Internet Kill Switch Bill On Senate Short List

The Internet Kill Switch Bill I’ve told you about before (here, here, here and here) continues to evolve and is creeping closer to reality.

According to Moneycontrol.com, two separate bills — one pushed by Senators Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.), Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Thomas Carper (D-Del.) and another backed by Senators Jay Rockefeller (D-W.Va.) and Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) — have been combined and are now on the Senate’s short list for passage.

The new bill would give the power to shut down the Internet in case of national emergency to the Department of Homeland Security. Under the bill the Internet could be closed down for four months before Congress could review it. The bill would also require cybersecurity professionals be certified.

The elected elites couch the bill as necessary for national security, but Lieberman let slip the real reason when he told CNN’s Candy Crowley, “Right now China — the government — can disconnect parts of its Internet in a case of war. We need to have the ability to do that, too.”

Of course, China disconnects portions of the Internet whenever there’s civil strife, as do other totalitarian regimes. It’s done to suppress the flow of information. Elites hate the free flow of information.

Rockefeller has gone so far to say he wishes the Internet had never been invented and we still communicated with paper and pencil.

Senate aides told Moneycontrol.com the bill faces a number of hurdles but the goal is to get the bill passed and on President Barack Obama’s desk by the end of the year. The bill could come up in the next four weeks, or it could be much later, aides said.

This bill is about one thing: The totalitarian suppression of free speech. The elites and corporate press know they have lost control of the message. This has resulted in the rise of the Tea Party and general discontent over the direction of the American political system. That frightens the fascists on both sides of the aisle.

The Internet Kill Switch Bill is their effort to regain control.

    These people are crazy! ALL business and corporate America depend on the Internet! Everybody’s phone, cable TV, banking, grocery stores, department stores, drug stores, stock market, gas stations, electric power co., water works, hard ware stores, police department and yes even the military literally every thing that we do is connected to the Internet in some way. If the Internet goes down ALL this STOPS instantly! We would be defenseless from attack! You won’t be able to by or sell anything in America! Ever go the a store or a gas station and they tell you the computers are down and they can’t sell you anything, that because they lost their Internet connection! Every body would lose their jobs and we would go back to the stone age, not even a third world country. A group of boy scouts can take over America, as long as they have their finger on that button! He who control that button rules America. This kind of power can not be allowed! America need to wake up!

    The reply I just gave a few minutes ago I wish to say that I address it to anyone who wants to know the ‘whole truth’ concerning everything that is going on in the government and the world and also what is going on in the Catholic Church since the 1960′s. it is all part of the One World Government and the One World Religion.

    Believe me, I have enough information that will blow your mind. I know so, because this is exactly what happened to me when I learned everything. The ‘fullness of the truth’ made me so nervous that I had to put away all my ‘research work’ papers and force my mind to stop thinking about anything other than my job and raising my children. The ‘complete truth’ made me that nervous

      Sylvia, my research/re-education goes back to the mid-’70s. Dole out what you know in teaspoon amounts. Most Americans are not yet ready for everything they need to know.
      It’s bad enough that there are so many people around the world working for evil. Couple that with the Biblical idea that ‘we do not fight against flesh and blood,’ and it gets spooky and mind-blowing in a hurry. ‘Public education’ can be countered, but it takes time. Sadly, I don’t think we have much time left.

        Yep…so true s c. I went through a range of emotions…to the point I had to walk away for awhile and settle down for a few days. Then I went to try & prove myself wrong & only came up with more truth after cross researching topics at several different sites as I dug for information. Of course I found sites trying to debunk it all…but often I got the feel of how desperate & resorting to cussing and trying to make anyone who says such things seem like a crazy tin foil hat wearer. It became readily apparent what the truth was…especially once you got down deep and read into history. Who the people were that were involved, what organizations they were attached to…what those organizations and other people they associated with did…etc.

