Maybe the answer to many of our problems would be to just build a 50 foot high wall around Chicago and allow the illegals to take up residence inside that walled city. It would be OK with me if Richard Daley would be the king or whatever title he would like. Isn’t he really old? Seems like he has ruled that city for a hundred years.
It seems every story we hear about Chicago is negative and depressive.
All reasonable people must move to a better way of life and get out of Chicago ASAP.
I wonder if Richard Daley plays the fiddle. It would be fitting when Chicago starts to burn.

It seems to me that we have all forgotten one very important about our constitution and that it is the supreme law of the land.

That means that any law that is passed on any level of government from city to federal is null and void if it violates the constitution.

Again, Mayor Daley is showing his total and complete stupidity. Does he not know of the Federal and State laws currently in place as to the purchasing of firearms in Illinois ? His original city wide ban, on handguns, did not work before Mc Donald V. Chicago. Therefore, what makes him and his brown nose cronies think, that their fight against the Chicago citizen’s Constitutional rights are going to succeed now ? Why does his elected cronies have the right to be armed on the streets of Chicago and the citizens are not permitted to step out on their own property with a firearm in personal defense of their families and property ???????????

What makes the lives of the Chicago politicians more valuable than that of it’s citizens ??????????? When seconds count the police are minutes away. I will make Daley a wager. If a resident of Chicago calls for the police and then a pizza delivery. I wager that the pizza will be delivered before the police arrive. Also, I wonder if Daley would take an evening strole, unannounced, on any of the streets of Chicago without his 24/7 “armed” tax payer protection ? If the citizens of Chicago voted to stop supporting the 24/7 city police protection for Daley. I wonder just how long it would take him to make arragements to be armed and/or hire an “armed” private protection agency ?????????????

Any time I read about any requirements or restrictions on gun ownership on non felons or crimminal. You had better wake up, erousion of freedoms start as small chipping away.Kids have parents who should be the teachers and decide at what is the proper age. My grandchildren are shooting .22 cut down rifles at age 4. Their parents teach the saftey and proper way to handle firearms. At six they get to shoot pistols, usually .22 or a .38.! I never beleive the NRA’s Congressional polls, democratts always lie and still beleive in limited gun ownership and certain types of ownership. The democrat party controls their votes, because they have spine.

My idea of gun control would work perfectly.
For all legal, mentally capable and non-felonious citizens once they reach the age of 18 they are required by law to complete a coarse in gun safety and the proper use of a firearm. After graduating from the coarse they will be issued: by the government, either a 9MM hand gun
(preferably a Glock)or a Smith and Wesson .45 to carry for their own personal protection.
If everybody is “carrying” then the criminal will not have an advantage over the citizens and the criminals will be less apt to perpetrate a crime upon the populace. Check out the Swiss!!!! It works well for their society. If someone had been carrying at VT or Columbine think how many young peoples lives might have been saved. The perpetrates were ultimately killed just a little bit too late for the victims.

I was a resident in Chicago from 1943 till 1999. This mayor young Daley is pathetic. He demands all citizens without political clout to be disarmed, defenseless,and oh yah he put up camera’s throughout the city to film the violence happening to the unprotected tax paying citizen’s. Any fool knows that if you need the police they are only minutes away. Unfortunately people are killed in seconds. If people believe guns don’t save lives put a sign in your front window stating no guns in this house safe fro you to rob and kill my family. Mayor Daley only stays in Chicago part of the time, he spends most of his time at his home in Michigan. Of course he has a squad car guarding his home in Chicago 24/7/7. Did I mention his armed body guards for him and his family. I guess the safety of the tax payers in Chicago are not important to him. Glad I moved to Nevada where I can carry a gun in the open on my hip if I so chose. Yes there are a few restricted places you cannot carry like schools, court houses etc., but I can live with that. In closing I must say young Daley got in because of the great job his father did, but his father never tried to ban guns in Chicago either.

The right to own guns is an irreversable liberty for Americans. Any person or group in a government position who tried to take that right away from Americans should be removed from office. It shouldn’t even come up as an option.

When a nation is armed there is surprisingly little shootings. There also is a great deal more politness as well.

Go figure.

Vote out the encumbants in Nov, 2010. Vote for non related…CFR, UN, Rothschild, Skull & Bones, Mason, Illuminati, Bilderberg Virus type organisations.

AMERICA: AT THE CROSSROADS

In times such as these, we need only to look at world history. The ancient civilizations of Persia and Greece come to mind. One might consider the history of the British or Roman Empires; Napoleonic France or Spain; also the dynasties of the Chinese and Japanese Emperors, along with the Egyptian Pharos, or the Mayans and Aztecs. All of these republics, empires and dynasties have fallen upon the dust heap of history. Do these once great societies have any meaning in our present day? Oh yes! Big time!

