product, something to sell that people are buying along with the side products “gold/silver” guns and ammo etc. ~ Supply and demand! You can create demand! That seems to be what Media does best anymore.

The road to Hell is paved with good intentions.

Myself, I’ve surly enjoyed watching the GOP hop, skip and jump about as a loose 900 lb. cannon has been tossed around on a pitching deck in heavy seas. I didn’t know Republicans could dance so well.

It’s been a show ! McCain’s News flash “I’m no Maverick” just one of the many highlighted performances.

Will something good come of it? Maybe, I hope so. But I fear the right wing media is attempting to ratchet things up to a flash point, much like Hitler did with the torching of the Reichstag and blaming the Jews for it.

“The Reichstag fire (German: Der Reichstagsbrand) was an arson attack on the Reichstag building in Berlin on 27 February 1933. The event is seen as pivotal in the establishment of Nazi Germany.” ~

The people themselves seem clueless as the “powers that be” playing their twisted tricks with mislabeling and using loyalty to keeping them in the blind.

It seems only a few see and understand what’s really happening, as they become fevered and lost in the fight and fear.

of course, they’d wish to turn it around and say the same thing of me. The only problem with that is, I don’t carry the fever ~ it is they that’s butts on fire, not mine. To that they would say, You should be if you were wise.

There is no communication with them at this point, I’d have to be sitting in the Amen section to get a word in edge wise.

Eddie you do not know the chocolate Marxist? You are liar, you voted for him. The dumb dumbs refer to him as Obama.

      • bruce d.

You are being very condescending Eddie47d. People who show up at Tea Parties expect nothing in return except a Constitutional government and less taxes. To say that these people show up because some corporate funding just isn’t true. Most on the left want something for their support. They just can’t understand it when people want to do something for their country and its future.

      • eddie47d

Another righty that can’t read. The Tea Party is being managed and manipulated just like all political agendas. They mostly started out as concerned citizens and got taken over by a few talking heads.

      • JeffH

fast ediot, which Tea Party re you talking about?..apparently you’re the resident expert, so tell us which Tea Party. I know that my Tea Party isn’t funded or controlled by any political party.
That’s right, somebody else said it so it must be true!

      • bruce d.

“The rest of the Media Matters article gives a detailed breakdown of exactly who has been involved, what activities they’ve undertaken, dates & locations etc.”

CutnPaste if you are listening to Media Matters it is not wonder you have the viewpoints you do. There are people at Fox News and heads of corporations that want what is best for this country. If that is the case they would not support President Obama and left wing ideology. They would support a Constitutional limited government as does The Tea Party. No one at a Tea Party is there because of Fox News or because of what some corporation wants. Fox News and corporations are welcome if they want to do the right thing and a lot of them do.

Bruce D: I had the same problem as you with Congresswoman Castor. All I received from her were her automatic responses until I told her she hung onto the skirt of Nancy Pelosi; that 70 per cent of the people she represents did not want the Health care Bill and Cap and Trade to pass.

She has responded to every submission of mine since I told her she was a fraud and would go door to door with her voting record. My opinion on her and her voting record along with many others was published in the Tampa Tribune since then. She is trying to stem the tide with several appearances in this area and the response she is receiving isn’t good. Since the Democrat’s have a majority in this area, I only can hope they see her for what she is and vote her out.

      • bruce d.

Good job Bud G. Your response is makes me proud to be an American. The fact that one citizen can make a politician have concern for their job.

Term limits will just make the bad ones hurry up their agendas!!!

      • http://ahalbert@smart-technology.net Allan Halbert

Maybe. But what it will do is:

        1. mitigate corruption and vote selling of those in power too long and feeling entitled.
        2. make it tougher to develop corrupt relationships with outside influences.
        3. insure we get more potential work on the problems instead of spending the MAJORITY OF THEIR TERM working on re-election.
        4. attract a more service-oriented candidate because it’s NOT A CAREER.
        5. potentially save the lifetime pension costs for serving more than one term.

It’s a NO BRAINER. You can’t expect the re-elected to change their stripes!

      • Warlord X

It is way past time to enact term limits for EVERYONE,from the local water or county commissioner to every office in the city, County, and State office including judges and particularly the Supreme Court. But I would go further; limit the amount of time Congress can even meet. It has worked well for most State Legislatures where it has been adopted (against mighty political resistance). Perhaps then, they’ll feel less compelled to “do something”, or get their name on something. But more importantly, it is time to enact some specific methods for the ordinary citizen to compel the prosecution and punishing of un-Constitutional acts by anyone, but most especially those who have sworn the Oath of Allegiance to support and defend the Constitution (both State and Federal).

Bob Wire, you spell your name about as well as you spell in your response…”The American people are not being subject to or burden with war reparation” – the American people have it even worse than that – we have to pay back the national debt of $13+TRILLION dollars and the ‘unofficial’ unpaid obligations of $60+TRILLION dollars! AND hyperinflation is coming – if you don’t own gold or silver, you are deluding yourself…

    • Soldier

when the system completely collapses, what good does gold or silver do you? You can’t eat gold or silver. What moron would give up a can of beans for some silver which might as well just be a shinny trinket after total collapse? Buy food buy food buy food buy food buy food buy food….

      • Isaac Unglaub

Hello Soldier, history has shown over and over that in times of crises you could get anything for gold or silver, as well as precious stones. The (fiat) money, if available, became worthless! I personally can proof it!

      • Soldier

Unfortunately, things are different now. It used to be that half the people were farmed and were self sufficient. Certainly they were tougher to some extent. Now, what? like 5% of the people farm? and 4.89% of them work for the Monsanto food corporation and owe their allegance to them?

      • Isaac Unglaub

You are absolutely right that things have changed. But trust me, in times of crisis a black market(“crisis’ bazaar”) will always flourish! And any form of precious metal will be welcome, for your paper money you’ll get a pitiful smile.

      • goldenrod_on_myboots

I agree with you. I think foreign currency is better than gold or silver. Why not irridium? Platinum is also scarce. These industrial metals, gold is one also, fell during the financial crisis of 2008-09. But, food, seeds, and some stock are more essential than gold. A goat or sheep may be the only resort for most of us. Hey, goat milk ain’t half bad. Bah.

Is it a corporate entity as defined under 28 USC Section 3002(15)? If what you say is so, then each politician can be sued for violations of rights, especially if WE ARE NOT paying them, and the corporate entity is.

That “we the people thing” is a fairy tale. It should be we the people, we the enablers. It is our taxes that give them the true power over us and everything. Maybe you believe in fairy tales, but I do not. I do believe we the people can take back our republic, but it will be expensive. It will take people of determination, and true grit, with guns bullets, and blood. You will know why I sat this in about two months or less.

Its up to the military. They either side with the people or side with the bastards in power. Bottom line. Unless you think some red necks in the woods with AR-15s can hold out against checmial warhead artillery, stealth bombers, tanks, etc.

      • JC

The military is overseas so I guess we’ll have to rely on AMERICANS to defend there own nation. Thast might amount to more than a couple of “rednecks” as you so callously put it.

      • Soldier

A great amount of the military is here in America. In fact, I bet more total military is here in the states then oversees. Also, I should note that one checmical warhead landing in the woods just might cause thousands of patriots to start spasming uncontrollably. Hope you have your gas masks at the ready. I am just trying to drive home my opinion, that I truly beleive its up to the military to defect and side with the people at least to some extent, or we are #$##$

You are right and you are wrong. Our taxes are the source of power to the politicans in the sense that our taxes make us poorer, and thus, more apt to slavery. However, the Federal Reserve simply prints what our government needs. There really is not point to paying taxes at all (as all of our tax money goes back to the Federal Reserve though the IRS) except to stay inflation some. If the fed just printed out money like crazy but collected no taxes from us, inflation would be worse. Remember if we had a god standard system of money, CON-gress couldn’t endlessly expand their wars, etc. without cofiscating all taxes at the barrel of a gun. If congress had to do this, we would rioted a long time ago.

Especially if there is even a slight chance that parts of their family might get hit?? I don’t think so! I served for over seven years and I don’t think any of the guys I served with would have, especially since their oath is to the constitution and by that to the people of the U.S.!!

Joe, I have full confidence that our military would not fire upon the citizens of this nation. When you have 85% of your armed forces supporting Ron Paul in the 2008 elections, you have to realize that these men & women are no dupes. Over half the man’s campaign contributions came from military. When all hell breaks out, they will likely side with what I call the freedom fighters.

        MICHELLE CAMPAIGNED INSIDE POLLING PLACE?
        Thu Oct 14 2010 16:19:25 ET
First lady Michelle Obama may have violated Illinois law today — when she engaged in political discussion at a polling place!

