Muslim Organization Criticizes Tea Party Speaker ChoiceThe Tea Party movement’s conflict with minorities appears to be deepening as the grassroots organization came under fire from a Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization for booking a speaker for an upcoming event whom it calls “extremist” and “anti-Islam.”

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), which is based in Washington, D.C., has complained that the Emerald Coast Tea Party Patriots have invited Brigitte Gabriel to deliver the keynote speech at the organization’s U.S. Constitution Freedom Rally in Florida on August 21.

Gabriel is an author and journalist who founded the American Congress for Truth and ACT for America, and has expressed her belief that Islam is contributing to keeping Arab societies backwards. She is also known for saying that Muslims should be barred from holding public office.

CAIR national communications director Ibrahim Hooper said that "now is the time for Tea Party leaders to clearly demonstrate that their movement will not allow itself to be associated with bigotry of any kind, including Islamophobia.”

He also called on political candidates—including GOP Senate candidate Marco Rubio—who are expected to attend the event to boycott it unless Gabriel is dis-invited.ADNFCR-1961-ID-19901265-ADNFCR

    the woman that is going to speak at the tea party event bidget is a very brave and good woman. she was a lebonese christian who at age 7 had her family killed by invading muslims in lebanon. at that time lebanon was almost 100% christian and are now about 10%. she started the org. called act for america to warn americans of the jahad the muslims are trying to pull off on us just like they did in lebanon. i joind last month. she has joined forces with veteran defenders for america which i also belong. its orgs like these and american patriots that are going to save our country. i urge everyone to look into these groups i think you will like what you see. maj. general paul vallely started veterans for the defence of america. all vets check it out.

      As an American and a student of history I would like to point out that Democracy is a fragile thing. If one studies 20th century history — and that’s not that long ago — you will notice that in post WWI Germany a Democracy was established. But it was established among a people who knew nothing of Democracy and were used to having kings and overlords telling them what to do. A concept of Democracy was alien to them and their (for want of a better word) culture. But Hitler was smart enough to realize what was happening and during the elections in which he was elected Chancellor he won the vote — of a people to whom Democracy was alien — and as soon as the election was over he declared himself “Der Fuhrer”. In essence, the Dictator. That’s what Germans were used to. Big Brother telling them what to do and how to do it. He even provided them with scapegoats so that they could blame their own deficiencies on someone else, declaring: “We didn’t LOSE the war, we were BETRAYED!” At the time you were free to fill in the blank space as to who the betrayer was –it was the Jews, the Catholics, the Slavic peoples, the West, the East and so on.

      In a manner of speaking now, we are facing the same thing. Obama is looking for a scapegoat. “It’s Wall Street’s fault; it’s George Bush’s fault; it’s the fault of the weather; it’s British Petroleum’s fault” and so on.

      Looking for scapegoats is not a solution, it’s a diversion. At a time when people are out of work (myself included) I don’t want a diversion and I don’t want an excuse.

      But what Hitler did, and what I see happening now, is an attempt at using Democratic ideals to overthrow Democracy just as Hitler did in post-war Germany. But in this case, there’s a difference: Americans are not used to being governed from the top down as were the Germans, we are used to being governed from the bottom up.

      IT IS “WE THE PEOPLE” who rule, NOT AN IMPERIAL PRESIDENCY!

Apparently CAIR is under the impression that the right to Freedom of Speech does not apply to anyone but themselves.     Brigitte Gabriel is a hero! She is a Christian woman who suffered terribly under the “gentle ministries” of Islamic murderers in her native land of Lebanon. BECAUSE SHE IS A CHRISTIAN and for no other reason. Muslims hate her because she is brave enough to tell her story and her book “Because They Hate” is a must read for anyone who wants to know the truth about the alleged “religion of peace”. She lived for years with her parents in terror because of what the Muslims did to her homeland. The fact that CAIR, which is a totally biased organization which screams discrimination if anyone dares to say a negative word about Islam regardless of how ineffectual, has no problem with Muslims murdering, pillaging and raping those who dare to refuse to accept their form of insanity.

      I’m not a fan of the Muslim religion and some of their habits leave me cold. Bridgette Gabriel may have a good message to give or she could be another loosed mouth extremist bringing negativity to the Tea Party. Didn’t the Tea Party get enough of that last month with Mark Williams (a chairman who stepped down). He said “blacks would rather be slaves than do real work” and a few other comments.