The study of these civilizations was the basis and foundation for our Constitutional Republic. Madison, Jefferson, Hamilton, Adams and all our founding fathers studied how these civilizations emerged, evolved and eventually failed. Our founders answered these rises and collapses of past civilizations with the Great American Experiment; The Constitution of the United States of America; our map for continuing success.

Our grand document is based on the creation, evolvement and failure of every civilization in history. It was conceived through the wisdom of all the grand thinkers in world history. (Thinkers and philosophers who knew that their history would be important to some future civilization and they were intelligent enough to write it down or carve it in stone) Our Constitution is a document written to preserve individual liberty and to organize a union of separate states, into a Federal Union; The United States of America.

Why do we now fail our Constitution? Why don’t we teach more of it in public and private schools? Why do politicians and judges say it’s outdated? The reality is that we are at the crossroads between the success or failure of our Constitutional Republic. This Great Document needs to be honored and cherished dearly.

Our Congress; the Senate and House of Representatives, is now failing us by passing legislation that they do not read before they vote on it’s passage. Our President is failing our country by signing this unread legislation into law. We might call this a failure of their Oath of Office. Or we might call it a failure of our national identity. Either way, we can not continue to exist as a nation under these failures in government.

Ancient Rome is a prime example. Senators of the Roman Republic sat in their Coliseum seats, along with the Roman Emperors. They watched as slaves fought gladiators and cheered for blood. They watched as Christians were eaten by lions while the minions screamed for more blood. Those Senators allowed the decline of the Roman Republic by their lack of concern, accession and decadence. Eventually, their appeasements to the Caesars contributed to the decline of the Republic and the Empire. All was lost as hoards of barbarians over-ran a militarily-over-extended, over-taxed, Roman Empire.

That barbarism was unmatched until the 20th century, when Marxist/Socialist/Communism overtook Russia and Eastern Europe, culminating in the deaths of 50 million human beings. All of them murdered and starved by a mentally ill, psychotic-paranoid, Joseph Stalin; along with his secret police.

Adolph Hitler murdered 6 million Jews. Joseph Stalin murdered 50 million of his own Soviet people. The German people were compliant with Hitler and the Soviets with Stalin. They followed those leaders to their graves. The Roman Senators were compliant with the Caesars. Rome fell, as all great civilizations did in time. None of those civilizations had a living Constitution: a map for success throughout the ages. Our nation has one and it’s high time our Congress and our President start abiding by it.

The failure to follow our Founding Fathers’ map has lead America down the wrong road; to the crossroads we find ourselves looking upon. A “fundamental change in America”, we do not need. What we do need, is to return to a “foundation based on our Constitution”. We should command the respect due to us and their Oath of Office, from all our elected officials in city, county, state and federal government. Only that respect to their Constitutional Oaths and to the People, will save this country from the dust heap of history. We, as a free Nation, still have the right to demand that of our elected representatives. This is the duty and the responsibility of every citizen in a Constitutional Republic. Demand it! Vote for it! Pass it on to everyone!!

If the FBI had any balls and believe and support the laws of our country they would go into Chicago and arrest all them. Any true AMERICAN knows it agaist the law to say we can not have firearms. But is the Federal goverment realy true American any more?

Gun banning means that YOU are the one without one, while the others can rob or kill you.

Many years ago where states required their people to own a gun and trained to use them………….crime dropped by a very large percentile!…in many oplaces to ZERO!

Thw new world order wants to disarm us for a valid reason: The military don’t want us shooting back as we are being collected for the killing fields…..because THEY are the good guys???

I am now 75 years of age and would never have thought we’d turn into a communist government. What I would really like to see is the rights to own land mines!

What the Illinois Constitution (Art. I, Sec. 22) says is: “Subject only to the police power, the right of the individual citizen to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” That’s the constitution that Mayor Daley took an oath to uphold and defend. He should be reminded of that.

Can’t somebody charge the group in chicago, with a crime. That is the perfect example of goverment out of control. Throw the bums out. Ship them to devils island.

Chicag politics has shown for the past 75-100 years that it does not give a damn what the constitution says or what the public wants they wiil do what they damn well please. A number of years ago Daley literally in the middle of the night, had bulldozers destroy the runways of a Federal airport andleft planes stranded on the ground that had to be disassembled to be removed. They could not even be flown off the ripped up runways. To date nothing has been done to those violent lawbreakers in the city government that destroyed this airport. Meggs Field.
