Conservatives Blast GOP, Cheer Tea Party SuccessTuesday’s slew of Tea Party candidates’ primary victories may have stunned and upset some Republicans, but there are many conservatives who have been energized by these results. They have also blasted GOP leaders for not understanding how angry and disappointed many voters are with their policies.

Among the most vocal activists was Richard A. Viguerie, chairman of ConservativeHQ.com, who said that leaders such as Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and John Boehner (R-Ohio) have lost control of the Republican Party and are about to be unseated by grassroots constitutional conservatives.

“All across the country Americans feel betrayed by Republican politicians,” Viguerie stated, adding that the recent primaries “show that the grassroots anger is directed at more than just the Obama-Reid-Pelosi Democrats.”

Family Research Council (FRC) Action representatives expressed similar views, saying that conservative voters have had enough of moderate Republican candidates who “don’t stand for anything.”

FRC Action is scheduled to hold its annual Values Voter Summit this weekend and has invited Christine O’Donnell, the newly elected GOP Senate nominee and Tea Party-supported candidate from Delaware, to deliver a speech at the event.

      chuck b, I recieved an email that indicated that some potential new electees had signed on to the “Impeach Obama Campaign”. They’ve been under the radar but there might be some dialogue for that very thing should the “House” change take place.

      Very good article JeffH, All we have to do is look at Denmark and look how out of control they have become by letting Gay openly serve in their military. Look at the tolerance they have had toward Muslim extremist now they are afraid to do anything there government is in disarray trying to appease everyone. You would think we’d have enough sense to see what others have done and failed at miserably, no we are to busy trying to follow the same path to destruction. If we don’t take it back I believe Americans are going to have to make some serious choices just as our patriots did. I just wonder which side the military will be on. Enough is Enough the politically elite who and the liberal progressives in this country who feel they are intellectually entitled to tell the rest of it’s citizens what is best for them. Just like all governments those that run the government have control over it’s citizens. I hope we vote these individuals out then clean our universities out from these 60′s free loving American doomers.

    It’s about time for Americans to be waken up. Fifty years of bad government has got us where we are. Government not doing anything but padding their pockets off the sweat of hard working Americans. Look at us Welfare for do nothing as well as Welfare for the world

    The money we send over seas, supporting the High and might of those governments just like our own. Subsidies for everything under the sun. Laws that are written in legal jargon that no one can understand.

    The UN trying to mandate what we are to do and we pay the taxes from hard working Americans to fund and keep up the building. A federal reserve that gave over two million away and has yet to tell its citizens who got the money.

    Judges who have put their personal agenda’s on deciding the what the law should be, when are the innocent going to have an advocate rather than the criminal who seems to have more rights? They have it named correctly the Criminal Justice System. It needs to be the Innocent Justice System, justice for the innocent.

    When is someone going to tackle the gangs in America that is domestic terrorist. Who hold Americans hostage because they may be in the wrong place by mistake at the wrong time. Who is going to be an advocate for our rights to carry a gun and protect ourselves and family.

    We are living in Extra Ordinary Times and we need Extra Ordinary men/women to step up and put a stop to the madness that all politicians have allowed to transpire in this great Nation.

    Look what they have done they have taken our prayer out of schools and we let them, they have aborted our children and we have let them, they want our guns and they want us to be tolerant of everyone and just shut up. They have destroyed our educational system and allow those on the far left to teach death to America in our university’s, schools and hand out condoms.

    So have we had Enough America have we finally said Enough is Enough. If not; how much more are we going to allow them to put on us? It’s time for those Extra Ordinary Individuals who love our Country our Patriots and our Constitution to stand up and mean it when they say We have had Enough. If not then all I can say is Suffer America We Ain’t had Enough Yet. I certainly hope all of us have had Enough and we put this country back on the path of prosperity and patriotism again.

There are people that were born in the early 30 on, that really bought in to the SS crap. Later Medicare beleif of the 60′s and government would make healthcare cheap. The same time the clowns that went to college in the late 50′s on, the an enlighting phase of drugs and live off of some one else work evolved. The seventy’s brought the attitude of screw any one or any any thing you could get a hold of, and more damn government programs. Do nothing but theorize and mess up every thing they touch. The elitist beltway pus guts keep promoting more schooling, is a farce. The present load of degreed idoits cann’t even find a job now, I have surpervised more degreed 30+ year old clowns who are unemployable. These are generational smucks that buy into this bildgre, being put out by schools from the first day of class. Since the 80′s check out companies that only want degreed people in any form of management, I don’t care if it retail, building, construction, even engineering. As engineering has only kept and gathered the elit students, the ability to think out of the box and build or develope anything new. They can take a developed product and refine it, but the new ideas come from some person out with their boots on the ground. Quoted from heads of engineering colleges. Our citizens have gotton more stupid and staid in new ideas and what is real, socialist democrats sure prove that fact of taking the same failed methods and just putting them on steriods and repeating as often as they are elected. If you think that isn’t a fact look at what more businesses are hiring grads from state colleges instead of Havaard or Yale or any of the other high dollar schools. Same s–t different day, just look at the smuck lawyers in Comgress and in the WH, snaky, lying, elitist, crooked, stupid as a pile of dung. Even more worthless, dung gets broken down by the elements and it will help grow grass, lawyer just start off growing graff.

      I am a degreed engineer. I’m formally educated through the master’s level. I was an automation engineer (retired) for several large and well-known companies.
      I have worked with and seen many engineers in my day. I’ve seen some pretty bad engineers with good educations, but frankly I’ve never seen a good engineer without an engineering education. Like a doctor or lawyer, an engineer needs certain basic skills that can only be acquired through education. Once that base level is reached, experience, talent, and hard work become more relevant.
      So i41, before you trash a college education, that you obviously lack, realize that America reached greatness because of innovative and KNOWLEDGABLE people. If you don’t believe that, then next time you need a doctor, call someone who never went to med school.

