Perception of Reality: It's Not What It Is, It's What We Think It Is

September 6, 2010 by

Perception of Reality: It's Not What It Is, It's What We Think It Is

Almost everyone believes that they see things as they are. Almost no one does.

Our perception of reality rules our lives no matter what we think. Propagandists know the very high manipulative value of peoples’ expectations based on their perception of reality.

The American people are manipulated into serfdom with semantic trickery. Word twisting and semantic trickery is used around the clock to control and manipulate the population’s perception of reality. Public perception is channeled wherever the political establishment wants it to go.

So the difference in people is the way they think. Our individual perception of reality controls our thought processes. Our thought processes control our lives. Word manipulation and semantic trickery controls our thoughts and our total being.

I have written to you that the United States system is in its final stages of collapse. The system can last a short while, any time from a few months to a few years. But the signs and symptoms of collapse are increasingly coming into focus and in plain view.

There is evidence that concern is growing with more and more people. The price of gold and silver tells us this. Gold is a tell-tale indicator of a failing system.

Although I am sure that the elite own tons of gold, including the power to manipulate and steal our national gold, they do not want a rush into gold by the population. They have an organized system of suppressing the gold price. Price suppression keeps down the number of people buying gold.

Gold price suppression extends the life of the system under the present political order. Holding down the price of gold tempers public perception of the collapsing system. The more gradual the rise of the price of gold, the fewer people can discern the decay of the economic and political system. Confidence in the system can be extended. Chaos can be disguised longer.

As long as perception and expectation can be controlled, governments can carry on stealth war against their own people. They can dilute and depreciate the currency and most won’t know it until they wake up impoverished.

Whole populations can be organized and motivated to go to war to protect their possessions, yet their own government can steal their assets and wealth simply by turning on the printing presses and calling the process of theft “quantitative easing.” It seems so simple. Did we lose anybody?

Go look at your paper money. It looks the same but it buys a lot less.

The government is extending the present order by depreciating the currency. It is controlled depreciation and controlled collapse. A gradual collapse keeps more people asleep longer.

The political order desires to control the population by controlling their perception of reality. But in the last stages of collapse the government moves from benevolent totalitarianism (invisible control) to more overt aggression toward its own people.

Remember that government produces nothing but bureaucracy. It only consumes wealth. Therefore, as government grows it consumes more of the people’s production and savings. Couple this with a depreciating currency and the paper money syndrome kicks in. What’s that? It’s that there is never enough for government or the person.

So government under many “emergency” pretexts starts wars, increases taxes (a value-added tax — or VAT — is coming) especially on the “wealthy,” passes new healthcare as a disguise for transfer payments to the insurance companies and the pharmaceutical houses, increases exchange controls and creates stepped-up fear propaganda to intensify people control etc., etc.

This overt and perceptible change triggers more people to wake up. So the system has moved into high gear of self-destruction but it has no options but to try desperately to slow the process of collapse.

The people? Well some are buying gold and silver, some are developing a mindset for revolution. Some start a “Tea Party.” Wealth leaves the country. Many people leave the country. Some store food (I hope).

Government is not asleep. It continually creates myths and counter myths to maintain peak confusion. It creates straw conservatives or “populist” talking heads like Sarah Palin. Anybody or anything that appears to be taking antigovernment root is quickly twisted, diluted or taken over by government propagandists and provocateurs.

Only the hard core, like you readers, see the whole picture of the end game. The politicians turned your stomach long ago.

The Final And Great Deception
As economic and social breakdown appear certain, the government and its politicians pull their ace from their bag of tricks. They start talking about backing the depreciated dollar with gold.

Unless there is an absolute change of regime (not a phony populist movement) any move to restore gold-related paper money will be false and phony — just more of the same.

By this time a big percentage of the people will come to understand that sovereign debt (Government debt) was a Ponzi scheme from the beginning. The bond market will collapse.

People forget or never study history. Governments never pay debts. The people who thought they got paid only received created fiat paper money which cost the money creators nothing.

But many of the readers of Personal Liberty Digest know all of this. So let’s swing out on the ballroom floor!

You all know what really needs to be done! But you lack the simple guts and balls to say the words, or carry out the simple actions needed to set this wanna be american government back on its original path. Pick up your guns and pull these so called americans out of there homes in the middle of the night, like those dirt bags would do to you. Then try them all for treason and hang them at day break, There! thats all that will save this once proud nation. Say no to this and watch them pull your stupid butts out of your beds and put you in re-education camps. When will you STUPID fools learn, There is a document that can fix all of this! it was given to us by god. Its called the declaration of independence read it and see how this paper can fix this problem. Its the only way! I would put my fellow brothers and sisters, but I doubt there are very many real americans left, just all you mouth running scared little babies that don’t have the back bone to do what’s right.

Job Growth??? The only job growth has been in gvt. jobs. There are more people working in gvt. than are working in manufacturing. How can a country grow when the majority of the jobs are paper shuffling beuracrats ? Our only hope is in the Private Sector, with a minimum of gvt. interference. We need to stop immigration from Third World nations, we have enough cab drivers and convienence store operators. Cut Welfare and see how many Americans fill these menial jobs. Curtail foreign trade to countries, like China, where their gvt. subsidizes their export industry to keep their product prices low while killing any competition.

    • HFlashman

      Sigh..ignorant of facts again eh?

      Private sector job growth mid 2009-mid 2010 = 763,000
      Government job growth mid 2009-mid 2010 = (564,000)

      TOTAL Job growth overall Mid 2001-Dec 2008 = 63,000.
(do you really want the figures showing government jobs increasing and private sector jobs decreasing during these years?)

Now…would you like the technical data showing how the Stimulus is working and jobs are coming back…given a 6 month lag between manufacturing growth and job creation? Granted it won’t be robust, and we’ll not be creating more than we’re losing for a year or so … but we’ve stopped the slide into the abyss where we were headed in Jan. 2009.

Would you like the data showing the job loss since Reagan, broken down by President? Would you like the data showing deficit spending as a percentage of GDP…broken down by President?

Jeesh… get over this fairy tale that Reagan was good for the working man and that the Dems are socialist. Fact is fact. Americans have been screwed by the GOP and the wealthy and Big Corporate America have seen great increases in wealth, ownership, and rigidity of class movement.

      • http://gunner689 gunner689

Note, I said manufacturing. all private sector jobs are not in mfg. many are in construction, sales, marketing, ect.

And now, a little sympathy for Bernie Madoff. Do I really feel sorry for him? Not really, BUT it is more than ironic to know that he is America’s scapegoat. Where are the politicians, lawyers, agency heads, media whores, economists, bankers, ivory tower retards, and many OTHER CRIMINALS who should be behind bars?
What we’ve been exposed to is the SAME crap people get when they run to an AMA/FDA MD to get treated for cancer. In most cases, people are told “I think we got ALL of it.” HA!
I’d gladly put Madoff on my Christmas card list. When it comes to people who are part of Uncle Scam and his 24/7 third-rate info magic, screw everyone of them. Give Bernie basic nutrition and some sympathy. Give the rest of them old MREs, daily swift kicks and a reason to stay behind bars for the rest of their UNNATURAL lives. SCUM!

    • American Citizen

Anyone who has/had cancer can tell you that you are never done with it. Even if you go into remission, as I did, eventually years later, it will become active again as it has with me. I was in remission for almost 14 years and am now fighting it again. Remission and cure are two different animals. I don’t think any doctor should consider anyone really cured who has had cancer as there are most probably cells lying dormant just waiting for the right time to become active again. Once you’ve been diagnosed, you are checked at least every six months to a year as to your Markers, which everyone has. If the markers start going up, you have cancer.

      • Anthony

We’re picking up Suzanne Somers new book: KNOCKOUT

In it, she is referring to many other well-known Cancer Therapy Gurus. One even espouses a therapy similar to Dr. Gerson, which is described in the Documentary: Beautiful Truth

I have the video downloaded, and it does promote certain more healthy ways to eat. Like using a Juicer as a regular/daily regimen.

We found KNOCKOUT on Amazon.com, for as little as 12.98/used/harback edition.
Now stepping out to see if HalfPrice Books might have a stash for sael.

      • blv54

I rather be dead of cancer than live on that diet, you should try to eat organic when you can and avoid tapwater definitly and don’t drink anything with corn syrup, honestly how could anyone stick to the diet you describe? I don’t think it’s possible.

Ditto Maryann–And, abolishing the U.S. Department of Education should be the first Federal Bureaucracy to be Abolished and put all Power Over Public Education back in the Communities where it belongs. It was in local and state control for over 200 years, and during that time, we became the most powerful, best educated country in the world. Now, after 40 plus years of Federal Intervention, our public education system sits at Number 28 in the world, trailing many third world banana republics in public school academic outcomes. The deliberate Dumbing Down and Brainwashing has become the Mission of Public Education, and each year, the U.S. Department of Education introduces new rules that Mandates Attendance In these Dumbing Down Institutions to younger and younger ages, now down to age 4 and with plans to mandate Public Indoctrination Centers to children as young as age 2. The Communists Running This Country do not want to take a chance on leaving even one Small Child Behind Who Has Not Been Thoroughly Dumbed Down and Brainwashed Into Becoming a Mindless Robot of the Communist State. And, if you do not believe this, go to Obama’s Educational Plans which he had on his site when he was a Candidate for President. Never forget that Obama’s Best Friend in Chicago was Bill Ayers, who teaches Early Childhood Education at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Bill Ayers is an Avowed Communist who is also a Criminal Who Helped Blow Up Federal Buildings in the 1960′s, early 1970′s. Since that time, Bill Ayers, like many more of the 1960′s Counter-Culture Communists, have attained positions of power and influence. Billary and Hillary Clinton are of the same mindset of communists, just like old Bill Ayers. And, Obama is also a product of this 1960′s Radicalism and he has spent his entire adult life studying and learning all about Subversion and Communism and the rest is history.

    HERE’S MORE…. on perception —-

    FROM: THE DAILY BELL

    EU TREASURY OVERKILL ?

Brussels plans ‘treasury’ for EU … Brussels is to push for the creation of a form of “treasury” for the European Union with powers to issue bonds and reinforce fiscal integration … “This will be a very effective tool to harmonise budget policies, but the way ahead may be very tough,” he said. Germany is likely to balk at talk of an EU debt union, or “Transferunion” as it is described in Gothic terms by Germany’s tabloid press.

Jean-Claude Trichet, the head of the European Central Bank (and Rothschild Operative), called for a “quantum leap in terms of surveillance” to ensure that the financial crisis is never repeated. Mr Trichet said it would be extremely difficult to change the Lisbon treaty in the current climate but called on EU leaders to “exploit all possibilities” in the sub-clauses of existing legislation to advance policing tools.

The EU institutions agreed last week on the creation of three super-regulators covering banking, markets, and insurance, each with powers to impose decisions by majority vote. This effectively deprives Britain of veto power over regulation of the City, although there is an “emergency break”.

The deal requires the assent of EU finance ministers next week. A spokesman for Chancellor George Osborne has already said the terms are “a very good outcome for the UK”. – UK Telegraph

Right off… my interpretation of this version for financial reality in Europe is in sticking with the NWO plan. While it is well considered that Britain “is” the home of financial global dominance, for the entire Planet, it is considered a wise tactical move to allow those outside the inner circle to think they have re-gained a modicom of control…. at least for a time.

Notice the phrase –> EU Leaders to “exploit all possibilities” in the sub-clauses of existing legislation

Remember – just like here inside our own Congress, almost ALL politicians in Europe are very aware of where the bread gets buttered.. so they WILL dance as they are told, by the Banking Cabal. One would have to have access into the Legislation that makes up the SUB-CLAUSES of existing Legislation. At the same time, will it ever be reported accurately if legislation does not exist, but will instantly be created, as a RIDER on some other nonsensical Bill before German or French or even British Law… which now translates to mean European Union Law.

Sense the GIANT boot on Europe’s neck?

I’m even starting to see Duetsche Bank commercials on CableTV / CNBC. Since when does a Bank in Germany need to advertize here in this Country, right under the nose of CitiBank, or CHASE? Remember, The Mayer Family (Rothschilds) started their Empire in Bavaria.

All one has to do is look up an item or two, and the pieces start to mold together.

How’s your perception of global financial reality now…..

    • Claire

Anthony– What is your opinion about the Koch brothers and the millions they have (and still are) contributed to the right wing? They have certainly had their share of convictions for environmental crimes, and are considered one of the worst polluters in the US. They do not want to be taxed, they want a free rein to do whatever they want. I am curious as to what your thoughts are.

      • JeffH

Claire, on Koch brothers: In the past 30 years, they’ve funneled more than $100 million into dozens of political organizations, many of which are trying to steer the country in a more libertarian direction. Among the organizations they’ve backed are the Cato Institute, a Washington think tank that has recently raised questions about climate change, and the Mercatus Center at George Mason University in Virginia.

On Aug. 26, Thursday’s Fresh Air, Jane Mayer joined Terry Gross for a conversation about the Kochs’ funding efforts, particularly what she describes as their broad and vigorous campaigns to manufacture grassroots political opinion. As she notes in the article, “the brothers have funded opposition campaigns against so many Obama administration policies — from health care reform to the economic-stimulus program — that, in political circles, their ideological network is known as the Kochtopus.”

        Claire -

I highly doubt any of the super-wealthy will do anything but abide by the status quo. As we know, REAL WEALTH is never gained legally. Bernie Madoff, the ENRON crowd, the Washington Elite, …it doesn’t matter. Seriously, back in the day, Hillary Clinton put down $10,000 on the Futures Market in Chicago and several days later, walked away with $100,000 in earnings, which she cashed in immediately. There was never any investigation for insider trading, nor any other review.

There are ways, to grab onto this money train, but for us local folks, it takes somewhat longer to gain millions on investments. Quite a bit longer. I would settle for $1-million, myself.

As I’ve told everyone who reads my postings here at Bob’s Site….
I do not invest much conversation into the Left/Right Paradigm. It is a false conversation designed to keep everyone bickering amongst themselves, while the fatcats rig the laws and run out the back door with all the loot.

I notice many people on here speaking on the Liberals/Republicans levels, and I tell you it is a complete waste of time for anyone to do so in any regard. If you cannot break yourself of the habit, you should at least make sure you are reading the topic from both angles …. http://www.realclearpolitics.com is a good site for doing just that.

These brothers? They only worry about the haves & have-nots, and whomever they may seem to have insider access to in Washington, just like Ken Lay had insider access to GW Bush, when he was elected (re-enforcing the ENRON ponzi scam).

I would just view them as what they are: Carpetbaggers.

      • Claire

Anthony–Thanks for the input. I will check the site out.

  • Conservative By Choice

hflash sounds like he is trusting the reports of the Wall street economist. I thought they were the evil ones the Republicans were in bed with.

  • Maryann

This Novemeber when we flip the house, and hopefully the senate, I would like to see a new law put into place, or a old law resurrected. Anyone found to be a communist/socialists/marxists, is to be arrested and deported out of the United States, and or put in prison if they tried to harm the United States while in office. Any Company found supporting or funding a communist and or socialist agenda, and knew they were doing that should have their assest confiscated, and autioned or sold off and used to pay back onto the debt. OR, given back to the employees, and make it a employee owned business to support and operate. Maybe the time has come to bring every last milatary soldier home, surround our borders, and take care of the whole U.S.A, and get her back on the right road to freedom.
I also say its time to reorganize the Unions, I still believe there is a place for unions, but I’m refering to the Unions of the past, when they were formed to protect the worker, and fight for clean and safe work conditions, and fight to stop work related abuse. However I’m not for going global and using my money that I pay into the unions to fund campaigns.
I suggest these things, because we are on the brink of collasps and because fast action and fast defunding will need to happen to stop those that are out to destroy the United States from within.
Hard choices will have to be made when it comes to cutting programs. but how about starting with the pork, that is bleeding the system and not the police or education, or fire departments.
And lets also add one more little law, how about a disclosure notice on every single news channel that states who owns them and through what companies, and what the owners, or ceo’s of those companies has paid towards what ever canidate they were willing to support. Its time to bring transparency to the media, because it was through the lack of coverage with the media, that has brought the U.S. on the brink of collasps.

  • Steve Dolyniuk

Flash: I believe you are really Obama, writing under an assumed name. You blame Bush & Republicans for everything, when in fact both parties are to blame. For years our idiots in congress have been slowly selling this country down the drain, & it has gotten progressively worse, because we the voters always voted for who we thought was the lesser of two evils. Then there are people who vote for Democrats only, & others who vote for Republicans only. The problem is the lack of term limits, allowing these crooks to stay in power forever, head up all the different committees, & dictate to all of the new members. This administration, however, is by far the worst ever!!!

Both parties are controlled by the money people (globalists) Rockefellers, Rothchilds etc…They have been creating wars and funding both sides for years as well as stealing our money through taxes in the federal reserve system. Untill people wake up and realize this, we are finished. They are practicing the divide and conquer tactic not only here but in Europe as well (illegal immigration) Alex Jones woke me up to all the fraud 7 years ago and now I see whats really happening way more clear, everyone….STOP VOTING ITS ALL RIGGED!!!!