        End result…

        I finally had to accept that what is happening has been a planned event. A planned attack and that those people are real. The UN, CFR, Trilateral Commision and Bilderbergs really are profiting from War and working both sides of the conflicts, etc in order to destroy the Sovereignty of Nations to create a New World Order. A return to Feudalism where there is the upper elite crust and the rest of us are closely monitored, controlled cattle to feed their desires. Now they are using Islam like a tool and when the time is right…they will then turn on each other as well as neither can exist with the other…but both are weaker than America when we wake up as a Nation.

        They can’t destroy America through force so they have gone deceptive and are destroying us from within. How else can a man who hasnt’ even proven that he’s an American become our President? What would such a man do? Listen to what Mike Savage is saying now days and see what his research has led him to say about the truth of what is happening and who Obummer is. Mr. Savage’s toon changed because he Awakened. Let’s hope this awakening continues because I also feel we are running out of time.

        Indeed…its scarcely believable…so spoonfull’s at a time is recommended for the majority. It really blows your mind, my brothers & sisters and that alone is a defence for the people we are talking about. Patriots before us have tried to come out & speak the truth…such as Jim Tucker, Daniel Estulin, Alex Jones, Luke Rudkowski, Mike Savage, Lt. Col. Terry Lakin, Capt. William Morgan, John Todd, and even Scott Wolter as he give verification to what he believes is a Land Claim stone called the Kenningston Runestone.

        I will take it one step further and say it out loud because it must be said…unfortunately, the Deep level Mason’s are Illuminati. This organization has been warned about since their inception in 1776. The bottom of the piramid on the one dollar doesn’t celebrate the founding of America on that date…but the Illuminati who now have their fingers into everything now. Get educated while you can…they are attempting to take that opportunity away from you by implementing the “kill switch”. It’s what all tyranical regime’s have done…quell the flow of information in order to keep their control.

        It’s all like a mathematical equation. Once you start looking at the information (dots) and then step back & look at it from a distance…a picture begins to take form. It’s irrefutable, historical evidence that is glaring at us. We all have but to wake up and see the truth that History has laid out for us.

        I’ve been reading all the responses on this and I must say God bless you all for hard times are coming in this country. May our Father in heaven watch over his own. I’m not of any religion, but have the Father in my heart and he is who I praise above all the religions of man.
        I sense God in a lot of you and don’t thank your church for that, thank your Father who is within all his children who love true freedom and hate evil no matter what form it takes.
        Not to get off the subject, but I see all the storms how they intensify every year getting stronger and stronger all the time. God is working for us on the other side and don’t give up on him. He knows what is coming way before we do.
        Just for the record, though I don’t expect any of you to believe this, but I will state this whether you beleive it or not. God has turned satan loose for the last time. Kayos is about to break out in this country and when it does, evil shall be within this country as never seen before. Not even the civil war can be an example of what’s coming down. Yet, two incidents in history one, stated in the Bible, and one in the Egyptian War Records.
        In the bible, was a mention of a war where Gods people gathered at night to war against their enemy the next day. But when they awoke found all 185,000 of their enemy dead by mysterious circumstances.
        In the Egyptian war records is of a gathering of all of Egypts armies to fight their enemy the next day. Yet, the next morning all of their enemy was dead to the last man. Mysteriously.
        You may think I’m a nut, and foolish, but I believe something is going to happen that will clean all evil from off the face of this earth and it’s going to have Gods hands all over it. Yet few shall be left once evil is truly removed.
        I love my freedom as much as you all do and I can sense the anger for what’s going on with our government. Governments have always been evil in my eyes. I truly believe good people need no laws to know how to live in harmony with each other in all aspects of life. Though I own no guns though I have owned guns, I believe each person with a brain and a heart can own, and do whatever they like as long as they don’t push their ideology on others. I belong to no church, for God is within me, as he is in all who know who they are, not in men’s eyes, but Gods eyes.
        I truly believe we may wake up one morning as Gods people did in the Bible and find our enemies mysteriously gone. The same happened to the Egyptians. God has come many times to earth and tried to teach man in all generations of truths beyond the teachings of men, but men always have their own ways.
        May no one take this wrong, for if I have to fight to protect my fellow men, and give my life to save another, I will. I can be as blood thirsty as the next guy, but I pray I don’t have to and I pray none of us will have to.
        As God watched over his people who stayed in their homes on the night his spirit went through Egypt slaying all first born of Egypt, so shall that same truth sweep through this country and clear out all evil once and for all. You see, I don’t pray for peace. I pray for all evil, in Gods eyes, to be removed. If evil is taken, peace is left.

