From The Pot To The Kettle

At first glance, they don’t look like much. A couple of raggedy little guys wearing uniforms borrowed from some high school theatre prop department, trying desperately to look forbidding.

They’re members of the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) and, on election day 2008, they lost the Candid Camera Challenge; standing in front of a Philadelphia polling station, one of them brandishing a nightstick. They claim they were there to provide what they call “security” and the law (pre-2009, anyway) calls “voter intimidation.”

If you never saw Philly’s Funniest Voting Video—and more than 2 million have seen it on YouTube alone—then you might remember the New Black Panther Party from the infamous Duke Lacrosse scandal of 2006. These are the same clowns whose former ringmaster Khalid Muhammad was actually bounced out of the Nation of Islam for being too bizarre (placing him on what presumably is one of the world’s shortest lists.)

After the election of Barack Obama, the Department of Justice (DoJ) filed suit against three of the junior varsity jackbooters of the NBPP. The DoJ actually won default judgment against them after they blew off their court appearance. Sadly, our friends at the NBPP knew the deck was stacked in their favor. A couple of months later the word came down from on high: Let it go. Quit picking on Shabazz and his funhouse Cosby kids. We’ll make them promise to play nice at polling places next time around.

Evidently, the Great Uniter got his degree in harmony from the Spike Lee School of Race Relations.

Tuesday morning, erstwhile Department of Justice lawyer J. Christian Adams testified in front of the United States Commission on Civil Rights that Obama and his little buddy Eric Holder had shut down the investigation into the Philadelphia incident.

Adams, who says he found the actions of the Obama administration so repellent that he left the Justice Department, claimed that racial animus propelled the determination by Mr. Hope and Change to kill the investigation into potential wrongdoing by the NBPP. The only meaningful response from Obama is a refusal to allow the testimony of former DoJ voting section chief Christopher Coates.

It may turn out that Adams is every bit the big bad bigot he’s being called by good little liberals everywhere. He might be cutting holes in the guest room pillowcases to get a better look at tonight’s cross burnin’. But there’s not a single shred of evidence to support that assertion. Even if there was, it would by no means absolve the Justice Department from their sworn duty to uphold the laws protecting voters from intimidation—AND laughably inept attempts at intimidation by NBPP goons.

Adams told the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights that "…over and over again…" Obama and his pals showed "hostility" to cases involving black perpetrators and white victims—including the NBPP actions in Philadelphia and elsewhere. According to Adams: “…we abetted wrongdoing and abandoned law-abiding citizens.."

There’s no reason to assume Adams is lying. In the case of the New Black Panther’s beret brigade, we have the video. It should be noted for our Left-wingnut friends that the existence of said video advances Adams’s credibility several steps past that of say—John Lewis and the Congressional Black Caucus.

To say Obama and his pals play the race card is a “Rosie O’Donnell is a little bit chunky” understatement. The left hurls a charge of racism at virtually every opponent of their agenda; see the aforementioned CBC fracas. During the Massachusetts special Senatorial election, I even heard MSNBC talking hairdo Keith Olbermann suggest pickup trucks were a new symbol for racism—which I’ll accept only if I get to say driving a Prius is emblematic of being a pansy.

Even as I write this, Obama has filed the predicted lawsuit against Arizona and SB1070.

Wasn’t the elimination of racism one of the boxcars on the Hope and Change Express? Didn’t the Democrats promise us that voting for a “uniter” like Obama would erase the alleged divisions of/caused by the Bush years?

This boy’s America is as more divided than ever; despite the promises of the President. I’m not denying the existence of racism on the Right. I am tired of hearing denials of the same from the Left.

Can’t we all just get… forget it.

One note to New Black Panthers everywhere: some guys wear berets and look like the 101st Airborne. Others look… French.

Ça vous va bien, les gars!

It’s clearly reverse discrimination as a result of obama and holder.
This has concerned me for sometime. Since they got away with this indiscretion (NOT) what will they be so brazen to do at the polls in November, not just these low-life’s but along with the SEIU?

  • Marilyn

Holder is just another “chosen” for the Obama agenda. The “Chosen”continue to come out of Chicago and Harvard. I’m beginning to wonder what Harvard teaches the students. These liberal clowns have the honor of serving the liberal ringmaster. Health Care now gets a new Medicare care taker from HARVARD – Obama used his right to appoint without Congress qustioning the new care taker. Huh? Three other appointments were made without including the Congress (Supposedly the People Representatives). Even the Democrat Congress is wondering what the hell is going on.