  • Anthony

Folks, I work in the iT field…currently dealing with wireless implementation on a BIG PHARMA Campus. And, the one thing I’m seeing, is how even BIG PHARMA is working to re-create the “factory floor” approach to how it does business. All departmental managers are losing their private offices and being shoved out into the subordinate arena where all conversations are now getting done in whispers, over IP soft phones. It is my contention that our contractualwork will be done by the end of the year, and then who knows…
In the government sector, I’ve read several articles defining the amount of job loss in my career field, all throughout every Agency’s IT Group, almost all of it has been outsourced and in some cases it is handled thru remote access. People, I’m talking about hundreds of thousands of IT jobs. What’s more, this has been going on for almost two years, solid. I have no doubt even my observations are somewhat behind the real curve, as well.

YOU WILL FIND, MOVING FORWARD, A HOST OF NAYSAYERS. COUNT ON IT.

YOU WILL ALSO FIND THESE NAYSAYERS WILL NOT (CANNOT?) PROVIDE ANY EVIDENCE TO BACK UP THEIR COMMENTS, WHATSOEVER.

But, as Bob Livingston has pointed out many times, with proof to back it up…. All one need do is check with the independent financial advising firms around the Country. One of my favs, is StansberryResearch.com | Stansberry is not out there “naysaying” the damage going on by the ponzi scheme operators who have been positioned onto the President’s Cabinet in the last election. This is the height of the gambit by the Central Bank, who definitively needs the USA to collapse if NWO is to succeed.
We just saw one person go to jail for running a (huge?) scheme – his name is Bernie Madoff. And, prior to that, as I’m watching on CNBC, right now, we had ENRON… it’s ridiculous to watch all the manipulations that occurred. Just stepping back and looking at only the surface questions throughout the whole event and the questions that struck me the most and the attitudes of the investment corps, is how the Bankers, the Wall Street People, the Governmental Agencies, the Power Grid Managers…. at one point should have certainly said “NO” at one point, midway into the entire ENRON lifespan.

    THEY DID NOT….

This had to have been on orders or allowances from those who control the money supply to begin with. There is no other explanation. When a PRIVATE CORPORATION, who has complete control over a Country’s currency sees someone makeing billions off their backs and doesn’t quickly go about squashing these little bugs…????? Well, you know the designs inside designs has a larger purpose… a much much larger purpose. The lack of spock logic on the whole process was incredibly telling. The same goes for Bernie Madoff. Each time, it repositioned THE FED’s stance and committed their puppet politicians (dems mostly, but the right side is also compliant) as sniffing dogs on the hunt, for a complete news media hollywood script.

Almost all of the investment advisory firms are looking at ways to save their customers from losing on their purchases. Most are pushing customers to avoid using Wall Street if at all possible. Stansberry’s 12% Letter is dead on, with this approach. But, there are at least a dozen other Investment Counselors – independent in nature – that are speaking in similar terms.

THIS IS A CLAXXON WARNING.. that you should not ignore.
If you can reposition yourself .. should say if you HAVEN’T repositioned yourself……by now. You better get moving.

The problem with investing even without using Wall Street, I don’t know how large the damage will be. People’s Bank, Walmart, and many others are being hedged in large hope of weathering the coming storm. The damage will be enormous, that much I do see and I’m a novice at investing, if that. If it’s that obvious to me (?), it has to be of great concern for those that have made $1-million or more over the last decade or two.

Like many are warning … are you stocking up on food?
Are you paying ahead on your rent? Doing whatever you can to dump debt?

I would ask everyone – including this (new name for an old poster?) flashman character…..

“How do a people affect a private corporation who, by LAW, have no (none at all) responsibility to report their activities to …..anyone?” Explain to all of us, HOW THAT GETS DONE….

I really don’t care to hear any avoidance/decoy conversation, any misdirection… and certainly (do yourself a favor) any SOPHISTRY.

As most, who come here, know… The Progressives slid one past us over the Xmas Holiday in 1913, and for the last one hundred years, the GREATEST PONZI SCHEME ….ever… has been in play. Bernie Madoff? Ken Lay? Are you serious? Those guys are tadpoles in a giant frog pond compared to the crap handed to us by the Board of Directors on THE FEDERAL RESERVE.

WHAT’S REALLY RIDICULOUS is how buying stock in THE FED is only allowed for the family members of those who started THE FED in the first place. And, to think, it took only 3 votes, by congressional rule, to allow such a monstrosity to be created in the first place.

If it were allowed for regular folks to buy FED stock, we would all be wealthy to a certain extent. Still, that was never the plan by the Rotschild’s European World Bank Cabal.

As the end of the ENRON documentary is happening, they discuss how CitiBank and several of the other SIX main banks.. all bought up the ENRON scraps for a mere $20-billion dollars. That’s it… chicken feed.

Over 100 thousand people lost their jobs over ENRON and the oldest accounting firm in the Country, Andersen, fell right along with ENRON. Andersen had 29,000 employees, alone, and they all went jobless in the ENRON event. What about all of the local small utility companies all throughout (just) California? What about how they lost almost everything they had hopes of retiring on?

No guys… Bob Livingston has it right. The obvious part that he doesn’t drone on about.. is how the perception process is heavily controlled by the Media and how “we, the poeple” have allowed ourselves to become indoctrinated with this habit of running to the Telly, to then be told “what to think” and “when to think it”, along with “for how long” we are to think what they tell us and only what they tell us.

CAN YOU IMAGINE.. just how devastating it could all be if we didn’t have the Internet. Most here realize the stark difference in the news on CableTV versus what we can find from the actual source(s) online.

SAD PART? Is how, even now, almost half of this Country (alone) are still clueless on what’s really going on…. because they are too fearful in admitting how well they’ve been had.

All of us are on this coast-to-coast Titanic, and only some will survive. Question becomes, will you do it on your knees, or standing upright….

And, NO, flashman… the majority of Wall Street Investment Firms are not out there saying a RECOVERY is in progress…. Only those directly related to THE FED, are saying such nonsense.

Everyone else is discussing the “other shoe” is about to drop.

THAT’s the truth of it. Knowing when, is the trick.

And, even the so-called Fair and Balanced Fox Network join right in with the Latest Hollywood Scandal or Gossip of some sort.

The scare tactics (remember the atomic mushroom behind the child playing in the daffodils?)fooled even my very conservative parents. In my view, that was the turning point. Even President Reagan could not turn the tide on a lasting basis.

The Socialist mantra has always been :”Little by little, bit by bit, piece by piece” and that is how they are turning our REPUBLIC into a socialist nation. Beware that phrase. It has been used since the 1920′s and I was appalled when President Clinton told Hillary not to worry that her healthcare bill did not make muster. “Little by little, bit by bit, piece” is what he said.

Are you against all these socialized institutions? What would you put into their places?

Of course if you did cut them all out, it would save a great deal of money that could go to pay for wars without end to be won for Major Corporate profits.

    • Greyhawk

Ditto Cuffie. Nikita Kruschev boasted in 1960, “We, the Communists, will destroy you (The United States) without firing a shot.” Kruschev knew what he was talking about. Kruschev alredy knew that we had many communists in the USA and most were in government and Hollywood.

When JFK was assassinated, that was a coup de etat. The LBJ gang took over the government and Communism Kicked Into Overdrive. The wholesale Nanny State was turned loose and forced on the entire country.

The so-called Great Society Programs, the take over of public schools, and all the rest of the Government Enforcment of Federal Control over Local and State Governments was the beginning of massive social engineering, much of it being done at gunpoint, that has brought us to the brink of destruction as a free and sovereign citizenry and as a free and sovereign nation.

In a mere 50 years, we have gone from being a prosperous nation of manufacturers, industrial giants, and a blooming middle class and a producer nation to a Consumer Nation and most jobs now are in service industries and not manufacturing. During this same time, our public education system which in 1966 was one of the best in the world at number 3 in the world and was totally under local control, now stands at number 28 in the world. During this same period of time, families have been destroyed as have family values which includes a work ethic. In 1966, over 90 percent of all poor and working class kids lived with 2 parents where one or both parents worked, and today, ove 90 percent of poor and working class kids live with one parent and that parent usually does not work, but is on welfare. We have several generations of kids who graduated high school and are still functionally illiterate and ignorant because the schools have become dumbing down and brainwashing institutions and the Federal Government Mandates That They Attend These Schools. Mandatory attendance but not Mandatory Education.

There is a Direct Correlation between Federal Government Interventions and the Demise of the Nation. This my friends is what Kruschev was talking about. The Communists Now Run Our Government and All of it’s Alphabet Soup Agencies, Bureaus, Commissions and Departments which control any and all activities in the private and public sector. And, of course, the government has to continue to come up with Creative Ways to Extract Our Hard Earned Money in Taxes, Fees, Regulatory Fees, User Fees, etc. as this Government Monster Squanders Trillions of Dollars and has an Insatiable Appetite for Growth in Size, Power and Expenditures.

If we were ever to be serious about turning this Communist Train Wreck around, it will Require the Abolishment of Many U.S. Government, State and Local Government Bureuacracies. And, all these Government Bureaucracies have Become Their Own Self-Perpetuating Empires, and like all Empires, they seek Growth in Size and Power, and like all Empires, they become Despotic, and like all Despots, they never Willingly Give Up Their Power.

Any politician who is not serious talking about Abolishing Government Agencies, Bureaus, Commissions, Departments, Czars, etc. is not serious at all. It is through this Government Bureaucracy that we now have surpassed the old USSR in the level of Centralized Government Control with a Federal Bureaucracy That Does Great Harm to the Nation, while not doing One Worthwhile Thing at all. Our Federal Bureaucracy makes the old USSR look like City Council in comparison to the Federal Government we now have. It is huge, bloated, out of control, and unless this Bloated Federal Government Is not Down Sized to about one fourth the size it now is, we are lost as a nation.

The government beast is insatiable in it’s appetite for power, control and spending. What we now have is a Fascistic Totalitarian Government which has been built by The Communists Within that Kruschev Boasted About a mere 50 years ago, and the rest is history. And, it all kicked into high gear when our enemies within assassinated JFK and installed their Puppet LBJ to begin the Communist Takeover. In order to do this, they had to totally Take Power from Local And State Governments and Begin the Consolidation of The Central Authority, the U.S. Government itself.

And, if you doubt this, look around. How much power is in the Local And State Government’s control? Look at the Obama administration’s Bashing of Arizona because they Dare Challenge the Authority of the U.S. Government. And, look, Obama has now Taken Arizona Before The World Central Authority of the Communist World, the United Nations.

Wake up America, we are no longer this Constitutional Republic that we talk about. We have been Overtaken by the Communists, but nobody has told you yet. Several Generations have been so dumbed down and brainwashed on purpose by the Federally Controlled Public Schools, and various other U.S. Government bureaucracies, and by TV, Hollywood and the So-Called Entertainment industry, that they have no clue what I am talking about and they believe the lies that they now have as their Realities, and that is why The Propagandists who supply us with the Daily News and Teleprompted Propaganda Speeches from Dear Leader Obama know how they will be Perceived. Perceptions are everything, and if your Realities are All Based On Lies and Propaganda that you believe To Be True and Factual, your perceptions are likewise flawed.

I remember reading the “Naked Communist” written in the 50′s. It stated 50 points of how Communism would take over the USA. I was honest enough with myself to realize that by 1975 when I read the book, everyone of the 50 points had already taken place. Folks our HOPE, is not to be found in any Nation, or Party, or Group, or even in any Church affiliation. Yet we must not give up or give in, and move forward with the Hope that abides in us!

      • Bill31

Greyhawk…you hit the nail on the head. Our Government and the mentality that runs it will never be content with its size, power or reach, Although I am not sure of your initial precept that the movement is an outright Communist front, rather bumbling, ill informed mediocrity we have all come to accept both in education, politics and business. I think George Washington says it best: My observation is that whenever one person is found adequate to the discharge of a duty… it is worse executed by two persons, and scarcely done at all if three or more are employed therein. It seems that God and Common Sense left many the citizenry behind!

********************** If our society would pay attention of ethics and good conduct instead of Sex or who’s got what and if people were taking responsibilities for their actions and finances America wouldn’t be in this mess,
Politicians are responsible for a lot of what’s wrong with this country but if people would quit voting for known crooks just because they promise them more material things and begin to pay attention to those same politicians moral values and hold them accountable things wouls start to change for real and for the better,

    • Carole Howell

We do not believe in holding them accountable, they are above the law. In such cases where it is proven they broke laws, our democratically elected presidents, even though before getting elected say they will see that the laws will be enforced, after they are elected do a complete about face and say ‘well we need to look forward not back’

When ever the laws are applied to some and not all, you have no laws at all. And the Criminals are left free to break the laws over and over.

Remember Clark Clifford, he was actually indicted and convicted, but he received a slap on the wrist, because….well….you know he was old and in delicate health, he would die in prison.

Think any of us would be let off for this reason if we stole millions?

Then look at Iran/Contra, trading with terrorists, selling U S weapons
to our enemies. Breaking our laws, International laws.

The only way to keep criminals out of government (or making it harder for them to get in) is publicly financed elections.

Then still we have to watch the MSM and who they character assassinate, and elect them into office. In stead of the people who get positive press LOL.

Creation of the Nanny State: Local, State and Federal.

I was reading a Shelby County, Alabama news article the other day, and they had a lead story about how the Good Old Meddling City Council in Pelham, Albama was going to start a complete smoking ban in their fair little city in all places of business, government, or otherwise. This sort of Nanny Statism is happening all over the USA while the entire country is going to hell in a handbasket mostly because of the Nanny State Mentality Gone Mad, especially in Washington DC, the Great, Great, Great, Great, Great Grand Mother of all Nanny States.

The Nanny State has no limits or boundaries. When did we become a nation that elects a handful of city council members, a county commission, state legislators and U.S. legislators who get into power and decide they, a handful of people, can force their own little pet peeve laws on everybody else.

City councils, county commissions, state and federal legislators need to stick to Responsible Representative Government and Enforcement of Real Criminal Activities and stop Making Nuisance Laws that Turn Everyday Citizens into Criminals Because they Violate some useless ordinance such as a Smoking Ban.

If I own a business and want to allow smoking, that is my business. If customers choose not to come to my establishment because I allow smoking, they are free to go some place else. What ever happened to freedom of choice.

Why do we allow a hand full of Nanny State Meddlers like a city council and mayor to dictate what we can and cannot do, and at the same time, They Do Nothing About Enforcing Laws About Criminal Illegal Invaders who live all around the community. Or to prosecute those who Hire The Illegals, or To Prosecute those Who Rent and Sell Property To The Illegal Invaders or To Do Banking With The Illegal Invaders or Allow Illegal Invaders to Start and Run Businesses and Pay No Taxes.

We need Representative Governments That Enforce Existing Criminal Laws that really impact the citizens, and no More Nanny State Laws such as Smoking Bans, or the Federal Congress Regulating Major League Baseball while Refusing To Enforce Federal Criminal Laws against Illegal Invasions, etc.

This Smoking Ban Nanny State Law being proposed is just the Tip of The Iceberg. When are they going to go the way of San Francisco, California where they are now Regulating Smoking In Your Own Homes. Wake Up Shelby County and Wake Up America. The Nanny State Is Coming After You.

    • CONSERVATIVE AT BIRTH

The only way a Representative Government works is, if the citizenry is inolved at all levels. The American Citizen has been asleep for 100 years. Are they finally waking up? We will see how many have awakened in November. If every citizen would call, write, and e-mail there elected representatives on a consistent basis, they might change their tune. Look what happened to the Illegal Imigrant Amnesty bill a few years ago. Unfortunately, I am pesimistic. I fear the only hope now is prayer and excerizing our Second Amendment Rights.

      Greyhawk,

Thank you for an excellent, and well thought out and written post.

Of course what you say makes absolute sense to freedom loving Americans. The LEFT, with the aid of the so-called RIGHT is very adept at taking away freedoms in small increments, so as not to get the citizenry too riled; we still have the 2nd Amendment; the only thing currently preventing them from taking total control of our lives.

    • Carole Howell

      Greyhawk,

      • http://?? Joe H.

        blv54,
I quit 10 years ago and I’m not as big a hypocrite as some of the progressives here. I had alittlebit of a time quitting but I did and my wife still smokes without any problems from me! She respects me enough not to smoke in our house but I didn’t ask it of her, it was her decision! The true hypocrites are the ones that used to purposely walk up to a table in the smoking area and when someone lit up they would say do you mind? That smoke is slowly killing me ! Even though there were about 10 open tables in the no-smoking area! When I still smoked, I used to look at them, slowly exhale my smoke in their direction, and say,” Theres plenty of room outside!!! Usually didn’t have any trouble after that!

