There's A Reason Joe And Jane Voter Are Cranky

September 13, 2010 by

There's A Reason Joe And Jane Voter Are Cranky

President Barack Obama unleashed his October Surprise a little early, announcing last week his plan to get the Federal Reserve to print $50 billion more dollars and funnel it to the unions under the guise of improving America’s roads, railways and runways. Perhaps he wanted to get a head start in case this one fails, too.

The plan will bring the total amount of stimulus dollars allocated for infrastructure to $280 billion. You remember those shovel-ready projects that were supposed to stimulate the economy? They apparently weren’t so ready after all. Only about a third of the original $230 million has been spent.

Yet Obama feels the need to pile on more. He couched the plan, called the “Plan to Renew and Expand America’s Roads, Railways and Runways,” as a way to put people back to work. But the only people who are going to benefit are unions and Democrats running for the House and Senate who are going to get more campaign cash from the unions as a result of what columnist Michelle Malkin calls “The Mother of all Big Boondoggles.”

Malkin points out that because of Obama’s Executive Order 13502, contractors who bid on large-scale public construction projects worth $25 million or more must submit to union representation for its employees. Mandates of this sort raise the cost of projects from 9 percent to 18 percent depending on the project and the market, research has shown.

Even unions recognize that projects using union labor increase costs. Recent reports indicate that when labor unions need construction projects done they more often than not chose non-union contractors to do the work, admitting it’s done to save costs.

But Obama is willing to expedite the collapse of the United States economy for the immediate benefit of his union thug buddies and, ultimately — he hopes — his Democrat lackeys in Congress.

Whether he can get such a bill through Congress is another story. Even Democrats, sensing the mood of a populace growing increasingly skeptical of more government spending, are leery of voting for anything that will add the country’s debt burden.

It’s not that they oppose the spending. Were we a year or more away from elections Democrats — and not a few Republicans — would be eager to pile on the spending. After all, spending other people’s money is what the elected elites do best.

But politicians read polls, and polls showing that Republicans hold a 13-point favorability edge over Democrats in the Congressional elections have the Democrats feeling queasy.

Republicans — once so demoralized by the drubbing they received in the 2006 and 2008 elections — are feeling emboldened by the same news. They are — mostly reluctantly — joining with the Tea Parties to oppose more spending and more debt. Some of the GOP Congressmen who supported stimulus spending pushed first by big government, big spending President George W. Bush and then Obama have been handed their walking papers and are about to join millions of Americans in the unemployment lines.

That’s a good place for them. Hopefully they will be joined by many more elected (and suddenly newly-unelected) elitists after Nov. 2.

But if the GOP does as well as some are predicting and take the House — and possibly the Senate — they’d better not forget that the electorate is cranky. Joe and Jane Voter are fed up with politicians who get richer as “public servants” while Joe and Jane cut back on spending, try to pay down their debt and one or both are either unemployed or supporting an unemployed family member.

Joe and Jane expect the Republicans to repeal Obamacare, cut government spending, cut taxes, bring fiscal sanity back to Washington, eliminate regulations that hamper businesses and finally, create an environment that allows manufacturers and other businesses to return to America. Joe and Jane are aware that the biggest tax increase in U.S. history looms, as the Bush tax cuts are set to expire with 2010, and they expect Republicans to do something about that.

If the Republicans fail and continue to conduct business as usual — that is as they did while in the majority most of the period from 1994 until 2006 — Republicans will suffer in two years hence the same fate Democrats are about to suffer.

Meanwhile Recovery Summer — at least in the minds of Obama and Vice President Joe Biden — rolls on. (Don’t tell them summer’s over and Labor Day is behind us.) Unemployment remains high, housing starts and construction, manufacturing and consumer purchasing remain low. That’s quite the recovery.

By pouring obscene amounts of stimulus dollars into Wall Street, the banks and goofy programs that encourage consumers to spend money they wouldn’t otherwise spend, first Bush and then Obama and their Keynesian economic teams created a lot of little artificial bubbles throughout the economy. They gave the impression of a recovery but are now beginning to pop.

As the National Inflation Association wrote on Sept. 1:

The pain that was felt after the collapse of Lehman Brothers (in September 2008) is nothing compared to the pain that will come when we begin to feel the effects of bailing out the rest of Wall Street. U.S. second quarter GDP growth was revised down on (Aug. 27) from 2.4% to 1.6%. In order to get this 1.6% GDP growth, the U.S. government had to spend $3.7 trillion on bailouts, stimulus bills, the buying of mortgage backed securities, and other commitments.

General Motors reported today that their August deliveries fell 25% from one year ago to 185,176 vehicles. The U.S. government used "cash for clunkers" to buy GDP growth in 2009, but that growth stole from future automobile sales. NIA believes that GM’s sales decline is a sign that the U.S. will likely see a sharp contraction in GDP beginning in the third-quarter, which will lead to the Federal Reserve implementing the mother of all quantitative easing and cause a massive sell off in the U.S. dollar.

Christina Romer, outgoing Chairwoman of Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers, today called for more government spending and less taxes as a way to bring down unemployment. The combination of more government spending and less taxes equals massive inflation, but this represents the state of mind in Washington today. Inflation is still the last thing on their minds because they don’t see it yet.

Even though we might not see massive across the board price inflation at this time, gold and silver prices have been surging ever since NIA released its article "Gold and Silver Capitulation is Near" on July 28th. Gold is very close to breaking its all time nominal high of $1,264.90 per ounce set during June and silver is getting ready to test the critical $20-$21 per ounce resistance level.

Rising gold and silver prices indicate that the U.S. is headed for an explosion in budget deficits that will rise far beyond what it can pay for through borrowing. Leading Chinese economists are now calling Japanese debt less risky than U.S. debt and with the Japanese savings rate in decline, the U.S. will soon have nobody left to borrow from. The only option will be monetization and already the Federal Reserve is getting ready to buy $10 billion to $30 billion per month in U.S. treasuries to keep its balance sheet at inflated levels.

There are now 50 million Americans on Medicaid, with annual Medicaid costs rising 36% over the past two years to $273 billion. The recently enacted health care bill will add 16 million more Americans to Medicaid beginning in 2014, but the U.S. government will likely go bust by then. It is impossible to have an economic recovery when jobless benefits are encouraging Americans to stay unemployed. U.S. unemployment insurance spending has nearly quadrupled since 2007 to $160 billion annually. Even food stamp costs have surged 80% over the past two years to $70 billion annually.

Once Americans get used to receiving and relying on government entitlement programs, it is hard to wean them off of them. NIA has been hearing reports from members with friends who say they will only "come out of retirement" if they can find a job that pays $25 per hour or more, because with anything less it wouldn’t be worth losing their jobless and food stamp benefits. Americans expect to receive their jobless benefits forever and we are sure Obama will continue to extend them leading up to the 2012 election.

There are now countless warning signs all around us on a daily basis that the U.S. is headed for a complete societal collapse.

The Federal Reserve’s reign of economic terror is nearing an end. It has led to the loss of wealth — the dollar has lost about 95 percent of its value since 1913 — and mounting debt and those who thought they were coming out ahead by putting their money in a savings account have learned their money actually lost value due to inflation.

For the last 11 years the stock market has been stagnant, so those with retirement plans in mutual funds have not made money either. And some economists are predicting a 50 percent market crash by year’s end. (Meanwhile gold has climbed from $278 per ounce to $1,250 an ounce in the same time frame. Gold expert Jim Sinclair predicts gold to rise to $1,650 and beyond by mid-January.)

It seems the only ones making money are the elected elites, CEOs of the now mostly nationalized (through regulations that removed competition and granting of favored status gained by subsidizing the elected elites) large corporations, Wall Street fat cats, and Big Pharma. According to Philstockworld.com, about 10,000 individuals hold 30 percent of the nation’s wealth. The middle class has grown poorer and the number of people on the government dole has increased.

This discrepancy can’t continue and a major correction will have to occur. The free-spending actions of Bush and Obama have only pushed that correction down the tracks a little further. We agree with the NIA that the U.S. is headed for an economic collapse.

The question is; are you prepared? If you have bought gold and silver, stockpiled food, water, guns and ammunition and are prepared to grow your own food and barter for more food, water and guns, you are as ready as you can be.

Get ready. The ride is about to get bumpy. And who knows? Obama may yet have another surprise for us in October.

We, the American people, have had enough of Oboma and his band of thugs, the democrates, misuseing and abusing the constitution. If God wanted us to kill children He would have killed them Himself, if God wanted us to be gay we woulhave sex organs of both sexs, And if we don’t Get this goverment back in line we should suceed from this nation and stsrt over with our original constitution, If Oboma doesnot keep destroimg this country from within we might as well give it to our enimes and just quit doing anything, which is what oboma has done already. On the other hand we could just creat our own army for each state, and enforce the laws of this country without Washington. If we do nothing we are bound for Hell anyway. Also if you look at histroy, all of the great nations that turned their backs on God no longer exist If that doesn’t make the voters of thiis country want to make an immediate change in the policies of this country do the right thing, we are doomed. By the way all of you God haters need to pack up, and get your butts out of this country, that goes for you freakes of nature called gays. thank you for letting me ex press my opoinion. Go God! If you voters that are old enough to remember when prayer was taken out of our schoolthink back, you will see when this country startedits path on the road to Hell. I hope someone, actually everyone ic s listening. Lamon, Tx.

    I’m sad.
For my entire life I have wanted to move to the US. My life is such that I finally can. I work for myself and my job/business can be transferred with me. I am one of the silly people doing it legally so it’s in the works and progressing slowly.
But now I’m scared. This is no longer the country that I have always admired. The American spirit was contagious and much sought after. Now? Not so much. I used to be so jealous of the much lower tax rates and less government interference – now you’re getting to be at par or worse than us (Canada).
Please start the road of true recovery by taking out some of the trash in November.
    Thank you.

    • 45caliber

We are certainly going to try.

    • DaveH

According to Heritage Foundation, Laurie, we are now less economically free than Canada. You might be better off to stay there, unless John Stossel, Judge Napolitano, and other Libertarians can wake up the electorate:

    • Kate8

Laurie, funny thing. Canada is starting to look pretty good to some of us. At least you have an immigration policy.

  • Hoss

Has anyone read Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” This is what Obama and company is following to a “T”.

    • sylviam

THe name was changed to RULES FOR REVOLUTION written by DAVID HOROWIT’Z and you are right it is OBAMA to a T. GOD BLESS AMERICA

  • eddie47d

Good article Bob but no solutions to fixing our infrastructure problems. You leave out too much in how government can pay private contractors to fix our aging bridges. These contractors won’t be fixing them for free. As we grow, more roads and bridges are needed and someone has to come up with the money. On the subject of government employees. I do agree some never seem to appreciate the good benefits they get and are always demanding more. I’ve seen many dedicated govt. workers and some put in long hours(and overtime).I have also seen govt. workers sitting around and taking up space. You can see the same work ethic in private business although they are more motivated by the threat of loosing their job. Greed at the top doesn’t help anyone’s moral in our present day workforce. There was a time when you looked up to the boss or owner. You really appreciated his ability in creating those jobs. Now these upper CEO’s make so much money they end up destroying companies and it’s all a shell game to them. Their work ethics stink and that hurts the moral of those getting shafted below. A bad combination for some companies. Many CEO’s don’t care about the work force like they did 30 years ago. Workers are no longer apart of their family only expendable parts. You’re only a body reporting to a cubicle or an assembly line at some offices. It’s a here today gone tomorrow philosophy so moral has taken a hit in the American workforce. Public employees do need to be more appreciative of their jobs and give back(in work ethics) alittle more.

      I predict future happiness for
Americans if they can prevent the government
from wasting the labors of the people under the
pretense of taking care of them.
      Thomas Jefferson

My reading of history convinces me
that most bad government results from too much
      government.
      Thomas Jefferson

        Love the original quotes, GenEarly.
        Keep writing!

    • Lubo

eddie47d…. a bunch of progressive balony! If you don;t like your boss, then LEAVE!!!!!

      • JeffH

Lubo, he’s a wealth of contradictions.

      • eddie47d

You’re Full of it Jeff! Go back to bed and snuggle up to your favorite corporate thief so he can warm your back side. Your so entrenched or blinded by corporate Grandeur you couldn’t point out their shenanigans if it came up and hit you on the side of the head.