        I’m right there with you , brother. It is as I have been commenting on it within my family. God is still in control, has always been in control and will continue to be in control through all of the coming days. I was just reading in my Bible yesterday about all that happened in the old testament prior to the Israelites being banished to Babylon (Amos 9:10)and about who would be the ones who would be purged from God’s sight. God didn’t say that it would be the ones serving Him, he said that he would be casting out the sinners from among his people.
        Another scripture that has an interesting message to is found in the book of Revelation 21:8. Here it clearly speaks of what will happen to those who do the things that this current LOSER washington administration is bringing forth. All I can say is that if you don’t want to spend eternity in hell with the likes of obama and his cronies and the upper echelon elite who are destroying the world as we know it, make sure that you know Jesus Christ personally. Hell is going to be full of these low life scumbag types that are ruining everything that our fore fathers put together. If you don’t want to read the Bible, by all means read the book titled “23 Minutes in Hell”. It is a real eye opener to what hell is really about and is backed up by over 150 scriptures found in God’s word, The Holy Bible. Until then I am keeping my nose clean and campaigning for the Heavenly Father. God will make everything right and those muslims….unless they repent and acknowledge Jesus Christ, well let’s just say that they are all hell bound. People make choices all the time, just make sure that you make the right one with God in mind.

        I notice you leave out any mention of what level in the masons that knoledge begins. My father was an active mason for over 50 years. he was also a deacon in the Baptist church. He would give a man the shirt off of his back and ask for nothing in return except to maybe pass the favor on if you ever became able. I never heard a racist word out of his mouth. he raised three kids without the benefit of a wife till I was fifteen as his first and second wives died.My mom or step mom, if you want to get technical, died not long ago as a good many here probably remember me telling of it. My dad worked for about 65 years to make sure we always had what we needed and only retired when they made him he was just shy of 90 years old when he diedand got a well deserved rest. Now does this sound like a person that would join ANY organization like you speak of??? Oh, and the reason I made the comment on levels, is that in the past if I said my dad was a 12 degree they would say “oh it starts at 14 th degree. If I said he was a fifteenth degree they would say 17 was the magic number or 20th or 300th!!! give me a break!

        Often in times past (but things are changing now that the internet dissiminates information so easily & people are waking up in droves) back then many Masons didn’t know what was going on in the deeper levels of their organization.

        If you fully read what I & others have been saying, that there are indeed many good men who are members of the Masons. They are totally unaware of what goes on in the deeper degrees in their special meetings that only the highest of Masons are able to attend. They are there specifically for the reason to be the human face on the deeper, darker workings. By having this outer shell, they put up a facade of normalness to the public image. They are there purposefully and will not reach the deeper degrees for this reason as they provide a buffer.

    Thirty years ago I became interested in “the other news” Such as the Spotlight, a populist newspaper that was shut down by government pressure and was then restarted as American Free Press. At that time I had a hard time believing whay they were saying was true. It just seemed so far out of the mainstream. Now I realize that what they were preaching is coming to pass. A majority of this country is living with their heads in the sand and the sooner we wake up the better. Don’t ever think that it it can’t Happen in America. Ask any other country that has been taken over and I’ll bet they thought it couldn’t happen there either. Our problem is that we have been slowly manipulated and changed to a point where we don’t even resemble the nation our Constitution was built upon. Who’s fault is this you might ask? Try looking in the mirror. We have been lulled into becoming complacent, fat and lazy citizens who have forgotten how to stand up for our freedoms. That has to change as fast as this November election by everyone getting involved and taking our country back. If that doesn’t happen, it’s no ones fault but our own. Make it your priority to influence everyone you have contact with to the importance of this election and voting out the crooked politicians.