Most everyone was fed up with the Bush administration but there were not any candidates that continued to run for office worth their salt. The knowledgable candidates that could have done something about the United States Crisis had to drop out because they did not have the bucks like McCain and Obama to continue their campaigns.

If a prsidential candidate is not rich to begin with, and campaign managers are poor picks, good candidates slip through the cracks. So, we were left with a very poor choice of rich candidates and had to pick the lesser of the evils. Little did we know what kind of “change” Obama was referring to? Didn’t anyone read Obama’s history before voting for him? His history had Socialism or worse written all over the background information. The Democrats do have a Socialism agenda! Now, we complain about the ego maniac. Color has absolutely nothing to do with it. Education, work background and political experience + (American Citizen) has everything to do with it.

I could care less if the President of the United States was the color green. I do care if the elected President believes in Government for the people and by the people.

I’m totally stumped that more people didn’t do any research on Hussein before heading to the voting booth.
People with remedial computer skills could have found enough evidence that they would have never voted for this socialist. I grew up in Hawaii and I have an old Nam buddy that is a retired HPD cop and PI and he has been looking into the birth certificate scam for almost three years and there are well placed bureaucrats in Honolulu that will never allow any files to be publically researched. That is against the law and Roger is dumb founded that his local government contacts are actually scared to death to even privately talk about anything to do with the messiah. Talk about fear being instilled on the worker bees, Chicago politics at their finest.
Plus Hussein is up to 2 million bucks of tax payer money for his legal fees with one mission; keep his and Michelle’s records confidential and unreachable.
This administration and especially the white house is a criminal organization and fits very well with Soros and the UN NWO.

  • Rennie

I think this is a future riot being allowed to happen by a government more interested in excusing strict totalitarian policy and deletion of civil rights, at least for SOME people. It is dereliction of duty, failure to uphold the law, and cause for impeachment hearings, and removal under Article 2 Section 4 of the Constitution.

    • DaveH

      One of many, Rennie.

  • Ms. Jones

The guy with the nightstick, who calls himself “King Shabazz” (all I can think of is Gomer Pyle saying “Sha-ZAMM!) is the same guy heard ranting about killing crackers (whites) and cracker babies (search YouTube under “cracker babies” for the video). He complains about white supremacy, but I wonder what Obama and Holder would do with a white guy in a Klan outfit standing outside a polling place with a weapon, or shouting about killing “n*gg*er babies”? Decline to prosecute? Yeah, and I’m the next Miss America. Dream on!

    • 1minuteman

in yesterdays testimony they said the naacp lobbied to have them let go. now thats what i call a civil rights organization as long as your black and or muslim. i calleed them last year and asked them where were you when those white people rights were being violated and they told me they did not know about it, i then said and im the new pope in the vatican. in a nut shell, its obama, holder, black panthers, naacp and the black caucus are all on the same team. its the worst racism ive seen in my 57 year old life and i went to high school during the 1967 race riots where my bus was shot at.call your reps and demand impeachment.we must save america but remember not all blacks are cool with obama anymore. col. allen west is one of the best americans ive seen running for office in florida. i pray he wins. he is a blackman but first and foremost he is an american.

      • Ms. Jones

If America is ever to realize Dr. ML King Jr.’s dream of a color-blind society, we must take a second look at some of the following institutions: NAACP (would a National Association for the Advancement of WHITE people be allowed?); Miss Black America (Miss White America?); BET (WHITE Entertainment Television?); Black Student Unions on all public campuses (White Student Union?); Ebony and Jet magazines (Ivory and Alabaster mags?) just for starters. Ask yourself if any of the hypothetical institutions I’ve put in parentheses would be permitted to exist today. Okay, one might argue that all existed de facto prior to Dr. King and civil rights legislation, but he gave his life to eliminate that kind of division. We must eradicate these artificial racial divisions and realize that we are all created in the image of Almighty God, are all equal under the US Constitution today, and are members of ONE race: the HUMAN race. Racism in all its ugly forms must be exposed and denounced if we are to ever fully realize “One Nation under God”.

      • Ted Crawford

Yes, Ms Jones! It’s very sad to watch the cause that Dr. King gave his life for being soiled by the very people he spent his whole life trying to elevate to their deserved status of equal!!

