No secrets, at least not for you.

The Obama administration is backing legislation that would require United States businesses to provide to the government data about employee pay as it relates to sex, race and national origin of employees.

It’s not enough that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) already has all your work data. Now other government departments want to snoop deeper into your life. Under the guise of trying to ensure pay equity for women and minorities, Obama wants to have even more of your information.

In addition to giving the Federal government more data to mine about its citizens, this legislation puts more onerous regulations on businesses at a time when businesses need a break. This is further evidence the current administration is no friend to business or the American people.

Even more amazing is this comes from a man who won’t release a valid copy of birth certificate—not a certificate of live birth that anyone could obtain in Hawaii but a real birth certificate that names the delivering physician and can be used as an official document—his passport records or his college transcripts.

No secrets… Obama excepted.

How much MORE crap am I going to have to do BEFORE I ever sell a farkin’ thing?

Last year I was hit with mandatory changes to my 401k plan which has tripled my administrative costs for ONE employee.

This year is my second year of 35% increase in health insurance.

Last year my 1 employee company was visited by the EPA and I had to install new filters on the FAUCETS.

Next year I’m going to have to go out and get W9s from EVERY customer and vendor I deal with AND then file 1099s at year end for my purchases from Office Depot and Costco.

I wish I was surprised, but once I saw the truth – the truth that all these laws are NOT for our protection, security, safety or fairness, but to GROW the government and crush every non-mega-national business into the ground and gift our jobs, money and business to the campaign contributors.

I pray enough of my fellow countrymen will wake up. I know they won’t, the sheep never do, which explains Venezuela, Zimbabwe, Argentina and Hitler.

I’m just about done with it. I sat down and figured out the other day that if I divorce my hub, get government housing, go on government health care and get government food stamps I could double my standard of living and return to college.

So, I wonder if the few enlightened Romans felt as discouraged as I do?

I can so relate to you. I am sick of it and am thinking about shutting down. I can’t seem to get ahead with all the crap that is coming at me. Paperwork, regulations, taxes, health insurance, etc. Have had to let one employee go and will probably loose one more after I pay to have someone figure out the new taxes and health insurance. If they wanted to create jobs, they are certainly not doing it by more taxes, regulations and now record keeping.

I am looking into dual citizenship and hope to find somewhere where I can make a decent living. I think, however, that they are planning on freezing assets from going out of the country. Freedom seems to be gone in a flash with this group of idiots in charge of the government.

Truth Eludes Some

Hi folks:
Can’t find much inaccurate among these comments. Been pretty much everywhere: civil rights worker, soldier, cop, crime analyst, intel officer, homeland security LE instructor, inner-city teacher, gang counselor, and a daughter murdered by an illegal alient. I’m all about reason, and, interestingly, my rational mind has taken me to a conclusion I once thought purely hypothetical: If, in November, American voters have not awakened fully to throw out the majority of leftists running, then it will be time to at least begin a discussion regarding full autonomy for the portion of the country not willing to kowtow to the socialist thugocracy…that is, secession discussion, probably in the form of an emerging international movement generally known as “economic zones”. Take, probably, at least 30 states that want out of the tentacles of the current “administration”, and form economic alliances that would reject current gov’t heavyhanded oversight. Human nature tells us that, next to the situation you want, the best place to be (though its the dark before the light) is to have the opposite, in its worst terms. That is, if you don’t have the traditional America and small gov’t you want, have the exact polar opposite to wake up the population…ONLY, in this case, there is REAL and, perhaps, PERMANENT damage being done to the country, so the REaction has to take place quickly. IF too many elections are stolen (ACORN and the loser Black Panthers will be meddling, count on it) by the left, it will require an immediate reaction, including civil disobedience and assertive self-defense. I say this w/o an ounce of emotion; for these older, calmer eyes, we are close to much more serious confrontation. I live in Texas and there is certainly talk about getting out from under the burdensome federal bureaucracy and going our own way. We also know that the federal government will come after us with a vengeance if we stand alone. We have a tight election for governor going and the Democrat is from Houston and has turned that city into a sanctuary so that about sums up his plans for the state. I worry that there are enough uneducated voters in Dallas/Ft Worth/Houston to carry him. It makes me sick because Texas has been rocking right along during all this financial crap. If he wins I fear that businesses will end up leaving the state, including mine if it’s still a viable business after our current government gets through with it.

What is currently happening, with specific regards to obamas assult on Jan Brewer and the people of Arizona, seems to me to be analogous to the situation of 1774!

