A born here millionaire (a former sharecropper) with a only a grade school education once pointed out to me that over 50% of all millionaries in this country came here in poverty from other countries and started a business and worked their way up. I don’t know if that is still true but since a million dollars is only a fraction of what it used to be worth I suspect it might still be true. I know someone who left a Muslim country and because he was a Christian was only allowed to take $200 with him. He had to leave his house and all he owned behind but he felt coming to American where he could be free was worth it. He moved here, worked hard, became a citizen, and eventually owned his own company and employed hundreds. I imagine some he didn’t hire because they had poor work records were complaining about foreigners coming over here and taking over. When the Progressives in Congress (Democrat and Republican) destroy the middle class and wipe out the rich we can all be poor together (except for them of course) in the socialist utopia they want so much. Your goal perhaps, but not that of most of the people here. As Patrick Henry said, “Give me freedom or give me death!” You may get what you want if more Americans don’t wake up by November but you will bitterly lament it when you see the poverty that socialism brings to most. It has been said that those who won’t learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat them and only the insiders in the old socialist Russia and socialist Germany and socilist Cuba get the spoils, the rest get crumbs, not even enough to eat in many cases. Our poor here in the USA are richer than most of citizens in the rest of the world and some like yourself don’t seem to appreciate it. Well, you might, when you lose even what you have now. Tarryl Clark seems like a decent person but she is a member of the DFL Party the same as Hubert Humphrey, Walter Mondale, and Eugene McCarthy. She says she is for small business and the unions but the Democratic Socialists (the 70 members of the house who are outright members of the Democratic Socialists of America) are doing all they can in Washington to destroy small business. Together with the union leadership they are trying to apply all the principles of Karl Marx to the United States of America. Minnesota might be ready to go fully Socialist or Communist but I don’t think the rest of the United States is ready to do that. I could be wrong, of course, but I would love to interview the many tens of thousands of born and raised Americans who are fleeing the country and ask them why they are doing so. Six out of seven that I have talked with have told me that it was the economy. Nancy Pelosi has apparently made it her goal to retire Michelle Bachmann and money is pouring in to defeat her but if the Democrats stay in control of Congress past November things are going to get a lot worse than the tripling of food and fuel that their irresponsible spending along with the irresponsible spending of ordinary Republicans has already set in motion. I like the USA. It’s better than any other country that I know of but we are fast spending ourselves to death. We owe more money than any nation has owed in all of history and now we are just printing money to pay the bills, and that never ends well. Money has to be real, it can’t just be coupons printed by a government or the banks. The current deficit (if it were interest free AND if we had any intention of ever paying it off – just since Obama has taken office – is such that it would take OVER 3,000 years to pay off it off at the rate of a million dollars a day. Instead we will just stiff those rich enough to buy bonds). At least Minnesota has another claim to fame, the first Muslim elected to Congress. Keith Ellison, a Progressive Democrat and according to my sources one of the 70 members of Congress who are members of the Democratic Socialists of America which is affiliated with the Socialists International in London. Guess I’m different from you. I like freedom but because of the spending of the past 20 years and especially because of the spending of the past 20 months – the current Democratic Administration is making Bush look like a piker – we are fast losing our freedom. When the dollar is toast, you will have less freedom than you have now. Don’t you realize that Marxism has been tried? It failed in Nazi Germany, and it failed in Soviet Russia, and it has impoverished the country of Cuba, and it is failing in Venezuela. I cannot understand the big attraction that being an economic slave has to so many. The free money is great, until those in power take the best for themselves and/or the whole system crashes. You don’t think Castro or Chavez or Stalin or Hitler went hungry do you? But many of the people in their countries have and are. “Socialism is great,” said Margaret Thatcher, “until you run out of other peoples money.” Common sense tells you that to save our country we must cut back on a thousand things until we can get out of debt but neither Democrats nor Republicans seem to be concerned because they have discovered they can just print money and since the socialists want to crash the system they are doing all they can to spend too. Many of them don’t believe in God but I say and I pray, “May God help us” because no one else is going to do so. The election in just over three months will be more important than the one in 2012. I don’t know if we will elect a Constitutionalist, a regular Republican, or a Communist in 2012 but if Congress doesn’t stop their insane spending of money you can line your coats with US dollars to keep warm in those cold Minnesota winters because they won’t have many other uses.