Mrs. Obama stopped off at the Martin Luther King Center on the south side of Chicago to cast an early vote.

After she finished at the voting machine, Obama went back to the desk and handed in her voting key.

She let voters including electrician Dennis Campbell, 56, take some photos with her.

“She was telling me how important it was to vote to keep her husband’s agenda going,” Campbell said.

According to the pool reporter at the scene, the conversation took place IN the voting center not far from the booths.

Illinois state law — Sec. 17-29 (a) — states: “No judge of election, pollwatcher, or other person shall, at any primary or election, do any electioneering or soliciting of votes or engage in any political discussion within any polling place, within 100 feet of any polling place.”

      • Kate8

Now, JeffH, You know that the left (especially black left) doesn’t have to adhere to such laws. Just look how they are allowed to combine politics and religion (right in their doctrines), feature campaigning politicians right at Sunday service…I bet we could find many ares where they are not held to this standard.

Heck, they’re even allowed to threaten voters at the polls without fear of penalty.

How have we put up with this double standard for so long without even a protest.

      • JeffH

Kate8, you’re right. It’s always the case of “do as I say, not as I do” with them.

      • eddie47d

JC; Jeff explained what she had to say so maybe you need to pay attention to the news instead of barking at the wrong time; and it was still passing words (conversation) Craig so don’t make a mountain out of a mole hill.

      • eddie47d

Kate 8 had to bring up the race card and good ol’ Jeff eggs her on. That’s the real truth here.

      • Craig

Passing words about you husbands Marxist agenda is called “electioneering” Eddie. It is a federal crime and she needs to be put behind bars.

      • JeffH

Getting through to fast eddie is like trying to catch a fly with chopsticks…you could spend your whole life trying and never get it.

      • Bob Wire

“First lady Michelle Obama may have violated Illinois law today — when she engaged in political discussion at a polling place!”

Well? This is not good and polling stations are not the place for idle chit chat by “anyone”.

~ given the fact, the 1st Lady moves about with an entourage of security and handlers that’s paid top dollar to control her public appearances to the micro -detail, I can’t help but suspect we have a bit of embellishing at work here. ~ Do you think Michell can just run a muck and not be mindful of where she is at? I would think , most would be on their very best behavior.

      • Kate8

Race card, eddie? Now, that’s funny, coming from a leftie.

What I stated was simple fact. Playing the ‘race card’ is using race to threaten someone’s free speech. To silence truth. Like you just tried to do, eddie.

I refuse to play that game. I call ‘em how I see ‘em. You can take your PC and stuff it.

      • eddie47d

And you can take you’re two faced race baiting and stuff it. I’ll call it as I see it.

      • eddie47d

Craig; They have padded cells for loonies like you.

      • JeffH

fast ediot, can’t stand the heat? Get out of the kitchen!
        Stupid is as stupid does!

      • Craig

LOL…an uneducated know nothing loon calling me a loon. Now thats funny.

      • Craig

Eddie, you are slacking boy. You forgot to call me a racist. I take being called a racist as a badge of honor. Seeing as how, the liberal definition of the word, is anybody that does not buy into the stuff they spew.

  • Bob Wire

” The U.S. today is a fascist state no different from Nazi Germany. The only thing missing is the swastika and the jackboots. American fascism is far advanced from the German National Socialists.”

This statement is well over the top and I didn’t see any reason to continue reading such thoughts once I got to this, know all sense of reason was lost.

I’ll not bother with explaining the huge differences as I think it should be obvious to anyone , accept only to say, ~ The American people are not being subjected to or burden with war reparation so demanding as the Treaty of Versailles not to mention hyper-inflation where it took a wheel borrow full of money to buy a loaf of bread.

There is many, many things missing that Germany was expose to and had to endure that we do not. What we do share in common is Zealotry on the part of a few who strive to enlarge their numbers even if it requires “burning something down”

    • slickporsche

Be patient its coming soon enough.

      • Denniso

Bob Wire, I agree w/ you that once Bob Livingston made that comment, I was done w/ the article. Equating us to Nazi Germany is absurd. You can find parallels between all sorts of aspects of different societies and gov’ts,but that doesn’t make them the same. One parallel now is all the hate and fearmongering directed toward minorities, immigrants, gays…Hitler did know how to scapegoat groups and used it to his political advantage. The extreme rightwing is doing the same thing.

    • bruce d.

I agree with Bob Livingston on this. As he says they hide it under a very thin layer of deceit if one cares to look. Fascism is the best form of control because it allows simple minded people to keep believing they are free. Under Fascism you still own businesses and property which gives the appearance of freedom. What people fail to see is that government tells you what you can and can’t do with that private property and how much you have to pay them to keep it. Most of our rights have been made into privilages. Government claims that while they are rights government reserves the right to regulate them. Which makes them privilages. Over regulation by government is Fascism. Many people do not realize that because all they know about Fascism is that it occured under Hitler and we cannot possibly have that system here because everyone hates Hitler so it could never be.

      • Average Joe Patriot

Exactly right. Italy had fascism as well, probably still does to a great degree. But there is a very strong similarity between Nazi Germany and the USA of today, in that the Nazi Party virtually owned the propaganda machine (the MSM of their day) and they used it to the hilt. They were obvious in a way which (because what they did is recent memory) would be seen through immediately by many Americans seventy years later. Doesn’t mean it’s not happening on a more subtle but more widespread basis here, it is. Who did our present-day controllers learn their craft from? And the messages are being piped into the living rooms of a very dumbed down, drugged out, far more docile public than existed back then.

As for the wheel-barrow/loaf-of-bread inflation? As Slick says, sit tight.

(Come to think of it, you could fill a wheel barrow with loaves of bread at 1940 prices, for the dollar-cost of one loaf in 2010. Check my math, but I think this is called inflation.)

Just because Hitler and his gang tried to boil the frog too quickly, doesn’t mean it can’t be done. (Hint, start by fluoridating the water, making the frog too fat and weak to jump, and raising the walls of the pan to the point where he can no longer see his way clear to freedom.)

    • Steve Dolyniuk

And just where do you think this is all heading? We, the people have had it too good for a long time, & slowly but surely the politicians have taken advantage of the situation, & given themselves more power, & taken more freedom away from the people they are supposed to represent. Finally, with this present administration, some people are waking up,but I am afraid, not enough.

    • RobRoy

If you didn’t continue reading the article, how do you find yourself qualified to reply to it????

      • Bob Wire

I responded to one statement ~ an over the top statement that stood alone and needed no support for there was none that could be offered.

In as far as these comments regarding the “heavy hand of government”, it’s being spoken as if it’s “Something NEW” and offered up by the current administration.

We are not completely “Free” and haven’t been “Free” for quite awhile. It’s always been a illusion of sorts, the same walls that keeps others out , keeps you in.

We have been regulated and law’ed and taxed to death ever since Ronnie said these words. ” it’s time to get the Federal Government off the peoples back” ~~ while City, County and State made it a Tag Team Match of regulating, taxed, penalizing and Licensing each one of us to death acting as federal proxy.

This didn’t ~ just occur! There is no Fascist to it ! It’s simply greedy people running greedy government across the board.

Why paint some god awful label on it that doesn’t fit in some attempt to mislabel and get people all worked up about the wrong thing?

It doesn’t have a thing to do with Fascism or per WWII Germany accept with the attempt of exciting some kind of riot rule fueled by difficult economic times, old resentment, racial bias and religious beliefs.

I doubt if there is any one here that dislike government anymore then I do on one of my better days. But, me not liking it ~ is not going to make it go away.

You need a plan ~ a working plan ! I plan to die and screw everybody ~ that will teach ‘em. Until then, ~ I’m given up as little ground as possible.

Now if you want to discuss how to avoid giving up ground, ~ lets talk.

But It Sure as hell didn’t start with this administration and won’t end with it.

This mislabeling is bull$hit and end in no good.

      • JC

Conversely, I agree completely with Bob and have held the same viewpoint for some time. Our rights are barely there….if at all.
And we live under a very thin layer of freedom…that can be taken away by jack boot authority at the drop of a hat.
There’s just no arguing the point, it’s a real as it gets.

      • bruce d.

It is like being an alcoholic Bob. Before you can solve the problem you have to be honest with yourself and call it what it is. Labeling it greed does not really recognize the fact that politians have changed the Republic into something that our ‘founders’ did not have in mind. You seem to think that because it didn’t all happen in the last two years that it is somehow not so bad. I do not quite get that.