Just decide that all political candidates will get a fixed amount, a few million I don’t know exactly how much, to set up office, set up a website, and pay for a SMALL amount of air time. No campaign will start before two months before the actual election. Meanwhile, it would be absolutely illegal for anybody, any corporation, or any union or PAC of any kind to give even a nickle to any candidate at any level.

I was a commiteeman in my community and I attended meet the candidate rallies. I asked questions about thier stand on major issues like 2nd amendment, taxes, perks,and whatever else I felt was important. Usually I get very vague answers and then I refuse to support thier campaign. Rarely are there more than a few interested voters present. Voter apathy is the problem. Most people vote the party line without knowing who they are voting for. They are good party puppets. Atttend the rallies and ask the important questions. Remember what they said come the next election, and if they lied, Punish them. Record thier answers if your memory is not precise as a liar will always deny what he said as a misquote.

Obama and his socialist Democrats have their feet on the throats of the American people, and it is getting worse every day. I think they are very worried about the Nov. elections, and they are going to try to cram everything possible into law, even though the Cap and Tax seems to be dead. Even some of the Democrats are balking. This is against the law to collect this information, but Obama doesn’t care about enforcing laws. Think immigration!

One thing that many of the citizens may not know is that in the health care bill is a 3.8% tax on every real estate transaction effective in 2012. In other words, if you sell your home you will owe the government 3.8% of the selling price, which could be a substantial amount. This is a cruel tax and will help destroy the housing industry when it is trying to come out of the worst downturn ever, in part caused by the government. So, if you pay a 6% commission, 3.8% to Obama, and a few more percents in transfer taxes, etc., you could be looking at 10-12% loss. In many cases, this could mean a loss on your property and could affect your future purchase. Our homes have always been our castles, and now the government is stepping in to take a part of that away. If you plan to sell your home, do it before 2012, but we must protest this robbery. I guess this is what Nancy Pelosi meant when she said we must pass this bill so that we can find out what’s in it. Well, we are finding out, and we don’t like it one bit. Throw out the bums in 2010.

I encourage everyone to make sure you keep a diary. These are times that will need to be studied in the future, so that others will know the TRUTHS about what happened in our country. The victors always write the history books, so the truths may not be told. As a student and lover of history, I know the truths about the past, for example the Civil War, can only be found in newspaper articles, letters and diaries of people from that time. The history books lie. So, keep a diary so that your grandchildren, and their grandchildren, will know the truth about what happened. This is going to be really bad. And I think it will began to get worse on August 28, and boil to a revolution after the November elections.

Texas supplies a great majority of books that schools across the country use. I was very interested in a recent debate about history books. Seems the left wanted Obama included in the history books and the others contended that he was not yet “history”. They also wanted more socialist things put in and, of course, the right wanted more conservative things put in.

My question at the time was – Hmmmmmm…. isn’t history history? I guess it depends on your political views when you author the books. I know that most teachers and are for socialism and Obama actually carried a lot of the educator’s votes, but I cannot fathom and educator teaching an untruth.

Meteorlady, if you want details concerning public education’s failure and what happened, talk to retired teachers and ex-teachers who got burnt out while trying to compensate for material that should be burned or converted to toilet paper.
Teachers have no reason to get involved with a union. Unions are a curse to education (public, or otherwise). Many parents will realize too late that homeschooling, private schools and (temporarily) church schools will deprive Uncle Scam of the unholy right to indoctrinate and dumb-down kids.

I found a book at a flea market ( The Case Against Congress) writen by Drew Pearson and Jack Anderson(copyright 1968) which describes the greed and corruption on capital hill. “They name names, dates, places, and numbers as they disclose the shame of capital hill.” I found it to be very interesting reading. LBJ, Tom Dodd, and a host of others are exposed for what they really are, self serving, greedy pigs feeding at the public trough. If you can find it, I would encourage every one to check it out.

Try another book written way back – Don’t Blame Metro. It’s truly revealing what happens at the University of Chicago. There was also a book written by someone in the CIA about the New World Order – can’t remember what the name was but it was written back before or during Bush, Sr.’s term in office.

The proclivity”of Congress (and of its representatives, individually)is to construct an “us vs them” power base.

Individual Congress and Senate representatives represent us only when first they run for office – the second term, they represent only themselves (they’ve legislated that lying during their runs for office is legal and expected; they’ve voted their own pay increases; they’ve exempted themselves from the Social Security, the health care reforms that apply to the rest of out population; they’ve given themselves full pay for life after a single term in office, etc, etc ad naseum…

This suggests two additional Constitutional Amendments: First, that the Congress shall pass no law that applies to themselves that doesn’t equally apply to the citizens of the USA. Second, that Congress shall pass no law that applies to the citizens of the USA that does not equally apply to themselves.