Well, if we don’t replace Congress in November you will not believe what happens to this country within the coming decade. In my autobiography four years ago I warned about the then coming stock market crash and I called what we are now in the beginning of “The Greater Depression” but in truth it will be a lot worse than that. Perhaps you are in favor of WWIII (many Progressives or Socialists want the population of the earth reduced) and are working as fast as they can to destroy the US economy and the dollar. Oh, by the way, the sub-title to my latest book is “and the Great Famine that Followed” and this one, which will be world wide, won’t be caused just by bad weather.

Do you mean becuse its extremely difficult to tell the difference between Democrats and Republicans? They are just two sides of the same coin and are interchangeable. The two parties may as well just merge.

And if the Tea Party and true liberals (as in freedom as opposed progress) actually highjack the Republican party like Progressives did the Democrats (who used to be for small government, etc as I have heard it told), then I suspect we will really see the “republicans” we commonly call “rhinos” all move over to the Democrats because “the party left them” (to quote some recent Spectre?). And then we will rejoice!!!

My personal prediction, rising of a third party or a takeover of the Republican party will push “republicans” to the Democrats. They don’t want to give up their power. Their resistance to the Tea Party and actual resistance to truly “grass roots” movement of the true mainstream population (I mean, they are willing to cry foul on the unfunded unemployment extensions but they still are dragging their feet about pork spending???)…. well it says volumes and it is time they be revealed for who they’ve really become.

Sadly, Harold, this seems to be true. Our only hope to survive as a country is to restore all that we have lost. This nation was founded on the time honored (and proven) principles of Judeo-Christianity. There has never been a state church in this nation, but those who would destroy the nation to create a one world socialist order run by the banks and the unions, have extended this to mean we should separate ourselves from God and set up our own kingdom. This has only been done once successfully (if you can call that success) and that is when Lucifer led one third of the angels in a rebellion against God and established what we call Hell. Saul Alinskey, a follower of Karl Marx and one of President Obama’s heroes (and one of the heroes of the 70 Congressmen who are members of the Democratic Socialists of America) thought this was so wonderful he mentions Lucifer (most of the world knows him by his newer name, SATAN) on the very first page of his book on how to train community organizers to take over the earth. The followers of Karl Marx have been trying to do this for more than 150 years to replicate Lucifer’s success here on earth. Lenin adopted his principles to establish an union of labor in Russia and millions died. Hitler tried it with a different slant and millions more died. Mao was perhaps the most successful and dozens of more millions died. The socialist head of Medicare-Medicaid has already said the we must ration health care with our eyes open (does this mean that he doesn’t believe in throwing darts at the names of those who will live and get treatment and those who won’t, or that he will make a thoughtful decision on who is worthy of getting treatment and who doesn’t? That’s what they do in the UK and he thinks the UK system is wonderful.) History unfolds slowly, but even the Bible talks of a world wide banking dictatorship (in Revelation) where not even a king will be able to buy or sell without the head banker’s mark or microcomputer IN his right hand. Far out? That remains to be seen but we have just handed the private, mostly European owned, FEDERAL RESERVE BANK, more power than they have ever had in history. In 1999 the Republicans initiated the Grammn-Leach-Bliley Act which the Democrats in Congress went along with and signed. The Lobbyists surely got their $300 million dollars worth and when Clinton signed it (the worst thing he ever did) that rescinded the Glass-Steagall Act which was passed after the last Great Depression and had kept the banks from causing another Great Depression for over 65 years. Once the FED and it’s banks were freed from what had kept them in check it only took them EIGHT years to start us on our way to what I said in my 2006 book will be “the Greater Depression” and it has barely begun. The goal of Congress is the destruction of the dollar and the economy (not all of them, of course!). They are trying to create inflation and eventually they will succeed. I know a professor who sold his gold and purchased several YEARS of non-perishable food for his family because he believes food will eventually go up by a higher percentage than gold. I believe that too but I have no way of knowing WHEN that will happen. Some believe by 2012. There is beginning to be a shortage of food world-wide but you will never hear about this on the five mostly government run or influenced TV networks, or what you can do about it as an individual. Over five dozen financial experts (none of whom work for government) all believe that gold will go over $2500 an ounce within a few years and quite a few that it will go much higher. Gold is a barometer of the economy. When it is not restricted by government as in was in Nazi Germany, or in FDR’s “New Deal” or in Brazil today, gold indicates how the economy is doing. When things are good and the economy is healthy and we are paying our debts, gold just sits there. When Congress is spending every dime they can spend on anything they can spend it on and 25 million are unemployed and the government is just printing money to pay them to keep looking for jobs the government is killing right and left, then gold goes up every year and it has gone up about 15% a year on average for the last nine years. Just as it is not yet to late to buy non-perishable food so it is not to late to buy gold if you are rich enough to do so. Just remember you can’t eat it. Of course the socialist Democrats or Democratic Socialists have passed many new taxes hidden in the thousand page bills they pass without reading. “Pass it and you will find out what’s in it” said the most dangerous woman in Washington and there are to many new taxes to tell about here. Have you heard of the 1099 form that small businesses are going to have to file whenever they buy $600 worth of anything from anyone – it’s hidden in the health care bill! It’s just one of the many new anti-business practices that the tax loving socialists have already passed (and you wonder why over a quarter of a million Americans have left the country since Obama was elected). All is not hopeless though. We can begin the restoration of our nation by first being the best we can be (we can hardly expect better representatives than who they are representing). Believers can pray, and all of us can vote in November, not just for Republicans, but for those who actually believe in the United States, the equality of man, ‘equal justice’ under the law, and the Constitution. There is no room for racists in Congress or any color or party. If we can elect those who believe we should pay as you go, and not be bowled over by the propaganda emanating from either side, then we may have a chance of slowing this train wreck down. Nothing can stop it at this late date but if we get involved in what is happening and vote wisely in November things will be a lot better than they otherwise would be. The money that the Congress has spent so insanely is gone and the debt it will cost will cause food and fuel to eventually triple in price but it could be a whole lot worse if Congress is not stopped or replaced. I know those born this year will never know the USA that we have known but it could be a whole lot worse if we don’t stop this Marxist takeover and the destruction of our economy. Congress has an 11% approval rating and when you consider that 11% of the 535 members of Congress are just about the number of people who signed the Declaration of Independence, then there is hope. Let this November be our Declaration of Independence from Congress and replace the other 89%. YES WE CAN! It’s NOVEMBER OR NEVER!