      1. I don’t have to tell myself it’s all Bush’s fault. It isn’t. It began with the president I had fervently wished would never be beaten as the worst in our history…up to Bush II, the one most responsible for attacking our nation, our freedoms, our liberties…Reagan. And it culminated in the disaster of Bush/Cheney and the neo cons.

It’s going to take a long hard pull to recover. 18 months as an expectation to undo the destruction wrought by Bush etc is unrealistic. And the choices given as any alternative? More of what brought us to our knees.

      • http://none cbc

I read most of the comments in this “blog” with disdain and disgust because the entire theme is without foundation. Your comments about gays and those that accept them as being blind indicate your absolute resistance to listening, your bigotry to all things not white or heterosexual, and your inability to reason. How this “Personal Liberty Digest” got started I do not know, nor care, but the topics are out of date, most of the statements are total lies (illegal immigrants do not collect social security), use incorrect terms (it is illegal immigrants” not “illegal aliens), and its conspirator theme (the Rothschilds and Morgans..how quaint) are anti-American in the extreme. You have lost total sight of what this country stands for individual liberty and justice for all.

      • libertytrain

I’m not interested in agreeing or disagreeing with most of what you say but I take issue with illegal aliens. Illegal aliens was always acceptable and is the normal/usual terminology, however, in recent months the new words being pushed as politically correct are illegal immigrants. It’s just a case of softening the term so it doesn’t seem quite as illegal or as difficult a situation as it really has become.

      • libertytrain

Not sure about SS and illegals – May 18, 2006 The Washington Times had an article about this very thing but of course, they could be wrong:
        Illegals granted Social Security

        Thursday, May 18, 2006

The Senate voted yesterday to allow illegal aliens to collect Social Security benefits based on past illegal employment — even if the job was obtained through forged or stolen documents.

Not that I would be suspicious or anything, but with the economic technical indicators show the largest job creation coming out of a recession in the past 50 years…(which shows just how screwed we were by the corupt and graft riddled Bush and the GOP), manufacturing base in industry stablizing and growing with modernized equipment, credit beginning to be loosened, and by every account of any economist and also Wall Street analysis the Stimulus is working. OK…I’d want to hawk gold now as the price is high. I’d do my best to fertilize the fear and the ignorance which the masses are prone to.

Yes…Id say the article is telling…and the question we should ask is who is the propagandist here?

    • Anthony

      THIS…. is a completely mis-informed post.

Question: Are you working for ENRON?

      • hflashman

What’s ‘misinformed”? It’s all fact. By all accounts of every major reputable economist, by almost every Wall Street analysis, by every economic technical indicator….we’re in the beginnings of having a solid, though not robust, recovery.

Were we are hurting is housing and job cration over the job losses. Taking an independent look at where we were in 2008 and how we were lashed by the elite and Big Corporate America in socializing their losses while allowing them privatized gains, we stopped the hemoraging. We stood, literally and figuratively, on the brink of another Depression. We now stand at decisions of what shape this recovery will take on.

Yet we also have a minority of people who scream at anything their Masters tell them is bad, shaping and slapping a label of “liberal” or “Progressive’ on it. Who will say ‘no” to any suggestion for imporvement, who will ignore the conseqences of what they spout as “policy”, and who will take any stance however bi polar from what they say they want…as long as they do the bidding of what their Masters tell them.

They are driven by fear, cowardice, hate, and ignorance…they are easily manipulated by an entrenched power base which cares not for them but only to use them for short term political and economic gain.

And if you think I am talking about you as you read this … then I am.

Facts..pesky things which stands in the way of a good rant. Which is why Conservatives don’t like or use them.

      • Greyhawk

Now, I get it Flash. Makes perfect sense to me. If Bush left us with a 400 billion deficit, let’s create a two trillion dollar deficit. That makes perfect sense to me.

If we spend a trillion dollars on a ten year war, makes perfect sense to spend that much on a so-called stimulus bill in one fell swoop of the president’s pen, and use the money to Pay Back ACORN, SEIU, and other nefarious, subversive and criminal organizations for helping Rig The Votes in 2008 with Bogus Voter Registrations and to Arm New Black Panthers with those pretty black suits, batons, berets and billy clubs to patrol and intimidate voters. And, with the 500 billion or so left over from the 1.3 trillion dollar Slush Fund for Democrats, use it to buy More Voters by bailing Out Socialist States such as California that is perpetually in debt by hundreds of billions as a direct result of their Nanny State Fascism. Bail out Teacher Unions, Take Over Car Companies, Take Over Banks, Extend Unemployment to two and one half years as a way of creating more government dependents, etc.

Yes, let’s continue to Get out of Debt by Increasing The Debt by Trillions, while at the same time, Blame Bush and Republicans for their reckless spending. Makes perfect sense to anybody who is a Complete Idiot, and obviously Flash, you are either one of the Idiot Liberal Democrat Koolaid Drinkers or You know what is going on and are intentionally lying in an attempt to mislead folks, the same way that the Lib Dems do when they Parade Dear President Obama onto the Teleprompter Stage every week or so to Read From This Teleprompter the Latest Propaganda and Lies that they Use to Mis Lead and Mis-Guide the Citizenry.

      • HFlashman

Almost too funny, but in reality sad. You do realize do you not, that most of the deficit spending we have today is from the 2009 budget…the final Bush budget?

As far as your naming organzations allegedly financed by favored funding …you parrot the mealy mouthed lies fostered by the Right.

        Jeesh….

As for economics and where I garnered my stats..Bloomberg.com and various publications denoting various financial data (I tend to look at data, not rely entirely what people tell me what it states)

      • American Citizen

That’s exactly what Bob’s blog is saying. HFlash in the pan can’t be more wrong in his posts. I don’t know from where he get his statistics, but almost every family in this country can tell you he couldn’t be more wrong.

      • http://charter howe

I have to agree with your assesment Greyhawk, however trying to convince an Obama lover or someone who prays to the entitlement God rather than work for a freakin living is going to attack the conservative democrats and republicans regardless of whether the ideology drives us off a cliff, which is happening as we speak. The HFlashmans of the world is why we have to band together and vote these do nothing Congress people out of office and I mean on both sides of the Isle. The only way to render Pelosi inefective is to vote out all the democrats who support her radical agenda which is in lockstep with the Master-of-deceit Obama. The key to nuetralizing Obama is to render Reid and Pelosi ineffective and give conservative republicans a chance to stop this horrendous taxing and spending and war against the small business people. This can only be done by voting for aa Republican majority in Nov 2010 and again in 2012. Now mind you, some of the Republican incumbents have to go, but the priority in Nov 2010 is to take control of the House and Senate to force Obama to work in a bipartisan way to pass meaningful legislation. Remember he still has veto power and 36 CZARS to circument Congress but at least he will be unable to flush our Constitution down the proverbial toilet since Congress controls the funding purse strings on all govt spending except for the slush fund left from the trillion dollar stimulus. These fools who keep blaming Bush and others for the current destruction of our economy don’t have an argument when you talk about a worthless OBAMACARE trillion dollar bill that is killing job creation, a miserably failed Obama created trillion dollar stimulus bill and the enormous amount of govt healthcare, environmental and financial regulation which has expanded govt offices by almost 200 separate offices to manage all this and they are hiring govt employees to fill these position which is costing a staggering amount of taxpayer dollars. Ther are 159 govt offices being created to manage and regulate OBAMACARE alone. The idiots who blog about how wonderful things are going with Obama, Reid and Pelosi need to get their head out or at the very least clean off their belly buttons so they can see where they are going when they have their head up their ass. I spent 29 tough years in the military and my hope and prayer was that someday my children and grandchildren could enjoy their freedoms in the greatest country on Earth. President Obama, Spkr Pelosi and Sen Reid are creating a massive climate of devisiveness and unprecedented radicalism, which will threaten the American dream for those that are reponsible and work hard for it. Our nation became great and prospered because we have always used free market principles and smaller govt. Now we have govt expanding so huge that the revenue to support it is higher than the free market can bear and we have 60% of our country in the firm hands of govt which is being controlled by a majority party of democratic liberals in the House, the Senate and the Whitehouse. These petty arguments by the ignorant and mentally challenged are not worth the time to engage in. Job ONE should be to closely vet these candidates and vote in November. These whiners, name callers and people who continually state that IT BE BUSH’S fault will go away when we vote for candidates that will work for WE THE PEOPLE.

Anyway, Good Lord Flash, where in the heck, do you get your info? What books and newspapers and T.V. Stations are you watching? You have got to be, the most mis-informed idiot I have ever seen on a site. God help you.

Everytime we get into a good discussion about real issues, flash and/or one of his cohorts pipes in to turn in back into a right/left bashing forum.

Kind of makes one think that is his purpose.

      • http://?? Joe H.

        RussG,
We ARE in a recovery!!(wink, wink) My daughters boyfriend got laid off last year and just got a job this week. Part time in a gas station!!! Wow, what a recovery we are in!!! Laid off from a job making 10.50 an hour to minimum wage, part time!!! What a recovery!!!

      • http://gunner689 gunner689

The main reason the economy is slow is this wack-job in the White House and his lackeys in Congress. No one really knows what’s coming down the pike and is afraid to expand or hire new emloyees; only to have the gvt. bankrupt you with new taxes and regulations. I am part owner of a small developmental oil company. I have always used independent contractors to do the work. Previously I managed a larger company with 70 plus employees and remember the nightmares well enough. We are now in a position where we may have to hire some individuals or just keep subing out the work. With workmans comp., health insurance, social security, unemployment ins., OSHA, and a dozen other taxes and regs. I will probably opt to keep outsourcing. We paid enough in income tax alone last year to have employeed at least 5 people. And now the tax rates are going up higher. I’ve busted my ass all my life to make a good income for my family only to have 1/2 of it go out the door in taxes.

Another thought is to make mandatory to schools to teach courses based on “Think and Grow Rich”, “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”, and “How to Win Friends and Influence Enemies”.

      • Bill

Ok, here we go. There are a few things I’ve noticed and thought about through the years that seem to be rarely mentioned. As a rule, the Democrats continually run of two false premises. Life is not fair and they’re going to make it fair. Fair is a matter of preception and/or interpretation. This generally takes the form of demonizing someone other than themselves. The other false premise is that they’re going to eliminate poverty. Pretty much no one notices that this cannot be done. All economic systems are relative systems. The value of anything is directly related to the number of people who can’t afford it. When you raise the minimum wage you make it so that more people at the bottom cannot afford a loaf of bread because you increase the cost of the wages to produce it.

In addition, politicians have no interest in solving problems. If they actually solved problems, why would we need them. Solving problems threatens their survival. The Republicans don’t solve anything when they’re in office and continue to give the Democrats platforms to run on. It’s a shell game and we’re all at the carnival. The most intelligent bumper sticker I ever saw said “Don’t re-elect anyone!” Is this rocket science? How long is it going to be before the masses realize that “they’ve ALL been lying to us!”?

      • kate8

Bill, Way to go. You are spot on.

      • catholiccowboy

Man…. some people work hard to build walls of false reality’s around them so they never have to feel the pain of being wrong. I tell sure as you read this some day you will wake up and I only pray that there is something left inside you to save when it happens. The collaps of the economy was started by a group of insane terrorist that need to strike this country inorder for the collaps occur. Ever since the 9-11 planes hit the trade center we have been in a downward cycle. If the idea of war wasn’t enough to put the brakes on our ecenomy then how about the billions spent fighting it, and now we have a president who bends over backwards to accomidate our enemy’s. Even spending millions to relocate the poor people in the Gaza strip who only live to see the destuction of Isreal…but thats another topic of discussion. The blame game has gotten old and nolonger applies to this recession/depression. The moves we take from here on out will make or brake this country. Conservitive values and personal responsibility is the only way to fix it. And when the time comes for us to put straight all the irresponsible decision of this administration …look out. Cutting back on spending will create a backdraft that will cause a revolution for sure, and they know it. It is the reason they continue to spend and spend, which by the way they can do because of the capitalist driven economy, that has created wealth that this administration has sqaundard so foolishly.

      • Carole Howell

        Bob,
Blaming again, what? you never noticed Reagan breaking campaign, promises, Bush No 1? and 2? Only dems do?, you live on another planet?

Ever notice how Conservatives run on the idea of smaller gov, yadda yadda yadda? Yet when they get in they every single time, check it out, they grow government and increase the debt, w/o fail, every single time. Do you remember how Bush expanded government. What does Conservative mean to you? Did you get it from either of the Bushes? Did you get it from Ronny? Reagan ran for Pres, saying the National debt was so high this country was smothering under it and could not survive, remember????? And he would reduce it. What a surprise? No cause while he was governor of California, he bankrupted the state and over ran the state with illegals, the illegal explosion in this country started with him as did the homeless people sleeping on the streets. What do you people pick and choose your memories?

Then he got into office and spent more than all the presidents that went before him starting with Washington put together. During peace time folks. Economists were saying the debt was a threat to our national security, then Bush Sr. comes in, does he reduce the debt, no he increases it even more.

I remember Clinton promised to reduce the debt by half, I snickered, he was not my choice. He came into office reduced the government more than any pres. since Truman and reduced the debt by 3/4 more than half. We had a surplus, remember?

Now do you all remember what happened to the debt and the surplus during the last Bush?

Any only excuses you make for Bush Jr. would also apply to Obama today.

Think people, think. It is not a party problem, it is a corruption problem.

      • JeffH

Carole Howell, you’re a victim of your own “blame” game.

      • http://?? Joe H.

        Carole,
you say Reagan bankrupted the state?? The freedom foundation states that had California limited spending to that of inflation since 1990, they would have a 158 billion surplus!!! doesn’t sound to me like Reagan bankrupted anything!!! Oh, and before you start, the Freedom foundation is a non-partisan think tank!!!

      • Granny Mae

        Carol
Clinton reduced our expenditures alright. He dismanteld our military to do it. Now instead of an army we have the National Guard over seas ! Clinton is responsible for putting our national security at risk!. He was not the saint you think he was. They have all had their faults.

      • Bob

    • jim

Life is wonderful with rose colored glasses and od on kool aid.

    • Grey Wolf

Hey Flash: As someone who has studied economics for over forty years, I have no idea where you came up with this information about an economic recovery. Would you please state your sources, statistics, etc. so I can verify that you’re telling the truth & not pulling this out of your butt. Also, I’m having trouble actually trying to ascertain what you’re trying to say. The syntax of your composition is hard to comprehend for me, at least. You also need help with your spelling, too! It’s obvious you did understand the crux of the article. There really is no difference between the two political parties. They are both controlled by the same interests. Didn’t Obama-Soetoro just recently vacation at Martha’s Vineyard with the wealthy elitists whom he is suppose to despise? And Wall Street is actually more at home with the Democrats than the Republicans.
If you had studied economics, you’d realize that the price of gold is a real indicator of economic health. As an economy slides further into depression, the price in most cases will continue to rise.
As far as our manufacturing base, it continues to disappear. Here in Ohio, we have lost over 40,000+ jobs in that sector alone since the late 1990′s. There is no evidence that Obama-Soetoro’s stimulus is working. As a matter of fact billions of dollars are still unaccounted for & some of that money has ended up in foreign countries. You speak of easy credit. Most banks & credit unions are tightening up & making it very difficult to get auto loans & even credit cards now.
As far as fear is concerned, there is nothing wrong with this emotional state & I’m sure you’ve experienced it many times. It has kept many a person alive. Fear of failure often transforms one into success. Fear is why we watch what we eat, don’t smoke, then put smoke detectors in our house, drive within the speed limit or even buy gold!
I think you really need to be re-educated because it seems to me that your another product of the public school system. First, get me all those facts & figures you presented to backup that rosy economic forecast. Second, reread the article, then re-write your blurb so I can make sense out of it. Also, define for me what you mean by the “masses”. Just curious.

      • GaryTraditionalUltraConservative

Grey Wolf, you are absolutely correct. Only loosers, defeatists and cowards give up, surrender and go belly up. As U.S. American Citizens we must never give up and we must always keep trying and we must always keep struggling and fighting for everything that is morally good, decent and wholesome for our nation and for all of our U.S. American Citizens. Actually our American Revolutionary War did not end on September 3, 1783 and has never ended and should never come to an end. Our American Revolutionary War has always been a continuous and a never ending and an on going struggle, battle and fight against Tyranny and Evil since July 4th, 1776 or before that since April 19, 1775 and our American Revolutionary War will never end, because if our American Revolutionary War does come to an ultimate end at any time, then that means that we as U.S. American Citizens have voluntarily defeated and failed ourselves and that we have voluntarily defeated and failed future generations of yet to be born U.S. American Citizens. Ultimate defeat and ultimate failure is not an option. Defeat is the Mother of Victory. Failure is the Mother of Success!

      • http://?? Joe H.