      • William

you are so right sir. and like you I too pray Mr. West wins in Florida. that will be another vote against obama,

    • Angel-Wanna-Be

MS, Jones, I saw that vid on Beck last night, if that’s not a direct threat, I don’t know what is__But our Washington Idiots look the other way!__I wonder if this is the beginning, of many incidents to come?__

      • Ms. Jones

Angel-Wanna-Be, I hope and pray it is not. Are you traveling to DC for 8/28? I am praying that 8/28 will be a beginning of revival in the land, and the first step in realizing Dr. King’s dream of a color blind society, where a man or woman is judged by his/her character and actions, not by skin tone. 2 Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” If America ever needed healing, it is now.

      • Angel-Wanna-Be

Ms. Jones__No I’m not going to be able to make it 8/28__I watch my Grandkids most of the time, because we don’t believe in daycares. But I do try to spread the word by mouth and emails. Quite honestly, I haven’t run into ANYONE in a long time, that believes in what Obama is trying to do to America.

      • gregory

        Ms. jones

        there is power in prayer.
ive been on a mission to all like minded christians for the last year and a half to get them to get on bended knee at exactly 8:15 every knight and pray for the healing of our free country, and to protect us from the marxist evil that is trying to take this country down, for thine is the kingdom -power and glory for ever and ever amen.

i tell like minded christians to try to atleast get 10 christians each to pray every knight at 8:15, and they get 10 people and so on.

were two or more gather in his name and pray–he will be present..
darkness is only the absence of light…

      • gregory

        Ms. jones

i truly believe we all need to be on bended knee and pray every knight at exactly 8:15 for this situation we all find ourselves in.
to pray is the only way, most people dont realy understand that this fight we are about to engage in cant be won by us alone, we are in the history that we have read about since we were little kids, its always evil against good , dark against light, tyrany against freedom, but as you have read the devil looses in the end–its up to us on how much punishment we endure before we break down onto bended knee, we can greatly reduce the punishment by swollowing a little pride..

        MATHEW 18:20
for were two or three are gathered together in my name, there am i in the midst of them.

      • momof4

        Ms. Jones,
        I’ll be there!!!!! Can’t wait!!!!

    • Rick

The answer to your question is as simple as looking at DOJ filing a
lawsuit against the Arizona law, while allowing Sanctuary cities to
ignore Federal immigration laws with impunity. Obama wants to retain
power with all of his destructive allies: ACORN, NBPP, SEIU, LARAZA,
and anyone else that has a Marxist or Socialist agenda.

      • DaveH

What I can’t understand, Rick, is why the Mexican immigrants would want to support Big Government? They come from a country where they can’t find decent work because the economy is so heavily regulated. Are they just ignorant of that fact? If so, we need to educate them in reality (as well as many other americans).

      • kate8

The indoctrinated/uneducated always fall for the promise of something for nothing. They are easy prey for those out to destroy a nation and gain power.

It’s so sad that they don’t know how they are being used. When they are no longer useful, they will be tossed aside.

      • DaveH

I agree, Kate. If they haven’t put in the necessary effort to become worthwhile human beings, they will be of no use to the dictators after they have consolidated their power.

      • eddie47d

Then you have nothing to fear and they will vote Republican.

    • rwnut

      Ms.Jones….Here is the video. http://bit.ly/9UycRV

Why do you think liberial socialists hate the 2 amendmendment? If some one is getting hasseled, they would have put a third eye in those muslim lovimg momkee’s skulls, problem would be solved. Why is all the “supposedly racist laws” not enforced equally? Still doubt the National Socialist Democrat Union Party is not following and implementing their socialist , marxist agenda. Once a marxist always a democrat! sc, some times we get over educated liberal dumazzes, who have a fit, it was probably another kin of am lib. I think JeffH and DaveH slapped his head to a point, so he has a identy crisises.

    • 45caliber

Islam is the fastest growing religion in prisons today. Why? Because the Christian religion teachers to “turn the other cheek”. Islam teaches to always attack back – except harder.

The Roman Empire didn’t see it coming either…
The only difference between them and us is that we haven’t voted a horse to the Senate yet, several hundred jackasses but no horse yet. The end of the Republic of the United States is at hand. We lost it when they secretly switched us to a Democracy.
Democracies all fail because people vote themselves benefits from the public trust. Socialism works great until you run out of other people’s money. Guess where we are today.

    • eddie47d

That is not totally true about the Roman Empire. They spread themselves to thinly around the world and couldn’t support these excesses. Our military presence in the world is also draining our coffers. The same happened to the Soviets and look how rapidly they imploded.