        There is another converted Muslim Ergun Carter,who was president of Theoligy at Liberty University. He made claims he was brought up by Muslim Jihadists and trained to kill Americans. He went around on speaking engagements (Jihad to Jesus). Most of his stories turned out to be bogus and Liberty University bought into this line hook and sinker. We all want to hear certain things from people and Liberty U. couldn’t resist his pounding on the Muslim religion. Ergun also claimed he was born in Turkey but was really born in Ohio. Liberty took several months to demote him and will be forced out in 2011.

        After Japan openly attacked us at Pearl Harbor we rounded up the Japanese in the U.S and held them in camps.

        How many encounters did you have with the Mafia? did they burn down the world trade center or the Chrysler building? did they try and make you join the Mafia? did they do anything that directly affected you?         CLAIM: They want a “living wage” to be paid to EVERY working person.
        RESULT: those on the lower end of the skill-set scale become cronicly unemployed and unemployable because forcing employers to pay higher wages than the work calls for results in them seeking higher skilled workers to balance out the cost of employing someone with the level of productivity.

      I agree. Aside from that, lies in the name of Islam are perfectly acceptable. So the imam who wants to build the monstous mosque at the site of the World Trade Center where thousands of Americans and other nationals were murdered, cheerfully declared that he “does not take contributions from terrorists or criminals”. Fine, right? No. Because this is double talk. According to Islamic theology, anyone who does not embrace Islam is, by definition, a criminal because they were offered the opportunity to become Muslim and refused. Thus everyone and anyone who is non-Muslim is, by definition under Islamic theology, guilty of a crime and therefore fair game. So Imam Rauf, is actually practicing something called Takkiyah — lying for the benefit of Islam.

      That monstrosity which these people plan to erect is an insult and an affront to all the families who lost loved ones, including the extended families, all New Yorkers who lived through this horror of a sneak attack on September 11., 2001, all Americans across this nation from sea to shining sea, and all non-Muslims around the globe whom the Muslims seek to either convert by force or otherwise, and all people with a love of life instead of death.

        I agree. The mosque in New York is a face slap for all Americans. If you read back in history you find that the Muslims have taken every Christian holy place in the middle east for centuries and when they conquered these people they took their churches and places of holy history and built mosques over the top of them. One of the most famous is the dome of the rock on top of the temple in Jeruslem. Most all of the holy places are now mosques. It is their way of saying we are the conquerers, and bringing disgrace to Christians ! They are laughing at us and bragging among themselves that they have done it to us again ! If this is allowed to happen in New York it should suffer the same result as the Twin Towers ! What goes up must come down !

      Not only that, but if a Muslim girl is raped by anyone including her father, brothers, cousins, whoever, she us summarily murdered to save the “honor” of the family. So the girl is victimized twice, once by the perpetrator who is usually either not caught, or if caught, gets a slap on the wrist and is let go to rape again. But the girl is murdered by her own family in the name of “honor”. What kind of honor does Islam espouse if the victim is punished and the perpetrator goes free? This is a twist theology at best.     Where exactly n the emerald coast of FLORIDA is the event being held? It is a small drive from Miami. Now that I know that CAIR is firmly against this, I must attend to help swell the ranks. CAIR has been successful so far in silencing anyone it deems a threat to its nefarious islamization agenda including disinviting Franklin Graham from a speech to our Armed forces.
    If we don’t take a stand now, we’ll lose our country for ever. God Bless us all – whites, blacks, browns, yellows and in between; we are all AMERICANS FIRST!

      I don’t like Franklin Graham at all, nor do I respect him, but this “disinvitation” crap on the part of CAIR must be stopped, and those CAIR jerks either stripped of whatever citizenship they think they have, all their assets, and then dumped in the middle of the Sahara. That’s all they’re worth!
      I was very disappointed that Graham was “disinvited,” because it was NONE of CAIR’s business! They don’t respect our laws, they don’t respect our armed forces, and they don’t respect us! Therefore, where’s the problem? Kick them out NOW!