      • Bob Wire

Excellent observation and response Bruce and you are so right. So the question before us is ?

What’s is it going to take to place people in office that loves the work of being public servants for the reward that public work offers and not just for the power and money?

        Any clues?

need, greed and ego always manages to butt in.

Maybe Public work should offer something besides money ~ something money can’t buy.

      • bruce d.

Bob the Tea Party has started to put Republicans in fear of losing their job at the primaries if they do not go back to a Constitutional government. The Democratic Party belittles and degrades the Tea Party and any attempt to go back to a Constitutional government as does some Republicans. So first you have to find out who is willing to go back to a Constitution government and who is not. We cannot have government buying votes with a stimulus package. That is the ultimate assault on our Constitution and why the ‘founders’ were leary of a democracy.

    • DaveH

The Government currently spends over 37% of our Gross Domestic Product. Translation – over 1/3 of our lives are being spent serving the Government. Could any crooks be any worse? Even the Mafia only demanded 20% for their “protection”. In return for all that money the Government harasses the honest and productive people in our society.
Yeah, maybe Bob uses a little hyperbole, but basically I think he is right on target. We are being duped by the leaders. No, they don’t yank us out of our homes yet and line us against the wall to be shot, but if you don’t believe that might be coming, you are doing some major Hoping and Dreaming.

  • slickporsche

Vote, vote, vote, vote, and you will still have same [offensive word removed] different day after the elections. You have all had so much sunshine blown up your butts you cannot see straight anymore. OH yes and do not forget “tolerance”. Now ain’t that a politically correct word? It is especially good when it is used to control you in everything you do.We are literally supposed to tolerate the horde coming across the border, the race of people we have that is 80% of the prison population and the majority of the poor. WE are suppose to tolerate the Muslims who are slowly repopulating America, and we are supposed to tolerate a government that does anything it wants and does not follow the US constitution. What are you going to do about it? Absolutly nothing!Oh sure you will walk out of the polling place with your head high and your chest all puffed out, like you have some control or a place in governing this once great republic.IS THAT ALL YOU HAVE????? End of story, end of a republic!

    • Joyce from Loris

So, what do you suggest we do besides vote???

You are SO wrong! Our politicians DO NOT belong to the government. They belong to large corporations who serve, not the people, but their own special interests. How can you be so blind?

    • slickporsche

I think you are both correct to some degree.

      • medutch1

I agree with many of these replies, and in that context I would like to add a bit of substance.
In Mr. Livingston’s latest newsletter, his reference to “gradualism” is right on point. What is happening to the United States, along with most of the “developed” countries in the world, is a very long range plan to control the population of the world. The United States, because of it’s type of government(a Constitutional Republic – based on the original Constitution), is the last and hardest bastion of a free society to be conquered. Many events throughout our history, which the public-at-large know nothing about, are gradually aiding in this endeavor. In 1873, the Organic District of Columbia Act established the United States as a corporation which was governed by a “new” constitution. They adopted our original Constitution except they eliminated the thirteen amendment. Since then everything our government has done has been done to gain more gradual control over the citizenry.
We percieve our elected officials, which are really nothing more than corporate representatives, as the people in power. Understand that they really do the bidding of the real power-brokers. They are puppets-on-a-string who do as the puppet masters dictate. The puppet masters were the authors and force behind the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 and, not coincidently, the establishment of the IRS in that same year.
Think about the fact that in 1913 the gold-backed U.S. dollar was worth One dollar; in 2008, as compared to the 1913 dollar, the fiat U.S. dollar was worth .06 cents. What happend to the other .94 cents?
        Consider the following quotes:
“History records that the money changers have used every form of abuse,
intrigue, deceit, and violent means possible to maintain their
control over governments by controlling money and its issuance.”
        James Madison
“The dominion which the banking institutions have obtained over the
minds of our citizens…must be broken, or it will break us.”
        Thomas Jefferson
“The real rulers of Washington are invisible and exercise power from
behind the scenes.” Felix Frankfurter – Supreme Court Justice
“The high office of President has been used to foment a plot to
destroy the American’s freedom, and before I leave office I must
inform the citizen of his plight.” John F. Kennedy
“The Federal Reserve System is nothing more than legalized
        counterfeit.” Ron Paul
“Let me issue and control a nation’s money and I care not who
writes the laws.” Mayer Amschel Bauer-aka Baron Rothschild
“Who controls money controls the world.” Henry Kissinger
In the United States, until we can abolish the Federal Reserve System and it’s centralized banks, we cannot have a Constitutional Republic as envisioned by our Founders. By and large, it matters not who we “elect” because the power behind the elected still remain the puppet masters(understand the reason behind the assassination of JFK).
In the present, put aside food-water-medicine-arms/ammunition, etc. Look for organizations to join/support that will Restore our Original Constitution; for military active/retired, all police/sheriff both active and retired – become familiar with Operation Vampire.
We have not lost, but we have a very, very long and hard road ahead of us. Keep your family and friends close; very close.

        medutch1, Great post.

Of course, they haven’t stopped at controlling the money. They now control media, education, medicine, food…and even churches. Christians have been the last bastion of resistance, and are now being officially subdued.

Now, more than ever, we must guard against deception on all fronts, even those we want to trust.

Right on, Kate8. It’s always good to read your postings. Keep up the good fight, fellow patriot! FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

THEY ARE ALL SHILLS FOR THE NEW WORLD ORDER,FUNDED BY CORPS,THROUGH RULE OF GOVERNMENT.

    • Craig

You left out they also belong to big labor unions, like the scumbags at SEIU.

      • eddie47d

Unions are owned and controlled by corporations and their power is limited. They can’t really do a thing or make demands without the approval of said corporation or business. Unions are dying because the corporations have too much power over who gets what. It certainly isn’t the American worker who is winning.

      • JeffH

Wow! I didn’t think it could get any worse, yet I’ve been proved wrong! Thanks for the reinforcement fast eddie.

      • eddie47d

You dumb down on a few issues Jeff and it never ceases to amaze me. Stick to your preprinted dialogs and impress your friends for you never say much on your own that is relevant.

      • JeffH

Right fast eddie, and the corporations run the unions…LMAO!

      • Craig

Eddie he dumbs down the issues so even you could understand and you still don’t get it. Says a lot about. Does your IQ even get out of the lower single digits?

      • JeffH

fast eddie. do I detect a bit of jealousy? Just the fact that I find educational and informative information to share through my research and find that it is much easier to post that information, with the corresponding links of course, does not require that I post them in my own words. That said, you ought to try to back up your continuous rants and mis-information with a little factual research. Oh, that’s right, you don’t do any research, you just rant the mis-information you hear from the other liberal progressive minions or you plain make it up. You’d think by now that even a dummy could figure out that the ridicule you recieve would diminish if you’d post some facts once in awhile.

      • Angel Wannabe

        JeffH, Corporations run the unions___WTF???__

      • http://?? Joe H.

        edduhhh!,
Have you ever worked for a company that has a union??? The unions have ruined what used to be a good concept! That concept WAS to protect the worker from dangers and unfair practices on the job. Now the union is SOOO money hungry it isn’t even funny!! Now the unions are the dangers and the unfair practice. The laziest workers on the job are protected so hard that they can’t be fired, in the case of teachers, the most rotten teachers in the schools are protected like they are endangered species! They should BE endangered!!! They should be gone, but the union threatens a strike if they fire him/her!! Meanwhile our children are falling further and further behind the rest of the world!!

      • JC

“Unions are owned and controlled by corporations”

Which Union? Which Corporations? Where do you get this crap?
Unions and Corporations are anathema to one another. (look it up)

      • Craig

Eddie, you truly are an idiot. What corporation owns or runs the SEIU scumbags?

      • eddie47d

Wise up old dumb ones! Every union person works for someone else. The unions don’t own a thing and only want a piece of the corporate pie. They deserve a good wage like anyone and because they have the moxie to get it doesn’t make them the bad guys. Sure a few demand too much and they play this cat and mouse game of asking for alittle more and then settle for what would have been more reasonable in the first place. Most attacks on unions are overtly pathetic and tears down the middle class even farther. Some of you are helping to turn this country into a 3rd nation by ignoring Corporate corruption. You’re allowing these elites to make more at the expense of the once strong middle class. That is far more dangerous and you have been encouraging it with you’re union bashing.

      • Craig

        Man are you clueless.

      • JC

For sure Craig, and unbelievably so…

      • eddie47d

Craig and JC : I’m certainly not buying you’re snake oil so maybe you can join your corporate buddies and head out overseas.

      • JeffH

fast ediot, where did you get your wit from? A rock, cause your about as smart as a rock!