      • Lubo

eddie47d…..I’ll take my options of FREEDOM to leave a company and find employment elsewhere anyday over your corrupt socialist-marxist ideology. It doesn’t work!!!! It never has and it never will!

      • JeffH

fast eddie, how often do I give corporate America a rousing “atta boy”. Answer-never! It is your total trust of a corrupt government that feeds your distain and anti-corporatist mentality. How can you blame the “corporations” for lobbying politicians for favors? If the politician was honest, he/she wouldn’t accept the corporate dollars and bend over for them.
As usual you’ve got it all bass ackwards. Keep on trying, there may be some hope left for you yet.

      • JeffH

fast eddie, as a matter of facts…site some of my great corporate support you so willingly talk about.

      • a progressive nightmare

jeffh, He can’t give you any specifics because he makes things up as he goes. If it sounds good to a progressive, then it must be true! Logical common sense and the truth is not a strong point when it comes to the emotional mindset of a progressive.

Let us all strive this november to end this 100 year old fiscally irresponsible progressive nightmare.

      • JeffH

a progressive nightmare, you’ve got this little liberal all figured out.
Keep up the good fight fellow patriot.

      • eddie47d

I’ll stand by what I said in my original comments and also my comment to you. Your always defending the rights of corporations to exploit others. I certainly don’t need an example, for you and Dave are always saying “so what”. “If you don’t like it buy somewhere else” As if that will stop corporate greed and manipulation of our economy. It kind of makes you look like a co-conspirator with these companies.

  • Raggs

The basic problem here is that there is a failure to communicate.
Washington cares not at all what the people want or think.
They believe they are the ruling class and we are the slaves.
The government was not designed to enslave the people but the other way around, the government is supposed to be a slave of the people.

Now we have obama that cares nothing about the people unless you are in a union or special interest group… It’s just a matter of time before he will aid in the collapse of the US by way of union pensions and entitlement programs.

  • http://http/aol.com john littlefield

we pissed off at these politions.

  • Bob Wire

So the power “collective bargaining” is at the bottom of all our “woes”?

I would think Unions no different from any other “affiliation”, some good and some bad.

Unions across the board are not that strong anymore, haven’t been for some time.

While I surly agree with the assessment, the influence of special interest on Capital Hill goes a long way in explains today”s sad state of affairs, it’s not money from “labor”

Today, seems we point the finger at “labor” ~ most fitting for this crowd of small time investors, triple dippers and day traders.

It all about dividing up the “pie” and who gets what.

Profit is not a naught word ~ “until” someone is making a profit off of you. It is then, we take offense to the idea.

    Why not look somewhere else?

    • ValDM

      Bob,
You are so far out in left field about unions, it’s truly mind-boggling. Are you a memeber of a union? I have been on various occasions, and I can tell you that they are WAY out of control now. ALL gov’t workers are unionized except the higher-ups. Do you like paying a unions wage to someone that can barely move thru their day and accomplish nothing? Gov’t. workers currently “earn” almost double their counterparts in private industry. We aren’t “picking” on the working class, because these leeches AREN’T WORKING!

    • alpha-lemming

Don’t confuse “unions” (government variety) with “labor unions”. Although I don’t think I’d be propping the latter up based on Boston “Big-dig” 500% over budget, and shoddy workmanship killing motorists. Government sanctioned extortion and a home for the mediocre (at best) seems a more proper qualifier for labor unions, but I understood the article a little differently.

      Private sector salary/perks/bennies etc….. ~$60K. Government (unions) salary/perks/bennies……… ~$125K.

      Private sector unemployment…… 10% (REAL # calculated at 15-17%)
      Government unemployment……. 3%

As I understand the English language, this degree of discrepancy disqualifies government union employees the title of public “servants” and places them in a class of “the privileged” or “the kept”. THAT’S what the voters are livid about.

      • Christin

You hit the nail on this one Alpha-L!
        Public Servants NOT Priviledged Servants.

But I would add that the people are also outraged that most UNIONS are LIBERAL- DEMOCRAT leaning and give cash contributions to progressive Demos to strengthen their union dues/power scheme on the working class who may not agree with that power in office, thus putting Liberal-Demos in power on the Local, State & National stage.

I was a Teacher for many years (not retired, but home raisng kids) and we HAD to pay a dues to the Teacher Union. I was so busy trying to do a great job teaching and earn a living that I really never knew much about it. The appointed Teacher Union district lady would come to visit us in our school and befriend us and ask us if we needed anything… she cared (so we thought.) Years later I found they supported the liberal democrat agenda and that was NOT my position and I’d rather not have my money go to them for THEIR gain to corrupt the system.

I might add I’d rather my school taxes levied on my ownership of property NOT go to government run public education. My kids go to private Christian school (where God is welcome) and we would LOVE to put our TAXES toward that school of OUR choosing than the indoctrination wrong teaching gov schools. WE should ALL have control over our families and lives (FREEDOMS)… I WANT SCHOOL VOUCHERS.

AGAIN… forced to put money where LIBERALS want it. NOT RIGHT.

And we wonder how they got into power… they have stolen money from EVERY pocket.

      • 45caliber

They not only have stolen money from every pocket, they spend it to buy more votes. One reason they want amnesty for illegals. Since most illegals are taking advantage of those “free” programs, they would be more likely to vote for politicians who promise to increase them.

      • Christin

        So True!

    • honeybadger

I don’t believe ‘collective bargaining is at the bottom of our woes’ however if it is not all that good, why not rid yourself of it? When the USA is going under, why can’t the UNIONS along with everyone else, help? Everything that needs doing CANNOT be done all at one time, WAKE UP! Start SOMEWHERE, then move to something else, fix it then move again, this is how things get done.

      • 45caliber

You are correct. But again, the unions are for unions only. They make as much as four or five times what many Americans can make – and they featherbed as well. They will work with others on some things but not when it comes to themselves. While I understand their motives, it also means that they cannot work with most individuals – and if the individuals are unionized by force, they will not make any more than they do now or the companies they work for will close. The companies who have these unions (mostly auto companies) cannot compete with foreign companies – even here in the US. I prefer to buy American, but I cannot find ANY clothing made here now. The “American” cars are primarily made overseas and then a couple of parts are installed here to make it American-made at a cost that doubles what foreign cars are. And the quality is poor for much of their inventory as well.

      • Angel Wannabe

45, I worked for a clothing manufacturer, which were Unionized. The Ladies Garment Workers Union, back in my early twenties. I was only there a short time, thankfully. I was on probation and not fully “IN” the Union yet. In return, if they’re was full fledged Union workers, who had no work, and I did, I had to relinquish the work. On any given day, two to three times a week, we’d had, two and three women at a time, fighting, pullin each others hair out by the roots, over who’s, bundles were who’s!!!__, I’m glad I got Pregnant when I did, and had to leave__I had the potential to make good money there, but I never went back.__I had never seen anything like it in my life! They acted like of bunch of pack animals!

    • DaveH

“Unions across the board are not that strong anymore”? Try telling that to the GM bondholders who got screwed while the Union got rewarded.

      • Lubo

DaveH…That’s a fact! Just think about it, the Union GREED ran GM in the ground and then our Grandchildren are expected to pay for it. When did a CONTRACT in this country become null and void or when did it become OUR responsibility to BAIL OUT a UNION MESS???

Bottom line, these progressive liberals run around spewing their hatred for the BIG CEO’S, but the fact is, their combined weight in this fiscal disaster outweights EVERY CEO in the COUNTRY! How could ANY business survive a workforce that expects to make six figues for building a DUMB car boggles the adult mind!

I’ve been a life long GM owner but I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER ONE!!!!!!!!!….period!

      • DaveH

Yep. It amazes me, Lubo, how the Liberals will whine about Companies pricing their products too high (when they don’t have to buy them), or about CEO’s making too much money (paid voluntarily by the owners of that money), but the Liberals will turn around and literally steal somebody else’s legally earned money and think nothing of that foul act. Liberals are twisted people.

      • Lubo

        agreed!

  • http://roguebroadcasting.net DigitalRogue

Republicans and Democrats, two sides of the same coin. They are going to do their best to continue the “Plan” of destroying this country. The Constitution is something they use when it looks like it will help to put them back into power. Once in power, they ignore it.

  • eddie47d

Mr Ennis, You said allot of wise and correct things about America and had many sincere feelings. You then threw in a few anti-American feelings or traditions on the subject of Pastor Terry and pigs’blood. Pastor Terry is nothing more than an ego tripping charlatan and didn’t deserve one minute of fame. You seem to want to “rejuvenate your body” by destroying someone else. That sounds very Islamic too me and you want to become (in action) what you deplore. Please do keep up your love for America and your sincerity and God Bless.

    • Bruce D.

Probably Eddie47d if you suck up enough all American Muslims will become leftests. Isn’t that what Obama and the liberals are all about. Create a voting block no matter what you have to do or say to get it.

    • honeybadger

Where are the anti-American feelings you allude to eddie47d? I suspect that I am American as much as ANY, and certainly more than SOME! Personally I am in total agreement with Mr Ennis, TOTAL! Just for the record you sound as though YOU are the one in need of rejunevation, and should you check I believe you are certain to discover your opinion is DEFINITELY in a minority! Do you know the definition of ‘charlatan’? Why would you refer to this Minister of the Gospel as a ‘quack’, is it because he felt the desire to express HIS beliefs according to HIS scriptures? He is not DEMANDING you believe him or ELSE. If he wants to burn this ‘book’ why not? You are being ‘allowed’ to criticize him, label him a charlatan by the same ‘rights’ that he is denied (something wrong with this ‘photo’). I am from the SAME period as Mr. Ennis, what period are YOU from? There is something wrong in AMERICA today!

      • JeffH

honeybadger, don’t put much credence into fast eddie’s comments. He proves daily his lack of comprehension and credibility with his mis-information.

      • eddie47d

Only a different opinion Jeff .Not like you tired robotic responses to everything. Since you agree with the above commentor that means you would also throw pigs blood. I wouldn’t respect either one of you and I will stand by my “minority” opinion.

      • JeffH

fast eddie, I do agree with honeybadger’s assessment of you and your constitutional right to criticize openly.
You’ve made a typical liberal ad-lib with your “pigs blood” statement.
Those words came from your mouth, not mine or honeybadgers.

      • eddie47d

That’s hardly a typical liberal comment. It’s a comment for her and apparently you to show some decency . You want your beliefs (church, bible) desecrated? Apparently so or you would have taken a different approach.

    • Greyhawk

I do not have to agree with Pastor Terry to support His Right To Demonstrate any way he wants if it does not directly cause physical harm to others. As for my own BBQ and Koran Burning, I have not done that, but may do it as a way of saying what I think about Islam, It’s Founder and of the Words contained therein.

      • Kate8

I don’t see any problem with a small group of private citizens gathering together and burning Korans as a symbolic gesture of neutralizing their power and influence over America.

RADICAL ISLAM IS OUR ENEMY. THEY WANT TO KILL US. They make no pretense otherwise. They engage in all manner of symbolic victory against us.

By all means, do whatever it takes to undermine this evil. I do not think they deserve our respect at all. If they want to live here and assimilate, and love America, that’s one thing. But I refuse to show any respect to a religion/political system that seeks to enslave us.

The NWO is using them as useful idiots now, to help them bring down America and the world. But when they are no longer useful, they, too, will be destroyed. The NWO has no use for any religion, and it serves them to pit one against another.

      • JeffH

Kate8, once again you say it like it is and should be. Keep up the good fight.

      • Christin

        Agreed.

      • Christin

        Agrees!

      • Bob

Why do you people keep turning every article into a rant against Muslims. You are part of the problem of where this country is headed.

      • American Citizen

If that stupid so-called preacher wanted to burn Bibles, there would be no outcry at all. We need to ignore the Muslim’s threats and do what needs to be done to stop them from taking over this country. After all, we have weapons, too.

      • JeffH

American Citizen, I don’t think that preacher is as “stupid” as he’s made out to be.

The word is out on the streets of Florida and elsewhere.
The Terry Jones “Koran Burning” will instead be a
“Koran Puffie” event. Pages in the Puffie are torn
        from a Koran.

        Look at:

        puffiewarning.wordpress.com

Be sure to look at the Archives

The word is being spread from Florida to many churches
in the U.S. who view our President as a ……

These Puffies are being sent to political leaders,
to large churches, and to random individuals.