        Grey wolf,
I can attest to what you say! Northeast Ohio has lost steel mills, auto manufacturing plants, tow motor mmanufacturing plants, Fastener manufacturers, all sorts of manufacturing jobs, and they ARE lost jobs!!! cleveland is looking like a ghost town anymore!!! An aufull lot of empty buildings!!!

flashman, I think I know what will work. Tell the EPA to go and take a hike, then stipe them of the petty regulations that Congress gave them. Our industries cannot adhere to all this petty crap that they have to put up with which cost them an arm and a leg. Lower the corporate tax rate on our industry, encourage them to come back to our country. Let them be able to make money in this country and they will be back and give you, and others a job. I have alway believed that three things were responible for the jobs leaving America, that is too much government regulations. They are over taxed and the result of the corrupt unions. Unions started out honorable, and for good reasons, but they got to the point of demanding too much from the employer, and they protected the lazy ones from being fires who would not do their job.

Except for the hawking gold part, I found the article to be mostly true. yes, we do need to watch for those manipulations.

      • Al Sieber

Carole, what should Bob be hawking? “hot dogs”?, if you think you really knew what’s going on ,you’d know gold always holds it value over paper etc. gold has held it’s value over 3000 years and someone has to sell it. I do in small lots, Ron Paul believes in it, do you? so whats wrong with Bob Livingston selling it?

      • http://?? Joe H.

Joe H, I agree with you on that one. fiat currency has always failed.

      • http://?? Joe H.

        Al,
They all say gold is worthless, yet they won’t trade 500 federal reserve one dollar notes for just ONE OUNCE!!! Guess it isn’t as worthless as they say it is~!!!

  • dan az

The problem that I have with that jeff is that I think the votes are rigged and their going to get who ever they want in.The plan is in motion and it seems all we can do is watch.I find it hard to believe that there are still people out there that have no clue to what is really going on.It looks as if there may only be one choice left and its not a passive one!We can not except the way things are going and expect it to last much longer. Come November if it dosent pan out then its on!

    • JeffH

It’s not so much that the votes are rigged, it’s the candidates that are rigged. The long term incumbents are lackies, bought and paid for. I hope for real change, but it’s going to take some real new blood like the “Chris Christie” types to make any serious differences with our political system.

      • TIME

Jeff, Again great points, its obvious to anyone who opens their eyes, but thats the gig to really OPEN the EYES not just post it.

As you may recall back in the late 1970′s the media started in with this quote; “Americans will forget within a few weeks.”

Now with all the mind games on the telie, the avereage person gets more brainwashing in fewer hours that when radio was the main format by 1 BILLION FOLD, a fellow I work with in the media said the new mantra is; “Americans will FORGET within minutes.”

Let alone when one goes to a mall or reads a magazine, etc. or the face page of MSN, most people know more about what Lindsy Lohand is doing then whats going on with anything in the world. Thats also displayed daily right here by the “NEO quasi liberals” who are so brain dead with the rotten mass of brain cells it smells over the computer after you read their mindless post.

Welcome to the {“Summer of JOB Recovery.”} May 2010 Jobs lost, 62,900
June Jobs lost 54,000 July Jobs lost 56,000, August Jobs lost 51,900.
And thats a recovery, it makes one think whats a down turn.
True Unemployed numbers are around 21.6%.

Jobs, what jobs we have ZERO industry left, The American Icon Gibson Guitars is on the mat, and taking thier last breaths.

So hows that Job hunt working out for any of you? Still have that Hopie Changie thing going on?

      • hflashman

Look up a statistic. How many jobs in eight years did Bush create? Overall, add the losses to the creations…what’s the number?

BTW…what you spout is not job losses…but the increase in unemployed. BIG difference.

As well…you should be hnest enough acknowledging that the loss of the industrial base cannot occur in a mere 18 months. It began in the middle of Bush’s term…kept hidden by the fakery of manipulating the M3 as well as the artificial boost garnered by his wars. Meanwhile, leading by fear….the GOP sold us out. All you have to do is look at who is not hurt in this economic collapse…why….it’s the fat cats who were targeted by government policy during the years of GOP rule. Wow….what a coincidence eh?

Just the same old play on words. Job loss in job loss no matter how you word it. IE Its not a tax increase its revenue enhancement.

      • American Citizen

The only jobs government can create are government jobs. They are looking at hiring 16,000 more IRS agents when/if Obamacare begins. All the government can do is lower taxes and let the private sector increase the job market. You don’t have to be a member of MENSA to figure that out.

      • Bruce D.

Actually you are wrong on that hflashman. It is Clinton who brought in NAFTA and GATT which destroyed the manufacturing base. I called my congressman man in Florida (Alcee Hastings) to try to stop it. He said he would vote against it then when it came time to vote he said it was in the best interest of black people to support it (which was a lie) and voted it. Also Clinton persuaded Doc Meyers to vote for it by promising Florida tomatoes growers and farmers would
have an exemption. Clinton basically bribed people to vote for the destruction of the manufacturing base as Obama bribed people to pass health care. I backed Pat Buchannan for president (who came out strongly against it) but he did not get to far.

      • Ruby

Flash: did you read Time and JeffH’s ENTIRE post to capture the overarching message? And all you can focus on is what TIME posted on jobs lost vs those who first became unemployed. We know there’s a difference. The job isn’t really lost…someone has to now perform those duties in the form of attrition. In that respect, you’re correct.

Do you write or call EVERY TV station, radio station, TV/radio personality to tell them you don’t care for the way they’re reporting “jobs lost”. You should, you know. That’s exactly how they report it…so stop the childishness already.

What’s the overarching message: it’s not the GOP, DEMS, Bush, Obama, Clinton, or other presidents in recent history. It’s the Rothchilds and Bildeberg types. The uber rich like Soros.

Wake up and smell the java, dude.

hflashman, Obama is only kicking the can down the road further. He is not doing a thing to change the course of direction. You are right on one point. This has been happening for several years now. I think the main reason for that is we are getting to many hippies from the 60′s running for office on both side of the isle. Decent people don’t want to be in Congress because of all the the crooks that are there. A crook will follow the free money trail. Another thing, a lot of the Communist and Socialist who could never make it into a political office if they ran that way are now disquising themselvs as Democrats to make it to Congress. Then can do they dirty deeds against society that most good American People do not want. I believe this is the reason to clean house on both side of the isle and maybe we can get a few good men from the new group. After voting our representatives in office we have to watch what they do to see if they represent the country in our best interest, if they don’t, kick them out and vote in new ones. This is the only way that we will ever get this country started in the right direction again. My biggest concern again Muslim Obama is this: #1-He jammed a health care on us which most people did not want, #2-he wants to pass a “Cap & Trade” bill which will drastically raise our electric bill and increase everything you buy, lastly he does not have any use for the Christians in this country due to his Muslim belief. If you are one of the people who cannot see what is happening to this country, then you are not paying any attention, and you are part of the problem. I could go on and on, but I know your eyes are still closed so I will turn over the reins to some one else. All I am asking is just watch what Obama is doing, not what he is saying.

yes this started in the middle of the bush term when polosi and reid took over congress

Kind of missed the point didn’t you flashman? (again) You want to argue left and right and the point is…there is no point in arguing left and right. It’s all the same circus. What we’re trying to do here is throw out the worst of both elements and keep or reinvent the best…as “American” once again.
And we need to start with the Kenyan UN tool in the White House and all of his anti-American Czars.

      • JeffH

flash is only another contributor to the propaganda controlled by the globalists, a lackey in his/her own right. He/she leaves the impression that it’s all about Bush. That is just his/her game unless, of course, he/she really is that limited.

      • Claire

First of all, I do not drink kool-aid, smoke pot, or do drugs. I am better than that. Secondly, I do not have much respect for any politician that is running for office at this time. I want to vote just like any other fellow American, but I will not vote for any of the politicians that are seeking election in November. I despise voting for “the lesser of two evils.” The GOP and the Democrats are going to have to come up with some decent, honest, candidates. Criminals?? Corruption?? Let get down to the nitty gritty—-those words could be applied to both parties.

      • Calvin

Dude you gotta realize that Democrats and Repubblicans are a 2 headed snake. One cannot survive without the other. They are like Linda McMahon wrestlers…fierce opponents in the public eye, but in the dressing room, they are the best of friends. Wake up and stop Bush Bashing and Clinton Chastising…they both are corrupt and are the problem. The DNC and RNC are too powerfule within our political system…they must be purged!!

      • DaveH

Where did you ever get the idea that Government creates real jobs, Flashman? Government takes from the creators of jobs, and inhibits their productivity, that is all. And I say the whole mess started with FDR. So what? What difference does it make where it started? We just need to get together and get our Freedom back.
If you want to get a clue about Government, you can do an experiment at the local level. Give a kid $20 and see what he does with it. He will buy some junky toy with eye appeal (or worse) that will be broken in a short time. Pay another kid $20 to do some meaningful labor for you and observe what he does with it. He will spend that money much more wisely than did the kid that did nothing for his money. That is Government. They take what they didn’t earn and waste it (often to buy votes for themselves).

      • JeffH

Claire, I think that comment was meant for flash in the pan.

      • Claire

JeffH–I know. I was just adding my two cents worth.

      • Rusticus

The elites gutted our industrial base over a period of about thirty years. The process was greatly accelerated under Clinton with NAFTA which made American jobs a major export.

Under Bush, the government gave courses in how to off-shore jobs.

There are more (free trade) rape the American middle class agreements in the works with Korea, Columbia and others. Another corporate dagger to the heart of American industry with the help of congress.

The Elites are the only people who benefit from these agreements. Since business has become global, these elites have no loyalty or fellow feeling for their fellow Americans.

Here is what economist, Peter Morici has to say in answer to the nonsense of hflashman and the couple of other totalitarian government lovers of the destructive Obama administration:

“With thousands of young college graduates moving in with parents and returning Iraq-war veterans facing long-term unemployment, President Obama is scrambling for cover. Irresponsible spending, largesse for big banks and subsidies for a broken health care system have busted the budget and failed to create jobs.

The Labor Department reported Friday the unemployment rate rose to 9.6 percent in August, with 54,000 jobs lost.

The unemployment rate ever creeps up a bit closer to 10 percent, as more and more Americans drain their retirement accounts and endure the frustration of slammed doors in Barack Obama’s jobs market.

In July alone, 381,000 adults chose to quit looking for work altogether and that trend will continue in President Obama’s land of dashed dreams and squandered opportunities.

The economy must add 13 million private sector jobs by the end of 2013 to bring unemployment down to 6 percent. President Obama’s policies are not creating conditions for businesses to hire those 320,000 workers each month, net of layoffs.

Net of inventory adjustments, the economy’s demand for goods and services is growing at only about one percent a year. The real potential is about five percent but with economic policies so ill conceived and with a President so ambivalent about private enterprises—other than those run by Wall Street barons, Hollywood producers and union bosses—that simply is not possible.

The president’s economic policies—more spending, taxes and regulation for Americans and appeasing foreign mercantilists like China—is simply not working.

The massive permanent expansion in federal spending and regulatory oversight built into President Obama’s budget is discouraging private hiring by raising fears of even higher taxes and yet more intrusive regulation.

Prior to the 2008 crisis, President Bush spent 19.6 percent of GDP and the deficit was $161 billion; whereas two years into the economic recovery in 2011, President Obama’s budget projects outlays at 25.1 percent of GDP and a $1.3 trillion deficit in 2011. The latter figures are like to be closer to 27 percent and close to $2 trillion if the president does not accomplish the four percent growth his budgets assume in stark contrast to the real world the rest of us struggle.

Much of the $787 stimulus money was squandered on political hobby horses that create few jobs. For example, grants to build green buildings displace other, more cost-effective private construction and don’t increase the amount of commercial space rented or built over the next several years. By delaying projects, those grants have slowed construction spending and killed jobs.

The biggest banks received more than $2 trillion in TARP and Federal Reserve assistance to clean up their balance sheets and recapitalize securities trading, while the 8000 regional banks got little assistance and remain burdened by toxic real estate loans. Consequently, nearly 250 regional banks have failed, and small and medium sized businesses cannot get credit to expand.

In addition to credit, businesses need more customers to create jobs, and the trade deficit—in particular, imports of oil and the imbalance with China—cut a huge hole in demand for U.S. goods and services. Without addressing oil and China, other efforts to create jobs are futile.

The president’s moratorium on deep water drilling, though popular with environmental fundamentalists, kills jobs by laying off workers in the oil, gas and supporting industries and by sending too many consumer dollars abroad that could be spent here.

Detroit has the technology to build much more efficient gasoline-powered vehicles now, and a shift in national policy to rapidly build these would reduce oil imports and create many jobs. Instead, the President proposes to replace stickers on cars that report gas mileage intelligent folks can understand with grade school letters—A, B, C…

If we could only have those letter grades for the President’s economic appointees, we might be better off

China’s undervalued currency makes its products artificially cheap and deceivingly competitive on U.S. store shelves, but Beijing’s promises of new flexibility on the yuan have not translated into meaningful revaluation. The President, like a provincial premier, stands patiently accepting Chinese largess—bond financing for profligate spending in Washington.

If President Obama wants to fix the federal deficit and create jobs, perhaps he should spend less, get serious about better using and developing American energy resources and quit appeasing China.

Candidate Obama promised those things but President Obama’s memory seems short on everything but the failings of presidents passed.”

Peter Morici is a professor at the Smith School of Business, University of Maryland School, and former Chief Economist at the U.S. International Trade Commission.

        DaveH,
I did with my kids just like my Dad did with me when I was a kid. When I got to the age that I destroyed a bike and wanted another, my Dad told me he would match every dollar I earned towards earning one. I had to wait awhile and had to repair the old one good enough to ride. Boy did I work for that money!!! I bought my kids their first bike (two wheeler) and they had to earn half of the price of all the next ones. elieve me when I say they took care of all the ones after that first one as did I.

      • Granny Mae

        Bruce,
We have the same kind of thing going on today! Our congressmen and Reps. are only thinking about staying in office and the votes they can get and where they can get them. Bill Nelson is another good one for that. He has been in for way too long and found his way around to buy votes. He is constantly tellin us how much he has done for this state. I told him I wasn’t interrested in what he did because he was suppose to do it, I was interrested in what he didn’t do and as far as I was concerned it was time for him to retire ! Nelson has been in there too long and so had Mccullin! It is time for new blood and I don’t mean that stupid woman running for Governor either. She came down here from New York and thinks she can bring New York politics to the state of Florida. Not on my vote she won’t ! She needs to go home and bake cookies !

      • Granny Mae

We need to stop with the blame game and party bashing and get down to the business of taking back America. Both party’s are corrupt! When you get people in office that have been there for over 4 to 6 years you have a careere politician and he is well set in the goings and comings of the corrupt machine in DC. I say throw them all out and start over. The same goes for State politics too. It’s time to set qualifications and expect our politicians to live up to them and if they don’t they get thrown out ! Also they need to have a working understanding of our constitution and form of government. Not the workings of lobbiests and off shore bank accounts and how to make a killing without being caught ! The Builderburgs and Soros and Kissinger and all the other filthy rich need to know that we know who they are and will not stand for their crap any longer. We can get rid of them too !

      • Bruce D.

I agree it is not the voting that is rigged but the canidates. The Tea Party did slip in a few good conservatives this time around. Something that would never have happened fours years ago.

      • JeffH

Bruce D., we’ve just got to continue the good fight, that’s all we’ve got. Good ole American resolve.

      • Carole Howell

        Jeff,

You started with a great post, I thought it would bring us together, but look, they start back with the stupid, distracting arguments again and not focusing on the real problem.

Someone said there is nothing we can do but sit back and watch. That is not exactly true. The country can be taken back, state by state. In the states we can vote for publicly financed elections. No state candidate can take corporate or special interest money, period. Change the state laws first and then the federal laws latter.

There are already people working all over the country now to do just that.

      • DaveH

Yes, but the Tea Party (with the aid of Sarah Palin) also kept the Liberal RINO John McCain in office.
There is only one party that has the necessary principles to push back Big Government and get us back our Freedom. But we need to give them support now, not later. They probably can’t win in the upcoming election but we can increase their exposure by voting for them and/or supporting them in other ways. If enough people were exposed to their ideas and understood why they would work, I think we could get our country back. Of course, whoever leads the charge back to Freedom, they are going to experience great difficulty, as there is going to be a lot of necessary economic pain before things get better. People are going to suffer. Remember, no pain, no gain. If we don’t get going and take the necessary bitter medicine, we are going to collapse anyway. So what do we have to lose?
For Personal Freedom, Personal Responsibility, Free Markets, and Limited Government please investigate the Libertarian Party. And study some of their principles at cato.com, mises.com, and reason.com.

      • Frank

1 Mc Cain won the primary and so far is not reelected. 2 the closest candadate to McCain in the primary was an insider too who loved earmarks when in the house. 3 Jim Deakin didn’t stand a chance to be elected but is a conservative and got my vote

      • DaveH

        Frank,
John McCain was virtually assured to keep his senate seat when he made it past the primary. Yes, I didn’t use mathematically precise language. Do I have to?
J.D. Hayworth may have not been any better, but it would have sent a strong message to the Republicans if McCain had been knocked out. However, I do think your approach is better, if only more people followed it. The Republican voters need to quit giving the RINOs a free pass if they ever want change back to Conservative candidates.