      • Ted Crawford

It’s clear, by your posts, eddie that you aren’t a student of history, politics or economics. What classes DID you take? Shop, P.E., art, and home ec. ?

      • JC

Every now and then I agree with ol eddie. This is one of those times.
We need to stop policing the world and feeding our young to foreign interests. That includes keeping our government’s fingers out of every one else’s pie’s.

      • Kinetic1

I know that most of you are not fans of Rachel Maddow and therefore do not watch, but yesterdays show was shot in Afghanistan. There she was shown a street with a dozen or so “homes” that looked like hotels. Million dollar homes built in Kabul for government officials who don’t live in them. In fact, they won’t even pay taxes to have the street paved! No, they built these houses with our tax dollars so that they could rent them out to foreigners looking for a safe place to stay in Afghanistan. They rent for $10,000 to $25,000 a month, and the streets have open sewage!

      • gregory

        hey kinetic

from what ive seen of RODGER MADDOWS show, it seems that she sure tells alot of half truths, kinda like commie obamie, is it possible that she is a propaganda and damage controll outlet for the commie obamie cause?
remember a half truth is still a lie-it means alot of the imformation was left out on purpose as to promote sway and agenda, i try not to watch any of these news outlets here in the u.s, it seems that they all work for some cause or another…

by the way is that a adams apple i noticed between those wide shoulders and man like arms, and what about that five oclock shaddow she sports about 75% of the way through her show, i guess stress may make that shaddow grow faster, and if she would lie about who he/she really is, why wouldent he/she tell you and i half truths wich are lies…

was rodger maddow the original name of this idiot?
check out the records at john hopkins, it may surprise you..

      • libertytrain

Kinetic – I watched the show on Tues. and Wed. A female soldier I am related to was along with her as an escort in Kandahar. You chose one small segment out of many – I found the show interesting yet frightening to me because of my soldier, however – one scene I found particularly revolting was when a young boy smiling and so excited to see these “Americans” went up to the reporter named Engel or something, showing Rachel the shops of Kabul and he briskly, sadly, and I felt way too rudely said something like ‘later kid we’re working’ what a jerk – that’s what I took away from it – a jerk reporter lacking in common decency as he displayed his inflated ego —- nice way to let this young boy’s impression of Americans grow in his soul.

      • DaveH

        I’m with you JC.

      LES

      great quot by miss thatcher.

  • Pete

They look like a couple of dolts. Who would be intimidated by these fools?

    • DaveH

Those are the very kind of people we need to worry about most.

  • Doc Sarvis

This seems a lot like the gun toting white folks showing up where President Obama is speaking. I’m not saying it is right but it occurs.

    • JC

Actually it is what it looks like…Black Panther Thugs showing up where people are voting.

      • Bud in San Antone

Why are the punks not being classified by the FBI as Domestic Terrorists?

      • JC

Apparently that list is already full…of NRA member’s and Veteran’s returning from overseas…

      • brk

Mr. JC why do you even consider staying in such a bad country filled with such bad people? OH I forgot, it’s people like those veterans coming back from over seas who are affording you the opportunities, rights and freedoms that you are enjoying right now. I personally would drive you to the airport so you can go someplace where these
baaaad people aren’t. And if you don,t want to leave I beleave people with your attitude towards this country should be placed on the front lines when the next attack on this country happens. I would be more than happy to see you people sent into the terrorist camp as goodwill representatives. And not put or brave soldiers in harms way…
By the way “GOOD LUCK WITH THAT”

      • JC

You’ve pretty much completely missed the point here, haven’t you?
I think it’s wrong that Homeland Security and Napolitano are putting patriotic Americans on security watch lists. If you’re an advocate of this policy then it’s you my friend who needs to get out of the USA.
I’ll be right here standing my ground in honor of our Founding Father’s and their noble work.

    • http://Personalliberty.com Ben Crystal

      Doc:

I expect you’re referring to the incident in Arizona. Arizona is an open carry state, meaning the armed attendees in that case were entirely within their rights; unlike our beret-wearing friends in Philly.

You seem like a thoughtful enough guy; so I’ll ask everyone to refrain from jumping Doc like a GOP voter at a Philly polling station.

      Ben Crystal

      • Doc Sarvis

In both cases, from my perspective, the act is intended to intimidate.

      • eddie47d

You are correct in both cases.