      • Craig

Eddie, speaking the truth that you are absolutely clueless is the truth. In your world the truth is snake oil? Strange world you live in.

    • Average Joe Patriot

“You are SO wrong! Our politicians DO NOT belong to the government. They belong to large corporations who serve, not the people, but their own special interests. How can you be so blind?”

      This is a fool’s distinction.

Blind? This word choice brings to mind the story of the blind men and the elephant, wherein six wise old men examine the parts of the four ton creature thoroughly, then get into a heated argument with one another. One claims the elephant is like a rope, another a tree, another a blanket, another a wall, another a spear, another a great writhing snake.

They’re each correctly describing a tail, a massive leg, an ear, the torso, a tusk, the trunk. And they’re all missing the point.

Big Gov, Big Media, Big Mil, Big Banks, Big Energy, Big Agri, Big Pharma, Big Etc.–are all part of the same massive elephant.

To comprehend this frightening creature as a whole, we need to observe what it does. All of its parts functioning as a coordinated unit, as do all these Big Entities around us, generally comprising what’s known as the “corporatocracy.”

Certainly Big Government can be named responsible for our woes: they were the ones charged by our founders, via the Constitution and Bill of Rights, with protecting us from the evil of corporate greed (by, for example establishing a sound monetary system, and recognizing States rights, and defending the rights of individuals). Just as certainly, Big Corporate can be charged with crimes against humanity, because they have been and are the ones committing them.

Under what guaranteed right does a corporate lobbyist function? The right of the individual to petition. Is a lobbyist an individual? He can say he is, or he can be honest and say he represents Big Whatever. Doesn’t matter. Through some bizarre twist of legal logic, the incorporated interests he represents have the same rights as an individual. A corporation is legally granted “personhood,” thus in effect US citizenship, even if their name is All Continents Subjugation & Serfdom, LLC.

There is no argument over who the enemy is. Greed which crosses the line of individual freedom is the enemy, and has been since long before the founding of our nation. What Livingston is saying is that our government (not just one political party, but every political party large enough to be worth suborning and co-opting) has crossed this line and joined that age-old enemy. Precisely and most specifically what our government was chartered to NOT do.

      • eddie47d

Thank you, Someone who get’s the corporate connection.

      • JC

That we suffer due to economic fascism is indisputable.

      • DaveH

The reason Government has grown to the current critical mass is simply due to one thing – Voter Apathy. And I don’t see it changing. Corporations have no power whatever over us without the force of Government to back them up. What do most of the voters do to change that? They keep putting in office the same old tired politicians who promise them great things but give them cow dung. None of this is going to change until you people quit putting those damned RINOs into office. It doesn’t matter if they are better than the Democrats, they aren’t good enough to roll back the Leviathan Government. So, it just keeps growing.
When we as voters learn to respect real Freedom, that is the Freedom to control our own bodies and property, then maybe things will change. But I don’t see that happening anytime soon. The Democrats want to share our money (thus our labor), and the Republicans want to save us from ourselves. Neither major party really understands Freedom. So, we suffer. And we will continue to suffer until people quit voting for power-hungry busy bodies who think they know what is best for others.
        Vote Libertarian for real Freedom:

      • Average Joe Patriot

DaveH: You know, there are a lot of obviously intelligent people here, I’d be glad to have them as neighbors when TSHTF, because they appear to be the sort of realists and pragmatists you need to build a new community from the ashes. Yet even many of them disagree on many things regarding what is wrong with our decaying system, what and who we would need in public office to fix it. Not to play devil’s advocate, here, but what makes you think your typical American voter can see through the smoke and mirrors sufficiently to agree to select, then elect anyone better suited to defend their interests than what they have been doing?

It took the Supreme Court to put Little George in office the first time, and rigged voting machines to keep him there. To put Obama in the White House they scarcely needed any of that, vox populi was all it took, since in ’08 the devil the voters knew was more terrifying than the unknown alternative. We were handed absurd choices (except for Paul, who disappointingly caved) and told to hurry up and vote. And here we are today, right where They want us to be. It’s like the Johnny Cash song where he’s being swallowed by a snake.

How in the world do you expect us to VOTE our way out of this mess?
I’m sure Johnny was voting his ass off. We know how that song ended.

The TRUTH is being exposed more and more with the help of articles like these, of Bob Livingston and like minded journalists. JeffH, does a hell-of-a good job too on the info__ But the information adage still remains,it’s like leading a horse to water, you can’t make them drink! Like Bob, all you can do is put forth the info and hope, more and more people view it as serious enough to prepare for it. On one hand I don’t think we should live in perpetual fear of a tsunami and let it rule our lives, but being completely fool hearty, and believe NOTHING CAN HAPPEN HERE, is just that, fool hearty. At some point in time, like that of the childs, in London Bridge, it will all fall down and everything will be forced to re-adjust. The constant rising tax & regulation, the money situation in general, the inflation. Cannot continue. As I’ve said before, I’d rather be prepared, than a fool.

I would rather do something about it than to give up and be prepared for what ever comes. However I cannot do it all alone, and need much help that will not come. George Bernard Shaw makes more sense in DEATH than our elected bastards and bastardettes in Washington. Maybe we should elect comvicted felons
straight out of prison. We’d get better government. At least convicted felons are familiar with “amnesty” and how it does or doesn’t apply.
People, there is but one rule to apply to politicians. If they try to make a career out of being in Washington, it’s time for them to be FLUSHED. It is proof of INSANITY that we can have retards who can’t read, think they must be treated like kings and queens, are above the LAW and never hesitate to use and abuse us.
Shakespeare was right. Mark Twain was right. George Bernard Shaw was right. So WHY can’t we find ways to RID ourselves of these useful idiot scumbags? Dogs that sleep with disease-carrying FLEAS get a better break than we do.

The retards are the ones that are allowing this to happen.

      • Average Joe Patriot

G.B. Shaw also said: “Don’t vote for them, it only encourages them.”

This about sums it up for me. Other than those who actively supported Ron Paul, people today involved in campaigning and voting for most of these $#it#ead$ are probably doing little harm, nor much good, because what they’re doing is pointless in light of the fact that, as Bob L. so thoroughly explains here, governments don’t empower or produce, they regulate (disenfranchise individuals for the benefit of the corporatocracy) and they consume.

Frankly, I’d rather most people stayed home and voted for American Idol. This would make it easier to differentiate between the gullible idiots (who are sufficiently impressed with pomp and glitz to pay for it with their freedom) and the discerning patriots (who will pay a reasonable price for sensible regulation in which they have a stake and a say).

    • JeffH

I’m pretty sure that most of us have bartered for things at one time or another.

      • http://?? Joe H.

        JeffH,
My first experience with real barter was at 14 years old. A lady had a 55 chevy up on blocks in her garage and I mowed her lawn each week and shoveled her sidewalk each time it snowed. the day I turned 16, my father and I went over to her house and picked up the title and the car and I took it home. I worked for that car for almost 2 years and I took such good care of it! I sold it when I was 26 to go to college!! That and the GI bill took me through four years!!!

      • JeffH

Joe H., how funny, my first car was a 55 chevy business coupe. My first barter was for a 20ga Fox Mdl B side by side from a family friend. That was my first huntin’ shotgun.

“No State shall make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts.”
Article 1, Section 10, united States’ Constitution

The Federal Reserve system was created by international banking families such as the Rothschilds, Warburgs and Rockefellers. This international banking cartel creates “money” out of thin air. It only costs them a few cents to print each Federal Reserve Note “dollar bill”, and then they “bill” the American people for the full face value of the note. Then to add insult to injury, they charge us interest to borrow their so-called “money”.

In 1913 when the Federal Reserve Act was fraudulently pushed through Congress, Congressman Charles Lindbergh stated: “This Act establishes the most gigantic trust on earth….When the President signs this Act, the invisible government by the money power, proven to exist by the Money Trust Investigation, will be legalized….The new law will create inflation whenever the trust wants inflation….From now on, depression will be scientifically created.”