      • Granny Mae

        Dave H
Don’t worry, Mc Cain is going to get his one of these days too. There is just too much going on over there right now to switch just yet. If they can use us we can use them and he may just be useful in the near future.

      • Claire

JeffH–I agree with what you say. I just do not understand how McCain won the GOP nomination!! Everyone I know was against him. The hopey-changey crap didn’t work this time either. And why? Ten to one, he gets re-elected.

      • JeffH

Claire, RINO McCain spent a lot of dough and called in a lot of favors and, afterall, John McCain is a member of the American Friends of Bilderberg. The U.S. group that is directed by Henry Kissinger, David Rockefeller. I don’t know much about J. D. Hayworth but he seemed to have all of the right credentials to beat down McCain, just not the connections.

      • Claire

JeffH–I find the entire situation pitiful. Just more of the same. I could barf. What a way to run/ruin a country.

      • kate8

JeffH, I don’t care how much money McCain had. I don’t see how the voters could have fallen for any line he came up with. He’s been around long enough for the people of Arizona to know what he is about, and they don’t like him. Not after all his pandering to illegals for so long, and Arizona’s determination to do something about the problem. He stands in their way!

I still don’t believe he got the votes. Just doesn’t add up.

      • dan az

        Kate8
my point exactly there is no way that anyone here would want more of the same an to legalize 40 million illegals thats just a no brainer! So how did he get the votes?

      • Claire

kate8–I agree with you. Someone certainly did a bang-up job making sure McCain got the nomination. I still cannot believe it.

      • http://PersonalLibertyDigest Liberty

        Claire,

The repubs running McCain for president, might lead one to think most of the repubs are in on the plans many are referencing in the blog.

Remember what they (the repubs and the media) did to Ron Paul for talking about getting rid of The Federal Reserve, and his outspoken speeches regarding our house of cards and financial instability……? He was warning of many of the very things we are facing in a number of areas. Thank God they didn’t kill him.

      • Carole Howell

        People, People,

Nothing at all will change until we get complete publicly financed elections, period. No matter who gets elected, they will be corrupted by this system, or they will be character assassinated and die politically.

Complete publicly financed elections is the only cure. The only cure and look at how the MSM, the Supreme Court even fights against that idea. It has to be done state by state.

      • Claire

Liberty– I agree. This situation with Paul and Kucinich always brings JFK to mind.

      • Claire

Liberty— I was thinking of another post I had to answer when I included Kucinich. I meant Paul only.

      • Sapphira Sez

McCain got the nomination because democRATS in the early primaries crossed over and voted for him. He did not win by Republican votes, but by democRATS who wanted to run obuma against the weakest possible candidate.

      • Claire

Sapphira Sez–You have made a good point.

      • Bob

I live in NJ and I haven’t seen anything Christie has done that would benefit us. Let me in on it.

      • Wayne

Bob, he is not going to single you out to do only a good job for you, he is going to do what is best for the entire state. At least, that is the way I see it. This is the way the federal government should do it also. I hate to see certain states benefit from all the other states. Pork should be completely off the table except maybe in some emergencies.

      • Bob

Wayne I said us not me. What has he done?

      • Wayne

Bob, I am sure that others will disagree with you. When you said us, I didn’t think you meant the entire state. Maybe a modicum of the population, or just maybe yourself, or your family. You did not explain it very well. I think your governor is doing the right thing. To undo what you last Governor did to the state, Chris had to put the brakes on the states spending to keep your state sovereign, or go bankup. Bob, please understand it this way; say you went out and borrowed $100,000 from the bank. You could have a good time for a couple of years, or more. After you ran out of money you would have to go to work, and quit taking your vacations, cut back on movies, buying clothes, cut back on buying gasoline and pay back the bank… Do you get the point now? The money will have to be paid back. The trouble with some of the folks, and most branches of governments anymore, are that they have been living beyond their means for several years now and it is all coming back to haunt us. I feel certain that is what all of us conservatives are trying to tell you folks who leans to the left, and vote for the Democrats. That is how I feel, Bob.

      • JeffH

Bob, already Christie has vowed to not raise taxes and has set a plan in motion to close the 11 billion budget gap. He’s showing some tremendous cahones in the wake of the damages inflicted on NJ by the dirty Jon Corzine.

      • Carole Howell

Wayne, there you go blaming again, but as far as the people who voted democrat in the last election, to be fair, if Obama does not reduce our debt, he will be the first democratic President in our nation’s history not to decrease the National debt, the first one Wayne, check it out.

He still has 2 years to do so. I know things look bad, and I am not happy with him so far. And it is the huge National debt that reduces the value of the Dollar.

All this blaming divides us as a nation and takes our focus off the big and very real problem of big business buying our leaders and our leaders not doing the people’s business.

Let us keep our eyes on the ball, the real problem. What corrupts our government. Let us work to change that, once we get our government back, then we can argue Democrat, Republican, Independent, Libertarian, Green party virtues and faults. Right now we really do not have that luxury.

      • DaveH

Sure, Carole, the Democrats decrease the Debt by Raising Taxes. When they decrease the Debt by Reducing Spending, then I will applaud them.
I won’t hold my breath for that to happen.

      • Bob

Jeff Look beyond the budget. He is going to put 150 million taxpayer dollars into Xanadu and has promised 1 billion to build a skyscraper at ground zero thru the Port Authority. Larry Silverman got 6 billion from insurance to rebuild so why spend taxpayer money. It was kind of a coincidence that Silverman leased the towers 6 months before 911 and walked away with 6 billion.

      • JeffH

Bob, what the hay are you talking about? Got references?

      • Leland

It is not so much that the politicians are bought and paid for (I’m sure most are sincerely convinced that they are pursuing the “greater good”), it is more that they are just chief among the brainwashed. And they don’t really believe that they are lying; most of them have been indoctrinated into the belief that perception becomes reality. So, from their world view, they are not lying; they are instead trying to create a “better” reality for those they deem “worthy” (they and their fellow magicians) at the expense of those they deem “unworthy” (all of the rest of us). An outcome that they are indoctrinated to believe is right and just. But changing people’s perception cannot actually change reality; it can at most, for a time, obscure reality for the benefit of those creating the false perception and the detriment of those deceived by it. At its very root, their world view is based upon manipulation and fraud but their minds are overthrown to the point that they will never see that. And it doesn’t take any great intelligence to be a master manipulator (I’ve seen two year old children manipulating adults); all that it takes is an unrealistic attitude of entitlement and a callous disregard for (or a manipulated perception of)truth.

      • http://PersonalLibertyDigest Liberty

Leland – I do think most of the corrupt worthless oath breaking politicians are “bought off”. Check out the financial sheets on many of these con artists. They are not working for the benefit of America’s citizens (maybe for many non-citizens, which aids them in more payoffs). There’s very little new in history, just a different time and different names of the players.

Watch what the liars do, not what they say.

      • Leland

To be sure, there are some (perhaps even many) who are simply corrupt criminals to the core of their being but I’m afraid that just doesn’t fully explain what I see going on in the world and in our nation today. Many of them seem more like mindless puppets, oblivious to the strings controlling them. But believe what you choose to and I will do the same.

      • Carole Howell

Leland, they are lying and they know they are lying and they know why they are.

      • Leland

I have been personally acquainted who, after very careful consideration of their words and their behavior, I’ve become completely convince that they truly don’t believe they are lying. In my opinion, the people I knew personally (a couple were members of my own family) were subjected to trauma based mind control by a psychotherapy cult to the point of being multiple personality disordered, where one alternate personality could do or say things in furtherance of the cult’s agenda, with other alternate personalities knowing nothing about it. I see many of the same signs of that kind of mind control in many of those leading our nation. If you don’t see it, that doesn’t surprise me, but I’d encourage you to look a little more deeply.

      • http://?? Joe H.

        Leland,
These people, with the possible exception of a select few, are professional liars!!! They could convince a polygraph that they are telling the truth!! A dog would follow them thinking they are for real till they turn around and kick them in the azz!!! The same with people. They follow them, thinking they are honest or naieve, and the politicians turn around and kick them in the azz or cahones!!!

      • Steve

I could never figure out why the GOP chose the old warhorse RHINO McCain over Romney….Could it be that the masters of the universe had already dcided who was going to get elected and the election itself was just a show….

      • Sapphira Sez

See above. The democRATS voted McCain in during the primaries by crossing over to cast their vote and thereby run their man obuma against the weakest candidate.

      • Carole Howell

Yes, you are right, our Candidates are chosen for us by the people who know who will play ball with them and who will not.

That is why Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich were attacked or ignored by our MSM, they would not play ball, they have no dirt on them and they can not manipulate them and they cannot be bought, so they were considered to dangerous by the powers that be.

      • kate8

Carole, You are right about who gets media exposure.

I would not put Kucinich in the same sentence with Ron Paul, however. Kucinich is a self-avowed socialist, and is for total government control. Maybe TPTB think of him as a loose cannon, I don’t know. But I don’t think he’d make anything better.

      • Al Sieber

Carol H, we’ve been sold out a long time ago. Ron Paul say’s it like it is, Dennis K, sold himself self out for the Health Care Bill, check it out.

      • http://?? Joe H.

        carole,
I live in northeast Ohio and I’m quite familiar with David KOOKsinich! He is as whacked as they come!! what did him in was not his honesty, it was his “I saw a UFO” statement a few years ago! When I tell you he is a kook, I am understating the point!! The only thing that gets him re-elected is his loyalty to the city of Cleveland and his bringing pork to the city! check out the votes he got in his run for pres. and you will see the votes he DID get were the very same people and a few that believed his lies!!!

      • Bob

Kucinich turned and voted for the healthcare bill.

      • Al Sieber

        Damn straight Bob.

      • Granny Mae

        Steve
I have pondered that very same thought myself ! I still think that the rich powers that be do the picking of candidates and back them financially when necessary. That is why I say vote out the incumbants and get new blood in there !

      • Terry

Looking at the situation from a “deeper” political perspective may reveal the paradox behind the manipulative and bastardized electoral system we have in place, today. Remember, for one, that Lincoln ran for office under the “republican” ticket. Wilson, a professor from Princeton University, ran for office under the “democratic” ticket. The reason I chose these two former POTUS’s is because of their parties’ agendas during the eras in which they both chose to run their campaigns. Let’s start with Lincoln. Does anyone know that The Federal Reserve Act had been put forth before the two houses of government, as far back as 1839? Andrew Jackson vetoed its proposal, and was subjected to character assassination, and personal ridicule by the elitist faction proposing this preposterous idea of a “central” [read as "global" before the term became colloquially relevant, as in the 1990's] bank. Lincoln, as a representative from Illinois was another to cast his veto against what he believed would be the downfall of The American System should such an act be allowed to pass into law. He was assassinated to assure he’d never be alive to run for office, and continue to directly oppose any more of the Eastern Establishment’s “blue-blooded” schemes, in the future. Same thing with Garfield and McKinley, who were also wary of a banking system wielding that much control over the finances of a country.
And, let’s keep in mind the financial debacle awaiting the signage of this bill by Woodrow Wilson, who later exclaimed to his Vice President, “I believe I’ve just sold my country down the river.”

I am also of the mind that our form of electorate has been compromised by the Eastern Establishment Elitist faction, who have throughout history, taken the opportunity to align themselves with whichever party had the largest contingency from which to garner votes for themselves, under the pretext of guaranteeing to deliver, upon election to office, those promises made in exchange for their support in voting them into positions of power. In turn, this power was utilized as a way of positioning their hand-picked cronies, school chums, and financial backers into levels of government where they’d be most advantageous in lobbying for their “handlers” best vested interests. The Harrimans, of railroad barony, and BBH Brown Brothers Harriman, which acted as a U.S. base for industrialist, Fritz Thyssen, and the “democratic” ticket come to mind. As well as, the Bush Family dynasty, under Prescott Bush, banking partner of the aforementioned Fritz Thyssen, whose bank helped to finance Hitler during the 1930′s. [Excerpt: While there is no suggestion that Prescott Bush was sympathetic to the Nazi cause, the documents reveal that the firm he worked for, Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH), acted as a US base for the German industrialist, Fritz Thyssen, who helped finance Hitler in the 1930s before falling out with him at the end of the decade. The Guardian has seen evidence that shows Bush was the director of the New York-based Union Banking Corporation (UBC) that represented Thyssen's US interests and he continued to work for the bank after America entered the war.], and the “republican” ticket come to mind. And, lest we not forget the Bushes and their financial partner, Osama bin laden’s father, and their Wall Street company, The Carlylse Group. Therefore, I prefer to refer to the system that’s basically been at work for the past 50 odd years as, “1 Party – 2 Branches.”

Eight Presidents Who Opposed A Central Bank (Federal Reserve)

        Sun, Jul 25, 2010

        All Articles, Counterpoint

Since 1963, to this present day, the United States has remained under the control of the royal European banking elite through their control of the Federal Reserve who during this past nearly 60 years have all but dismantled what was once the great Nation known as the United States of America.

Through their infiltration of all levels of government, corporations and media, they have used their forces to destroy America’s “moral fiber” and reduce this once great power to but a shadow of its former self. Their once great industrial might is now gone, their schools are noted for their shockingly high dropout rates (even those who graduate know less than a child born a century ago), its once great cities are fast falling into ruin as its roads and bridges disintegrate too, and, perhaps worst of all, these once great people have nearly lost all hope.

The stage for this all occurring is being set now as the most pivotal day in the history of the United States is racing towards us all….December 21, 2012.

What I constantly argue is that without a central bank, talking about Afghanistan, Iraq, and now possibly Iran would be impossible, because the government would have to go directly to an individual to raise taxes, and would therefore be impossible after the 100th house they visited. Central banking allows for money to be produced out of “thin air” to finance our overseas empire. This is where we get inflation folks!!!

Since someone reading this thread, will question my wisdom, I wanted to talk about 6 presidents that did stop a central bank under their administration.

General George Washington (1732-1799) who is credited with being the “Father of the Nation” for winning his Nation’s war of Independence from the British. Washington gained further fame by returning to his Virginia farm in the “spirit of Cincinnatus” after ending his second term of office and not, as many had wished, becoming a king.

General Andrew Jackson (1767-1845). A hero of the War of 1812 for defeating a superior British force at the Battle of New Orleans, Jackson was put into power to defeat the establishment of a Central Bank that was supported by President John Quincy Adams (1767-1848) and was feared would split the Nation.

Of the danger facing the United States should a Central Bank be allowed to gain control of the US economy Jackson warned:

“The bold effort the present (central) bank had made to control the government … are but premonitions of the fate that await the American people should they be deluded into a perpetuation of this institution or the establishment of another like it. I am one of those who do not believe that a national debt is a national blessing, but rather a curse to a republic; inasmuch as it is calculated to raise around the administration a moneyed aristocracy dangerous to the liberties of the country.”

Directly to President Adams and the other Central Bank supporters Jackson said directly:

“Gentlemen, I have had men watching you for a long time and I am convinced that you have used the funds of the bank to speculate in the breadstuffs of the country. When you won, you divided the profits amongst you, and when you lost, you charged it to the bank. You tell me that if I take the deposits from the bank and annul its charter, I shall ruin ten thousand families. That may be true, gentlemen, but that is your sin! Should I let you go on, you will ruin fifty thousand families, and that would be my sin! You are a den of vipers and thieves.”

Adams was enraged at his and the Central Banks defeat by Jackson and refused to attend his inauguration. To his dying day Adams retained a great hatred of this president and as a Member of the United States House of Representatives (the only American President to serve in this body after leaving office.) cast the only “no” vote on a law to give medals to the US Military officers who had served in the Mexican-American War (1846-1848). Immediately after casting his vote Adams collapsed and died two days later.

General Ulysses S. Grant (1822-1885), who like Jackson before him was put into power to defeat those forces attempting to create a Central Bank said needed due to the United States massive debts incurred from their Civil War (1861-1865) and opposed by President Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865), who said:

“The government should create, issue, and circulate all the currency and credit needed to satisfy the spending power of the government and the buying power of consumers. The privilege of creating and issuing money is not only the supreme prerogative of government, but it is the government’s greatest creative opportunity. The financing of all public enterprise, and the conduct of the treasury will become matters of practical administration. Money will cease to be master and will then become servant of humanity.”

Upon President Lincoln’s assassination by those forces advocating a Central Bank he was succeeded by President Andrew Johnson (1808-1875) who, like Lincoln before him, opposed those European forces [the Rothschild's banking family alone was reported to have lost nearly $50 million in support of the Confederacy.] attempting to take control of the American economy and in further “outrages” against them forgave the Southern States of their debts, granted unconditional amnesty to all Confederate Soldiers, freed all remaining slaves in the United States, and paid back the Russian Empire for its blocking of a North American invasion by British and French forces by purchasing Alaska for $7.2 million.