        Beware of Puffies!

Islam in general is our enemy. No such thing as “radical islam”, for both words have the same meaning. Their wordly ideology is very similar to other cults, like progressive marxism. In other words, if you disagree with their ideology, then you are a racist bigot or a non-believer. See the likeness in these wordly belief systems? Why do you think all these progressive bloggers defend these murderous people? Anything they can do to bring down America seems to be a common thread with both belief systems of which neither have anything to do with GOD. It is the false religion that the Holy Scripture speaks of.

Grayhawk- Have you read the Talmud lately? What then do you have to say about the Zionists who run our country, you know, TPTB- the powers that be. Why do people hate the writings of the Koran so much and pay no attention to the Talmudic volumes that call all non-Jews Goyum, or worse than a dog. Call for Jesus to be boiled in excrement, and advocate stealing from Goy and molesting the infant children of Goyum. (that’s Ashkenazi Jews, not true Torah Jews.)

O.K! We all see it. Some were forced to vote for this guy for some reason or another (the other choice wasn’t all that good either). So what can we do? VOTE. CAMPAIGN. SPEAK OUT. And if any thugs show up at the poling place with their para-milistupid get up, then WE show up as MEN to help those who want to vote for WHOMEVER THEY WANT. This is OUR COUNTRY. Now, LET’S ACT LIKE IT!

Muslims want President Obama to offer Eid prayers at Ground Zero and become Amir-ul-Momineen or Caliph of Muslims.

It is no wonder people are starting to look at Obama as a Muslim. At first I didn’t believe it but as they say “If it walks like a duck…”

    http://www.nation.com.pk/pakistan-news-newspaper-daily-english-online/Islamabad/02-Sep-2010/Minister-wants-Obama-to-become-AmeerulMomineen

    • honeybadger

      It’s about time……

      • honeybadger

This is in reference to the ‘walks like a duck’ mention in an earlier post. It is about time ‘he’ is recognized!

    • JeffH

I find it utterly amazing that the anti-muslim sentiment has grown enormously since the O’man was appointed POTUS.

Nine years after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, one thing remains a certainty, some politicians and the MSM can stir the nation’s darker impulses to tar all Muslims with the same hatred most people feel toward the 19 fanatics who killed nearly 3,000 people in New York and Pennsylvania, and at the Pentagon.

Case in point: Terry Jones, a nobody in this country up until recently. He has becomes a national media topic. The MSM promoted this story.
Defense Secretary William Gates called the pastor and urge him not to go through with the Quran burning. Gen.Petreaus gave it creedence as did the POTUS, who condemned the burning as inflammatory yet believes it constitutionaly OK to build a “tribute to the terrorist” mosque at Ground Zero.

At least one newsource, Fox News, said that it will not cover the burning of the Quran if Pastor Terry Jones follows through on his plan to burn copies of Islam’s sacred book

Most polls show Americans opposed to plans to build the center there. Is the POTUS a pro Constituion American or an anti-American Muslim sympatizer? Which is it Mr. POTUS? Most of us already know the answer to that question.

30 percent of Americans say they have a “favorable opinion” of Islam, according to a Pew Research Center survey in August. Five years ago, 41 percent did. Who and what has influenced America to change their opinions? The propaganda repeatedly broadcast by the MSM for the powers that be. Turmoil is a good thing to them!

I do believe there is an increased acceptance of American Muslims though.

      • Bruce D.

The mosque has a lot to do with increased Muslim dislike. Muslims are turning it into a racial and a political issue. As Muslims start to get more support from liberals they will start to receive more comtempt from others. Prior to 9/11 I have never heard anyone say anything bad about Muslims. Now that I see they Muslims bunrning our flag and wishing death on all Americans I am beginning to see that this is only the start of a long war that will not end in my lifetime. The Muslims will push hard to expand anti-American sentiment. In return people who liked them or who had no interest in them either way will start to dislike them. They want a religious war. They want Sharie Law as much as liberals want big government and socialism.

      • JeffH

Bruce D., it’s been my opinion from the very beginning that we can never win a “religious” war. That is the war the Islamic jihadists terrorists are fighting against non-believers around the world. They’ve been fighting their “holy” wars forever and will continue fighting them when we are long gone. The Russians couldn’t beat ‘em and ultimately we won’t beat ‘em either. Look where we are at now, economically and politically a broken country. The NWO people love it.
Muslims are integrating throughout societies around the world.
What about Muslims in EU countries? Worse than what we are faced with here in the USA. The total Muslim population, including immigrant and native born, in Western Europe is about 20 million of the EU’s 500 million residents as compared to between 6-8 million in America.

      • Bruce D.

I agree with you JeffH. I do think a religious war is being forced on us whether we like it or not. The opposition to Muslims has little to do with the Muslim religion. I am not against pulling out of Afganistan because I do not think the people there are intelligent enough to maintain their free will. They will live and die by whoever can exert the most force over them. I think the Iraqies have a chance. Make no mistake though, pulling out of Afganistan will not stop their religious war against us. This is just the beginning and no amout of apeasement will stop them. For Muslims it will always be about religion. That gives them their moral authority and energy to kill and be killed. Their mindset is to kill for God and you are not going to change that by pulling out of Afganistan or stopping a preacher and fifty other people from burning the Koran. We need to realize we are now in a religous war even though it seems stupid and is stupid. It is not one of those wars that you can end by just not showing up. They are bringing it here. Even if we withdrew all our support from Israel and let the Muslims exterminate all Israelies it would not change what is happening now. They are intent on bringing Sharia law to the Unted States and President Obama has given them the hope of it being very possible.

      • Kate8

Bruce D., they are using any wedge to stir up strife. Religion, race, class, ideology, sexual preference, and any other thing they can use to play people.

I think they’re just throwing everything out there and hoping at some point someting will erupt. No doubt, if it’s not soon enough to suit their timeframe, they’ll make something happen.

The thing is, if we the people didn’t play into it, it couldn’t work.
        We’ve been far too easy.

      • Christin

        Bruce D,
I think you are right… they are forcing a religious war on us along with everything else kate8 mentioned.

You hear oblahblah say (aka. lie) we are not at war with Islam, but the “small” group of Hamas…yea sure. But WE know that Islamists are here to create chaos and force their way of life and (sharia) law on ALL people.

Today on the news islamists were burning a life size obamy figure because of the minister that was going to burn some korans in America… I found that ironic that they seem to hate him, too, along with the rest of America.

HE’s been on their side from the beginning bowing to their kings, visiting their mosques, giving appology tours, hiring devout muslims to work in Homeland Security, speaking memorized verses from the koran in perfect dialect, supporting the Ground Zero mosque, and praising islamists as a peaceful people, and condeming the koran burning in the USA.

And yet, what did this get him… hate… I don’t think these people will ever know what true agape love from God ever is.

  • Los

I recall this Bungler stating that “I owe those unions!” My God Mr Soetoro, how much do you owe them!! And by the way Einstein, YOU owe them – NOT THE AMERICAN PUBLIC! Americans do not have the tendency to go to bed with the lowest, most ineffective, leeches in the nation – UNIONS. UNons are a worthless cancer that is left over from the late 19th – early 20th Centuries. Want to revise history a bit? The one cottage industry that IS TRULY out of date and worthless are labor unions – they only steal money from workers to fund political campaigning – Unions have failed America SO STOP PAYING THEM!!

    • Angel Wannabe

Los, Like everything else the early beginnings of Unions HAD good intentions for thew people in the workhouses, but as time passed, like God said to Moses on the mount, “Go, get thee down, your people have corrupted themselves”.

  • http://libirtydigest diana chrislip

congress senate fed judges and surpreme court all should have to take a PAY CUT of 40% and get only HAP ins. plus there retirement should be no more than my son who works on ford motor co. and he don`t make big bucks like the news says he makes around 63,000. a year and that is all the govement should make, that s what he my son makes and he has 4 children and it is hard for him, and the co. that leave the USA for cheaper wages should and must pay 3 time the terft to bring their product back here in the USA. So we can train the people they put out of work with their money.

  • Bruce D.

I see you put your heart into that letter. Good job. I was against burning the Koran but now I see everyone trying to destory this man I have changed my mind to burn it. Muslims all over were burning our flag and threatening death to all Americans for this one man’s opinion. For me it is not a religious issue it is a political one. Muslims are trying to turn it into a religious issue. Followers of the Koran say it teaches them to kill in the name of God. It also teaches them to kill in the name of the Koran. They will kill if you print a comic strip about Mohammad. They wiil kill you if you are a Christian trying to help flood victims in Pakistan. They kill their own people with suiside bombs for no apparent reason. They seem to be willing to kill everyone and anyone in the name of God and use the Koran as their justification for doing it. Muslims have turned the Koran into the ‘Book of Death’. They have no one to blame but themselves for that.

It is unfortunate that Muslims are doing everything they can to turn us againt them. Muslims have enjoyed great freedom in this country with great respect shown towards them. It is unfortunate that they do not show any appreciation for our goodwill. They are starting to promote themslves as victims of American oppression inexchage for our good thoughts and goodwill. Americans are getting fed up with this whole idea of American oppression when all we are trying to do is go to work, pay our bills, and spend time with our family. Muslims along with liberals are forcing us into a fight we do not want and did not start. At some point you have to say enough is enough.

All I know is that they are multiplying like rabbits–here in the US. A high percentage of the prisoners are becoming muslims. Our prison system allows all religions to speak to the prisoners. This president just does not get it and never will. Another stimulus such as the one mentioned in this article will never work and will only make the current economic situation worse which will result in more Americans out of work and more illegal immigrants employed in this country. He wants to do whatever is necessary to attract more illegals to this country to work since the managers only hire these type of people so they can continue to pay them under the table and not pay any taxes. These managers need to be thrown in jail for making this situation worse today. The small business owners do not trust Obama and his hidden agenda. They are too smart to employ more staff and end up paying big when the healthcare reform hits not to mention all the added taxes. What we need is a Republican in the White and control of the house and senate by the Republicans. They are a much more fiscally conservative party and are definitely not as corrupt as the Democrats. Get a grip everyone! Also, if you think Obama cares about any of you, you are sadly mistaken since he only cares about the elite groups. Wake up America before it is too late.

    • Justin

Both parties are just 2 sides of the same coin. Tweedle dee and tweedle dumb. Neither party will fix the problems, and both parties are to blame for them.
The 2 party system is broken, and no longer works.
An independent is our best hope, and another party or 2 or 3 would help too.
If there is a 3rd candidate, don’t vote Republican just to get the Dems out.

I totally intend to try to get the Republican in the distict elected for the House, but he is already aware he is treading on thin ice with me and that I am monitoring his every move. I will only put up with the Dem that is in there now again if he gets reelected, but it won’t be with my vote. He’s one of the Dems Pelosi told it was ok to ride the fence and vote conservative when he knew his district would be looking because this is a very conservative district. Now that they’ve reconvened I’m about to let him know how I feel that he sided with Obama and the labor unions on the last spending, supposedly to keep teachers and other state workers on the job. What a lie! Maybe that’s the way it is in other staes, but not here. You don’t even want me to tell you how I feel about labor unions. I HAVE NOTHING POSITIVE TO SAY ABOUT THEM. My family has had three experiences, none of them good, with labor unions. Like cancer we need a cure for them. The best cure I know is to get rid of them!

      • Bruce D.

NJ Gov Cris Cristie said Obama gave NJ one billion dollars and with that money the previous governor gave to the teachers unionstheir paychecks and benefits. It was a one time deal so now the state cannot come up the money on their own to keep the unions pay and benefits artifically high.

Common sense is lost. Remember in November! We must vote out those who are only there for the power and to become elitist. God is our only hope!

    • Andy Howey

How do you determine who’s there to “become elitist”? I agree that we should remind them that they work for us, not the other way around, but short of a massive recall, how do you rein them in?

      • vicki

Vote them all out. Except Ron Paul. Untrained monkeys could do a better job of representing us then the current Congress.

I don’t know, the more I learn about this thugocracy, the more leery I become. Is it possible that all of Obamas partners in crime, the unions, acorn, liberals, will subvert this coming general election? I’m not sure, and that worrys me.

