libertytrain–I agree with your words of wisdom and rationality. Bob and I were talking about the “hate” the other night. The hate that is going on right now is astounding. It was never this bad during the Bush eras. I have talked to my neighbors and they are as fed up with the hate propaganda as I am. They have said “who knows what the truth is anymore” and they are correct. I don’t believe anything I hear anymore. I think the propaganda may be backfiring for both parties. There are a number of people I know (my neighbors and co-workers included) that say they don’t even think they will vote. They are disgusted with both parties. I feel the same way at times. I am not being doom and gloom but it will be more of the same after November. Everything will remain in an uproar and nothing will be solved. I think it is past the point of no return. It will take a miracle worker to get America back of her feet, and I cannot think of any politician that can do the job because the parties will not work together. And this is what it will take to get things done. All they care about is “who is in charge.” Will there be more Democrats than Republicans or vice versa? This is their main goal and nothing else. Neither party has an answer to the problems at hand. They hardly speak about “what they would do if elected” it is always about backstabbing the other guy. Talk about childish behavior. America is up a creek without a paddle and all of us as Americans do not deserve this. All of us voted for the people we felt would be the correct person to do the job. And I will not blame the American people. I fault the politicians for taking all of us “for a ride.” The lies they all told. I have to agree with Homeboy on this one. Jesus was of the same divine essence as the Father which was why He was one with Him. Just as His disciples are to be one with him and the father yet we still have our own personalities and roles to fill.

Even though I am not a Catholic, I am a Lutheran. Of course, everyone knows Lutherans stem from the Catholic religion. One of my favorite prayers is “St. Francis of Assisi.” I find this prayer has a calming effect.

I offer an analogy, albeit using my limited human perspective, of our omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent, and infinite God. I will grant that belief in one God, who exists in three persons is extremely difficult, if not impossible, for a human mind to conceptualize. To the best of my knowledge, there has never been a human (other than the incarnate Christ) who truly understood the triune nature of God. I hope that this analogy, in some very small way, will be helpful.

Yes, but what does this mean for us, aren’t we just individuals?

The answer to that question is “perhaps not”. For further exploration let’s look at this verse:

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Thessalonians 5:23)

“This is the only place in the New Testament where the tripartite being of a person is implied. Yet in this passage, all three constitute a person in his or her entirety. The spirit (Gk. pneuma) enables a person to contact the divine Spirit and is that part of a person that the spirit quickens at the time of regeneration (John 3:6, Romans 8:16). The Greek word (psuche), translated soul means ‘life.’ The New Testament writers use this word to speak of a person’s personality or inward animating essence. Russell M. Grigg, of the Creation Science Foundation, defines man in this manner:

“Man is a three-fold being or tri-unity of body, soul, and spirit. Vegetation has body and unconscious life; animals have body and conscious life (Hebrew: nephesh, usually translated ‘soul’); man has body, conscious life (or soul, comprising in man the intellect or mind, emotions or sensibility, and the power of choice or will), and spirit (God-consciousness). Man is the immortal and unique image of God in all three aspects. (2)

What are those aspects and how do they relate to God?

God the Father (Soul): relates to our intellect, the very essence of our being.

God the Son (Body): relates to our incarnation, our physical being

God the Holy Spirit (Spirit): relates to awareness of, and our communion with God

We were patterned after God in our triune nature. Although we are not and never will be gods, it is quite humbling and very awe inspiring to know that our God, the God of all creation, made us and us alone “in His own image”.

Because of His triune nature, God uses both the singular and the plural interchangeably when referring to Himself. As I previously said, the full nature of God is far outside of my, your, or any human’s comprehension. I could attempt simplicity by saying the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are merely three aspects or personalities of a singular God. However, this would be quite inaccurate as these persons are far more distinct and separate, while remaining fully and completely one God.

Secondly, all angels are created beings who have never been and never will be gods. Jesus is not, nor ever was an angel. He is and always was fully God and then fully man when he became incarnate by the virgin birth enabled by the Holy Spirit. Lucifer is a fallen angel, as are 1/3 of the other angels, because he chose to imagine himself to be raised above God, his creator.

Thirdly, yes God (as the Son) created Adam, the first man, from the dust of the ground (body), and then blew the breath of life (soul) into him. Those are two of the three aspects of our triune nature. It is my belief that the third aspect (spirit) is only fully given to us when the Holy Spirit indwells us after we have been born again in Christ.

I know that I may never convince you of your misconceptions, but I strongly implore you to read God’s Word, not from the New World Translation, but from a complete and unexpurgated translation such as the King James, New King James, New American Standard, New International, etc.

Quoting John 14, verse 6; Jesus said, “I AM the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” I will be praying that He will open your eyes and convict you of His true identity and nature and that you will accept the real Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Your eternity depends upon this!

Finally, I am fully resolved, comfortable, and most importantly, unshakeable in my relationship with Christ and I will never be convinced nor swayed… even when talking face to face on my front porch.

Briefly, in the first 20 verses of Ezekiel chapter 18, God is saying that the father is judged for his sins and the son is judged for his sins, but the son is not judged for the father’s sins nor vice-versa. In verse 21, God says that if a man turns from his sins (repents), then his sins will be forgotten. In the New Testament we are given the problem that separates us from God and His gracious solution:

1. There is none righteous, no, not one; There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. (Romans 3:10)

2. for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
(Romans 3:23)

3. the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

4. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

To answer your final question: That very well may happen, however, just because the world’s “religions” may be destroyed does not mean that faith in Christ will cease. “Religion” and faith are not necessarily one and the same. As for myself, I don’t plan to be here when that occurs.

In the past, Volcker has also chaired the Council on Foreign Relations, a foreign policy think-tank, and the Trilateral Commission, an organization founded in 1973 by Zbigniew Brzezinski and David Rockefeller. Both organizations have published papers suggesting the need for world governance, world currency, and a centralized world bank.

Volcker, Geithner, and Bernanke were all in positions where they were partially, perhaps wholly, responsible for creating a financial crisis. Why are they all now in positions where they are tasked with getting us out of a financial crisis they helped create? Are we being set up to accept world governance and a world currency?

From what I have found seemless is more the case than not. Let me be clear I started working on the backround for a book I have been working on about five years ago. Learning from mistakes of the past has brought about what can only be noted as seemless work.

I don’t know too much about all of this because I haven’t had much time to investigate, but I do trust my instincts and when it comes to Obama or the CIA my instincts are like live wires giving me a jolt all the time. Something is not right with any of this but I sure can’t put my finger on it.