For President Johnson’s continued opposing the aims of the Central Bankers he was greatly weakened by two attempts to impeach him from office [In 1926 the US Supreme Court ruled the basis for those impeachment attempts as unconstitutional.] thus necessitating the need to put General Grant in power.

Chester A. Arthur (1829-1886) who was also the first non-military member of the order to ascend to the Presidency but did so through the rules of primogeniture (right of first born) granted to him as the direct descendant of maternal grandfather and Revolutionary War leader Uriah Stone and was “established in place” to take power upon the assassination by these European bankers of President James A. Garfield (1831-1881).

President Garfield warned of the dangers to America should these Central Bankers ever gain power by stating shortly before his death in 1881, “Whoever controls the money of a nation, controls that nation and is absolute master of all industry and commerce. When you realize that the entire system is very easily controlled, one way or another, by a few powerful men at the top, you will not have to be told how periods of inflation and depression originate.”

William McKinley (1843-1901) whose membership in the order was granted under their rules of primogeniture through his grandfather and American Revolutionary War hero David McKinley, and who by his own right had distinguished himself as a hero in the Civil War.

President McKinley began his attack against the Central Bankers with his ally and Secretary of State John Sherman (1823-1900) whose connection his older brother and Civil War here General William Tecumseh Sherman (1820-1891). The legal tool used by President McKinley and Sherman against the European bankers was the law known as the “Sherman Antitrust Act” which was first brought to bear against the Rothschild supported and funded JP Morgan financial empire known as the Northern Trust who by the late 1800′s owned nearly all of America’s railroads.

Shortly after President McKinley began his attack against the Central Bankers he was assassinated (1901) allowing his Vice President Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt (1858-1919) to take power. Upon the Rothschild backed “and paid for” President Roosevelt taking office one of Roosevelt’s first acts was to drop the United States government lawsuits against the Northern Trust and accelerate the American age known as “Manifest Destiny” which continues to this day and basically gives these Central Bankers the “power” to plunder the entire World for profit and gain above all else.

The last chance to thwart the European plan to establish a Central Bank in the United States ended on April 14, 1912 with the deliberate sinking of the RMS Titanic by British agents that killed one of the orders members named Major Archibald Willingham Butt (1865-1912) along with the American business tycoons John Jacob Astor IV, Benjamin Guggenheim and Isidor Straus who were returning to the United States from Great Britain after what they believed was a successful “negotiation” with the Rothschild’s to “leave America alone” under “threat of war”

With the last “obstacles” removed from creating a Central Bank in the United States with the sinking of the Titanic the European banking powers forced through the American legal system what is known as the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 which once enacted (and remains to this day) became the sole and complete authority over the United States economy forcing the American people into two World Wars and countless other conflicts during the past 97 years all designed with one single purpose, to create for Europe’s royal families a “New World Order” controlled by them.

General Dwight David “Ike” Eisenhower (1890-1969), who was “appalled” over his Nations defacto surrender to Nazi German forces during World War II in order to obtain the atomic bomb Hitler was ready to use against them, and the deliberate murder of his close friend General George S. Patton (1885-1945) who upon his learning that Europe’s royal “powers” had delivered the atomic bombs secrets to the Soviet Union was ready to march against them.

Both Eisenhower and Patton, Sons of the American Revolution, were especially enraged over President Harry Truman’s (1884-1972) dropping of two atomic bombs on Japan.

President John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) with the election the country’s fortunes neared victory when on June 4, 1963 President Kennedy issued Executive Order 1110 which for the first time since 1913 returned to the United States government the power to issue currency, without going through the Federal Reserve (Central Bank).

Five months later, on November 22, 1963, President Kennedy was brutally assassinated while sitting by the side of his wife in a Dallas, Texas motorcade, an event so shocking that has continually been talked about through the ages.

        The Power Elite Exposed

There is… little doubt that the American power elite has… planned and plotted… The power elite is not altogether ‘surfaced.’… With the wide secrecy covering their operations and decisions, the power elite can mask their intentions, operations and further consolidation…. New men come into it [the power elite] and assume its existence without question.

–from “The Power Elite” (1956) by Columbia University sociologist C. Wright Mills

The nation’s immediate problem is that while the common man fights America’s wars, the intellectual elite sets its agenda. Today, whether the West lives or dies is in the hands of its new power elite: those who set the terms of public debate, who manipulate the symbols, who decide whether nations or leaders will be depicted on 100 million television sets as ‘good’ or ‘bad.’ This power elite sets the limits of the possible for Presidents and Congress. It molds the impressions that move the nation, or that mire it.

–from “The Real War” (1980) by President Richard Nixon

At the national level, this conditioning of the public might be brought about via certain crises, such as a terrorist attack… For the sake of peace and security, people may be willing to give up certain of their freedoms to some extent.

–from “The Globalists: The Power Elite Exposed” (published July 2001, two months before the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001) by Dennis L. Cuddy, Ph.D.

Popular national radio talk-show host Rush Limbaugh repeatedly refers to anyone who believes in a one-world government conspiracy involving the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) as a “kook.” However, on his February 7, 1995 program, he remarked:

“You see, if you amount to anything in Washington these days, it is because you have been plucked or handpicked from an Ivy League school… Harvard, Yale, Kennedy School of Government … you’ve shown an aptitude to be a good Ivy League type, and so you’re plucked so to speak, and you are assigned success. You are assigned a certain role in government somewhere, and then your success is monitored and tracked, and you go where the pluckers and the handpickers can put you….

        The Open Conspiracy

While there are conspiracies going on in the world today, the pursuit of world government now is no longer conspiratorial in the sense of being hidden or secret. Rather, it’s what socialist author H.G. Wells called “The Open Conspiracy,” as prominent people such as Bill Clinton have openly written in support of world government. It will probably be a World Socialist Government, synthesizing western capitalism and eastern communism. In fact, Joseph Stalin in a speech at Sverdlov University in April 1924 pronounced that “the amalgamation and collaboration of nations within a single world system of economy… constitutes the material basis for the victory of Socialism.” And regarding what world government will ultimately mean, it will be authoritarian and repressive, for as Lord Acton wrote: “Absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

In 1891, gold and diamond magnate Cecil Rhodes formed a secret society, the “Society of the Elect”, to “absorb the wealth of the world” and “to take the government of the whole world,” according to Rhodes. According to Prof. Carroll Quigley, Bill Clinton’s mentor at Georgetown University, in The Anglo-American Establishment, Rhodes’ conspiratorial secret society lasted almost 60 years. By that time, enough members of the society and Rhodes Scholars had penetrated the areas of politics, economics, journalism and education, so that the society was simply replaced by a network of power elite, who would openly pursue world government.

        According to Quigley:

“The [Rhodes] scholarships were merely a façade to conceal the secret society, or, more accurately, they were to be one of the instruments by which members of the secret society could carry out Rhodes’ purpose.”

And in case anyone doubts the credibility of Prof. Quigley regarding this matter, The Washington Post article (March 23, 1975) about him and his information obtained from the power elite’s “secret records” was titled “The Professor Who Knew Too Much.”

Cecil Rhodes’ secret society was comprised of a small “Circle of Initiates” and a larger semi-secret “Association of Helpers” which formed Round Table Groups. Members of these groups along with members of the Fabian (Socialist) Society as well as “The Inquiry” (a group formed by President Woodrow Wilson’s chief advisor, Col. Edward M. House) formed the Royal Institute of International Affairs in Great Britain, and its American branch, the CFR. Both Prof. Quigley in Tragedy and Hope and CFR member Arthur Schlesinger, Jr. in A Thousand Days have referred to the CFR as a “front” for the power elite. And in Men and Powers, former West Germany chancellor Helmut Schmidt referred to the CFR as “the foreign policy elite,” which prepared people for “top-level missions” in government and “other centers of international policy” and “had very silent but effective ways of seeing to its own succession.”

Members of Rhodes’ secret society networked with Fabian Socialists, who established the London School of Economics in 1895. One early Fabian, H.G. Wells, in New Worlds for Old explained what he called “a plot,” whereby heads of state would come and go, but bureaucrats trained at the London School of Economics, for example, would remain in government making rules and regulations furthering the goals of the Fabian Socialists.

Wells broke with the Fabians, not in terms of goals, but only in believing they should be open about them, as he explained the coming synthesis of western capitalism and eastern communism into a world socialist government. In this regard, he authored The Open Conspiracy: Blue Prints for a World Revolution (1928) and The New World Order (1939), in which he said sovereign states (nations) would end and “countless people… will hate the new world order… and will die protesting against it.”

The power elite understood that it would be difficult to get the people of the world to accept a world government all at once, and so a gradualistic approach was suggested. Association of Helpers member and Canadian Rhodes scholar P.E. Corbett in Post-War Worlds (1942) wrote:

“A world association binding together and coordinating regional groupings of states may evolve toward one universal federal government… World government is the ultimate aim, but there is more chance of attaining it by gradual development.”

        Freedom From War

More recently, at Mikhail Gorbachev’s first “State of the World Forum” in 1995, Zbigniew Brzezinski (President Jimmy Carter’s National Security Advisor) announced that

“[we] cannot leap into world government through one quick step, but rather via progressive regionalization.”

During the presidency of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the trend toward socialism was obvious, but even after World War II it continued, as U.S. Rep. Carroll Reece on April 6, 1956 delivered a speech saying, “We approach closer and closer to socialism,” and “The foundation-financed cartel promotes the idea of government by an elite.”

One of the elite was Rhodes scholar Walt Rostow who, in “The United States in the World Arena” (1960), proposed “an end to nationhood as it has been historically defined.” He became Deputy National Security Advisor for President John F. Kennedy, whose Secretary of State was Rhodes scholar Dean Rusk, who in September 1961 issued “Freedom From War: The U.S. Program for General and Complete Disarmament in a Peaceful World”.

The same year “Freedom From War” was issued, another Rhodes scholar, Richard Gardner, became Deputy Assistant Secretary of State and three years later, while still in that position, authored “In Pursuit of World Order”. The Foreword to this book was written by Rhodes scholar Harlan Cleveland, who has been a CFR member, Ambassador to NATO, Director of International Affairs at the Aspen Institute for Humanistic Studies, and Chairman of the U.S. Weather Modification Advisory Board. Cleveland’s books include “The Third Try at World Order”, “Birth of a New World”, and “The Global Commons: Policy for the Planet”.

How would “World Order” be pursued? In the April 1974 edition of the CFR’s journal Foreign Affairs, Richard Gardner wrote in “The Hard Road to World Order”, that it would involve “an end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece.” He believed that approach would “accomplish much more than the old-fashioned frontal assault,” and he further explained how GATT could be involved in the process. Gardner would eventually become an advisor on the United Nations to CFR member Bill Clinton’s first presidential campaign, after which he would become U.S. Ambassador to Spain, from which would come Marxist Javier Solana as the head of NATO with the support of the Clinton administration.
        The Third Way

Bill Clinton had become a Rhodes scholar in the late 1960s with support from Prof. Quigley and Rhodes scholar U.S. Senator J. William Fulbright, who had authored “Old Myths and New Realities” (1964), announcing:

“Indeed, the concept of national sovereignty has become in our time a principle of international anarchy… The sovereign nation can no longer serve as the ultimate unit of personal loyalty and responsibility.”

During then Governor Clinton’s 1992 presidential campaign, his Rhodes scholar roommate at Oxford University, CFR director Strobe Talbott, wrote in Time magazine (July 20, 1992) that

“perhaps national sovereignty wasn’t such a great idea after all… But it has taken the events in our own wondrous and terrible century to clinch the case for world government.”

For that article, Talbott would receive the World Federalist Association (WFA)’s “Norman Cousins Global Governance Award,” and on June 22, 1993, President Clinton would send a congratulatory letter to the WFA regarding the award, saying that previous WFA president Norman Cousins had worked for world peace “and world government.” President Clinton ended the letter by wishing the WFA “future success.” The WFA’s objective is world federal government, and in 1994 it published “The Genius of Federation: Why World Federation Is the Answer to Global Problems”, in which it strategized:

“Let the U.N. establish new agencies such as the International Criminal Court… National sovereignty would be gradually eroded until it is no longer an issue. Eventually a world federation can be formally adopted with little resistance.”

In November 2003, the WFA merged with the “Campaign for United Nations Reform” to form a new organization called “Citizens for Global Solutions” with the motto “Building a World Community Under Law.”

During his presidency, Bill Clinton would also develop a close relationship with British Prime Minister Tony Blair (a vice-president of Socialist International), whose “The Third Way: New Politics for the New Century” calling for “ethical socialism” was published in September 1998 by the Fabian (Socialist) Society. And in The Washington Post (April 7, 1999), Rhodes scholar E.J. Dionne, Jr. wrote “A World Safe for Socialism,” describing how the Democratic Leadership Council

“…found itself playing host… to four Western European leaders whose parties have socialist and social democratic roots… All subscribe to versions of the ‘Third Way’ approach to politics that Blair and Clinton have been marketing.”

When Bill Clinton was first campaigning for the presidency, he took a “tough” stand concerning policy toward Communist China. However, over the years of his presidency, his policies toward that nation took a dramatically more friendly shift. On ABC’s “This Week” (March 15, 1997), Rhodes scholar and former Clinton administration communications director George Stephanopoulos (CFR member) revealed: “There were a lot of reasons the president changed his policy on China… It had little to do with [Chinese] contributions.” And when Cokie Roberts on the same program, said, “It had more to do with American money,” Stephanopoulos replied: ” Council on Foreign Relations, Lehman Brothers, Goldman-Sachs, absolutely.” Quite a few Rhodes scholars have occupied high-level positions with Goldman-Sachs over the years.

At this point, someone might say that they understand that Cecil Rhodes had a secret society to take over the world, and that Rhodes scholars like Robert Reich, Ira Magaziner, James Woolsey and others played important roles in the Clinton Administration. But, they might say, “That’s all over, isn’t it, now that Clinton has left office?”
        Full Coverage

It’s important to remember, though, in this regard what Prof. Quigley said in “Tragedy and Hope”. He noted that William C. Whitney and others of wealth in the late 19th century developed a plan whereby they would control both major political parties through financial contributions, and then have those parties alternate power so that the public would think it had a choice.

Prof. Quigley said that Whitney’s plan lasted about 16 years, and after that, the “Eastern Establishment” (power elite) moved the Democrat and Republican presidential candidates toward the political center, “assiduously fostering the process behind the scenes.” Prof. Quigley also said “the process was concealed, as much as possible,” and Quigley himself believed

“the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy.”

William C. Whitney and his son were members of Yale University’s secret society Skull & Bones. And while Rhodes scholars were penetrating the areas of education, economics, journalism and politics, Skull & Bones member and Fabian Socialist ally Daniel Coit Gilman brought G. Stanley Hall to Johns Hopkins University, where he mentored Fabian Socialist ally John Dewey, the “father of progressive education,” who said in “Individualism, Old and New” that “we are in for some kind of socialism.”
        …in Economics

In economics, Skull & Bones member Thomas Daniels was Chairman of the Board of Archer-Daniels-Midland transnational corporation, and Fabian Socialist John Maynard Keynes was promoting his debt-laden “Keynesian economics,” which President Richard Nixon (CFR member) in a January 4, 1971 interview with Rhodes scholar Howard K. Smith said he had now adopted. On September 30, 2001 on “Fox News Sunday,” Skull & Bones member President George W. Bush’s chief-of-staff Andrew Card also said he believed a combination of supply-side and Keynesian economics works best.
        …in Journalism

In journalism, just as Rhodes scholars like Erwin Canham (president of the American Society of Newspaper Editors) and newsmen Howard K. Smith and Charles Collingwood along with Fabian (Socialist) Society members like Walter Lippmann (member of “the Inquiry” and CFR founding member) became prominent Skull & Bones members, Richard Ely Danielson became publisher of Atlantic Monthly, Russell Wheeler Davenport became editor of Fortune, William F. Buckley, Jr. became publisher of National Review, and Henry Luce became the founder of Time. Luce biographer Robert Herzstein wrote:

“Early on, young Harry [Henry Luce] learned that a powerful circle of contacts and friends could move the world.”

        …in Politics

In politics, Skull & Bones member William Howard Taft in 1912 lost his presidential re-election bid in a three-way race similar to that of 1992 when Skull & Bones member George H.W. Bush lost his re-election bid to Bill Clinton. In 1912, Taft lost to Gov. Woodrow Wilson, a Democrat whose chief advisor Col. Edward M. House had promoted in “Philip Dru: Administrator”: “…socialism as dreamed of by Karl Marx.” And in 1992, President George H.W. Bush lost to Rhodes scholar Bill Clinton, who soon thereafter introduced a health care plan about which Milton Friedman on C-Span (Nov. 20, 1994) said: “You can’t think of a more Socialist program than the health care program that he [Bill Clinton] tried to get us to adopt.”