    • Angelicsweep

Your fear is one that I have felt since obama rammed obamacare down our throats despite the public outcry. It was like he wasn’t worried that once this was passed, it meant certain death to the democrap party because he was going to come out on top not matter what. It could just be that his narcissist personality just can’t admit defeat or the fact that people could actually go against him, but somehow I feel it is more than that. He has squirrelled away stimulus money from the first one on…that is why they can not tell the people WHERE all of it went. It is going to be used to buy votes come the election to insure he stays in power. Why do you think that right here at election time he wants ANOTHER “stimulus”…sure he does, so he can buy more votes! There is no telling what obama promised those dolts who voted for his disasters since everything was behind closed doors! Guess the only thing we can do is be on guard Nov 2 to any kind of voter fraud being made by documenting EVERYTHING we see that is suspicious.

      • Christin

I believe Congress FEAR the Puppet Masters-Wealthy Elite Class to whom they have sold their souls who pull their strings and keep them in their power positions with money and prestige MORE than they fear We The People who will try to VOTE them out. Some Congressmen/women have germandered their districts… unconstitutional BTW… and we will not be able to vote them out unless that is changed.

We can Change the Leadership in Congress by voting for Consittutional Conservatives/Tea Party or Republicans so that Nanc can be dethroned. The Left is already attacking Rep. John Boehner who is next up to be Speaker of the House if Republicans sweep up in November. They want to make sure we don’t have strong conservative leadership to undo the damage they’ve purposely done to our country.

    • Andy Howey

As someone (or multiple someones) has pointed out in this thread, unions have out-lived their usefulness. They should be abolished. Let the workers keep the money they would otherwise pay in union dues. By the same token, American-based corporations should be heavily penalized for every American worker they displace for overseas workers. In either case, neither should be allowed to contribute to or influence elections.

As for political contributions, they should be limited only to individuals (not corporations) who are legally eligible to vote in this country, and they should limited in amount. These contributions should go into (a) shared pool(s) appropriate to the office/position up for reelection in order to level the playing field so that all candidates can get equal funding. Do away with personal war chests. And prohibit super-wealthy people like Soros from buying or otherwise influencing elections. This should apply to local-, state-, and national-level elections.

As for vetting candidates, especially for national-level elections, that responsibility should be taken away from the political parties. There should be an independent “agency” responsible for ascertaining that any candidate intending to run in a given race is fully qualified (constitutionally, legally, etc.) to hold that position if elected, and that agency should have full transparency and accountability to the voting public. Any attempts at tampering should have severe and immediate consequences to the vetting agency AND to the candidate(s) involved. If necessary, there could be state-level analogs to this agency to deal with state-level elections.

      • old white guy

so, more f–king government, right. a government agency policing government. yahoo.

I don’t remember that you made any meaningful suggestion — just a vapid rant. Do you have any better idea(s)? If so, let’s hear them.

In any case, something needs to be done. The bastards in Washington are bleeding us.

As far as funding is concerned, dissolve the Dept. of Homeland Security, and use some of the money from that for what I suggested. It wouldn’t have to be a very large organization — 1000 people at the very most.

      • Bob

Obama should hire every American to work for the gov’t. Then he can stop people from bitching. What do you think Andy?

      • Andy Howey

Just like “Old White Guy” — no valid counter-argument. Obunghole should kicked out on his marxist, pinko, islamophilic @$$. I don’t really trust any politican. Like lawyers, which many of them are, they are just professional liars. They tell you what you want to hear in order to be elected. If people would stop bitching and moaning and take some civics classes and learn how government should really be conducted, then the idea I proposed could work, especially with a levelled playing field pulling the rug out from under the “professional” politicians feet. We should also do away with the two-party system, because nothing useful is accomplished that way.

  • Give me a Break!

The reason nobody has stood up to this anti-American administration, is because there is no one left in Washington to abide by the rules and laws that our country was founded on. Our founders knew from the beginning that a free country without the rule of law and leaders that were not God fearing and honest, was a not a free country at all. We the people are on our own now, and if we don’t stand against Washington and its corrupt leaders, we will soon find ourselves in a land our founders originally ran from to start a country free of tyranny and persecution so they and their posterity could live free and succeed in life. Our fate is in the hands of God now, I pray that we can once again defeat evil, the evil in Washington, this November and then get rid of this President soon after ,who wants to rule this country like a dictator.

    • dan az

      Give me a break
He cant be a dictator in all countries only in the ones that dont succeed from the union.Since delaware is its on country than why not succeed and start over with a new union less one small country.

    • Bruce D.

There are some in Washington that are working their heart to do the right thing such as Ron Paul. You should not lump them all together like that as you invalidate anyone of good will. Everyone should work to keep their own senator in check with e-mails an faxes. Give them credit if they do something right. Let them know if they are doing something wrong. An e-mail to a Congressman is taken in the same light as a poll. One e-mail is considered to represent XXX amount of the population.

      • TIME

        Bruce, Very good points.

I have said this over and over, you all may feel that sending an email or a fax, letter etc. is a waste of your time.
I have told you before and will say it again “its then of RECORD” its then fact.

A phone call is subject to getting lost, that is unless your on a first name base with your Congress and or Senate person like I am.
I speak with them weekly, and in some cases daily when need be.
And as well I send in fax’s & emails daily!

Don’t give in and Don’t give up. Keep the pedal to the metal.
Push Push and then Push some more. If you don’t think that these wacked out left wingnuts are doing so, you would be 100% WRONG!

As I noted I speak with these people all the time, in NY they get less than 10% emails and Fax’s let alone phone calls from anyone who opposes this crazyness in DC. Yet just a mear 20% from wacked out left wings nuts jobs.
That means if just 11% more who don’t agree with whats going on in DC would PLEASE Fax or Email their congress and senate people they would have greater numbers saying NO, then YES.

People its not hard to grasp.

Get off your butts and get busy Email – Fax and Phone them until they scream when they see your name!

If you don’t know how to contact them, USE GOOGLE with their name and all the INFO will be there for you to use.

So PLEASE I beg you all get busy.

      • Bob

Time Most Americans are too lazy to email or call their reps. They want someone else to do all the work. You’d be surprised how many in Washington vote against bad bills when they get a few thousand calling or faxing.

Out here in CA we have boxer and Feinswein. They never answer the phone or return emails that is not a canned form letter. Those 2 communists have screwed over more Americans. They could care less what we think. No amount of emailing will change those twits nanny state minds.

I have emailed…time and time and time and time again. McCain is back in office and I prayed that he wouldn’t be. I have emailed him on amnesty, cap & trade, Obamacare, S 3002, I have complained against Monasato, and anything else that takes freedom away from the American people. Most of the time I get no rely and when I do, it is pro this type of legislation. I get absolutely NO response from Kyl.

I am truly afraid that it is too late. They are lining their own pockets and plan to bring America down. They are all in this together. There are a handful, but not many. That is, if it isn’t an act. I am as concerned as the rest of you but I am afraid there is a revolution coming. I don’t think these politicians plan on changing at all. Neither the Democrats OR the Republicans. They are both alike. It is in their plans to bring America down and keep lining their pockets, eliminate population and what better way but through a revolution?

      • Bruce D.

Evidently your e-mails have had some effect on McCain. He talking a lot differently than he was one year ago. Good job!

      • Angel

Thank you Bruce D. But I am not so sure that it just isn’t because that it is election time….then back to business as usual. I will keep doing my part however. I know he was for amnesty. Until it got close to the primary. He is still for comprehensive immigration which in my book, is just another word for amnesty.

      • Kate8

        Angel, I hear ya.

I have called, emailed and snail-mailed, only to get the standard response of “I’ll keep your views in mind”. Right. Boxer, Feinstein. Need I say more. Not once have they budged on their stance.

From what I’ve seen, especially since BO usurped office, is that they seem determined to push ahead with the agenda handed down to them from the NWO. In fact, they seem gleeful about smacking us in the face, or rendering a good gut-punch, even at the cost of their popularity. They seem to relish our outrage.

This is part of the plan to make us feel so completely alienated from our government that we will revolt, bringing about collapse of the system. It is deliberate, calculated, and they see us as entirely predictable. We need to be aware that we are playing into their hands.

      • Angel

EXACTLY Kate. One of my big concerns..( well, they are all big concerns) was this thing he proposed on vitamins…I mean, me health isn’t the greatest and they want me to be taking rat poison (Coumadin Blood thinners) and I can thin my blood just fine and more via supplements. They want us all to die and I have been on McCain’s backside since 2007 and have even TOLD him that I know their game. That they want us to be their slaves and they want us all dead. I even told him, they might win the battle but never to war and God will be judging him…that if he didn’t watch it, he wouldn’t like his future in eternity. I’m not kidding either. I have told him all this and more!

      • Christin

        Angel,
        Keep the good fight up.

Don’t support McCain with your dollars by buying Budweiser, his wife’s company.
Demo Kerry’s wife owns Heinz (ketchup), Demo Pelosi’s husband owns (? don’t know which one)Tuna company…
Most Elites own big Brand-name Companies.. do some research and don’t buy from them… in fact, if someone has time on their hands this would be a good list for us all to see and know about.

I saw McCain turn due right when Sarah Palin came to campaign for him. Surely she (?) sees he is Progressive, but maybe she felt she had to help him since he lost the presidential election with her on the ticket. I actully think they lost because of the Black American vote for BO.

I was unhappy with McCain because he put forth a bill that would hinder and stop us from being able to buy natural meds, supplements, vitamins and minerals. That is Big Pharma’s wish and really bad for us.

        Stay alert and vigilant friend.

      • Kate8

Angel – McCain is a snake, and everyone knows it. That’s why I don’t believe he won the AZ primary by the vote of the people. Unless there were crossover votes again.

The thing with the nutritional products has come up over and over, and is back again. These weasels are under the order of the WHO to get this passed, removing all access to healthy organic food, supplements, and to outlaw backyard gardens. This falls under the WHO code, or CODUS ALIAMENTARIUS, and actually went into law in the US as of Dec. 31, 2009, and is currently being (as covertly as possible) implemented.

Big Pharma was established as a means of population reduction, and they have worked tirelessly to discredit natural, God-given healing and health practices. The ‘alternative’ health industry has grown so large, because of the disillusionment of pharma, that it has become a major threat to their plans to keep us sick and dying.

This is why I have really embraced the study of vibrational and energetic medicine. They can’t take that away from us, no matter what they do! And it’s free!

      • Patriot

I too have e-mailed my Seantor’s & Congressmen and all I get is a form canned e-mail in response asking for a campaign contribution, every week!

      • Angel

Ladies, thanks for the replies. I don’t like Tuna…LOL. I don’t drink and usually do buy generic as long as it says made in the USA.. I know there is not much you CAN buy without buying from the NWO.

I do my research and I know McCain is a snake. He sheds his skin about as often too. I am just afraid if things don’t start looking up in 2011, America is doomed. Ah well, it is all written in the Bible anyways. We knew the end would come eventually. I believe that the Lord is to the point of no return. He is MAD and is going to begin shaking the world with His wrath. Hold onto your seats everyone. It isn’t going to be pretty.

      • Andy Howey

I’ve written and called both of my Senators (Boxer and Feinstein) and the Representative for the Congressional district where I live (Eshoo), and only Eshoo’s office has bothered to respond, and that was only misrepresented platitudes. The trouble is that these people are just political whores. If you can’t pay them, they won’t do anything for you. Case in point, all three of the people I listed are Democrats, theoretically diametrically opposed to G.W. Bush, but all three of the enthusiastically supported and endorsed the Patriot Act. Why? Because they are whores! They don’t care a rat’s @$$ about Homeland Security. The Patriot Act levies new taxes and fees that they can use to further their feminist, pro-gay anti-American agenda’s.

      • Vicki

I know it is hard to keep sending email and have canned responses but we just have to keep doing it. Here is a website with lots of good campaigns and a simple interface to allow you to mail your reps (Mine are the infamous Boxer and Feinstein with Honda leading up the rear)

We just gotta keep using the soap box.

        http://www.downsizedc.org

      • JeffH

Angel & Kate8, I too send regular emails and faxes to my reps. The only one who responds without a standard response is Congressman Devin Nunes. Boxer and Feinstein send the same generic responses that Kate8 receives

      • Andy Howey

So, Vicki and JeffH, do you think that Boxer is going to survive November, or will Fiorina replace her? And, if Fiorina does win, will she be any better? I seem to recall that she did quite a hatchet job on HP back in 2002.