PS. I believe that Michelle Bachman is one of the 11% and worthy of a contribution, and if you live in her state, a vote in November. Nancy Pelosi has made it her goal to defeat Michelle so that proves how valuable Ms. Bachman must be. If we are blessed in November both Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid will be receive their walking papers where they can go home and retire in luxury at taxpayer expense until the chaos they have caused for the economy reaches them. All will be affected by what they have done to the country and the economy but they and their families will suffer too, so there is more than just poetic justice. Liberal news has controlled who our canidates are for as long as I can remember. Notice how quick and with intensity some canidates are discredited or destroyed while others are sheltered. All for your own good? Sarah Palin is a good example. Why is liberalism or marxism so afraid of this woman? Tea Party has quitely had it’s influence on recent canidates. Congress passed health care with the assumption “THEIR” plan would be unaffected. Isn’t it strange their system was totally covered by the tax payer for life? How many are covered by this life-long system? Recent report suggested 8 million are covered. And you thought only your congress and president were? Of course they are working to set aside their health care plan as before. Why should they share a plan with you. Why doesn’t the media tell you the truth? Hard to hold congress accountable when the media misrepresents the truth. During the Obama recovery we have lost over 8 million jobs. Things are going to get real ugly and nobody can stop it.
Reports say health care can’t cover the preexisting conditions as previously reported unless you buy a plan costing $450.00 – %950.00 a month, sort of like cobra except higher. Columbia U. has said cap and trade bill will run the cost of gasoline to $7.00 per gallon. Electric bills in some cases will almost double. No recovery in sight according to some economist. The poor in America has lived for years like the middle class in Europe so we should adapt their style of government? Let’s see how you fare.

Richard, you were right about you calling the x-tra stregnth socialist idea of utopia as hell on earth. They are starting to require that our children read Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals.” They are also erasing our history at a rate that is astronomical. My fellow Conservatives & Libertarians it is time that we turn back the clock. It is time that we DON’T worry about being politically correct. We need to not only to coin our currency back to congress, but we must also go back to the honored tradition of our founding fathers of having it backed by gold. We must put the 17th ammendment back in the hands of the state house, because the state house did a better job of electing our senators. The states know what is in the states best interest. We must also cut our spending by 50% if we want to keep our triple A rating. Do you think that FDR had a “New Deal or a Raw Deal”? Go out & vote this comming Nov., but also remember to study & do your homework about who is running for office in your state, because only then will you be more well informed about what they stand for. Remember to vote for the person that mirrors your principles & values.

Makes perfect sense. Look at the recent Republican slate of Presidential candidates (Bush 41 forward). Nothing even close to a Constitutional conservative. I haven’t had anyone to vote FOR in a very long time. We’ve been forced into a “lesser of two evils” or “who will do the least amount of damage” vote for our elected leaders/representatives. Or phrased another way… defensive voting. That’s no way to propel the country forward.