“We have in this country one of the most corrupt institutions the world has ever known. I refer to the Federal Reserve Board and the Federal Reserve Banks. Some people think the Federal Reserve Banks are U.S. government institutions. They are not government institutions. They are private credit monopolies; domestic swindlers, rich and predatory money lenders which prey upon the people of the united States for the benefit of themselves and their foreign customers. The Federal Reserve Banks are the agents of the foreign central banks. The truth is the Federal Reserve Board has usurped the Government of the United States by the arrogant credit monopoly which operates the Federal Reserve Board.” [Congressman Louis T. McFadden, Chairman of the House Banking & Currency Committee, speech on the floor of the House of Representatives, June 10, 1932]

“Most Americans have no real understanding of the operation of the international money lenders….The accounts of the Federal Reserve System have never been audited. It operates outside the control of Congress and….manipulates the credit of the united States.” [Senator Barry Goldwater]

“Federal Reserve Notes are illegal” [US Representative Dr. Ron Paul]

IF THIS IS TRUE WHY HAVEN’T I HEARD ABOUT THIS?
Basically, it is because the international bankers, having unlimited funds, own and control the mainstream media. “These international bankers and Rockefeller-Standard Oil interests control the majority of newspapers and the columns of these papers to club into submission or drive out of public office officials who refuse to do the bidding of the powerful corrupt cliques which compose the invisible government.” [Teddy Roosevelt]

    HOW DOES THIS AFFECT ME?
Congress initially defined a lawful money “dollar” as being and consisting of (at least) 371.25 grains of pure silver. Before 1965 anyone could exchange one paper dollar for one real silver dollar. However, in 1965 the united States’ mint stopped minting silver dollars. When this occurred inflation began to skyrocket. Now it takes a whole fist full of paper dollars (i.e., “Federal Reserve Notes”) to buy one real silver dollar. It now takes two working parents to support a family and the national debt is shooting over 12 trillion dollars! And this is not even counting the private debt by individuals and corporations, which is somewhere over 50 trillion dollars. Get the picture?

    http://www.healthfreedom.info/Federal_Reserve_Fraud.htm

    • JeffH

Article I, Section 10 of the united States’ Constitution states: “No State shall…make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts.” The united States’ Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land and this Law has never been amended.

Article I, Section 8 states: “The Congress shall have Power…to coin Money”. Notice that it states “coin” not “print”. Anyone who reads James Madison’s notes of the Constitutional Convention, The Federalist Papers, etc. will find that one of the purposes of the Constitutional Convention was to do away with paper money–entirely! Thus for the first 72 years from the founding of our nation the united States’ Government only minted gold and silver COINS for money.

“It is apparent from the whole context of the Constitution as well as the history of the times which gave birth to it, that it was the purpose of the Convention to establish a currency consisting of the precious metals. These were adopted by a permanent rule excluding the use of a perishable medium of exchange, such as of certain agricultural commodities recognized by the statutes of some States as tender for debts, or the still more pernicious expedient of paper currency.” [President Andrew Jackson, 8th Annual

You make an excellent point, JeffH. Jackson was a rare man. He had high ideals, and he wasn’t afraid to back up his words with deeds. It is much more than ironic that Jackson was also a Democrat [a truly FUNCTIONAL Democrat who was worthy of the title]. If he was alive today and running for office, he couldn’t get elected. He couldn’t get appointed as a dog catcher. So much for modern ‘Democrats.’
Compare Jackson with those who call themselves ‘Democrats’ now, and you have to shake your head and wonder what happened to integrity and honor. I’d jump at the opportunity to trade any 10,000 elected, useful idiots for five true patriots like Andy Jackson.

Many of us “Injuns, Redskins” or whatever other terms you use, do not use or carry a Twenty Dollar ($20.00) ponzi-fiat paper bill because it represents the “Genocide” legislation of this Jerk. A great thank you to the Injuns after they fought with him to win his wars and battles. Read some Library of Congress archive history. Hell, I’m just a “Dumb Injun” what do I know !

      • Joyce from Loris

I’m with you, WIA. My ancestors were Cherokee. They escaped the trail of tears, and came to the coast of NC. My Grandmother was full blooded Cherokee, but alas, married a white man, as there were no other Indians around to marry. Thus, I am a “half-breed”. My people also refused to carry the $20 bill. I heard stories about the troops that were sent to kill the Indians, grabbing the babies by the feet and bashing their little heads against the trees. Horror stories! I’m glad my ancestors were able to escape. When I was growing up, my mother taught me to NEVER tell anyone that we were part Indian.

      • DaveH

How sad, Joyce. It is unfortunate that the most dishonorable amongst us tend to gravitate to the top.

      • Claire

Joyce–The Trail of Tears. It was a terrible thing to happen. Your words speak volumes. I have several friends that are part Cherokee. I love them dearly. A guy in Wisconsin co-owns a show dog with me. He is engaged to a lady that is part Cherokee. She is beautiful– in her looks and her soul. They are my dear friends.
A couple of years ago I edited a book and it told of the Trail of Tears. It also told of Indian babies being killed in the same manner that you spoke of. Tragic ordeal.

      • Claire

WIA–I agree with you about Andrew Jackson. He implemented the physical removal of the Indians, and ordered their removal to reservations. About 4,000 Indians died during the Trail of Tears. Andrew Jackson was a scumbag.

      • goldenrod_on_myboots

I have read a bit on A. Jackson trying to determine why he so disliked the first american settlers or if he was just after land on the cheap for the waves of immigrants arriving from his homeland of Ireland and other parts of Europe. I cannot answer. Some say his mother’s relatives were killed by indians either before or after he arrived here. Some say the general atmosphere in and around the Waxhaws at his time was very anti-Indian. He was involved in the bitter frontier fights of the Revolutioary War and may have fought the British aligned Cherokee or other tribes as I do not know who aligned with US or Them. Anyway, he again fought in the war of 1812 against the British and some natives as you mentioned some were on his side. However, the result is the same. He promoted the indian removals and went along with the congressional plan when the courts tried to intervene on behalf of the tribes.

I have often thought that the greatest part of the problem was a clash of clutures. Arriving immigrants could not live the subsistance lifestyle of the natives in the numbers that arrived. As there was not large opposing force to stop the invasion, the result was set in stone. Something to keep in mind with all the people from all over the world coming here now.

I hunt, fish, and farm a bit in what was Creek nation lands. I do not see how a family made it. I think the communal part of the native life crossed up with the individual accomplishment ways of the newcomers.

I have often thought of resettlement ideas. I realize that the idea is like giving Arlington back to the Lee family. Even without the graves, Arlington would just be a potential subdivision and not used as in 1860 as a farm. Time is past and the present moves on.

      • http://gunner689 gunner689

Before you put old Andy on too high a pedistol remember that it was he, through pressure from land speculators, that stole treated Indian lands in western Ga., Tenn., and the Carolinas and forced these people onto reservations. He did many great things but this was a giant blot upon his record.

    • slickporsche

I’ve had the picture for a long time! What are you going to do about it? That is the real issue.

      • Kate8

Slick, Exactly. What ARE we to do about it?

I think Bob is right (great article, BTW), the USA is already one huge concentration camp. We have been slaves and prisoners without realizing it (until now). The whole system has been set up to continue to tighten around our necks until we find ourselves hopelessly snared. And it was so easy for them! All they had to do was keep dangling a few carrots…

Yes, what are we to do? There is no longer even a pretense of honesty or integrity among ‘elected’ officials. The system’s corruption is complete.

I don’t see how ANYTHING can change (for better or worse) without total collapse. That is the plan. I’m not sure there are enough folks with the moral courage and fortitude to stand up to the system, since they get offers they simply can’t afford to refuse. What the elites have in mind for us is not for OUR betterment, that’s for sure.

The other thing that’s for sure is that, if and when they get what they want, they will REALLY turn on each other. It’s in their natures to need to control and subjugate. They already are doing that to a large degree, and watching them is kind of fun.

Welcome to the Federal U.S. Caucasian Reservation, now for your leaders to write a Code of Federal Regulations, entitled The Bureau of Caucasian Affairs, I’ll volunteer to be the Secretary of the Bureau, and naturally, make sure all of you regardless of race, color or creed and place of origin remain in these reservations (concentration reserves) for as long as the sun rises from the east and sets on the west, as long as the little waters flow to the big waters, as long as the wind blows and the grasses grow from the mother earth toward the father sky or 90 days which ever comes first . I will make sure that you receive you provisions monthly and I will see to it that all your children are removed from their homes and relocated to the appropriate Federal school system.

      • http://donthaveone Beberoni

You do yourself and your people injustice with your words and your seeking of vengeance this way. Vengeance is my says the Lord. You also need to forgive in order to be forgiven. My ancesters were booted out of Germany by Wilhelm Kaiser, and had everything take from them, and barely made it out alive. Those people owe me nothing sir. They are dead and gone, and it would be rediculous for me to hold anger and hatred towards those in Germany now, as they had nothing to do with it, and they didnt do it to me. You keep carrying that anger, it’ll eat you up inside. Let it go. It was wrong, no doubt about it. But all those crazy people that wronged you are gone. Im white, and I dont deserve your hatred at me because of the color of my skin. Do you not see that is wrong? Sir, it is wrong. I am deeply, deeply ashamed at what white man did to the American Indian. I fully recognize it as wrong, and I still think the way the government treats Indians sucks. But dont blame me because my skin is a certain pigment. That is so wrong man, so wrong. I didnt do it, and I would never do it. But you hate me because Im white, and I cannot help that. Its the way I was born. There is only one that can heal the pain man, and that is Jesus Christ. He can take all pain, disgust, hatred, sin, dirt and all away. I know. I used to be like you.