      • JC

That’s the problem with you Liberals, you always assume the worst about everyone. Hillary would be so proud. How can you be sure that the fine citizens of Arizona weren’t trying to make the Kenyan feel a little more secure? Maybe they were just letting him know they were Constitutionalists demonstrating how proud they are to be American.
Mr Obama should have felt very much at ease surrounded by so many armed Americans, don’t you think?

      • Kinetic1

        JC,
Did you ever watch westerns? Do you remember how the Sheriff would ask newcomers to turn in their guns while they were in town? The idea was that average folks felt uncomfortable when men walked around with guns, ready for a fight. How were they to know who was looking for a fight and who was their to defend others?
I support your right to own a gun, but when I see someone who I know nothing about carrying a gun, it does not make me feel more secure. Now, consider the fate of the Kennedy boys or MLK, and you can imagine that the countries first black president might prefer that only the security force be armed.

      • JC

Kinetic…do you know the difference between Hollywood and the real world?
I don’t care what makes you or anyione else uncomfortable. I’ll carry a gun wherever the law allows, and it should allow it everywhere.
On another note…I don’t conceal. A Kimber 45 is a little big to put in your pants. So you don’t have to wonder whether or not you should feel uncomfortable. But know this, If ever I’m put in a position to defend myself and those around me I will do so. Even if they’re Liberals.

      • DaveH

        Kinetic,
Do you know anything about the policemen who walk around carrying sidearms? And if this Government continues growing that will no doubt change to policemen carrying automatic weapons like they do in Europe.
In fact, I have known several policemen and they mostly had a problem with telling the truth. The profession attracts pushy, aggressive people.

      • Kinetic1

        JC,
Yes, I know the difference, but I could hardly ask you if you recall walking into Dodge and handing your gun over to the sheriff, now could I?

        Dave H,
Yes, I do know about policemen. My Uncle-in-law was a Sheriff in Santa Barbara for many years and my brother is a policeman further up the coast. Both are good people who have chosen to serve their communities and neither are pushy, aggressive or have an issue with the truth. Have I ever met the types of officers you are describing? Sure, I know they are out there, but why would I assume the worst about them? It’s not often that you hear about a cop going on a shooting rampage in a McDonalds. I can’t say the same for “the quite guy next door who always kept to himself.”

      • DaveH

        Isn’t hindsight wonderful?

      • eddie47d

More upside down logic from JC

    • Ted Crawford

Damn doc, just how many times
Damn doc! Just how many times have you read Comrade Alinsky book? Once a day, more?

    • klaus

The gun toting white folk you mentioned was actually a black man with a rifle slung over his shoulder. The media was just showing his back with the rifle but not his whole appearance.

Doc I’ve read several of your post and I can say that you’re nothing but a Obama apologist.

      • Doc Sarvis

        Ted Crawford,
        The answer is Never.

        Klaus,
At that event the one photographed was a black man but all the news on that event I have seen, including from FoxNews, says there were a dozen people with guns, ONE of which was identified as a black man.

      • JC

Again, what’s your point? Open carry is legal in Arizona just as it should be in all 50 states…or is it 57? I should ask the CIC he knows all that stuff. ;)

      • DaveH

        References, Doc?
And who’s to say they weren’t dirty trickster Democrats, trying to give guns a bad name?

      • eddie47d

        Get real Dave

    • JeffH

Doc Sarvis, could you also include the “gun toting” black folk so you don’t sound like a racist…we all root for equality.
Here is the video in case you need to remember. Oh, a loaded AR-15 at an Obama protest rally carried by a black man.

    • DaveH

      Doc,
Are you referring to the event in Phoenix where a man had an assault rifle slung over his shoulder? A Black man. Most likely a dirty trick by the Democrats as 95% of Blacks in exit polls stated they voted for Obama. Also the fact that the newspapers didn’t pursue his identity adds to that suspicion.
Sit down and have some more pablum Sheeple.

      • DaveH

One more thing. How vulnerable do you Liberals have to make us before you face the reality that disarming the good people is only going to make it easier for the bad people to walk on us?
The Fort Hood shootings are an excellent example. Twelve dead and 31 wounded by one man. And all because the Liberals have created a condition whereby even Military Personel are either discouraged or banned from carrying weapons on base. Did it stop the radical shooter? Of course not. He had murder in his heart. Only the dumbest Liberals could think a law would stop people like him from their dirty intentions.