      • Kate8

Angel, We are in the last days, if people are reading things right. We are at then end of an age, a galactic cycle. All scriptures speak of this time, and tell us when it has occurred before and will occur again. Even science now is bearing this out.

We are in ‘birth pains’. I don’t think God is mad. I think He is waking people up (known as the ‘quickening’), increasing knowledge and relevlation at a rapid rate. Scripture says that when we see these signs to not lose heart, but to “look up! For our redemption draws nigh”.

I believe that Earth is preparing for a dimensional shift, and those who allow themselves to be purified by Love will move into the new dimension before the sh*t hits the fan.

I know many will scoff at this, but I can only tell you that I have spent years in constant prayer and meditation, asking to understand the times and prophecy. Especially this year, it’s like information is being downloaded, so fast I can hardly keep up.

To those who will mock me, so be it. To those who know of which I speak, take heart. A new age is dawning.

I think the Lord is filled with joy at this time, because He has prepared a place….

Don’t let fear control you. Fear keeps us in lower vibrations, locked into this downward spiral. It’s time for us to rise up…

      • Angel Wannabe

Angel, I did the same thing, I’ve emailed and sent letters to all of our representatives, the only NON-FORM letter I got was from the Repub,( thats because we know him personally) the other two are both Liberals, Both touted the same old sh*t, and never once mentioned ANYTHING, pertaining to what I’d written, it was all a Liberal rant!

      • JeffH

Andy Howey, my how memories can be deceptive. Carly Fiorina will beat the liberal Democrat Boxer and Fiorina’s accomplisments are partly resonsible for HP’s success today. She pushed for the purchase of Compaq and was met with heavy internal political resistance. Since she was forcwd out, Compaq certainly has helped power HP to the top.

She’s an honest conservative candidate with solid conservative values. I’ve had the good fortune to meet her up close and she did not duck any questions with political doubletalk.

As for Boxer, as part of the liberal/progressive Democratic machine, she’s done enough damage to this nation and California. Time to go Barbara Boxer!

      • Andy Howey

Especially if she takes Feinstein with her…

      • JeffH

Andy Howey, Oh AMEN to that!

      • JeffH

Andy Howey, here is an endorsement from a Coalition for Carly group of current and former HP people…

        Carly at Hewlett-Packard
Carly unites people from various backgrounds and political affiliations. I know, I worked with her at HP and when I heard Carly was running for U.S. Senate in California, I volunteered to help her because of her leadership and record of success at Hewlett-Packard (HP). Those of us who were part of HP, then or now, know firsthand the incredible work that was accomplished after the merger with Compaq and the early effort to place and keep HP at the top of the technology sector. Her leadership style at HP transcended political, cultural and social differences, and I have every expectation Carly will do the same for the people of California and our nation.

        kate8,
I am in agreement with your 3:23 PM posting.
You are right about this being the end times and am familiar with the birth pain signs for Jesus’ return. I didn’t know this was known as the “quickening” when people awaken. Thank you for reminding me to remain joyous as no doubt God is at this time to have His Son come to take His children home. Reminds me of Crystal Lewis’s song “People get ready, Jesus is coming, to take from this Earth His own…”
Thanks for a thoughtful post as always.

      • Kate8

Christin, God patterned the Universe to work in this way. It is not random. He has purpose and plan.

Have you noticed that time seem to be speeding up? Scripture says that in the last days He will pour out His Spirit upon all flesh. All we need to do is allow it. We cannot stop it, but we can resist it.

Just let the Light come into you. Above all, trust Him, and hold the vision of Love and Grace. Only those who refuse to embrace the “quickening” will be left behind, by their own choice and godless nature.

“God has not appointed His people to wrath…”

They have people who count these emails, faxes and phone calls. They do make a difference.

      • old white guy

emails are not of the record and are dumped faster than [offensive word removed] through a goose. they may stay on your computer but try and find them on someone else’s.

      • Craig

Thats if they even get them in the first place. There email servers are usually set to such a low number that they fill up fast.

      • Kate8

Kind of makes one wonder why the elites have allowed him to keep going (Ron Paul).

      • Claire

The MSM rarely, rarely ever mentions Ron Paul. Perhaps the Liberals do not see him as a “threat.” It is a shame that some of the good ones are left by the wayside when in reality they would have been good for America. It is not fair. Nothing is fair in politics.

      • BrotherPatriot

I very much like Ron Paul and he’s done some good work for Patriots.

However, at the same time we can’t blindly follow. Since we know the Elites play both sides of the fields…it stands to reason it is very possible that they have various levels of Moles/Agents. They sometimes make mistakes and give themselves away by body language such as handshakes and hand signals, for example and these have been captured in film & pictures. By following the NWO trail and seeing so many Masons as being part of it…this leads us to the fact that Ron Paul’s father was a Mason.

So my point is this…I recently watched Ron Paul give the same hand symbol as other Masons such as Bush Jr did/does. I also remember watching an interview of him stating that he was not a Mason but his father was. So obviously I have some concerns about him and I’m not following blindly. I’m keeping my final opinion in reserve about how much influence Ron Paul has in regards to the Elite…both for & against them.

I have great hope that Mr. Paul is truely a Good man and not something as devious as I mentioned. I’m just trying to absorb as much information and truth about all manner of things and then mentioning what I have seen here on this soap box. In my heart I don’t believe he is a double agent. LoL…God I hope not. But there are some interesting facts concerning him that we should all be aware of…& not just following blindly.

^^ That’s what has gotten us into this trouble to being with. >.<

      • Bob

Kate Ron Paul isn’t that big a threat yet. Wait until 2012 to see how much support he has. First the Media will attack him like they did in 2008.

      • Claire

Bruce D–I have sent numerous letters and emails to Durbin and other elected officials here in Illinois. All I get is a form letter thanking me for my concern, however, they think they are on the correct path for the welfare of Illinois-America. Phone calls–a secretary says “he is unavailable but she will give him my message.” I guess I will keep trying, but I feel like I am wasting my time, and so do a lot of my friends.

      • Claire

How in the world did I end up way down here? Duh.

      • Bruce D.

Please do not let the naysayers and defeatest on this blog site stop you from taking positive action. Of course Barara Boxer is not going to send you an e-mail back saying I was wrong and you were right. If she gets enough of them it will cause her to doubt her ability to get reelected. That is the most you can hope for. Politicians that stratle the fense can be swayed. It is the nature of politics. Many democrats are running away from President Obama because of this during this election period. Politicians that agree with you need to know you support them. They get plenty of negative e-mails every day and need to know that their base is strong.

    • debbie bloomfield

I agree 100%. This is very well said.

Not much of a surprise. With the way they spend and print funny money what would anyone think would happen.I hope you all are prepared for a very long depression, the last time it happened it took a world war to fix it and now with all of our industry out of the country we may find our selves with out any way to fix this mess. Why hasn’t any one one in congress stood up and impeached this imposter? Are they all lining their pockets and getting their share so as to leave this country for some island like the caymans? If this dosent prove that the elite have made their move then I dont know what does.NWO like it or not they are going to force it down your throats.Remember November because thats all we have for now.

    • http://?? Joe H.

      dan az
you bring up a very good point. With all the industry moved out of the US, could we put out for a full scale war??? Could this be the plan??

No doubt! They are a sly bunch and they have been planning this for a very long time. They have the upper hand except they where exposed to early and are forgetting that there is a lot of vets still alive that will slow things down.Hopefully the numbers on our side can increase with the awakening of the non believers, will just have to wait and see.

dan az, Oddly enough, I just did some research on the industries, that once prosperous here, just in our area alone. I’ve sound 17(mostly union shops) industries are gone, and are going, within the last 25- 30 years. A lot of the closings, were due to Government intervention, major recalls, EPA, and unions unwillingness to compromise on contracts, as a result the companies closed. A few closings were due to owner deaths & that led to hiring poorly skilled management. One of the last of the big companies here, is headed for Nebraska, I believe the end of this year. When the Feds get involved, it all goes to hell!

    • MSGT JOHN CORREA – USAF (RET)

      Dan Az,

The reason why the foreign-born Muslim Communist U.S. President Barack Hussein Obama II hasn’t been Impeached is that both U.S. Houses are totally controlled by the liberal socialist communist Democratic Party. God permitting; once we take over both Houses in November, we the patriots must insist that our representatives generate an immediate Impeachment and Deportation against this foreign-born U.S. President. This procedure can legally take immediate effect in accordance with the Constitution of the United States of America. We can then declare all of Obama’s executive orders, nominations, and appointments as NULL and VOID. There are several ways to recover the loss of our economy by having our lost industries return to the U.S. with a written promise to get off their backs with foolish regulations and unreasonable taxation. Unionism must be curbed and prevented from stealing workers monetary dues for political donations by Union Bosses. Agencies such as Homeland Security must be abolished along with other redundant federal agencies that are totally useless. I can remember when the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was our nation’s foe against foreign and domestic enemies without any political ties or interference. The EPA must go. We have have enough oil in the United States that out-numbers that of the Arab world. Simply put; we have enough resources in this country that would restore this nation back to its economic greatness. If any of you ever bothered to read your world history, you will find great nations of the past that destroyed themselves as a result of “greed, corruption, and total moral decadence. Think about this folks, otherwise, this nation will be doomed if we continue to follow the same path as that of past history.

      • Average Joe Patriot

And that is the key question, isn’t it?

Just how do We The People make all this wonderful stuff happen? Some have said: “Vote!” For whom, Tweedle Dee? Or Tweedle Dumb?

Others ask: “But how do we know the elections won’t be rigged?”

Silly question. You can bet your last useless Fed Reserve IOU they’ll be rigged. You don’t think they’ll leave the fate of the “free” world up to us, do you? We each get one vote. Here’s what They get:

        1. Pre-selection of “acceptable” major candidates
        2. All the air-time they want
        3. Bought- and paid-for pundits
        4. Gerrymandered voting districts
        5. Red-lining rights in voting districts
        6. The ability to purchase entire voting blocs
        7. Real-time control of all campaign tactics
        8. Ownership of voting booths
        9. Ownership of electronic voting machines
        10. Ownership of regional vote-counting machines
        11. Ownership of vote-count reporting media
        12. Ownership of post-election media spin

…to name a few. But hey! Don’t waste your vote! (Let Them do it for you.)

Each and every election since JFK (and many prior) have been nothing more than a changing of the guard. The guards may have different faces, but they all follow the same rulebook. I mention JFK because he was perhaps the last president we had who seriously thought he was actually in charge of the United States (he was disabused of that mad notion in no uncertain terms).

But vote! If it makes you happy. (After all, that is precisely what the whole charade is designed to do; that is all it is for.)

You split the uprights on that one. Our “leaders” have allowed the applause and supportive comments to go to their collective heads. They think that with the sound of their voice or the stroke of their pen that the earth will shake and mountains will be moved. I think they truly believe(not all but most)that without them calling the shots America will fail.

I have a little FYI for them…. God created the universe and everything we see,He created man and woman. He has given these leaders the talents that they are abusing. He can also take away these very same talents.

Another 9-11?????? two more or ten more 9-11s??????Lets take back our great nation and force our leaders to love our great nation or get out of office.Lets force our leaders to put America and the American people first and do the very best job they can for America and the American people or force them out of office. Its time for America to rise and take back our freedoms and start becoming the great America the world over truly knows.

Is this what the Left is planning?

Is this what some of the Democratic supporters are
planning? Are some of these supporters
putting in a powder they call “Jock Strap”?

Is their budget about $100,000 to allow sending
75,000 Puffies to Republicans, their offices, and the
        homes of their supporters?

Are they trying to give Obama a reason to issue
a Presidential Order to shut down the 2010 elections
until the Puffie issue is resolved?

Are huge numbers of 99ers also playing Puffie to
force the US Government to take some action?
Is this Puffie stuff just a low cost US civil war?

@guyb, not arguing with your point about our tax dollars building 29 mosques but, where do you get that information. What is the source. I haven’t seen anything about that. If true, I want to trumpet that via my channels.