    Muslims want to control the world. That means taking away our freedom of speech, religion and gathering as groups. It would appear to me that the hate speech is coming from many sources, but I have not heard it from the right, the tea party folks, or the true Christians. I HAVE heard it from those who oppose the right, the Christians, and the tea party folks. And it is a terrible thing when it comes even from the White House and all the while accusing us of indulging in it. This is just another example of the pressure that is being put on our free society to stop speaking our minds, using our influence, and standing for THE TRUTH. Well, we will not be cowards.

      Most people do not go by what the TV tells them, they research and read up on the candidates before they vote, in Obamas case he didn’t lie, if you went in to his website he had all future taxes laid out there for anyone to see and he had his reparations bill and the UN agenda, anyone who went in there could see it, if you went ot his own website you would have seen a poster of the black panthers and they and LaRaza wqere big supporters, anyone who voted for him deserves what they get, I don’t deserve it though. I didn’t swoon every time the little pinhead came on the screen, it was more like mass hypnosis, I saw his inaugeration speech with David Rockefeller standing behind him on the stage clapping his fool head off, and I also knew he was a member of the CFR but they have to step down before running for office, they usually go back after they have finished their presidency. All of these things kept me from voting for him. I didn’t give a hoot what Fox news said because Rupert Murdoch is a membeer of the CFR and he owns Fox news along with an Arabian Prince so they don’t pull any weight with me. It makes you wonder though how many people really knew anything about this Rock star President. He was my Senator here in Chicago and I never saw him or heard him until he was campaigning , he voted “present” more then he did yes or no. He has also divided the country, it will never be the same, even after he is gone. He brought “change” alright.

Barry has a charisma about him and garnered votes in that manner. People were ready for a change. President Bush had to deal with a Democratic congress for this last two years in office. It’s no wonder things were looking bad by the end of his term! If the voting public really did their homework, we would probably find we will only be voting for the lesser of two evils. I do believe that Barry stole the nomination from Hillary. ACORN and the black panthers probably had a lot do with it, too. At least if Hillary was president, she is an American. This we wouldn’t have to doubt!

An example is the Carbon Tax…this is a really big one for the elists in Washington. It will put billions into their personal pockets. If a company practically shuts down it’s production and stays within limits of emissions, it is okay, but a company who produces more emissions will be punished, but they can buy Carbon Credits…they don’t have to change their production, just purchase credits. This will be an Exchange Commission which will be privately held and operated privately. The Exchange will make billions and who do you think will be on the Board of this Exhchange…you guessed it, Al Gore and Kerry and others. It is all about the money…they care nothing about America…only themselves.

      What in the world makes you think all of us are afraid? I’m not afraid I’m ticked off ! I am angry that people will come to this country because they like the freedom we have and then as soon as they get here they want to turn it into the place they just left ! In that case GO HOME ! I don’t just base my opinions of Islam on a certain book that I have read likw the Koran but also the books written by so many people that have lived that life and escaped to come here and tell their story. It makes me sick to read about the treatment of women in that way of life. It is true that they have no respect for women and in fact consider their livestock of more importance than their women. Their beliefs in ridding the world of what they call infidels. I never wanted to rid the world of them in all my life until the last 15 or so years. I couldn’t understand what all the talk was about. Then I had some conversations with a boss of mine who had spent years in Saudi and that led me to read some books written by some reporters inbedded in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Then I read some books written by women that had escaped from the middle east, then I read the Koran and finally I correspond with a Priest from the Sudan. Boy, have I made a rash judgment? I don’t think so. Get the book The Devil comes on horseback ! Just unbelievable ! Since that time I have paid a lot of attention to the news and not just Fox, but everything I can get through the internet, radio and news papers and people. No I’m not scared I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it any more ! I know there are good people from the Muslim faith but I assure you that they are out numbered by Muslims sailing below the radar that won’t do the dirty work themselves but they sure will encourage and financially support other Muslims to do the work for them. There were three Muslim men that claimed they were converted to Christianity and they even wrote a book about it. They appeared on one of the christian tv networks and were interviewd by one of the Hosts. I spotted them as frauds right off the bat and I know for sure most other people in the audience and the host and the viewing audience knew they were frauds too. Only a smug Muslim so full of themselves would think they could get away with such a thing. Oh they spouted the words praise the Lord often enough but that does not make a Christian. Their entire attitude was wrong. Their entire physical demeaner was wrong. When you have truly found God it shows from the inside out and there is no mistaking it. These guys didn’t have it. I was so disgusted to think these guys even thought christianity was so shallow that they could fake it. The Lord showed them for what they really were ! Am I scared? Not on your life but I sure am ticked off and probably going to stay this way for a while. Do I believe this country is in a lot of trouble? You bet ! Will I vote come election time YES and so should you, even if your vote cancels mine ! Fox news doesn’t control my every thought but they do think along my lines. Will I vote straight republican ? Probably not. I never have. I vote for who I think is the best for the job. I do know there are several in my state that will not ever get my vote ever again ! I have also been keeping track of them and their voting record and had personal talks with them. When they tell me they don’t actually believe in something but they voted for it anyway that tells me they were buying votes. Not my kind of politician !