    Many of you haven’t lived long enough to see just how much of our freedoms have been taken away by this government that was supposedly created by the states for the benefit and protection of the states. Yes, that’s how it all began and the safeguards to prevent that government from getting too big were put in place by our founding fathers. The only problem is that we have not been using those safeguards as was planned by those founding fathers. We have allowed our educational system to be infiltrated by Marxists, Socialists and even Communists to teach their phylosophies to our youth and to endoctrinate them to a different way of life while the politicians began restricting the teachings of our rich heritage and the values that we actually stand for. Are you getting the picture? We are being taken over without a single shot being fired. Isn’t that what Carl Marx predicted? I think it’s time to screw up Carl Marx’s theory. It’s time to start firing some shots and it’s time to start deporting those who want to live in a society other than a Republic. If we, in this country, are going to restrict any freedoms at all, then it should be the freedom to change our way of life from the foundation it was originally built on. If we are going to pass any laws to restrict any religous freedoms, then it should be a law that forbids any religion that advocates inhialating all other religions other than it’s own. I.E., Islam! Understand that the Quran advocates the practice of deception as one of its commandments to achieve its end results. That includes Obama telling us that he is a Christian. I don’t buy it! Islam is not merely a religion, it is a way of life. It is an entire phylosophy an plan for the existance of a society which includes Shiria law.

      I agree, Patti. All Freedom Lovers need to carefully note which of their Senators and Representatives vote for any Internet Regulation Bill. Then at the next election, vote every one of those self-absorbed politicians out of office. No Forgiveness.
      This is one we can’t afford to let them sneak by us.
      I am simply going to tell all of my Representatives that a vote for “any” internet regulation will lose them my vote, and that I will email all my friends and relatives to inform them of such.

        When I was younger there used to be a saying “freedom of the press is for those who own presses” It was a cute jab at MSM of the time. With the advent of personal computers came things like BBS’s and Usenet and more and more people had access to presses.

        With the advent of the world wide web a simple press was made available to a huge number of people. Thanks to a large number
        of those “evil” corporations most anyone who can access the net (and with public libraries that really is most everyone) can create their own website, blog, etc or post their opinions on youTube or blogs such as facebook, livejournal etc.

        So truly we can say that freedom of the press now belongs to everyone. Kinda makes sense that the elite who would be our
        dictators don’t like it much.

        The FCC gave up on licensing of CB radio many years ago. Also short range low power transmitters have NEVER needed licensing. Receivers are so much more sensitive now that a lot of communication can be done with low power stations and Unix/linux programs such as uucp

    First order of war is to disrupt communication. You should also be looking at the USPS and the things they are planning. States going to street address has created a real mess. Funny how it survived almost 200 years and now it’s this mess and getting worse.

      My Dad worked for the Post Office for many years, gijoe. Dad would not recognize what passes for the Post Office now. Aside from instant communication with America and the rest of the world, the best reason for keeping the internet is to keep slamming Uncle Scam with a competiton source that he can’t stand and someday will try to destroy (for “our own good,” of course).         i gave the PO about a year. too cut throat now. We haven’t had a permanent delivery person on our route for over a year. Our mail comes anywhere from noon to 5:45 PM! When we had a permanent person, we got our mail at 2:30 PM +or- 20 minutes! this is crap! We are also missing mail at times as well. Our auto insurance bill has gone missing at least 5 or 6 times. All of a sudden we get a notice it will expire at noon 10 days later. I go right over and pay it at the office!! I’m so tired of it it isn’t funny!!

    I wonder if it’s possible to get a Constitutional Amendment passed in all 50 states to make it illegal for any US politician – local, state or Federal – to accept money from a foreign national or government. Most of our problems seem to be our government being more concerned about the opinions and feelings of non-US people and entities than about Americans. It could perhaps throw a monkey wrench into the rush to merge America with some global monolith and could remove all foreign influence from our government.

        The Republican Party “made clear” they would not provide funding for Christine. You Republicans need to do something about that. The good old boys club doesn’t like their leadership challenged. They are not much better than the Democrats. Go Christine!