      • dan az

        WIA
You never said what type of religion you believe in.The point is in your last life what color was your skin white? brown?what you forget is you would teach the same hate to your children generation after generation to see the white man as your enemy and this mindset will continue on untill all indians breed them selves out of existance.I have allot of indian friends from allot of different tribes that some believe the same thing as you because they where taught that way.But I have others that believed that they where better than that and had prospered from it.Living in the past is not going to make your future generations move forward so its up to you and your elders to see the past as only history and change things for the betterment of your future generations.

“Permit me to issue and control the money of a nation and I care not who makes the laws.”
-Mayer Amschel Rothschild-, founder of the Rothschild international banking dynasty, 1790

    • Matt

Good Post Jeff. I have been saying this for a very long time. These Zionist are moving towards their completion phase… a world government around a new currency. These same people control the IMF and the World Bank as well poised and ready. They have to destroy the dollar to contrive a new currency the world will succumb to, being the foundation for the world government. They create and destroy markets cyclically robbing the people all along the way.

      • Gary

Oh…its the zionists that have done this. Give me a break.

      • JeffH

        The Rothschilds are zionists!
The Israel Supreme Court is the creation of one elite family: the Rothschilds. In their negotiations with Israel, they’ve agreed to donate the building under three conditions: the Rothschilds were to choose the plot of land, they would use their own architect and no one would ever know the price of its construction. The reasons for those conditions are quite evident: the Supreme Court building is a Temple of Masonic Mystery Religion and is built by the elite, for the elite.

The Rothschilds are one of the originators of the Zionist movement and the most active actors in the creation of the state of Israel. James A. de Rothschild financed the Knesset, Israel’s main political building. Right in front of it sits the Israeli Supreme Court, donated by another member of the dynasty: Dorothy de Rothschild.

Ending the FED is a major key in stopping the Agenda that the NWO people are using to destroy the sovereignity of America and all other Nations. Educate your friends & neighbors to the truth!

To have suspected this for several years based on my observations as a typical, disinterested, rip-van-winkle American and then to have learned it first hand, and now to witness seeing the snake has shed it’s skin… thank God Many of us have finally awaken to this truth, that our nation, the home of the brave and the land of the free has been hijacked by the worst kind of vermin and parasites that greed has spawned. Thanks for putting your finger precisely on the point Bob.
I’m a vet that took my oath seriously and like every other vet I’ve served with,it’s an oath I will not cease to defend. It’s time we clean house and get things back in order. It’s not too late. When over 60% ? of the elected are lawyers who have greatly increased their coffers at the expense of those who innocently and naively believed we had the type of government set out in our Constitution, we can no longer idly stand by and wonder if things will get better on their own. They won’t and never do, on their own. Again, I say thanks Bob. When someone boldly proclaims the truth and puts the bulls eye on our enemies, it’s a lot easier to confront the enemy when they have on their appropriate colors.

      • Denniso

White men stole the land and resources from the Natives, almost as soon as they arrived. The most free in this country are generally white, wealthy, people who control most of the money and power, and the people of color struggle to keep up and create a good life for themselves and their children. The life span for all minorities is shorter and their quality of life poorer.

I got new for you Denniso. Im a sports fan. I watch Baseball, basketball, Football, Hockey, basically everything but soccer. You can keep that. A five year old can kick a ball, know what I mean. Anyhow, seems in most of these sports, predominately Basketball and Football, and a lot in baseball, folks with black skin and brown skin seem to be the majority of the participants, and they are all multi millionaires, who make more money in one year than I will see in my life. Boxers the same way. So dont come off as if only white people got money. Heck man, your boy George Soros that owns the democratic party is of brown color, from greece or somewhere. Money knows no skin color, so get over it. You always seem to go to the race card in these posts, sooner or later, you always go there. Amazing. Your like an open book, so predictable.

People are people, regardless of race or origin. There will always be dishonorable people in our midst. The best we honorable people can do is stick together and work to stop those people.

      • bruce d.

WIA I am only part Naragansett Indian but I think when people want to be looked on as victims they do to themselves what no one else can do to them. New England tribes were fighting each other long before the white man ever showed up as were the plains Indians. Naragansett Indians form a pact with Roger Williams against other hostile tribes in the area. Indians are no different from others. There are those who want what someone else has and would rather take it than work for it.

I often looked at the last Pres. Bush and thought he might be a good fraction Indian. His maternal line of Walker was an indian name to me. I even spent a few hours trying to prove it on the net. Nothing.

Even if he was just one thirty second or some such, I would think his native roots should be mentioned if known.

I like the who is related to who thing. If you go back 10 generations which I can do on several lines, you get 2^10 people if you get them all which I cannot. That is 1024 people over 200 years ago who may have had children by multiple partners due to death at an early age my the women in particular. It has happened both ways in my case. Think of the spawn of that 1024 people even if some lines terminated without issue.

But I choose to overlook color, as my Lord and Savior Jesus did. He see’s whats in the heart, and thats what matters. It doesnt matter what color, or the length of our hair, or the clothes we wear, or the bling we collect. All that is worthless vanity and it is all passing away. All of it. The soul is eternal, as are the things in our hearts. That is where the truth is, and that is what is important. You sir, are the true REAL American, and I cannot make it right what was done, and is continued to be done to the American Indian. Its a travesty, its embarrasing to me, and Im ashamed by it. Yet our own government bows down and pollycoddles to the blacks, the hispanics, the middle eastern terrorists, illegal aliens all over, and still nothing for the American Indian, and this white boy for one thinks it sucks. Nothing can be done to make up for the horrors that were perpetuated on your people. The death walk was worse than what the jew suffered under Hitler, and that was just horrible. And our country will fall to the hands of another, but it wont be because of white man, or black man or hispanic man, or American Indian man. No, it will be because of their failure to acknowledge God in his proper place. Just as the Greeks, the Romans, the Medes and Persians, who all were dynamic huge dynasties, they walked without God and were destroyed for it, and here in America, we are all to quickly walking down that same line, and less and less people see it as we move farther and farther away from Him. If you dont learn from history, you are doomed to repeat it. Evidently we havent learned, and it is repeating itself right in front of our very eyes. I apologize to you for what my ancestors did. I cannot make it right, or make it go away, only to acknowledge it and not repeat it myself. That is all I have control over, and I exercise that control not to repeat the mistakes previously committed. Insanity is described as doing the same thing over and over, and expecting a different result. Sanity is learning from mistakes and making things better. God bless you, and have a good day.

Boy, oh boy…I leave this site for a week and come back to even more
hyperbole and fear mongering. It was nice to not hear all this whining and moaning and bitching for a while.

Bob Livingston, you’ve apparently gone off the edge, just as most of these people here have. First, G.B. Shaw was an avowed socialist and yet you use him to push gold…funny. Then to say that ‘the U.S. today is a Fascist State no different than Nazi Germany’, is outrageous and absurd.Even when Bush started wiretapping anyone he wished and was using the color coded terror threat for political reasons,we were still a far cry from Hitler’s Germany. Sure, Bush’s invasion of Iraq looked much like Hitler’s unprovoked invasions of his neighbors, but we still had the process that provides for a new president and we mostly turned away from the worst offenses of Cheny/Bush. You surely know better than to make such a broad comparison between us and Hitler, yet you want to whip your followers
into more of a frenzy so you pull out the greatest boogeyman there is.
Nazi Germany and Fascism…Come on Bob. Your comment does no good for any intelligent discussion of our problems. You’re just throwing firebombs to help w/ your political/financial agenda.

      • JC

Hey Bob, thanks for helping people to understand the parallels between Nazi Germany and the police state that America is fast becoming. With so many policing / spy agencies monitoring us now I guess we can only be grateful that Hitler and Stalin didn’t have the same technology available to them.
We need to stop this “national socilialism” thing in its tracks, by whatever means necessary.

      • Average Joe Patriot

Denniso: You were gone for a week? Who knew? What brings you back? Couldn’t be the lure of eager converts to your way of thinking.

You think Livingston “know[s] better even if some of these [sic] people don’t.”