I have had some similar experiences as you in knowing some of the people coming back from the Middle East Saudi as well as Iraq and reading books by those who have escaped Islam, and hearing Brigitte Gabriel speak, then studying the Qur’an.
        They are trying to attack the TEA Party movement now by saying they are all older people. I say YES, they are the ones who know what the United States really stands for. They are the ones who have known true freedom and are watching it being taken away from us. They are the ones with some good old fashioned common sense. They are also the ones who have had loved ones lay down their lives for this country.
        I say HOORAY for the TEA PARTY.

Once again they are taken out of context ( Gee, does that sound familiar ) when compared to the entire bible. Christians believe in the New Testament as the Word of Christ which supercedes the Old Testament.Christ tells us that he comes to not only up hold the laws of God, but to explain and expand them further. Christ preaches nothing but love and forgiveness, not murder and unequal treatment. This action by CAIR is nothing but an extension of the racial issue that has suddenly cropped up from many different attacks against the Tea Party. Do you think that this might be an orchestrated, pre election campaign that has its roots within the DNC or one of its shadow organizations such as Standup for America. Uhmmm, Maybe even the administration. This is very similar to the method used by the Obama campaign against McCain, when he complained of racial remarks against him for questioning his agenda and attacked a McCain supporter, Pastor Hagee, as being a racist and anti semetic. He is the largest supporter of Israel and the Jewish people in the Christuian faith. We need to stand up strong with the Tea Party, our constitution and for our Christian faith against these progressive attacks. We can’t cave in as McCain did.
        By the way, if a boycott is supported by the administration or any part of it…..wouldn’t that be as much of a violation of the separation of church and state as the small group of Christians praying silently next to the Supreme Court steps that were told to move. I was raised as a Christian and don’t know a lot about Islam. When I read a about Islam I find that there are some good things in the doctrine and some bad things – the same as an objective reader of the Christian Bible would find.

However, I gleaned from this article that the CAIR people are expecting their voice to be heard and something to be done about it. They have contacted people in Washington and have asked for a boycott against this Tea Party. I believe this crosses a line. They cannot expect that they should make demands or expect someone in government to intervene on their behalf all because someone is daring enough to speak the truth about their religion.

Also, look at all the little cults that have branched off the largest Protestant groups: The snake handlers of Georgia, some of the fundamentalist groups of the mid-south, the funeral protestors—all have come from the basic Baptist Church beliefs, and, anyone who doesn’t believe that way, or one of those ways, is attacked!         Lee, I am sorry that you don’t have any freedoms here to practice your religion. I wasn’t aware that you were writing from prison. We all are harrassed by others who don’t believe like we do. I am a Christian and have been told I must stay out of politics. Even on this site people put down my Lord and me for loving Him. But we are still free to serve who or what we desire, or none at all.

        There are many countries that do not have any type of religious freedoms as they are killed, or attacked physically and hurt badly. They can’t work or buy food if they aren’t a certain religion.
        Just because we are harrassed doesn’t mean we don’t have the freedom to honor our own choices.