      • Ozel01

Hey Rabid, I don’t know where the source for the mosque building is but I have heard it and seen mini-bites about it on crawls on news channels. It is something the elites want to keep as low keey as possible. An example is US tax dollars going to rebuild mosques and other buildings in war torn Iraq and Afghanistan. For those places, it is somewhat understandable to rebuild if we demolished them through our bombing campaigns. But, how many times did the enemy demolish something then claim it was errant US bombs that caused it? I know of a few occasions where that happened but just how we can determine one from the other is beyond me. But yes, I completely agree we need to kick these people to the curb at the voting booth. Also, if we already are in an area that is reliably conservative, we need to channel our dollars to places where we need to throw a liberal/progressive out the door. I am personally donating to the Senate Conservatives Fund as well as directly to the Carly Fiorina campaign and the Sharon Angle campaign. I try to apply my funds to those races that are going to be extremely close to help the underdog get over the top.

There are no mosques being built anywhere using tax dollars…that’s a blatant lie. All religions in this country get the benefit of not paying property tax and having non profit status…Christian and Muslim alike.

to anyone who wants us as a country to wake up!!!! Great..but this is not the same wonderful country we use to know….it has been taken over by millions coming into this country and doing whatever they want to do….They do not respect our laws or contatutions..In truth they dont care about the so called ‘free living’ in this country. Yes…we all need to wake up…what ever amount that may be. Even an amount as little as 10 true Christians can make a difference.

      s c – You said a mouthfull! Wise words.

The only power the elites have is the power we allow them. They control us by the media, keeping us in fear and hopelessness. They tell us things are dire and we act accordingly.

We need to stop listening to the “experts” and take back our power. We are more powerful than they, by sheer numbers! If we all stand together and hold the vision of the world we want, and refuse to bow to their manipulations, evil will be powerless against us.

They want us preparing for revolution and chaos. I say, what we need is a revolution of our thinking. Scripture says victory comes from the renewing of the mind. In fact, this truth is reflected in all the scriptures of the world, for those with ears to hear.

We cannot fight them on their level. But there is One who can render all their weapons useless. Darkness has no effect in the light, but Light makes darkness flee.

        Kate8,
I think you would enjoy reading this free online book. Some examples are dated (written in 1970s) but the principles are timeless:

Well said Kate8. Revolutions most often end with a new tyrant just as bad if not worse than the old. Recent history of the communist countries and the “communist” revolutions in those countries demonstrate this. Recent history of the military overthrows in South America show this.

We have the unusual ability to use 3 other boxes to make change without revolutions. Change our thinking and make changes thru those boxes and we will not have to open the 4th box.

For new readers here those boxes are
Soap box (currently most demonstrated by blogs like this one)
Ballot box (the one we will use this November.)
Jury box (were we judge the law itself as well as the facts of the case)
Ammo box (that would be No.4 and needs no explanation).

      • Richard Pawley

“They want us preparing for revolution and chaos.” Actually Kate, I don’t think they want us preparing at all. A few might but the evil we are fighting would rather see our world in chaos and even the scripture (Old Testament of the Hebrew-Christian Bible) says that it is a prudent thing to prepare for danger. Joseph was warned of the 7 year famine in a dream but it doesn’t take a prophet to figure out that there are powers in the world and in the government that do not have our best interests at heart. It also doesn’t take a prophet to forecast, as I have, that food and all things imported will eventually triple in price. Some believe we will see this within a year or two but I only know it is coming, not when. With insane bills in Congress like SB 1689 and SB 510 we need to be very aware and we need to vote out anyone who would consider destroying our freedoms in such a way.

“I say, what we need is a revolution of our thinking. Scripture says victory comes from the renewing of the mind. In fact, this truth is reflected in all the scriptures of the world, for those with ears to hear. We cannot fight them on their level. But there is One who can render all their weapons useless. Darkness has no effect in the light, but Light makes darkness flee.”

I agree with you whole heartedly. We don’t just need Republicans in office, but Independent thinkers who are not sold out to the special interests. You would not believe the goodies, money, power, sex, that is available to those who get elected. Even good men and women have succumbed to such and just this past summer a mayor of a town in New York was lamenting to me that even the best seem to get corrupted when they go to Washington.

It is truly a fight between good and evil and as I wrote in one of my books, evil often wins because we don’t even recognize that we are in a war. For instance 72% of Americans understand that the militant faction of Islam (only 7 to 10% we are told, nothing to worry about BUT THAT IS 75 TO 110 MILLION PEOPLE) understands that building the mosque in NYC NEAR THE WTC SITE is a sign to the uneducated masses that they have defeated the greatest country in the world! I know of freedom loving Muslims who oppose it because they know what it means. They believe that Mayor Bloomberg’s family has been threatened and that is why he supports it.

It may be all about money and greed but I believe as do millions that it is about much more. Building a mosque on the site of their vanished victims holiest site has been a typical way for more than a thousand years to prove the superiority of their god. We don’t have a national religion, something the 100 million hate and they do women and freedom and so much more, so the WTC was the symbol of the USA that most stood out in their minds and why they had to destroy it. I wonder about the 28% of Americans who don’t know that but then I realize they attended public schools. (Want to drive the Marxist wachos crazy? Just point out that the founder of the American public school system – Webster – said that education without the Bible is useless!) However, God has revealed to more important persons than I that we are headed for an economic crisis that will equal our moral crisis and will make the Great Depression look like a walk in the park. It mention this in both my books. We as a nation have turned our back on God and have desired to be a secular nation. He has not turned His back on those who seek him and follow who His ways but many do not. We do need to replace the 111th Congress in seven weeks, but that alone will not stop the inflation and eventual food shortages. Not being a prophet I cannot tell you exactly when all this will happen, but some of my sources think we only have a few months to a few years. Many think 2012 will be a pivotal year when Obama is retired and someone new takes over but let’s hope and pray that even if they can’t straighten out the economy in this generation they can at least be a moral leader. Sadly, those who are just going their merry way and not preparing at least a little will be greatly shocked at this coming decade. As I pointed out recently we have more gold in the US Treasury (if we still own it) than anyone else in the world (no audits are allowed because of national security??? which makes me suspect we don’t have what we used to have, over 261 million ounces), BUT THE DEFICITS OF THE 111TH CONGRESS OF THE LAST FOUR YEARS ARE GREATER THAN THE CURRENT VALUE OF ALL THE GOLD WE HAVE – NOT THE DEBT, JUST THE DEFICITS. We are broke, bankrupt as a nation, except for paper, and we can and seem to be, just printing more of that. I wish they would run me off a dozen million or so. I’d spend it fast on things that I will need and which may not be available (like in Cuba where even Castro admits that socialism has not worked there). The point is that we need to have at least a winter pantry of non-perishable foods like our early pioneers did and as is suggested in the Bible in different words. A knowledgeable person can buy many things that are relatively cheap now that will be incredibly expensive, maybe even more than gold, in the future. 98% of the population has never even held a gold coin in their hand but they can’t eat it. A vacuum packed can of coffee will last a decade or more (in my experience) and the food inflation that is coming will make freeze dried meats and vegetables a valuable thing to have in the future and if all the experts are wrong and God’s warning is for the following decade and not this one then all a person will have done is save a lot of money buy buying a few months worth of freeze dried foods, some of which will last a generation if stored in a cool dry basement. Don’t’ go crazy over this, and don’t over spend as there are great differences in quality and price, but since you are a believer you can surely pray about this and what it will mean to your family.

A place to start might be http://store.honeyvillegrain.com as I have gotten a number of items from them at reasonable prices and they have sales a couple of times a year. A group of people can buy in quantity cheaper but if the Democrats or the EPA or any group of bureaucrats pass an energy bill to greatly raise taxes on fuel it will also affect the price of food. Shipping is not cheap now and it will only get higher. It’s a reason why a blessed person is one who does not have to live in the city and who can grow a bit of his own food. There is still time to learn but not a lot of it. Pray to Our Father in Heaven, in Jesus name, that He work His will in all the elections, and then get out and vote the 111th into retirement. New people could not do worse that those we have but they might get blamed for what is going to happen because we always blame whoever is running the show at the time. We simply cannot afford the continued squandering of money that Congress seems insistent upon doing. May God bless you and all who read this. He loves us but it is for us to be on His side not for Him to be on our side. Dum Spiro Spero! And for us, afterwards too!

      • Kate8

Richard, When I said that they want us “preparing for war and chaos”, I didn’t mean it in the sense you took it. I meant that they want us to revolt as a means of overthrowing them, and that we are looking toward that as our battle plan.

Of course, we do need to “hope for the best, and prepare for the worst”, as far as stocking up, but that’s another issue.

        Good post, Richard. Godspeed.

guyb – I see you are trying to get a point across and, rest assured, your point is well taken and agreed with, for the most part, I’m sure.

Islam is diametrically opposed to our American way of life, and is not our friend. Even moderate Islam (is there such a thing?) is a smokescreen, since Islam is a political ideology as much as a religion.

I welcome anyone who is of good faith, good character and a love for the American way, and is willing to go through legal channels. But I believe the reason for the influx of Muslims was to cause disruption and corruption of our culture, and it has worked quite well.

        Godspeed, brother.

guyb – BTW, there are many Muslims who are having visions and all sorts of epiphanys. God has His Ways.

K88 – “We can’t fight them on their level.”

Right on, Doll. We, anybody who is deeply concerned about doing right and respects/loves God enough to do what HE asks, would need to give up a mighty high position to fight on their level. In Ephesians 1:20 It says God raised up Christ and set him at His own right hand…(far above all principality, power, might, dominion and big-time named celebrity on earth or in heaven in this age and the next). In Ephesians 2:6 God had Paul write: “And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”

The only thing they’ve got is the effrontery to act like they’re somehow over us. The terrible thing is Christians believe the front more than what God says, most of the time (or they’re ignorant of what God has done for them and how to use it – no thanks to unbelieving pastors and priests who can’t pray their way out of a sitting position). But, you’re right we can’t fight on their level, ’cause they can’t fight on ours – if Christians will only get clear on what they’ve been given and how to use it. It isn’t difficult to get a handle on it: Ephesians 3:4 – Whereby when you read you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ. The only reason it’s “a mystery” is people don’t read PAUL’S EPISTLES Instead they listen to priests and ministers who make lofty speeches, but can’t put the proof of their puddin’ on the front lines.

Whenever God’s people stood up and got in the Devil’s face, on the basis of what God says, They have never, ever lost.

      • old white guy

mike i agree. i have not read one word in the Bible that says we have to commit suicide.

      • Richard Pawley

Before we were born in the first part of the previous century two elderly ladies got together in prayer in England. They were neighbors and one of them always felt wonderful when she prayed with her friend. The other heard the Lord speak to her and instruct her over a ten year period. Two books came out of that experience, the classic paperback, GOD CALLING edited by A. J. Russell being the first. What comes to mind is one of the 360 different things that Jesus said to the woman who was open to hearing Him and that is this: WHEN YOU SEE HOW WONDERFULLY YOUR PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED, YOU WILL REGRET, DEEPLY REGRET THAT YOU DID NOT PRAY MORE. As I mentioned in one of my books, who can look around or read the daily paper, or watch the TV news and not pray at all that is going on. It is why I exhort believers to pray. That is something we all can do and I have seen things happen that only pray and God could bring about. Another time Jesus told the listening woman, “Your whole life is but a parenthesis in a sentence, in a paragraph on the page of the book of your life. Birth opens the parenthesis, death closes it, then back to real-life history,” and He told them to try to remember that, when they were going through times of hardship or sorrow or even times of joy and success. It is all a parenthesis! Great paperback, still available on eBay and an all-time Christian best seller although the sequel is a bit harder to find. May God bless all who read this and remember to encourage your friends to vote in seven weeks. It will be the most important election in 50 years!

      • American Citizen

At the 8/28 rally in DC, Glenn Beck challenged us all to pray for 40 days and 40 nights. On his show today, he told about some people who had e-mailed him to say how they came back to God by doing as he said. God works wonders if we only believe and listen to Him.

      • Kate8

Mike, evil has clever ways, and has infiltrated the Church. That is why we were cautioned that “many will come in My Name…”

Do not rely on others to tell you the Way. Rely on your own Voice of the Lord. If we have been faithful and sought the Truth with all our hearts, He will not fail us.

The world is filled with deception and deceit, and much of it comes from within the institutions we trust the most. We must develop a true relationship with Truth, pray for discernment, and trust in the Creator of the Universe.