Nice words if the American voter had any real idea of what’s happening. even if they are told they still refuse to believe it.Out of 535 seats we may only change from 38 to 50 seats so how does that really change anything?         That about sums it up, Robert. Vandals have invaded our community kitchen, but they are nice, caring vandals. They offer a us a choice: Would we rather they ate the Wheaties, or the Cheerios? The ham, or the chicken? Of course, good doobies who play along will get to keep some of the crumbs and scraps for themselves. Anyone pointing out the fact that these are, in fact, thieving vandals will, of course, get nothing. Worse, their names will be noted for future special attention.

        Meanwhile, all the “good” citizens of the community will hold up their purple thumbs and say: “Well, at least we tried!”

        Looking back at the beginning of what is now the United States of America, we see that one fair spring morning, well-armed organized vandals showed up in the communities of Concord and Lexington, Massachusetts. They weren’t after grain stores, they were seeking to confiscate powder, shot, and firearms (they’d already done their best to shut down dissenting printing presses and squelch obstreperous assemblage). This really happened. First the vandals told everybody to shut the hell up, then they came for the guns. That particular morning they got a mouthful of feathers and arrived back in Boston shot to rags.

        The rest is history. Which does, in fact, repeat itself. And for the same reasons.

        So, you good doobies out there, you be sure and vote for which vandals you’d like to have eat your breakfast. At least you can say you tried.

        Personally, I think that while they’re rifling through our kitchen, I’d rather be with the citizens forming a human shield around the gun cabinet. At least I know it’ll be there when we need it, when the choice is to go down hungry, or cower with crumbs on my lips.

        Not a bad plan Patriot1737. I am a firearms dealer. Every day, I am selling firearms to people who have never owned a gun in their life. They are asking about firearms training and we are puting them into classes with NRA qualiffied instructors along with their new handguns. Many are buying guns other than handguns and these are usually AR-15′s. I do sell some regular sporting rifles and shotguns, but mostly are tactical type weapons. Does that tell you something? Americans are awakening to the threat coming out of Washington and people are getting ready for something and I don’t think it’s a weekend picnic. If these politicians try to pass a bill to cut off our mainstream of free information in the guise that it is for our wellfare in a national emergency, they will be putting their heads on the chopping block and I for one am ready to swing the axe. This is their typical mode of operation. Everything they do is camouflaged in some kind of innocent looking package when in reality it is a blatant attack on our constitutional rights and God given rights. At this point, I am getting tired of waiting for an election to deal with traitors and anti-American politicians. We need to rid ourselves of these individuals period and if wageing war on them one by one is the answer, then it should begin now.

        You need to join the Missouri State Militia, 1st Volunteers. I spent many months around ten years ago, trying to be accepted. They were fearful that I could be an FBI implant. I made contact with them from a lady I knew at church for 20 years. I had attended several meetings hoping to be accepted. Then finally at the end, I received word from the leader of the Militia through the lady at church that I had been accepted and I was given a phone number to call, a conversation to say over the phone and I would be given a time and a place that had nothing to do with the militia, but to the conversation, which went like I was wanting to join a ladies club. but I received the time and place to go to, which would be about 5 days away.

        I was all excited, and I attended the next meeting of the militia, two days before I was to meet in secret with the militia leader for my acceptance into the militia and to begin my traing.

        And what happened at that meeting, literally ‘blew’ my mind and put the brakes on me big time. When the leader of the meeting called for a break, everyone in the room was chatting with each other. there was a man who had an accent and looked like a foreigner started up a conversation with me. He was very friendly and asked me a lot of questions, which did make me a little nervous.

        I happened to notice how the leader of the militia and his wife kept looking over at us and pointing sometimes and they were talking among themselves. Then I became highly nervous, for I sensed that something was really wrong and I cut the conversation off and walked over to them and I asked the leader what was wrong. He said, ‘do you know who you were talking to?’. I said no and the leader said, you were talking to a suspected FBI implant.

        that night, I went home and told my husband about everything and we both agreed if I was to merge into the militia and start my training, the FBI would soon be knocking on my door. so I broke all contact with the militia after that. (This all happened shortly after the Wacco incident, the branch dividian compound.