As one of “these people,” Denniso, here’s what I know:

Fascism (from Latin, fasces, the bundled axe symbol of Roman authority) took root in Italy in the 1920s (yes, back when I went to grade school they taught this stuff). Hitler adopted it from Mussolini. It was ardently supported by major national corporations in both countries (some argue that without such self-serving corporate support, there would have been no WWII). Other countries adopted forms of nationalistic fascism as well. Hitler’s National Socialism is not synonymous with fascism (any more than Nazim is synonymous with socialism).

Because of its roots, many knowledgeable people equate fascism with corporatism. In this sense, here in America we live under a form of fascism. Please feel free to vote against this reality all you like, it is one of the few remaining freedoms you are allowed–the freedom of self-delusion.

Forms of government, like political parties, are generally not what they say they are, but rather what their original perpetrators wanted the public to think they were. This why you see so few communes in communist countries, so little social reform in socialist countries, so little royal power wielded in monarchies. This is why the “republic for which we stand” is actually no longer a republic but rather a piss-poor version a democracy…a form of government which ultimately failed miserably when attempted by the ancient Greeks (and which is why so many of our founders were dead set against our fledgling nation going that route).

Over time, it seems, corporate greed inexorably erodes the best and the worst forms of government until they consume themselves and must reinvent from the scraps, or are gobbled up by larger, greedier corporatocracies.

Ours is well past its prime.

      • eddie47d

Maybe you didn’t read the whole article JC. “Show me the money” and The”toxic greed with a ponzi mentality”. What about Corporate Socialism and how they have deceived the American people and lied about how they got their wealth. They helped create the rising prices and inflation on drugs, healthcare, food, cars …..and you name it. That would be Corporate scamming legalized by Capitalistic Socialism. So should we destroy that by all means necessary?

        Deniseo,
It does not have to be identical to Nazi Germany to be fascism. Just because Bush pushed it in that direction does not give President Obama a pass. I never could understand the left viewpoint that because Bush did something wrong Obama cannot be held accountable and has every right to do it wrong also. I think you will find in November that argument did not work.

Average Joe, I agree that we have turned over much of our gov’t and society to corporate control…they own much of our gov’t and control most politicians w/ money needed to get elected and stay in office. The Republican party is actually the party of corporate America, much as the communist party in the Soviet Union was the State party that controlled most aspects of the country. There are a handful of Repubs, the so called moderates, who stand up to the corporations and there are many more Dems who do the same, and recognize that the real battle is between corporate control and control by the people through voting and citizen activism.

But to call the gov’t fascist and compare it to Nazi Germany and the atrocities and loss of actual freedom is ludricous. Can we become more like the Nazis in the future? Sure…keep fueling the hate, fear
and scapegoating of immigrants, gays, liberals, atheists, non believers, other religions, the poor, minorities, and watch us become more fascistic.

I finally got to listen to a good independant here in Indiana Dave, and his name is Scott Wise. He held his own very well in a debate with Republican Marlin Stutzman and Democrat Tom Hayhurst. The guy was articulate, well spoken, and he was not afraid to expose the truth about the liberals and Tom Hayhurst was bothered and couldnt handle the truth, and it was great watching it. All it seems Hayhurst could come up with was to try to group him with Stutzman, which isnt a bad thing. Of course this Hayhurst is a doctor who is about 70 years old and really should be retired, instead of thinking about STARTING a political career at 70. Gimme a break. But Mr. Wise was a breath of fresh air, as the guy did not bow down to political correctness once, and I for one appreciated his truthfulness and his acknowledgment of government problems and their lack of addressing them. My only fear now, is that Wise and Stutzman will split votes, and the undeserving Hayhurst will get into office. That would really suck.

Slick, the Second Amendment is America’s best health and life insurance policy, and no frickin’ insurance agent or lobbyist was needed to get it.

      • Denniso

Don’t be freaking ridiculous. Your little guns would do you absolutely NO good if we didn’t have the right to vote and keep the country 1/2 sane and 1/2 balanced. You children really think your little play guns would stand up against any modern military w/ evil intentions directed toward the people?? Get a life.

      • Craig

Ummm yep, those children Afghanies stood up against the big evil Russians. Those children colonials stood up against the big evil Brits. You failed at history, didn’t you?

      • Charles

Hey, Denniso, the “little guns” in the hands of the various resistance movements made a big difference in WWII. They kept the Nazis in a constant state of agitation.

      • JC

America…1770. maybe you heard about it Denniso?

      • Karolyn

OMG – You can’t compare us to the Afghanis or to the colonials. Knock, knock—-IT’S A DIFFERENT WORLD! Why on earth would any American put guns for killing humans into kids’ hands, never mind their own. I believe you are the anti-Americans and should move to a more repressive country to keep you under control.

      • JC

Karolyn, you must be one of those myopic folks who actually believe “it couldn’t happen here”. Guess what, it is happening…right here, right now.
And you better hope that the Patriotic Americans are going to carry your weight….again. Because you emotionally based folks are going to be as much help as you ever were…which is none.

      • Average Joe Patriot

…And, Craig? You fail to mention: Those puny toy guns have, last I checked, tied up the best equipped, best funded military force history has ever known…for nine years. With no end in sight. Our tax dollars (and our children’s blood) at work, for who knows how long? Against a small segment of a nation under 20 million.

You mention Afghans against the Soviets and the American Colonies against Great Britain. Let’s not forget the Cuban revolutionaries; the Vietnamese, Algierians, and Haitians against the French; the Chinese peasants vs. the Kuo Min Tang; the Texicans against Santa Ana. And how many people realize that Florida’s Seminoles never surrendered to the US Army? We gave up.

Dennisimo sounds a lot like the naysayers just prior to the American Revolution. “You really think a rabble of farmers with squirrel rifles can even hope to square off with the mightiest, best equipped, wealthiest army in the world? They have warships, warm uniforms, unlimited supplies, cannon, and bayonets! Trained professional regulars! Plus they control the ports, the roads, the cities and major towns, the official press…they’re already an occupying force! You have…squirrel guns?”

        Nah, guess not…

The problem with the US government declaring open war on its subjects is the same one they’re having in Afghanistan (same one the Zionists have with the Palestinians). Sure, they could drop bunker busters on us, hose vast areas down with DU and chemicals, strafe whole villages and napalm a bunch of forest land, poison water supplies, scorch the earth… But the moment they start that, all hell breaks loose.

Certainly you can kill a killer bee with a BB, no dispute. But the instant you fire one into the nest, it really doesn’t matter how many BBs you’ve got, or how many shooters. You’re not going to kill ten thousand bees unless you’re prepared to blow up the whole hive. Which of our genius selected officials is going to push that plunger?

How many gun owners are there in the US? How many guns? How many military willing to open fire on their family and neighbors? How many who wouldn’t simply shuck their uniforms and join the “rabble”? How many pissed off vets who haven’t forgotten their training and experience in overseas debacles dating back to Viet Nam (Korea, even–still a few 70-odd year-old vets to be seen at a rifle range, steady as ever), and as recently as Iraq?

Heck, there’s probably enough willing firepower in Watts and East LA alone to tie up an army indefinitely. Are they going to bomb Los Angeles?

      • http://GOGGLE vaksal

TO;denniso, those little guns, have kept the would be dictators at bay all through history, and the only reason we still have freedom here in the U.S.A. is because those tiny guns are owned by free men and women in this nation,if it was otherwise, you and i wouldn,t have the right to voice what we think on this site,by the way,if you are so correct, tell it to those who fought against the enemys of freedom in every nation of this planet, those little guns made the differance always and always will.

This also hindered them from using their full number of their forces against China and America. koreans have always been freedom fighters and not comfort lovers. AverageJoePatriot – If they go ahead and blow up a US city or do something equally lethal, they will do what they always do. They will blame it on some ‘enemy’, and rally Americans to war.

The weasels in government are already planning this, and they have their safe, plush bunkers stocked and ready to go.

And now we hear that “chatter is high” and terrorist operatives are inside the US, planning another attack. They are telling us that the threat level is up to where it was just prior to 9/ll.

And so close to an election. Gee whiz.

      • JeffH

Kate8, you’re more right than wrong on that…stay vigilant as always.

      • Denniso

If Bob Livingston and some here are correct, that we are as much a fascist state as Nazi Germany was, then it would follow that all the
privately owned guns and millions of rounds of ammo haven’t prevented
our descent into Fascism. You can’t have it both ways…either all the guns in our country have kept us free, or their presence has done no good and we are as bad off as Germany was.