      • Richard Pawley

It says in the Bible to “test the spirits” so one has to suppose that Christians were supposed to be in touch with the Holy Spirit. The main way to do that according to the Bible is to require that any spirit that is giving you instructions can say “Jesus is Lord”. Those from the dark side cannot say that although some will try to fudge it. They have a different lord. Another way of testing is that a spirit of the Lord or from the Lord will never tell you something that is contrary to what is written in the Bible. On some things you will have to know the Bible better than I do but it is a good check. However the first one it the most critical one. That is a test and a check for those who have experienced God as did the 120 in the upper room in chapter 2 to ACTS just past the gospels and who are open to being guided individually from the Holy Spirit. I once didn’t think to check and immediately got a traffic ticket. On another occasion I could have lost my life but I was younger and did not know all this because my church didn’t teach it. On another occasion I was directed to go to St. Louis three months hence, a round trip of 3,000 miles. You better believe I prayed to make extra sure I was being guided and after waiting three months and getting tickets on four aircraft it turned out to be a very worthwhile trip. I write about this sort of thing in my soon to be updated autobiography. Praise God! And I would add what Jesus said to his own disciples: Fear Not! There is a lot of that going around too but November 2 is only seven weeks away!

This two party system is a complete hoax, and the American people are now aware of this scam. Now we have the Teaparty (forget Beck and Palin) the real Teaparty was started by Ron Paul, (who Beck called a threat to America back in 08 because his followers were calling for a revolution. We need to boot all of these corrupt politicians out of office and in 2012 vote in a man of integrity like Ron Paul, or Jesse Ventura, or Peter SCHIFF. tIME IS RUNNING OUT FOR OUR ONCE GREAT rEPUBLIC.

      • Richard Pawley

While it’s true that sold out Democrats are not that different from sold out Republicans, it takes more than just having a lot of common sense or thinking differently from the majority to be elected president. The people you mention are all good people but they are not going to be elected president for various reasons (Peter Schiff might make it as a vice-president). Ron Paul is a good member of Congress but his opposition to around 70% of the American population who understand what he does not about the LOCATION of the WTC Mosque being essential to the Islamic World Revolution. It is not an issue of religious freedom. There are many dozens of mosques in NYC and some of them are undoubtedly centers of religion for their followers, but the militant muslim modus operandi has been to build a mosque over the chief religious site of the each country they have conquered. They built the Dome of the Rock over the Temple of David and Solomon in Jerusalem. They build a large mosque over the destroyed Othrodox Christian church in Constantinoble which is now called Istanbul. The built a mosque over the former site of the Catholic Church in Cordoba, Spain, and so it goes. We have no national church or even religion so the WTC was chosen as the site most representative of the United States (Is money our religion? Not really but perhaps to some.) This Cordoba Mosque can’t be built on the exact site of the former WTC as yet free Americans would tear it down before it was built but as long as it’s close to the WTC it’s meaning is clear around the world to those who oppose freedom of relgion, equal rights for women, and individual freedom in general. I have always admired Ron Paul but I was shocked that he did not realize this particular mosque had nothing to do with the Constitution or freedom of religion. What Rep. Paul doesn’t seem to understand is that religon and government (Sharia Law) are one and the same to militant Islam. There is no seperation of church and state in Islam. They are one and the same. If we do not recognize that then we will pay the price and it is understandable that some frustrated Americans in other cities would lash out at other mosques around the country, unfortunate at that may be. We must vote out the 111th congress who has spent us into nearly oblivion but even replacing them will not stop the eventual tripling of food and imported goods in the not to distant future that their squandering of the public treasury will cause. Don’t discount the morality that Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin are trying to bring back to the United States. They understand that only a return to the foundational principles and the fundamental values of our country can sustain us and keep us from breaking up into several smaller countries (although they may not have thought it out that far) or worse yet, morphed into some kind of New United States that is nothing like we have ever seen before, a fascist or socialist state. Much change is coming in this decade and we need to prepare for it as best we can. May God bless the United States because no one else is going to do so.

Most people will never get it. All those hosts on TV or cable are not for the American people. They are for the corporations that advertise on their shows. They don’t care about us. We don’t provide money for them. Fox is for Republicans and MSNBC is for Democrats. They both want the little guy to be a slave to the elite. left/right liberal/conservative It’s all BS

      • Bernard from Michigan

I doubt anyone will disagree with your thought Ron but for the sake of learning I must. History has taught us (or should have were we alert) that the true nature of man is just as GOD said, “To do evil all the day long.”. With this in mind I think that whomever we elect will become obessesed with their own intellect and will be anxious about getting the job done (with good intentions), however we the people do not agree and there is therefore distention amoungst the masses. Hence, regardless of who is in office we will see the same deeds but just a different Kings. I take you back to the first King that GOD enthroned and every King since then. Many, started out with GODs thoughts but quickly relied on their own and their administrations thoughts/suggestions.

Jesse Ventura is a non-believer, and with his attitude concerning the GOD of ABRAHAM, ISAAC, and JACOB, I will not support or vote for him mainly due to his belief that man can “solve” the problems that man (Because of SATAN having introduced SIN into the world)caused in the first place!
That is pure and total “IGNORANCE”, of the WORD of GOD!
The ONLY ONE who can RID the world of SIN, is the RETURN of JESUS CHRIST!Then, and ONLY then will the LION LAY DOWN WITH THE LAMB!

You are right on! Ron Paul or someone with similar views is who we need to direct this nation before it is completely turned into a communist/nazi has been country. As an American citizen, I am NOW fully awake and ready to expel those who want to take this nation down–people like Pelosi, Reid, Dodd and others, including our President. Let’s stay focused!

      • Joe Johnston

Hooray for you! Ron Paul IS the man whom should be our president. He has run for office of president before. He’ss just not a amn with charisma–which is what most of the idiots that vote like in a candidate.
SO— I’d love it to have a Ron Paul / Sarah Palin ticket. He’d have a better chance. I voted for Sarah last election. Senator McCain is one of many of whom need a taste of unsweet tea.
I don’t think Sarah can do as good a job as president as Ron Paul, but she will darn sure help make it happen! Also, she would generate a comfort in me knowing that if Ron Paul passed away she would hold the reigns. After 8 years og Ron Paul/Sarah Palin, Sarah could then be ready for president! Ohhh–what a dream! I am now 62. To see that all happen I’d be 72 or so. Wish me good health and a long life so I can vote for our nation’s future direction.
Nightmare dream: Obama re-elected. Obama passes away. Leaves Mrs. Clinton (or a slim chance of Biden) as sucessor whom chooses Pelosi as vice.) Maybe I should send this outline to Steven King or Dean Koontz? Whadda u think? Joe J in Georgia

So many warnings, so many solutions, and so many people who couldn’t care less.

LONG AGO: A man named Noah (the conspiracy theorist of his time) warns his people that a great flood is fast approaching. His preparations for the event are largely dismissed as crazy, and he is constantly the subject of ridicule and mockery. Even as the heavy rains turn torrential; the people continue to laugh, eat, drink and dance…right up until the water level rises high enough to sweep them all away.

1912: As the RMS Titanic takes on water; word spreads among the passengers that they must prepare to abandon ship. Many refuse to board lifeboats because they are convinced that the vessel cannot sink. Some stay in the lounges to socialize while others return to their cabins and fall fast asleep. The lifeboats aboard the Titanic have the capacity to accommodate 2/3 of the passengers, but many of them are sent away nearly empty because some people refuse to take the crisis seriously.

1913: While treasonous politicians conspire to relinquish control of the U.S. economy over to European central banks; Congressman Charles Lindbergh, Sr. warns:

“This Act [the Federal Reserve Act, Dec. 23rd 1913] establishes the most gigantic trust on earth. When the President [Woodrow Wilson] signs the Bill; the invisible government of the Monetary Power will be legalized. The people may not know it immediately, but the day of reckoning is only a few years removed. The worst legislative crime of the ages is perpetrated by this banking and currency Bill. The new law will create inflation whenever the trusts want inflation. From now on, depressions will be scientifically created.”

His warning is ignored, and by 1929, America falls victim to its first “scientifically created” depression.

PRESENT DAY: The United States has entered into yet another “scientifically created” depression—brought about by the same unsound money policies—controlled by the same corrupt banking cartels.

Somewhere in America; a young man wearing an “End the Fed” T-shirt stands alone—across the street from a Federal Reserve Bank—shouting the prophetic words of Thomas Jefferson through an amplified bullhorn:

“If the American People allow private banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the People of all their Property until their Children will wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered.”

Many passerbys snicker while others stop to stare. A marked police cruiser pulls to the curb and demands that the young man leave the public sidewalk. He reminds the officer of his first amendment right of free speech and peaceful assembly. The officer reminds him that he couldn’t care less. He pulls a Taser from his utility belt and fires two probes into the boy’s chest—sending him to the ground—where is subdued, and then loaded into the backseat of the cruiser before being hauled away.

Among the gathering crowd, few gasp in disbelief but are afraid to say a word. Others point and laugh while the rest join in a morbid cacophony of cheers and applause.

It is a scene that is becoming far too common. Across America, peaceful dissent and protest is being met with brute force, while ordinary citizens stand on the sidelines watching in amusement as the face of their fellow countrymen meet the stamping boot of the police state.

The Constitution has become a relic, and those who live by it are becoming a nuisance to those who would like to see it torn to shreds. Word has come down from on high that these protests must end. A new strategy to quell dissent is being deployed through mainstream media personalities, who have been given orders to reign in their flocks by controlling and limiting their mode of expression.

In the days leading up to Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor” rally, the self-described rodeo clown instructed attendees not to bring signs or posters. Most complied, some chose instead to bring flags or dress up in colorful “period piece” costumes.

Weeks later, in a two minute segment of his Fox television program, Beck addressed his obedient flock and pleaded for them to abandon their signs and costumes altogether. He referenced a new website by Think Progress, which Beck alledges was launched, “for the sole purpose of making you in to the crazy costume person, the racist or the conspiracy theorist. They are going to try to make you into anything that you are not.”

Instead of encouraging his viewers to be discriminating in the signs they hoist or the clothes they wear, he suggested that his viewers give in to the criticism. Beck told his people to, “Dress normally” and to, “Take the signs down.”

He then shared about a conversation he had with his daughter, who suggested that she really didn’t care what people said about her clothing. His fatherly response to her was, “well, other people do,” and then concluded by suggesting that the lesson for the day was: “Don’t give the media even a chance to typecast you.”

This is a clever psy-op using lots of double speak. Beck is actually conditioning his people to be shamed over the use of signs, loud speech and clothing with political statements. By instructing his people to avoid criticism, he is actually projecting that he concurs with the criticism itself.

Once these people accept that this behavior is a social faux pas, they too will join into the criticism and demonization of those who hold signs, use bullhorns or wear T-shirts with statements like “9/11 Was an Inside Job,” or “Don’t Tread on Me.”

Beck also suggested to his viewers that instead of bringing signs, they should bring their children. This is an even more sinister plan. The idea here is to use children as a tool to further demonize protestors. At certain events, Beck’s “quiet” minions will show up—with their sons or daughters in tow—and confront more passionate demonstrators and remind them to, “Keep it down– children are present.” I’m sure you can envision how that will look on the evening news.

But this strategy to quell dissent is not confined to the establishment right. The establishment left has its own plan, ripped straight from the pages of leftist icon Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals.” Rule #5 of that book states:

“Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counteract ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.”

On October 30, 2010—the Daily Show’s Jon Stewart and Stephan Colbert of the Colbert Report will be staging duel rallies in Washington D.C. to spoof Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor” rally and the Tea Party movement in general.

While we all enjoy good satire from time to time—even when the ribbing is done at our expense—these particular events should not be merely taken at face value.

The home page for Jon Stewart’s “Rally To Restore Sanity,” describes the event as,

“…a rally for the people who’ve been too busy to go to rallies, who actually have lives and families and jobs (or are looking for jobs)… Think of our event as Woodstock, but with the nudity and drugs replaced by respectful disagreement.”

Respectful disagreement? This is sure a stark contrast to the liberal left that pioneered the explosive, ‘in-your-face’ anti-war, anti-fascist movement of the 1960’s and 70’s. Today, the liberals seem to have no time for that. But apparently some will at least be able to find the time to attend a mock rally of tomfoolery that serves no other purpose than to further alienate the left from the right.