Only in this way can we eliminate the excesses that so eloquently define the United States Congress. Vote ‘em out… the experience they cite as the reason to protecting incumbency and that leads to their having placed our economy in the peril in which we find ourselves can not be exceeded by the bungling of the first-term representatives we bring in!

You are so right. We own a small farm and receive a newsletter from the USDA quarterly. Our last newsletter had a very disturbing article. It was explaining some government loans that were available, but specifically stated that WHITE MEN were not eligible because they were not SOCIALLY DISADVANTAGED. I was shocked, but I make sure that I show that article to HUNDREDS of white men a week, so they will know that the in the land of the free and brave, that WHITE MEN are the only people who are allowed to be LEGALLY DISCRIMINATED AGAINST.
We, the tax paying hard working, have had our tax dollars TAKEN from us by force from our Federal Government. They have used our money to provide FREE COLLEGE EDUCATION for “minorities”, foreigners, terrorist, everyone except THE WORKING CLASS people’s children. WE can’t afford to send our children to college, so in the future, OUR children will work for ALL THESE EDUCATED CHILDREN. That is the future we have provided for OUR CHILDREN. Joyce, can you post that letter somewhere or do you think the USDA has it available on their website? This would radically change yet another perception that this pariah in the Oval Office has any intention of bringing Americans togehter. Our problems are directly linked to the government, the federal gov’t specifically, at all levels. This is not a recent event, but since it’s inception and those who are termites chewing at the very foundation of American society and it’s principles. The census was supposed to open up the doors to all of our information, but that didn’t work out so well. So, now the *feral* gov’t tries another tactic to divide us with another wedge. Non-Compliance and Defiance are the greatest tools of preventing this tyranny from continuing it’s spread through the very fabric of our nation. We outnumber all of those idiots wishing to deprive you of Liberty and Freedom. There is no such thing as “Color blind”. There never will be. Only when people began traveling did the color difference began. Remember, blacks use to live in Africa, where everyone was black. Europeans lived in Europe where everyone was white. Asian lived in Asia, etc. Indians lived in America. Now, everyone lives everywhere, and when you put that many different nationalities and religions together and expect everyone to “just get along”, well that will not happen. There are too many differences. You have to wonder why God had all these different nationalities separated to start with. The bible teaches us to use nature as lessons. Well, there are millions of different types of birds. They all live in the trees together, they eat side by side and live in harmony. But when it comes to mating, you never see a cardinal with a sparrow, or a blue jay with a dove. With humans now, they creating children that have no race, no recognizable traits.

We, the United States, have come a long way since 1776. All young, human races/nationalities have never seen Ireland, Germany, Africia, China, Japan…. America is the “Melting Pot,” remember. After Martin Luther King, Jr., I thought there would be more unity and that has happened to a great extent. We get rebel rousers from time to time. Those who want to “fight” for something. Half of them have never stepped foot on their great great grandfather’s soil. What does bother me today are the Muslims. Knowing their agenda and learning about their religion(?) tells me that we have a major problem blooming here in the United States. Now, with the acceptance of another Obama cronie into the Supereme Court system, we are headed for more problems than we ever dreamed about; Amnesty for illegals after Obama shoots down Arizona’s new security laws and all States that have followed Arizona’s lead; More unemployment compensation for those without jobs – where is that money coming from? yep. China, meanwhile the illegal Mexican force seem to have jobs. But, now, Big Government wants all data on all people in the name of discouraging illegal workers? I think not; Obama loaning Brazil 2 billion of our tax dollars for off-shore oil drilling and all oil goes to China – what does United States get out of this big fat loan…I think we have concern about more crucial events than we do about the color of someone’s skin or if they are of Irish, German, Japanese, Chinese, African descent. Read everything you can about Muslims and Marxism (sp?) and see how that makes you feel about Obama’s agenda for change.

There most certainly is a society of color-blind people. I met them years ago. I was one of them. We always found the behavior of old folk around some notion or another to be odd but we passed it off as a symptom of age. We played and worked and studied together without a care. It wasn’t till we became old that we noticed what our parents were talking about. THEN we became aware of “color”.

Old meant older than 20 to us. College is what forced “color” into our faces and corrupted us.

I speak of course of my youth were we knew the cultural background of our friends but it did not matter cause we knew we were ALL Americans and we were children as yet uncorrupted by stupid adult society.

Our parents did their best to protect us but society is a strong force not easily avoided thanks to MSM.