Relevant to Prof. Quigley’s reference to William C. Whitney’s plan for an alternation of power and the power elite’s promotion of Democrat and Republican presidential candidates whose foreign policy views are similarly globalist, Skull & Bones member George W. Bush then succeeded Bill Clinton as president, but foreign policy remained basically the same, which is what the power elite want. George W. Bush, his father, and Bill Clinton all supported such things as NAFTA, GATT, the World Trade Organization, U.N. peacekeeping operations, and “Most Favored Nation” trading status for Communist China. And like his father and Bill Clinton, President George W. Bush (whose website for his presidential campaign of 2000 was [hosted] with “Illuminati Online”) has appointed notable CFR members to high-level positions in his administration. They include Colin Powell, Christine Todd Whitman, Elaine Chao, Condoleeza Rice and Robert Zoellick. Vice-President Dick Cheney is also a CFR member, and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld is a former CFR member.

In the presidential campaign of 2004, among the leading Democratic challengers to President Bush were General Wesley Clark (Rhodes scholar from Little Rock, Arkansas) and U.S. Senator John Edwards, whose primary domestic policy advisor was Bruce Reed (Rhodes scholar who was President Clinton’s Domestic Policy Council deputy assistant). Though each of these candidates won a state’s primary, U.S. Senator John Kerry has won far more primary states and is the presumptive Democratic nominee for President. Like President George W. Bush, Sen. Kerry is also a member of Skull & Bones, so whether the Democratic or Republican nominee wins the election in November 2004, a member of Skull & Bones will be President. And like President Bush, Sen. Kerry has also supported NAFTA, GATT, etc., which are vitally important to the power elite.

At this point, someone might argue that neither President George H.W. Bush nor his son, President George W. Bush, promotes Socialism per se, and that is correct. But it should be remembered that what is at work is a “process,” and when President George H.W. Bush gave us national education goals and his son’s federal education budget is the largest ever, including an element of “accountability” to the federal Department of Education, that cannot be considered a movement away from socialism.

Similarly, when President George H.W. Bush and his son both show some deference to the U.N., which is overwhelmingly dominated by Socialist nations, that cannot be considered a movement away from a world socialist government. Is there really any substantial difference between President George H.W. Bush saying the Gulf War against Iraq was conducted under the authority of a U.N. resolution, and Bill Clinton saying on October 19, 1993 regarding Somalia that his administration is engaging in a political process “to see how we can… do all things the United Nations ordered [us] to do”? And in case one doesn’t believe the U.N. is pursuing world government status, what else can one call it when the U.N.’s International Criminal Tribunal claims the right to indict even an elected head of state of a sovereign nation and pursue him anywhere in the world?

Concerning the United Nations, one can find examples of both Rhodes scholar and Skull & Bones involvement. At the suggestion of President Clinton, U.N. Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali made Rhodes scholar James Gustave Speth head of the U.N. Development Program. This was after Vice-President Bush in 1986 had recommended Skull & Bones member William Henry Draper III for the same position. Incidentally, Draper in 1977 had contributed $93,000 to Skull & Bones member George W. Bush’s first company, Arbusto Energy, of which Salem bin Laden (Osama bin Laden’s brother) was also a founder.

Regarding other Skull & Bones members around George H.W. Bush (whose brother, Jonathan, is a member), Christopher Buckley (William F. Buckley, Jr.’s son) is a member of this Yale University secret society and was a speechwriter for Vice-President Bush. And member Bruce S. Gelb (CFR member) was director of the U.S. Information Agency and later Ambassador to Belgium after Vice-President Bush became President. And regarding President George W. Bush, he appointed a number of fellow Skull & Bones members including Edward McNally (General Counsel to the Office of Homeland Security), William Howard Taft IV (legal counsel to Secretary of State Colin Powell), and William Henry Donaldson (Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission).
        …in the U.S. Government

In the U.S. Government, there has also been matching Rhodes scholar and Skull & Bones involvement. In the executive branch, at the same time Rhodes scholar Strobe Talbott was becoming number two at the State Department, President Clinton had appointed Skull & Bones member Winston Lord (former CFR president) as an Assistant Secretary of State. And just as President John F. Kennedy had a number of Rhodes scholars at high levels in his administration, Skull & Bones members McGeorge Bundy and brother William Bundy occupied high-level positions then as well.

William Bundy also worked for the CIA as have other Skull & Bones members such as William F. Buckley, Jr., his brother James Buckley, William Sloane Coffin, Archibald MacLeish, Richard Bissell, F. Trubee Davison, Amory Bradford Howe (general manager of The New York Times form the mid-1940s until 1963), Richard Drain, Howard Weaver, and Hugh Cunningham (also a Rhodes scholar). Skull & Bones member George H.W. Bush actually headed the CIA as have Rhodes scholars Stansfield Turner and James Woolsey.
        …in the Military

Regarding the military, Skull & Bones member Henry Stimson (who initiated George H.W. Bush into the same secret society) was Secretary of War in the administration of President Franklin Roosevelt, and President Clinton appointed Rhodes scholar Gen. Wesley Clark as head of NATO forces. President Clinton also appointed Rhodes scholar Richard Danzig as Secretary of the Navy and Rhodes scholar Admiral Dennis C. Blair as Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Pacific Command.
        …in the Legislature

In the legislative branch, a number of Rhodes scholars and Skull & Bones members have been in Congress, and former U.S. Senator David Boren (CFR member) is both a Rhodes scholar and Skull & Bones member, who on August 26, 1992 wrote an article in The New York Times advocating a rapid deployment force for the U.N. to facilitate “the new world order.” During the Clinton presidency, Sen. Boren (as a Rhodes scholar) persuaded President Clinton to make George Tenet head of the CIA, and then Sen. Boren (as a Skull & Bones member) persuaded fellow Bonesman President George W. Bush to keep Tenet in that important position.
        …in the Judiciary

In the judicial branch, the U.S. Supreme Court has included Skull & Bones members Potter Stewart and William Howard Taft (Chief Justice), and Rhodes scholars John Harlan, David Souter, and Byron White. One of Justice White’s law clerks was Rhodes scholar David Kendall, who was also President Clinton’s attorney during the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

Outside of government, of course, Rhodes scholars and Skull & Bones members have also been involved in important areas of American life, such as finance. Earlier it was mentioned how quite a few Rhodes scholars have worked for Goldman-Sachs over the years, and Skull & Bones members Averell Harriman, his brother E. Roland Harriman, and [Senator] Prescott Sheldon Bush (George H.W. Bush’s father) were partners in Brown Brothers, Harriman and Co..
        Problem, Reaction, Solution

These individuals have formed a network of power over the years, and although not every Rhodes scholar and Skull & Bones member has been plotting to take over the world, they are, for the most part, an elite whose globalist goals must be resisted by Americans who oppose any diminution of our Constitutional freedoms or our national sovereignty.

How might this diminution occur? At the top of page 303 of my book, “The Globalists: The Power Elite Exposed”, published in July 2001, I state:

“At the national level, this conditioning of the public might be brought about via certain crises, such as a terrorist attack… For the sake of peace and security, people may be willing to give up certain of their freedoms to some extent.”

Then on September 11 2001, terrorists attacked the Pentagon near Washington, D.C., and the World Trade Center in New York City, and a few hours later ABC News/Washington Post released poll results showing two-thirds “say they would sacrifice some personal liberties in support of anti-terrorism efforts.” Does this mean the power elite plotted the attacks on September 11?

After all, didn’t the public affairs website IndiaReacts.com report on June 26 that “…the U.S. and Russia plan ‘limited military action’ against the Taliban if the contemplated tough new economic sanctions don’t bend Afghanistan’s fundamentalist regime”? And didn’t the PBS program “Jihad in America” in 1994 show radical Muslims speaking in the U.S. over a decade ago and saying they would attack our airplanes and go after our high buildings? And in the same year of 1994, didn’t Islamic terrorists hijack a plane in Algiers, intending to fly the passenger aircraft full of fuel into a tall prominent structure, the Eiffel Tower, exploding the plane over Paris?

Closer to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, didn’t AirlineBiz.com on June 23, 2001 carry a report by a Muslim who had just interviewed Osama bin Laden and concluded that it was a race to see whether the U.S. would attack bin Laden first or he would attack the U.S. first? Shortly after this report, didn’t the Northwest Airlines flight attendants’ website carry a “Backgrounder” by Washington Times reporter Bill Gertz referring to “Project Bojinka” with hijacked airliners flying into the World Trade Center, Pentagon and other buildings? Then on September 10, 2001, didn’t some top Pentagon officials suddenly cancel their travel plans for the next morning apparently because of security concerns, according to two reports by Newsweek? And on the evening of September 10, 2001, eight hours before the terrorist attacks of September 11, didn’t San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown’s security people at the airport there call him before his flight to New York City the morning of September 11 and advise him that he and all Americans should be cautious about their air travel (see The San Francisco Chronicle, September 12, page A17)?

How could our leaders following the September 11 terrorist attacks here say that no one could have imagined such a thing would occur? I filed a Freedom of Information request regarding any warnings, alerts, or emergency rulings by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) or other government agencies pertaining to transportation between May 2001 and September 15 of that year. The Department of Homeland Security replied they had found 12 relevant Information Circulars, but they would not let me see them.

Wasn’t Marcus Mabry’s Newsweek Web Exclusive of September 15, 2001, about the terrorist attacks and their aftermath titled, “Welcome to the New World Order”? And didn’t Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien say on September 29, 2001, that “there will probably be a new order in the world that will probably be better than we have now”?

No, the power elite actually didn’t plot the attacks of September 11 — they didn’t have to.

Remember that Rhodes’ conspiracy ended as such around 1960 because enough like-minded globalists were in key positions in politics, economics, education and journalism, and his conspiracy was no longer necessary (being replaced by a global network of power elite pursuing world government). When a student several years ago went on a shooting rampage, the press rarely reported that he was stopped by a teacher with a gun, because the press is overwhelmingly for gun control. The power elite did not have to call editors of the nation’s newspapers and tell them what to say.

Similarly, the power elite didn’t call up terrorists and tell them to fly into the Pentagon and World Trade Center. However, if I could forecast terrorist attacks, so can the power elite.

Rather, there is a dialectic at work here. You may recall that under at State Department contract, CFR member Lincoln Bloomfield in 1962 wrote:

“A world effectively controlled by the United Nations is one in which ‘world government’ would come about through the establishment of supranational institutions, characterized by… some ability to employ physical force… [But] if the communist dynamic was greatly abated, the West might lose whatever incentive it has for world government.”

Interestingly, Bloomfield also wrote that the world government could come about by means of

“…a grave crisis or war to bring about a sudden transformation in national attitudes sufficient for the purpose… The order we examine may be brought into existence as a result of a series of sudden, nasty, and traumatic shocks.”

Relevant to today, it is the reaction (public willingness to give up some Constitutional freedoms) to the action (terrorist attack wherever and whenever and however it occurs) that is important to the power elite. Thus, they don’t have to cause the action, but only anticipate that it will occur sometime, and emphasize the public reaction to it to further their goals. And in case anyone doesn’t believe the power elite wants a diminution of our Constitutional freedoms and our national sovereignty, just look at “Our Global Neighborhood: The Basic Vision”, a document produced several years ago by the Commission on Global Governance, whose work was supported by then U.N. Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali. Members of the Commission included Maurice Strong (Secretary-General of the Rio Earth Summit, co-author of the current Earth Charter, and right-hand man of U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan) and Barber Conable (former president of the World Bank). Among the Commission’s proposals are that:

“…a new world order must be organized… In certain fields, sovereignty has to be exercised collectively… The principle of sovereignty must be adapted in such a way as to balance… the interests of nations with the interests of the global neighborhood… We strongly endorse community initiatives to… encourage the disarming of civilians… We would like to see a permanent international criminal court instituted as a matter of the highest priority…. We are… in need of a mobilizing principle… a new world order that secures the ascendancy of global neighborhood values over divisive nationalism.”

Of course, the public will have to be prepared to accept world government, and what better way to do that than via education. The primary arm of the U.N. dealing with education is UNESCO, and in its first Director-General Sir Julian Huxley’s “UNESCO: Its Purpose and Its Philosophy” (1948), he wrote: “Political unification in some sort of world government will be required.”

On October 3, 2003, on the occasion of the U.S. rejoining UNESCO (after President Reagan had withdrawn the U.S.), U.S. Secretary of Education Rod Paige declared:

“The United States is pleased to return to UNESCO… Our governments have entrusted us with the responsibility of preparing our children to become citizens of the world… UNESCO is a powerful forum for sharing our views, developing a common strategy, and implementing joint action.”

The problem with the concept of “world citizens” is that just as “citizens” of a state have to obey the laws of that state, “citizens of the world” will be expected to obey world laws. And the clear majority of the world’s nations are Socialist, so that world laws will reflect a socialist perspective.

The conditioning of the public in the past has been gradual, but as famous author H.G. Wells noted, the process will speed up in the end as the synthesis toward a World Socialist Government gains greater momentum. Hopefully, Americans will wake up before it’s too late and resist this global effort on the part of the power elite.

Terry, sorry pal but you could just as well of told us where to buy the book…I’ll read it when I have too much free time on my hands.

Most people here won’t take the time to read something that takes up so much space…it might have been more effective to leave a link or three to reference.

      • libertytrain

JeffH – so correct as always. It’s very rude to take up so much space when a reference to the book somewhere would have done nicely. I don’t understand what people are thinking when they do this sort of thing.

      • JeffH

libertytrain, while I know his intent was informational and honorable it’s just too darn long. I’ll come back and read it when I’m more in “the mood”.

        JeffH
Thats right. I got no time to play that stupid game. That is not only rude it is disrespectful of all the rest of us ! What a jerk !

While I was most impressed by your leadership qualities, perceptual acuity, and keen powers of perspective in understanding the deeper problems involved with our political system, I felt dismayed that certain individuals would find the information I posted, offensive due to its length. Sure, I could very well have left the url’s or the links instead, but what if they didn’t open properly, which can sometimes be the case? I was merely attempting to make it easier for people to read and absorb the data.

      • Jimmy G

        Terry,
I must be the only one who read this, it certainly is believable. Paul wrote to us 2000 years ago in a letter to the Thessalonians this very thing. Where are most of these people now? God already knows their game plan, and its a loser.

that was a great post I have read some on each of what you said but to put in into perspective the way you did is amazing to say the least. With the corruption so deep it will take our life time to straighten it out if that is even possible. If the flashes and eddies would only read it we could all stay on track and quit bickering among our selves and get to work on bring change to what has been in the works for a very long time. Its more than our nations problem that it is a world problem.Still we need to start some where and complete the distruction of this one world order. Thanks again for the history lesson some times I forget all that I have read and keep up the good work!

Thank you realizing the importance of the information contained in that post, and for taking the time to read it, Dan.

Great post JeffH, but I’m leaning towards dan’s comment, I’ve been voting for 40 years and never seen any changes. one party creates the problem, and the other party comes up with the solution.

      • Sapphira Sez

Dan and Al, one party creates the problem and the other party exacerbates it by throwing more money at it. Nobody solves it.

      • Carole Howell

        Sapphira Sez,

You are closer to the mark. But at this point, parties do not matter. Neither has a handle on the problems.

Because the problem is corruption. Big business and special interests (read Israel lobby for one is in control now.

We need to take control away from these corruptors. Only one way to do that, publicly financed elections.

      • Al Sieber

Carole,I read the Israel Lobby, good info., it goes way beyond that, check out iamthewitness.com.

    • blv54

this is true I’m afraid, I hate to see whats gonna happen after Nov right now everyone is pinning there hopes on the elections, things probably won’t change though, the republicans will get back in and the agenda will continue just like it did with dems in control, they just run us back and forth between the 2 parties and nothing is different if there’s still voting in another 4yrs we’ll be putting the demorats back in and from there back to repubs, I wonder if any rioting will break out when people realize voting didn’t change things I kinda think it won’t because no one seems to have any will left in them anymore.

  • JeffH

It’s disheartening to feel like you’re banging your head against the wall, but at times that’s just how it feels. The world has been duped as well as Americans. We’re systematically fighting to maintain a system based on freedom of choice and we might be able to stop the bleeding…but for how long? The worlds financial manipulators really do have all the control, it’s not cheap mind you, but make no mistake we’re pissing into a strong headwind. Our political system is so corrupted by these elite globalists and are nothing more than willing participants to these puppet masters. Clinton, Bush I and II and the hand picked O’man, the ultimate master of deceit, is leading his Alinsky’esk charge to the finish. There isn’t any fair media anymore as they’re a part of the master propaganda machine feeding the masses with mis-information. The world’s economy is manipulated by the World Banks, House of Rothschilds, and all the willing One World Government supporters. They’ve got much more money than we could ever dream of and if you got enough money you can buy anything.
We sit around argueing with each other over right/left, Democrat/Republican, corporation/government, Bush/Obama and liberal/conservative when in fact were all victims of a far reaching game that has been played and controlled by the worlds most elite and richest family for centuries around the world and with every economy, war, and man made disasters.

There is just enough information about the elite to give us a fair idea…the problem is that they are bigger than any world government, they are in a sense just that. They are untouchable.