      • Denniso

So then you agree that we are mostly free in this country? Not a Fascist State?

      • Mike In MI

No, Denniso – Sorry to say, we’re not “mostly free, still”.

You’re obviously either quite young or have gotten used to the slow inexhorable advance of the steam-roller. See, what you don’t realize is that people who are dedicated to Devilish goals work slowly and over decades to do Satan’s dirty work. They need to subvert the principles of whole cultures; like they have here. It’s seldom speed revolution like in Russia in 1917; he works transgenerationally – especially where the populace is largely Christian.
God can, with a few committed kids who know His Word and love Him, whip Satan’s derierre into a frothy, pitiful gumbo. And, He enjoys doing it. There have been pitched battles where believers never lost a life and won against overwhelming odds. The evil doers have to overturn belief of God’s evident Will in His Word. When that is taken away everything is up for grabs – no matter what the weaponry.
Everything depends on electricity. God flips that off and on in a second, snuffs fuzes, redirects bullets in flight, makes the visible invisible, turns a genius to an idiot, turns a “sure-thing” to a rout.
But, you wouldn’t be likely to consider something like that, would you? Sometimes, it just takes a few to get clear and focussed-in on what they (and He) want to make HUGE things happen.
But, who knows? The speed with which the darkness is advancing makes me wonder if this isn’t the buildng-up to Satan’s final push to try to keep what he took by deceit – before God takes back dominion over what is HIS.
Time will tell. In the meantime, we still work like crazy to nullify those who hate God, His son and the Truths He revealed. Giving in when I have everything to live for and God to glorify versus begging for “Peace – at any price,” is just too expensive.

      • Denniso

You don’t get my point. The people who think that guns are keeping us free also turn around and say that we now live in a Fascist state,so then we’re actually not free. That’s illogical…either we’re free or not. I don’t think we’re free enough, but I don’t believe for a second that personal gun ownership does a thing for real freedom. We have more guns in society than ever and more than any other country in the world, yet we are losing personal freedoms for the past 50 yrs…what freedom did you guns preserve when Cheny/Bush started secretly spying on Americans and tapping any phone conversation they chose, all w/ any legal basis or judicial review? What do your guns do to protect the privacy rights of people in their own home to imbibe a little plant that helps their pain from cancer? Do all the guns we own help allow us to travel to a country of our choice, like Cuba? If you happen to be or look Latino, how do guns permit you to travel freely and not harassed around the country?
If you need expensive healthcare, how do all the guns help you stay out of bankruptcy if your insurance has been capped or canceled?

You, Mike, sound a little flaky about your battles between God and the make believe Devil, when the real battles are right here on the face of the earth between real people who want to help one another and those who want a world of force and violence where ‘survival of the strongest’ rules. If there were a God like you imagine who cared about us in a personal way,we would see the result by now after a million yrs of human existence…the ‘Devil’ would not continue to have any power against an all powerful God, again an Oxymoron, who loves us as his children. You’re letting myth control your once rational mind.

None of that was revealed, and none of it still is revealed. The uneducated temper tantrum caused this big mess. Now though, as a result, America woke up. People arent going to repeat this mistake in 2012. Chances are, the democrats wont even allow him to run for re-election, as they know he is un-electable. And thats the facts, jack.

If your talking about mansanto and big pharms I have to agree with you if you look at who owns them then you would see they are one and the same but the differance is that you work and get paid for your labor with one and dont expect a raise unless you produce but with the other they are no better than the unions that take your money for producing anything of value and give them selves a raise. The more the gov. takes from you the less you have to help the economy go forward of course that is if your one of them in which case you would not pay taxes because you would just be paying your self. For every person that is employed by big brother the less people there are that pay no taxes. That dosent sound like a very productive way to fix the economy does it?

      • dan az

sorry that should read pay taxes.

    • HFlashman

One has to almost laugh at the adsurdity of these posts today. Yes…absurdity. In 1981, the average CEO salary was 31 times that of the average working man’s salary. Today it is 234 times the average salary of the working man. Real income gains have dropped for the average American, while increasing 60% for thos earning over $250,000/year. With the exception of the Clitnon tax cuts and 9hopefully) Obama’s success in getting past the party of ‘No’…the average middle calss level of taxation has increased overall…the level of taxation for those in the Upper Incomes has decreased. Taxation on Big Corporations has bcome a joke…with the majority of te Fortune 500 paying less than 10% in taxation whil the monies from the public coffers has increased.

Our freedoms, liberties and Rights have been under direct and aggressive attack since 1980. If in 1980 anyon would have stated the GOP and Right would have stripped us to where we ar today, there would have been a rebellion. Yet we allowed fear, hate, and robotic following of a monied right wing propoaganda machine lead this Nation to irrational support of policies which have stripped the Middle Class and the masses to being almost powerless.

So now the party of “No”, the party of foreign money…is leading the atack against incumbents. Wonder why since the GOp would pick up those seats and return to majority…and thus continue to strip us naked.

Yet…the robots, the ones led by fear and hate…the lower tiers of intelligence those ready to go on a christian jihad because they believe they are annointed…

Yep…they’ll put back the very same who have but one goal in mind and targeted….the Middle Class and anyone who wouldendanger the entrenched elite and wealthy.

      Nice…reallll nice

      • DaveH

Corporations don’t pay tax, people do. The joke is that so many dumbocrats believe otherwise. When a corporation’s tax is raised they do one of 3 things: raise the price of their products (the consumer pays the tax), or lay off workers (the worker pays the tax with the loss of his/her job), or they move out of the country (all their workers pay with the loss of their jobs).
While the Liberals are voting under the influence of their green-eyed envy, Government is robbing all of us blind.

      • Denniso

If corporations don’t pay tax,we do,then why do almost all business and corporate interests fight to lower or eliminate taxes on themselves? It’s not as simple as DaveH wants it to appear, that it’s all the fault and theft by the gov’t.

      • HFlashman

Jeesh…”corporations don’t pay tax, people do” That is so wrong in so many ways.

Typical 7th grade simplistic mentality grasping for concepts beyond their limited capability. Such are the targets for the Party of “No’ propaganda lying machine.

      • Average Joe Patriot

Deniso and Flash, you’re thinking in reverse gear. Corporations are made of people, hence, if a corporation is taxed, it is the producing people who are paying taxes. “Corporation” is a concept, individuals are people. Why do the heads of large corporations fight taxes? In order not to be taxed, obviously; and they are big enough and rich enough to ensure they pay as little as possible (e.g. Big Oil), and they can do this in a hundred ways. Not the least of which is, of course, directly passing the taxes on to consumers.

And before any of you nit-picky semanticist/legalists point out that I’ve elsewhere said that treating a “corporate entity” as a “human entity” is a major source of our problems (a key tool in our ongoing subjugation), I want to make clear that corporate taxes are Constitutional, and individual income taxes are not. Yet since 1913, things have become reversed. A trust or corporation has many, many ways to legally avoid taxes (one year I recall Ted Kennedy paid $700, in a year when I paid more, working two jobs just to stay afloat), while the individual does not have these myriad loopholes available to him/her.

Ultimately, under our system it is always the individual producer who pays the taxes, because taxes can’t be paid by a “concept.” That producer might work for a corporation or he might not, but the “concept” doesn’t ultimately pay, we do. (But, try suing someone who is poisoning your water and you’ll find out just how quickly that “concept” gets between you and your adversary. He will don his golden corporate parachute while your children die.)

      • Warlord X

One reason corporations shouldn’t be taxed, but required to put excess earnings into dividends, is because when they pay dividends from their profits, those dividend are taxed a SECOND time as ordinary income (until Jan 2011 then it goes from 15% to 39.6%). Where is the fairness or justice in that?

I am often incredulous how little progressives actually understand business or the tax system. What part of ‘the consumer pays ALL the taxes’ don’t you grasp?

      • DaveH

That was a rebut, a fabricated fact and a personal attack? Do you Liberals really think you influence anybody but the hopelessly ignorant?

      • http://donthaveone Beberoni

Ive got no problem with a CEO making way more than I do. He has a lot more responsibility than me, he has taken his education level higher than I have, and chances he or her is probably smarter than I am. When things go bad, who gets fired? They do, not me. If youve got a problem with rewarding people for success, then you are part of the problem, just like Obama. He seeks to punish the sucessful and tax the living hell out of them, then reward failures like GM and Chrysler with billions of dollars, as a reward for not properly running their business. Dont blame it on the economy. Ford made it through ok, and it doing great. Honda, Toyota and Hyundai didnt need bailed out. Sucess should be rewarded. And failures should be noted, not rewarded. Get it straight.
