Free Enterprise Nation Celebrates First Birthday With Record Membership, Bestseller Book

The Free Enterprise Nation (FEN) has said wasteful public spending and ballooning budget deficits have contributed to a substantial growth in its membership, which it says is indicative of a tide of outrage sweeping the nation.
FEN was launched just last year as a non-partisan organization representing employees and businesses in the private sector, and it works to spread awareness on the disparities in pay, benefits and pensions between the public and private sectors.
Not only has its own membership reached thousands of corporate and individual members in this short period of time, but the organization points to millions more people joining Tea Party movements and other grassroots initiatives that oppose excessive and unsustainable spending, including lavish government salaries.
To mark its first anniversary, FEN has announced that a book by its founder and CEO James MacDougald, entitled Unsustainable: How Big Government, Taxes and Debt are Wrecking America, has reached a bestseller status, climbing to number 11 on Amazon’s Hot New Releases.
"Regardless of political affiliation, everyone must be aware of the cresting economic crisis looming over our nation," said MacDougald. "We can and must preserve American businesses and the people they employ. We have to rein in spending and unleash free enterprise."