The page goes on to read, “We’re looking for the people who think shouting is annoying, counterproductive, and terrible for your throat…bring your indoor voice”

Yeah, God forbid that we annoy our oppressors with our grievances or scratch our throats while exercising our first amendment rights. The reason we’re in the mess we’re in is because too many people have been using their “indoor voice” for too many years. Silence and complacency are the only things that are counterproductive. I shutter to think what might have happened if Paul Revere had been stopped midway through his midnight ride and convinced that his “shouting” was “annoying” and “counterproductive.”

The liberals have lost their mojo when it comes to demonstrations. Their recent attempts to counter the Tea Party movement with a Coffee Party movement have thus far been an epic failure. During the Bush years, there was at least some semblance of an anti-war movement. But as soon as Obama took office, that all but disappeared.

The popularity and effectiveness of Town Hall confrontations and Tea Party demonstrations has overshadowed the liberal voice. Now, they are turning to more drastic measures by using ridicule to shame and silence their opposition.

Even some Tea Party groups, who many believe are free of establishment control, are starting to sound like they have been co-opted, and are preaching the same rhetoric as Glenn Beck.

Amy Kremer, chairman of the Tea Party Express, recently said, “The time has come for us to put down the protest signs and pick up the campaign signs and get engaged. We have stood on the sidelines for long enough protesting.”

So now we have both the establishment left and right working in concert to stifle the steadfast American tradition of dissent. The right will be cordial, the left will laugh and the criminals in our government will have nice quiet streets to travel down as they take this country straight to Hell.

REPLY TO RON; HEY DON’T WORRY ABOUT WHAT G. BECK, OR ALL THE OTHERS SAY THEY JUST SAY WHAT THEY WERE TOLD THEY CAN SAY JUST LIKE ALL THE OTHERS. OR ELSE WE WOULD HAVE LEARNED FROM THEM (fox news)THAT OVER 80 % OF OUR VERY OWN CONGRESS IS ETHER SOCIALIST OR COMMUNIST, OR THE FACT THAT CHRISTOPHER DODD IS THE GRANDSON OF JOSEPH STALIN, THIS IS IN OUR GOVERNMENT, AND THIS IS THE STUFF WE DON’T LEARN FROM FOX NEWS, G.B. AMONG A LOT OF OTHER NITTY,GRITTY STUFF THAT PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW.
YEAH WE BETTER HAVE RON PAUL HE IS THE ONLY ONE CAN BE TRUSTED, MAYBE GB
IS WORRIED ABOUT HIS WAGES BECAUSE RON PAUL SAID HE WOULD CLOSE THE IRS
WHEN HE GOT IN, LIKE THE OTHER REPUBLICANS BECAUSE SO MANY OF THEM LIVING OF THE PEOPLES TAX MONEY. I THINK WE NEED TO TURN OFF THE TV, SPORTS, AND LEARN ABOUT WHATS GOING ON AND WHERE WE ARE GOING IT’S NOT PRETTY, BUT WE MUST KNOW THIS STUFF.

      • John R. Bloxson Jr

Ron Paul is a Secular Progressive in his veiws of Christianty, He is a Isolationist when it ccomes to world affairs and he is a liberal when it comes to abortion and euthanasia. Lets look at these first he believes in decriminalization of Drugs, and Free Speech unless you hold an unpopular view such as the true Christians view of morality. Second As an Isolationist he forgets that we tried that twice before and it didn’t work in fact both times ended in World War’s and we lost 560,000 lives so Isolationism is a bust. Morality include Life as Sacred but if your sick and infirm you should cross the Bridge a euthamism for state asisted suicide, Abortion the killing of Babies because they are an inconvience so I am sorry Ron Paul may make a good senator but No I want a Preside t that believe firmly in family values and true morality.

My question is: what ever happened to Jesse Ventura’s T.V. show ? Was he getting too close to the truth about government ? Bildaberg, lets set the story stright. They are a group of ” ultra ” rich people bent on the overthrow of capitalism in this country ! If we loose FREEDOM, we will be subjects, or worse, muslim. Our school systems are a joke, the commie/liberals have “DUMBED” down the kids, (example)Just ask any kid in high school what they know about the second world war, they are being taught that it was our fault!Wake up AMERICA, Vote the (” in’s, out”)this election and in 2012 !!!

    • old white guy

this crap will go on and on. you will not change it at the ballot box. the second amendment is your salvation. only the brave need apply. the home of the brave has become the home of the coward on welfare. carry on.

      • NHPATRIOT

I think you are correct. I hope for the best but am prepared for revolution. Those on this forum that think we can’t fight them are either cowards or delutional. I bet there is easily 3-5 million, yes million, gun owners who are willing to fight for our country if need be. That would be an army bigger than any ever seen. We may suffer heavey losses but we will win by shear numbers alone, if we do it right and take out the head of the snake first, we won’t have to lose our brothers and sisters in such high amounts though.

      • Kate8

NHPATRIOT – The MIC has weapons that can blow the eardrums out in a crowd (acoustical crowd-control), frequency weapons and laser weapons that can drop small or large numbers of people in their tracks, nerve gas, neutron bombs and, of course, nukes. I’m sure that is just the tip of the iceberg.

They could wipe out an entire city of gun-owners in minutes, and that would send a huge chill up the backs of the rest.

This is what I mean about not being able to fight on their level. We are no cowards, and are not afraid to die. I would rather die than live as a slave. But we are not suicidal, either and, just maybe, there is a better way.

      • Average Joe Patriot

Couple or three problems with that, Kate. The MIC has some of these weapons, and more sci-fi stuff on the drawing boards, true. But what they bring to the party will be predominantly what they are using (and losing with) in Southwest Asia. Faluja didn’t end Iraqi resistance, and crowd control weapons (even drone bombs) don’t seem to be making much of a dent in a ragtag bunch of Taliban slinking through the hills with cheap AK-47s. That’s the first problem.

A second problem is that attempting to subdue a million, or two or three million armed Americans on their home turf using American forces presents said forces not only with an obvious conflict of interest (for troops sworn to uphold their oath to the Constitution), but with an insurmountable task. Look at the size of Afghanistan compared to the US. Compare the populations.

Furthermore, armies always have deserters, disillusioned and war weary. One thing which keeps their number down is that, short of defecting to the other side, they have few options. American troops fighting American citizens on American soil, however…that would be another story. Deserters could, in fact, be defectors, because they’d simply be taking off their uniforms and shazam, they’re home (and welcome back citizens!).

But that would not be the whole story. Unlike defectors in most situations, these defectors would assimilate immediately into the “rebel” populace, they would be on familiar turf with an innate urge to protect it, they would already have been trained in the latest techniques of modern warfare and familiar with the “enemy’s” tactics, many would know how to organize. And though they might leave their uniforms behind, that is not to say they wouldn’t “requisition” a few intel reports and weapons upon their departure. Possibly even a few of the MIC’s latest sci-fi toys. I wouldn’t sell our troops short so quickly, Kate.

Not that I’m advising it, mind you, but just how many more Wacos, Ruby Ridges, false flag events, and clear trammelings of the Constitution do we suppose a country born of blood and revolution will put up with before it begins to actually wake up?

There are some extremely pissed off Baby Boomers out there who’ve been dutifully attending to the soapboxes, the ballot boxes, the jury boxes, and feel quite rightly they’ve been screwed at every turn. Many cannot, in good conscience tell Generations X, Y, and Z that the way to make the system work is by working within the system. That would be disingenuous, and a further betrayal to generations already betrayed beyond reparation.

Our founders spoke and wrote at great length on this subject: What to do when our inalienable rights are being systematically denied. They weren’t any longer speaking of voting, writing letters of protest, signing petitions, and carrying signs.

They were talking about carrying guns. Not for use against others’ religious beliefs or disbeliefs; rather, against unlawful taxation, warrantless search and seizure, invasion of privacy, imprisonment without habeus corpus, forced disarmament, conviction and punishment without trial, and any other form of tyranny aimed at depriving individuals of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Do we think they were kidding? They were just a bunch of colorful loudmouths in wigs and stockings? At the end of the day the red-coated survivors of Bunker Hill, Lexington and Concord didn’t think so. Nor did Cornwallis after Yorktown.

Don’t be so quick to sell Americans short, Kate. That mistake’s been made before.

      • Kate8

AJP, I would never sell American patriots short.

One military patriot said the troops who would uphold their oaths to the Constitution would be about half.

Don’t forget that many of our troups are foreign-born and know little about our founders intentions. Others are young and socially indoctrinated by our school system, and know little about the Constitution. We have many infiltrators also, who are there to kill our own.

This, coupled with the move to ‘chip’ our soldiers, using technology that employs mind-control, and the allure of power, all factor in.

When the big showdown happens, I doubt the MIC will feel any constraints about using their full-scale weaponry. Right now, they are still playing it a bit cool by not unleashing the hell they could, but when they are ready for their big move…

The end of every cycle of Earth civilization ends in an all-out clash between forces of good and evil, with few survivors to begin again. You know you are near that point when there is extreme polarization taking place among all peoples.

This is the way of things. The best thing any of us can do is center in Spirit and pray for guidance. Then we can only take it as it comes.

      • Tom Dolan

It is part of the American tradition that citizens have the right to oppose tyranny by collective armed action. But such action is neither moral nor prudent when persuasion and political methods are possible.
Regardless of whether one is satisfied with the results of recent elections, free elections offer redress to those who are dissatisfied with current policies. As far as three or four million armed citizens overthrowing the current government (whose source of legitimacy is election or other due proces) watching the movie Zulu may enlighten you on the results of brave men challneging numerically inferior opponents with superior technology. Also what makes you think that those who disagree with you will not resort to armed revolt against you?

      • Richard Pawley

Voting the bums out hasn’t been tried in a hundred years or more. Don’t give up on that yet. I’ve been saying that the election in 7 weeks is the most important in 50 years but maybe it’s the most important in 100 years. I think enough Americans are waking up to make a difference. Don’t vote against every Democrat just those who voted for the move towards socialism. There are a small handful of decent caring Democrats who are decent people who don’t go with the socialist/Marxist/progressive crap. Likewise don’t vote for a Republican just because they are a Republican. Vote for someone who cares about freedom, limited government, and pay as you go government. The coming election is going to be like no other and you want to be a part of it.

      • BrotherPatriot

        Well said, Richard.

      • Erik

Hey Richard Pawley, You are wrong! Anybody that really cares about kicking the corrupt crooks out of D.C. should not vote for one democrat! It doesn’t matter if their “Blue Chip” or moderates or that they don’t believe what obumer is doing! If they feel so strongly about it, they should change their party affilliations! When it comes down to it they are going to go with their own party! They count on people like you to be “fair minded”, Don’t fall for it! So there’s a small party of decent caring democrats huh? Why then do they keep the company of corrupt evil deceivers then? This means they are nothing but hippocrits! Are you really that gullible to believe this?

      • Bonnie

That is the MOST important thing, people are going to have to do something that has been sorely lacking, and that is… educate yourselves. Don’t just ‘vote them all out!’ Educate yourselves to see how they have been voting. There are ample web pages out there that keep tract of voting records of your Senators and Reps. Downsize DC .org is a good one. We’re defeating our purpose if we vote the good ones out. Also, start to let them know that you appreciate their stand against the status quo, and that you ‘got their back!’

    • Lubo

Let’s KICK ALL THEIR BUTTS out of office come November, except for a few good men and women like the very HONORABLE JIM DEMINT and Michele Bachman. Let’s elect people who have actually read the constitution and believe it and HONOR it, word for word.

After november, make the dumb puppit kid in the White House prove his citizenship. If he can’t provide sufficient evidence, then impeach him.

Next item on the list, REPEAL every ounce of legislation this admin has passed to date and then start going back in time, methodically reviewing every piece of legislation passed to date. If it violates OUR CONSTITUTION, then repeal it.

Then and only then will AMERICA be restored.

    • EddieW

The Senate has done a great job feathering their nest…one term and retire for life at that salary!!! Probably can’t change it either…they wouldn’t “approve” of that…just like Amendment 28 to the Constitution…they would be under any laws they make for us!!!
      They have it cushy!!!!!!

    • a progressive nightmare

The foolishness and folly of the 100 year old progressive movement is coming to an end. The domino affect is upon us and there will be no place for these foolish people to hide. Make sure you have plenty of food, water and ammo stored up because you are going to need it, trust me.