        Since we are bragging—my son is an engineer with IDOT (20 years) -he has done really well, college education, excels in all mathematics, draws the blueprints for interstates, is an artist (charcoal drawings) nice job, good salary, nice home, nice cars–’90 red Pontiac Firebird, ’04 Ford Expedition, ’69 Camaro, (never got “into” foreign cars) he likes American cars. The cars may not impress anyone but they are made in the US. He saves his money, and when he buys a big item he pays cash. He does not live beyond his means. He is a good person. Me? I graduated from high school and the school of hard knocks. I have always worked like a dog to get ahead, I learned, and I succeeded in doing what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I am happy with my life, I may not be the richest person in the world, but I AM happy.

        My oldest son starts his senior year at IU Bloomington, my middle son is currently in the army stationed in Korea, my youngest son is the top of his 6th grade class, and my daughter is going to nursing school. Sorry, I like to brag about my kids. They’ve worked hard for everything they have and will go far in this world. By the way, my oldest 3 children are going to vote this year and they give me the attitude of voting for someone who doesn’t support Obama bin Laden. I guess that they’ll vote with their heads this year and in 2012. The children of the samurai, all very smart and good people indeed. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

    From what I’ve seen most of the people at the Tea Parties are from Generation X and the people running for office and winning are genxrs also. I was telling people 15 years ago that the baby boomers were screwing this country up,in business,in politics and in the courts and that if generation x didn’t fix things when we had the chance,America as we knew it would gone forever.

This is what concerns me, some of the ones that have won the primaries have said some really stupid stuff. Some of the things they say is really off the wall. It has made me wonder what they have “upstairs.” I think we should be dang careful.

        Claire, personally, the only reason I wouldn’t support Huckabee is because he’s an old guard somewhat moderate Republican although I think he’s probably an OK person. What his son did with his friend to the dog, and I’m reading several different scenarios as to what they did and slitting the throat could be as much a part of the rumor mill as hanging or stoning the dog, is inexcusable. I’m not going to base my impression of Huckabee off of some biased liberal based reporting and that is why this incident also targets Huckabee. I do understand that he told the “authorities” to treat his son like any other kid…but we also pretty much know that a Gov will get considerations whether he asked for it or not.
        I think we’ve all done things in our youth that certainly weren’t any indication of how our parents raised us, so I’m not going to judge Huckabee based on his kids stupidity.

I know that my family is not and we have 4 votes in my home this year and 2 of which are under 25 years old, two more that which they could vote but since they can’t they are working to get the message out for tea party minded candidates in out state, and one other thing they all worked this summer and are using there money to help kick out the bums because they see there future at stake.

        MM has a long time to wait. My 30 year old and my 20 year old both are good conservatives and have long believed in the greatness and freedoms of our country! They both revere the vets that have sacrificed for this country. Especially the ultamate sacrifice!! both of their boyfriends feel the same way as well.         None of the Founding Fathers were atheists. They did not deny that there was a person called Jesus, and praised him for his benevolent teachings, but they flatly denied his divinity. Some people speculate that if Charles Darwin had lived a century earlier, the Founding Fathers would have had a basis for accepting naturalistic origins of life, and they would have been atheists. Most of them were stoutly opposed to the bible, and the teachings of Christianity in particular.

        The Dems and the RINO’S need to fear the fact that finally and I do mean FINALLY middle and mainstream America have found their voices and have finally realized the power of their vote.
        We are tired of these stupid politicians getting into office for life, and when they move to Washington they forget what day to day living in America is all about.
        Washington DC has a lifestyle of its own with an elitest attitude. They seem to think they have suddenly become better than the rest of us and should dictate to us how we are to act, feel and think.
        They are so enamored with their power that they forget who it is that they work for, in fact they think we are around to serve them. This is evident even in the salary that they have given themselves. These people have someone to drive them around and have that same someone fill up their gas tanks. They don’t get to a grocery store any more, or go shopping so they really have no clue what its like to live a normal life.
        Why should they have a budget? They have us as their servants provide more and more money for their whims and wishes.
        Yep, its time for them to fear us as we are tired of this nonsense, and we aren’t going away!

        I always made the max for SS and now my taxed benefits are only a small part of my income. As an Engineer, I was paid well for the knowledge that I acquired over many years of hard work and dedication. My New England thriftiness led me to make some sound financial moves.
        My wife is younger than I am and she was able to retire early. She doesn’t collect SS at all.
        You seem to be easily swayed into your beliefs without any concern for truth or accuracy. You are typical extremist material.

        My parents lived through the depression of the 30′s and were not very rich or excessively religious. They instilled in me a belief in the US, a respect for the law, and a regard for hard work to reach ones goals and dreams. Honesty, fairness, self-confidence, and the highest moral conduct were the virtues that enabled me to live my American dream. My parents weren’t members of any radical political movements, or extreme Christian groups. They were just common folks who made this country work.
        I believe that I passed the word to my kids and it looks as though I have.

Simply because in my town the tea party is ran by Republicans and the way I look at it, the tea party should be neutral. Okay, that said, I will also inform you that yes, I will soon enter the 7th decade of my life. Old, probably to you, yes. To me, never. I will match my wits against yours any day of the week, plus my energy and my fortitude. So you want the elderly to die–did you feel the same way about your parents? Did you want them to die? Did you want your grandparents to die? Be careful when you mention death, death can come at any age, even yours.
      And you want the young adults under 25 years of age to be running this country? If you are under 25, you are giving yourself too much credit. At the age of 25 I thought I knew everything too. Then I grew up and realized what life was all about. Life is not simple, life is not easy sometimes. You apparently have had an easy life.