For that I say let us fight the good fight, for God and country as well as our countrymen and let’s force them to spend a good bit of their bottomless funds and put some more of them out of our political business. As is said, time is money.

    • TIME

Jeff, Thats one of the best post I have read in a long time.

      Bob, Great blog.

      • robin

        I agree wholeheartedly!

      • kate8

Great article, Bob. And JeffH, great post. You both have pierced the illusion with the sword of Truth.

When you think of how a handful of controlling elites have manipulated the world since (the beginning?), pitting man against man, controlling the demise of regimes and the emergence of new ones, all for nothing but their own gain and pleasure…

If we look at it from the perspective of all things reflecting all things, microcosm/macrocosm, we can view the elites as life-sucking parasites that feed off their host until it dies (Earth being host). But then, without the host, the parasites must also die.

Is this the end of time scenario? Or will the elites survive to set up a new system of Earth-enslavement, starting with a new race of humanity to herd and harvest once again?

Or is it possible that the elites will, as scripture indicates, end up annihilating themselves (along with most of us), and bring about an age of true enlightenment for a select few, if only for a time?

And so, around and around she goes, and where she stops…or does she ever stop? I suspect not. It seems to be the way of things.

And so, once again, humanity finds itself on the brink, because of it’s own arrogance and excesses, thinking it need not follow the Laws set before them by an infinitely wiser Intelligence. Thinking it can gain mastery over forces it doesn’t begin to comprehend.

I suppose that all we can do is prepare the best we can for our earthly needs, for whatever that is worth. But for those who can hear the Voice calling within to look up and “come out of her, My people”, we know we have other preparation to make as well.

      • JeffH

kate8, without the sharing done by all of us “loonies” we’d still be using outhouses for all the crap that gets thrown around. Some get it, some don’t. All we can do is keep up the good fight. Thanks to all of you for fighting the good fight.

      • BrotherPatriot

        Roger that.

I thank you all for the positive comments that you leave and the work that you & other writers have been doin, Mr. Livingston. It is nice to know that my research, the hours infront of this monitor haven’t been in vain and that I haven’t been pursuing some weird distortion of the truth that has led me astray. Reading your comments gives me comfort in knowing that I’m not alone…since so many around me continue to sleep and refuse to accept the truth.

We are talking about historic, irrefutable evidence. Yet…now that the dots are connected and people (like me) are waking up…are we to late? Can we make a difference this Nov & begin to unravel their damage? In my opinion…the cleaning up of our Government has to be radically done. I’m seriously stating that we have to Purge the majority and bring in conservative constitutionalists (<— is that a word? lol)…we have to have REAL American's serving the people. Not the people following the New World Order that have had control for so long w/their central bank…the federal reserve. They control our money & so they control us. Once again…tell me why we dont' print our own money & not borrow it w/interest? That just seems sooo…assinine!

I'm sorry…but in order to do this it means we have to bring the truth out into the light of day & this topic includes the people who founded our country. The Masons. My research shows that they are woven into the very fabric of not just the American Society but most all other nations as well…& by doing this they have warped our perseptions just as Mr. Livingston has said. We are blessed to have him & people such as JeffH, kate8, Andrew & perhaps myself at least willing to speak the truth. To try & save this wonderful experiment that is the…American Dream.

GOD Bless America and the Republic for which it stands…

P.S. My source is my own compilation of data that I worked on for awhile…but lately, well you know it just gets you down. I'm sure I'll work on the link below again but for now…I just needed a break. That said…here is what I have gathered & put up for now.

BrotherPatriot, Thank you for your work, as well.

As to whether we are too late – well, I suppose time is relative. Light dispels darkness, so exposing the evil plans afoot is vital. Light purifies and heals, so I have no doubt that the elite will fail. However, while time to us can be a lifetime, or several generations, time as linear perception does not exist with God.

It is important for us to expose the workings of evil, but focusing on the darkness alone will only keep us attached to it and operating on the same level. It is also important for us to forge a new way. We must be and live the highest truth as we see it, striving always for excellence. We must work to clean up ourselves, our thinking, our understanding, so that we can be unhindered by old baggage as we promote revival.

Will we ever learn that, as long as evil exists, we must establish guardposts and be always vigilant? Because this whole mess is the result of apathy and overindulgence on our part. Liberty is always hard-won and at great cost, and is so easily forfeit. Until we learn to walk in righteousness without falling prey to the seduction of our senses, and until we value our children enough to train them to be sharp and vigilant also, the cycle of gain and loss will continue. Evil understands us much better than we understand it, and it never sleeps.

We WILL prevail. Believe it. And Godspeed.

      • JeffH

BrotherPatriot, as long as we continue to fight the good fight and get people to think about it, we still have a chance. There are so many on this website that are seeing the bigger picture and without Bob Livingston and his sidekicks providing this forum with their insight and knowledge it would be even tougher.

      • BrotherPatriot

Tears sprung to my eyes seeing both your responces. I more than appreciate it…it was like water to a thirsty man.

Also in my above post…I meant to say Anthony…not Andrew. My bad there. Trying to give credit to where credit it do…and there are many more also that I haven’t mentioned who’s posts have been awesome to read. Keep up the good work people.

Yep…I’m a family man and I worry for the future of the children of America. I don’t want to pass the buck…I want to help fix the problem even it’s just me learning the truth & trying to spread it through media means such as this or by word of mouth. Surprising how so many refuse to take the time to learn it. Such a shame. You are 100% correct, Kate8…it has been our apathy that things have reached this far. But also…we can’t forget it’s a planned attack and they lull us so sleep…so that said…it’s not Entirely our fault…we have been victims of the Virus. Now that I’m awake…I’m fricken angry at what they have done & willing pay whatever the cost to bring them to justice and spread the truth to our sleeping brethren.

        GOD Bless you all.

      • JeffH

BrotherPatriot, your passion shines like a bright light. I too will not be pushed around and I do believe in a strong offense. This is the forum I choose to exercise and voice my beliefs like so many other fine American patriots. I am prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice, whether the pen or the sword, to help recover Americas honor and dignity.

Keep up the good fight fellow patriots!

I do agree ! It is one of the best posts I have seen too. Awsome !

    • American Citizen

WE are living in scary times.

    • Bruce D.

I meet a lot of foreighners. They parot everything that is in their liberal press. Very little thinking going on outside the main newspapers. Europeans would like and share hflashman liberal bias.

      • http://?? Joe H.

        Bruce D,
Not all. I have met quite a few that would not agree with the liberal mindset! you should have traded posts with a gal called English Rose. She was as conservative as any here and she was from London! She was the one that told me about the process in English hospitals called “stacking” where they keep ambulance patients in amulances till the hospital is ready to see them. Thus when they are signed into the ER it shows a shorter wait time between sign in and treatment, showing a very efficient ER. I looked it up and found it to be true! She also told me about a nurse that had been firedfor telling about a system they use with the elderly that come in sick and in pain. They give them enough pain meds that all they do is sleepand therefore they show no improvement and literaly starve. the hospital finally pulls the plug on them saving the government a large sum of money on geriatrics!! Also looked up her source and found the newspaper story to be quite interesting, especially since that was right before the politicians here voted on Nobama care!!

      • Bruce D.

The people you are talking about do not like their health care system. That does not necessarily translate into political conservative. If most were political conservative in Europe they would not be socialized.

      • http://?? Joe H.

        Bruce D,
She also talked down her laws, Taxes, her liberal government, the crooked politicians and a lot of other things as well. She warned us about what was to come here if we didn’t change our corrupt and illegal government and president. Said we fought to free ourselves from a government like Englands and here we are, headed for one here!! she was definately a conservative, believe me. There are a few left there!!

The Progressive-Socialist Party has 2 Wings : RINO & Dimikrat, Both lead to the SAME Destination: Government Control of Your Life, Wealth, Property, and Children. There is a small faction of Republicans led by Sen. DeMint of SC fighting for control of the Republican Party in the US Senate in 2010. ” It may be too little, too late ” but We must refuse to surrender.
“Honor, justice, and humanity, forbid us tamely to surrender that freedom which we received from our gallant ancestors, and which our innocent posterity have a right to receive from us. We cannot endure the infamy and guilt of resigning succeeding generations to that wretchedness which inevitably awaits them if we basely entail hereditary bondage on them.” Thomas Jefferson

      • EddieW

It should be getting much more obvious now!!! The government is going to take the peoples 401K retirement monies to spend, and give them back some worthless bonds for them!!
They might have an interest rate of 3%…thought their 401K was probably 8 – 15%! Back in the late 30′s, Twenty dollars gold piece or paper monye would buy you a new suit, hat, shoes, and a great meal for two at the finest restaurants…If you kept the gold coin….it still will!!! At 1,200 dollars an ounce, plus the coin price of another 300 – 500.00 dollars. That twenty dollar bill stuck in a drawer back them…what will it buy? Suit? Shoes? Hat? even a good meal for 2?? Gold is not devalued…only paper money is!!

Not to mention that the courts have now ruled that Big Bro has the right and authority to GPS us without our knowlege or consent, thus paving the way for mandatory chipping…

      • dan az

        Kate8
when that time comes it really wont matter much its game on!

      • BigBadJohn

only way they can GPS you is with your cell phone – throw it away.

      • kate8

BBJ, Not true. The latest ruling by the courts is that law-enforcement may GPS your car, in the middle of the night, without your knowlege, and track your every move.

      • Granny Mae

Yes they surly did ! However if you can find that GPS you can get rid of it. Not that they won’t just put another one on and probably arrest you and fine you but if I know my husband , he will just do it again. Or find a way to jam it ~!

      • blv54

I couldn’t believe it when the court ruled in favor of the school in that laptop spying case where the school was spying on students at home, when a court says it’s fine to watch kids in there homes through a camera they aren’t even told is there you know it’s over, 20yrs ago people would have been enraged enough to mob that school over such an outragous thing, now nothing no one cares.

      • Granny Mae

        blv54

You are kidding me! Did they really find in favor of the school? My child would not be enrolled in that school another day! I still believe that the best way is to home school.

        EddieW,
The value of that 20 dollar bill is dependant on the condition of it. To a collector it could be worth a great deal in crisp uncirculated condition! But that would be the only way it would be worth much!!

EddieW; All has gone to hell, I have 50#s of rice to feed my family. John has 50 gals. of water and you have your Gold, quess who trades who for water to cook rice and who trades who for rice to feed their families and who has a lot less gold if any to feed his family.

      • Al Sieber

P L, I have a shotgun, handgun etc. I’ll end up with the food and the gold.

I am with you also, JeffH. I have felt that the people of the United States has been slipping away from our heritage, and that we are on a downhill slope. Let’s hope and pray that the people of this country, get back to the original values, comes to their senses, and stay on course to preserve what we have left. However, I am very pessimistic when I say this.

        Wayne,

This is the message that Glenn Beck has been trying to get across to everyone! You may not like his personality but you have to respect his determination to keep getting the message out. When they try to block him one way he just throws them a curve in another dirrection. This gathering was to basically show the powers that be that we the people do have a point of focus and we will gather in great numbers and we will be a force to be recond with ! Our voting so far in the primary’s is sending a message and it is beginning to get them on the run! Obama and his demons never expected to see the numbers that turned out and that was encouragement to those of us that couldn’t be there. Beck is trying to give us a point of rally so please try to understand how much he is giving. He deserves a lot of respect for that ~

      • JeffH

The O’man crew just didn’t think the people would push back and stand tall. SURPRISE!

we all need to come out from under the glenn beck spell, I liked what he was doing to untill I realized he’s just controlled opposition, he’s being paid millions to do what he’s doing, if the government didn’t like him for real he would have at the least been fired from fox by now, he said he hated 9/11 families, he said katrina victims were scumbags and I heard this tape just last nite of him saying this. on key important issues he turns on most people, like saying 9/11 was not an inside job and making fun of people who believe it was, denying fema camps are real when everyone now knows they are, being for banker bail outs and more taxes, I’ve also heard him say he hates poor people because they don’t create jobs, for such a christian person he sures hates a lot of helpless victims, hate to say it but he’s a pied piper leading people astray, no one gets as high up as he is if there really for the people he’s a plant and I don;t listen to him anymore.

        blv54,
I have listened to him since he only had his radio show here in Cleveland Ohio, about 10 years almost every day and I have never heard him say anything of the sort!!I have heard him cuss out Bush and Cheney as well as Nobummer and (say it ain’t so)Joe Biden!!! I have never heard him say a thing against the victims of katrina except to say that most of them in NO made themselves victims! when they tell you three days ahead to leave the city, you don’t just sit on your azz and complain, you git!! the only ones that were truly victims were the ones not able to walk any distance!!! I never heard him say a thing AGAINST the victims of the towers at all!!

      • JeffH

blv54, I think I’ll choose to not listen to you instead!

    • Jerry D

A few people have been telling the truth of which you speak for years. But no one listened. I fear that by the time enough people wake up and see what’s going on it will be too late. Great post!

      Jeff,
You are right on target, that is what I have been trying to say all along. But you say it so much better. They keep us divided, arguing about stupid stuff and not paying attention to the real problem, which is big business running our country to their advantage.

but I do not feel they are untouchable.

      • JeffH

Carole Howell, thanks, but I think you’re still caught up in corporatism. This goes way beyond corporations as some corporations are just another tool.

    • Claire

JeffH–”Banging your head against a wall” what true words. That is exactly what I feel I am doing! Good thoughtful post.

    • eddie47d

Good story Bob L. and even Jeff H.’s reply. Although a few tidbits were left out by Bob. Too many New World Order rants and numerous conspiracy theories coming from the right. Now there is a train load of propaganda and “word twisting”!

I may be way ahead of you by not believing all your darkness. Charles Manson has no credibility on any issue. I wouldn’t use him for or against any problem or issue and you shouldn’t either.

Must agree, you have a very good grasp on what is going on in this world. As I have for years, but don’t seem to be able to fight it.
I feel impotent against the powers that be.

Propaganda (1928)NOTE THE DATE AND HOW LONG WE HAVE BEEN CONTROLLED!!!

      Foreword: Organizing Chaos

The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country.
We are governed, our minds molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. This is a logical result of the way in which our democratic society is organized. Vast numbers of human beings must cooperate in this manner if they are to live together as a smoothly functioning society.
Our invisible governors are, in many cases, unaware of the identity of their fellow members in the inner cabinet.
They govern us by their qualities of natural leadership, their ability to supply needed ideas and by their key position in the social structure. Whatever attitude one chooses toward this condition, it remains a fact that in almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons – a trifling fraction of our hundred and twenty million – who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires that control the public mind, who harness old social forces and contrive new ways to bind and guide the world.
It is not usually realized how necessary these invisible governors are to the orderly functioning of our group life. In theory, every citizen may vote for whom he or she pleases. Our Constitution does not envisage political parties as part of the mechanism of government, and its framers seem not to have pictured to themselves the existence in our national politics of anything like the modern political machine. But the American voters soon found that without organization and direction, their individual votes, cast, perhaps, for dozens of hundreds of candidates, would produce nothing but confusion. Invisible government, in the shape of rudimentary political parties, arose almost overnight. Ever since then we have agreed, for the sake of simplicity and practicality, that party machines should narrow down the field of choice to two candidates, or at most three or four.
In theory, every citizen makes up his mind on public questions and matters of private conduct. In practice, if all men and women had to study for themselves the abstruse economic, political and ethical data involved in every question, they would find it impossible to come to a conclusion about anything. We have voluntarily agreed to let an invisible government sift the data and highlight the outstanding issue so that our field of choice shall be narrowed to practical proportions. From our leaders and the media they use to reach the public, we accept the evidence and the demarcation of issues bearing upon public question, from some ethical teacher, be it a minister, a favorite essayist, or merely prevailing opinion, we accept a standardized code of social conduct to which we conform most of the time.
In theory, everybody buys the best and cheapest commodities offered on the market. In practice, if everyone went around pricing, and chemically tasting before purchasing, the dozens of soaps or fabrics or brands of bread which are for sale, economic life would be hopelessly jammed. To avoid such confusion, society consents to have its choice narrowed to ideas and objects brought to its attention through propaganda of all kinds. There is consequently a vast and continuous effort going on to capture our minds in the interest of some policy or commodity or idea.
Some of the phenomena of this process are criticized – the manipulation of news, the inflation of personality, and the general ballyhoo by which politicians and commercial products and social ideas are brought to the consciousness of the masses. The instruments by which public opinion may be organized and focused may be misused, but such organization and focusing are necessary to orderly life.

Great Post JeffH, and so true__The followers of the so called Messiah/Obambi Regime, haven’t yet grasped the truth, that they are being used for nothing more than to aid to spread they’re propaganda poison. The facts remain, if this regime succeeds in breaking the Constitution, and we fall, the Progressive followers, will end up being slaves like the rest of us.
It’s sad that they’re beliefs are built within a house of straw, ours is built on a rock, the shield is Jesus.