        I have done research work on the one world government, HAARP, weather warfare, biological warfare, the Illuminiti, etc. for 35 years or more. I know exactly where this country is heading and every country in the whole world for that matter.

        The “seeing eye” in the pyramid is just that. It is not connected with the Masonic Order.
        I watched a documentary a few weeks ago about some of this stuff. Did you see it?
        We have a number of Illinois Militia groups. The majority of them are for a very good cause and then there are some that are of debatable character.
        The ones that my husband is familiar with help during times of disaster, they help the needy and perform all sorts of good community service plus the fact they believe in the right to keep and bear arms. They also have training for any type of civil preparedness. My husband and I both are avid supporters in the right to keep and bear arms.

The conversation touches on an armed revolution and some around the table vehemently disagree and the conversation reaches into a heated debate. Some feel that if they go along with George(Obama) that he will see the light and realize that we only want more freedom. Others say that in order to realize freedom there may have to be bloodshed and violence. They realize George(Obama) is not going to simply roll over and let this happen. There are troops(black panthers, etc.) on the ground that are more then willing to quash any uprising with extreme violence. Their violence must be met with an even more violent resolve. If only there were another way but George(Obama) will listen to none of this. It’s his way or the highway and his highway leads to death and destruction and so should ours. The meeting comes to an end with 5 out of 6 agreeing to fight for liberty and freedom. With that they adjourn to their respective places and begin what will be the greatest country ever formed”. Now it is circa 2010 and one has to wonder if this scenario is being repeated today. Obama WILL NOT fundamentally change America. The Patriots sitting around a table planning for a possible revolution will see to that.         Actually, if I owned a firearm I wouldn’t say so on the internet. It’s too risky. My guns were stolen from me years ago, but are still registered to me. The Reno police dept. refused to take the report because they were stolen from my ex-sister-in-laws house. They told me only the person who owned the property from which they were stolen were allowed to make the report. When I said they were my property and registered to me I was told that was my tough luck. If those guns are used in a crime, I’m the one they’ll come after. If you own a firearm for your own sake don’t publish it on the internet.

        Interesting, but what is holding back our military in Afghanistan? People. We think of our tanks and soldiers with automatic rifles, snipers, gunship support, and even predator drones. Yet for all our military superiority in that war, we are not winning in a clean sweep. So yes, we might not have great arms but it does matter that we the people are armed….

        As for myself, I am sick of all this talk of a bloody revolution. First, give the Democrats a chance to hang themselves (and RINOs too). Don’t just assume that they are going to do x, y, and z. At least see if they do x and y. If we can take back our country before we are under a dictatorship using the existing process our Constitution still affords us, then so much the better. If not, then if there really is revolution with bloodshed, only then after they have committed the crimes can you honestly hold them accountable.

        We so despise the idea of “thought police” and many of us fear that this internet kill switch will actually be a piece in the puzzle of controlling Americans’ thoughts. So why do you want to become that which you so despise? I am against the internet kill switch vehemently, even if that means a risk to our military. I am in IT and I can tell you that the ONLY computer safe from attack is the computer turned OFF (or NEVER connected to ANY outside source–and I mean ANY outside source, including but not limited to DVDs, CDs, USB thumb drives, any network, or the internet especially). No, the internet kill switch safety idea thing is merely illusionary. By the time you would know that your network is compromised, odds are very very good it is TOO LATE. A hacker that does his/her job isn’t detected until AFTERWARDS. And the most effective attacks are based on attacking the users (and not the computer itself), so that variable will always be an issue that a kill switch CANNOT fix. In fact, a kill switch for security will encourage lazy users who may use less vigilance and become a BIGGER security risk…. So this is a false cure.

        When I look at the internet kill switch, the following is the only purpose I see for it. To control the people. Nothing more. Nothing less. JUST like China does it. Everything else is just self-deception. That is why I oppose it.