        Hey Dave, I know plenty of Muslims. I worked for Muslims for the last six years. They keep moving “illegals” from Yemen and elsewhere all throughout the USA in the businesses they own from NYC to North Carolina about every 4-6 months. They don’t have visas or even a drivers liscence. They personally tell me the only reason they hire an American is to put up a good front for the public. They hired me because I am honest with their money at the store. Everything is so secretive with them and they are only here to make money off American Citizens. As much as they disagree with “Capitalism” and “The West”
        they sure seem to like living here and taking advantage of the West’s Capital. They go to American Colleges, they own half of the gas stations and hotel/motel industry here in America. NY and Michagan State are considering enacting state Holidays for Muslims. Detroit
        Michigan has a “Call to Prayer” going out over the City each day. Yet, they complain about OUR religious rights and their goal is to convert ALL to Islam. They are told to breed and have at least 7 children so they can win America and the West simply by reproduction.
        I think they need to go to their respective homes and live their Islamic lifestyle there. Leave America Alone. The WTC Ground Zero site may (if that Traitor Mayor Bloomberg has his way) be the site of a Mega Mosque. All I know is that there is alot of scary stuff happening and I also believe that our country’s current administration has ulterior motives.         Carl Paladino, a Republican candidate for Governor of New York, has come out against the Islamic supremacist mega-mosque at Ground Zero.

        “As Governor,” Paladino said Wednesday in a radio ad, “I will use the power of eminent domain to stop this mosque and make the site a war memorial instead of a monument to those who attacked our country.”

        I like this guy. I really like this guy. If the Supreme Court could rule, in the notorious 2005 decision Kelo v. City of New London, that the government could seize private property for a private developer and then never develop the property, surely Americans should be able to use eminent domain to designate the Burlington Coat Factory building a war memorial.

        That building is a war memorial since part of one of the 9/11 airplanes crashed into it, causing severe damage. That makes the building a war memorial, no less than Gettysburg or Pearl Harbor. There should be no mosque there, and nothing there but a memorial to the people that America lost to that heinous Islamic jihad attack on September 11, 2001.

        Instead of a mega-mosque at Ground Zero, we should build on that site a museum dedicated to the 9/11 victims. That will give us the opportunity to redress yet another insult: the current plan for a 9/11 museum is several floors underground, like a dungeon. In contrast, the plan for the “Islamic center” at the Burlington Coat Factory site calls for the mosque to be on the top floor of a thirteen- or fifteen-story building, looking down triumphantly on the burial ground of Ground Zero.

        I don’t think so.

        The Burlington Coat Factory building must be designated a war memorial, a historic landmark. It is part of American history. To do anything less would be sacrilege, let alone build a 15-story mosque. And so far only Carl Paladino has the guts to say so. Three thousand good and decent Americans did not die in vain on September 11, 2001. And we have not forgotten them, even if Andrew Cuomo, Mayor Bloomberg and the rest of the New York political establishment have. The fact that they ignore the historical significance of the building is outrageous, and disrespects the victims of 9/11.

        “I’ve been driving land-use issues for 40 years,” says Paladino, “and I understand the full powers of the governor. If the ACLU or anyone else wants to challenge me in court, I’m ready for the fight.”

        I like his moxie. Not surprisingly, his Democrat opponent Andrew Cuomo is for the mosque. Paladino explains: “Andrew Cuomo supports the mosque. He says it is about religious freedom and he says the mosque construction should proceed.”

        Didn’t New York suffer enough under Cuomo statism during the gubernatorial reign of Andrew’s father Mario Cuomo? Enough with these political dynasties. Paladino knows that the issue of the Ground Zero mega-mosque isn’t about religious freedom at all: “I say it is disrespectful to the thousands who died on 9-11 and their families, insulting to the thousands of troops who’ve been killed or injured in the ensuing wars and an affront to American people. And it must be stopped.”

        Paladino explains why it should be stopped, too. Ground Zero mosque imam Feisal Abdul Rauf is an open proponent of Sharia, Islamic law, a system that denies free speech and the legal equality of all people. Paladino knows what Sharia, Islamic law, involves — and the implications of Rauf’s open support for Sharia. Paladino said: “There is little to no democracy in the Middle East other than Israel. The Islamic fundamentalists are Fascists — women have limited rights, there is no free speech or freedom of expression, and citizens are subject to the often barbaric Sharia Law. I oppose a mosque near the site of Ground Zero, not because of race, but because of the ideology of the Islamic fundamentalists.”

        Do you really want that ideology taught at a mega-mosque in lower Manhattan? If this mosque is built, it will be a lasting blemish on the record of Mayor Bloomberg and all the other politicians who supported it. History will judge them harshly. Very harshly.

        When was the last time you heard a politician talking like Carl Paladino? Outside of Sarah Palin, that is.

        Let’s elect real people who understand real problems, and are unafraid to address real issues. Paladino for Governor.