      • gregory

        daveh

        great example!

dont even let them take the crap or broken guns away from you, in other words just say no!! the future gun grab is in the works as we speak.
its better to die a free man than to live as a slave to the government without being able to protect your self from them…
stand strong, make them take your life before they steel your guns, its better that way, you get to go to heaven and leave this place before $%*t really hits the fan…

      • eddie47d

        Lousy example!

      • eddie47d

The liberals didn’t take anything away from military personel from Ft. Hood. It’s been that way for at least 60 years that I know of. We never carried our assigned weapons to class and sometimes not even on maneuvers. So are you just throwing anything out there to see if it will stick?

    • kate8

Really, Doc? Do you have some links? Because I haven’t heard anything but baseless comments, like yours, regarding gun-toting whites showing up where Obutthead is speaking.

I think that if that ever actually happened, they’d be arrested so fast….You can’t brings guns around where politicians are, anyway. You could well be shot on site.

Facts, Doc. I want facts. Details. Like the videos of these racist thugs who hate white people, and call for them to be killed.

I’ve never seen anything more scary than grannies holding up ‘keep your hands off my healthcare’ signs.

Sorry to disappoint you Kate but that black man with the weapons in Arizona was interviewed in our local paper (I’m not telling) and admitted he is a conservative and doesn’t like Obama. Then again maybe that will make you feel better.

      • kate8

We’ve already established that a black man had a gun. The issue was about all the white men showing up at Obama speeches with guns. Are you suggesting that the black man does not count a black because he doesn’t like Obama?

        I’m still waiting…

So, Shabazz and friends HATE white people and encourage killing them.

Here’s a silly question… what color do they believe their souls are? Like blood color, there can’t be any difference between color of souls.

If Shabazz and friends need medical help, need BLOOD, how could Civil Rights laws be adjusted to give them their RIGHTS to isolate themselves from contamination by the skin color people they HATE?

Would they sign a Medical Order with their insurance or Emergency Room or Hospital admittance forms, that no WHITE doctor, nurse, surgeon or blood from a white person touch them? Since we do not identify blood according to source of race, they SURELY would NOT want to risk having blood from WHITE people injected into their bodies… That could make them Self-Hating White Blooded people.

This is so stupid it is to the shame of all of us, that there are any black people in our country today who are so gullible, so dependent, that they enslave themselves to a con artist hustler like Obama, and give up their personal freedom and rights to serve him and his socialist communist anti-american agenda, manipulating them with lie after lie.

We have LET communists, socialists, homosexuals, pedophiles, athiests, participate in FREEDOM of Speech in our country. We are NOT obliged to enable those professed by their political social personal brainless positions to poison our country, and that is exactly what we have done. Sure, all those groups are FREE to “BE” but NOT free to influence or push their brainless positions on our country and society. Since we already have laws against CHRISTIANS TELLING ATHEISTS OR JEWS ABOUT CHRIST because it is considered an annoyance to them, and a danger to those who do not believe in Christ, that such talking might INFLUENCE them to become Christians.

WHY haven’t we USED that blockade as a two-edged sword and stuck it in the commies, socialists, homosexuals, pedophiles, athiests to STOP THEM from their attempts to INFLUENCE our government and society? Any clever lawyers out there who would be willing to drag a socialist into court and sue under that law that prevents pushing their “anti-constitutional republic” pro-socialist views on our citizenry?

Our Constitution forbids the establishment of any law prohibiting the practice of religion, yet those who fear Christ forced laws to PROHIBIT Christians from practicing their religion – which requires sharing the “GOSPEL” (GOOD NEWS) to all humanity.

Since that blockade law has been established in our country, until it is deemed as UNCONSTITUTIONAL, it MUST also be appled to the aforementioned groups from spreading their “BAD NEWS” endangering our country and society. Sure they have Freedom Of Speech, but make them “talk amongst themselves” same as that law restricts Christians from “talking” to others… and that would make those groups/individuals LEAVE THE REST OF US ALONE. (They will make themselves sick if they are restricted to pingpong conversations on their own tables.)

Obama is clearly a Con Artist Hustler who intimidated and controlled Chicago southsiders for his use in getting help in his campaigns. Southsiders who had already been under the cruel control of Mayor Daley (who will be bumped out by Rahm Emanuel in the next so called “election” in ChiTown).

      Today,
You said “WHY haven’t we USED that blockade as a two-edged sword and stuck it in the commies, socialists, homosexuals, pedophiles, athiests to STOP THEM from their attempts to INFLUENCE our government and society?”
I have a question for you. Why have you included homosexuals and atheists in your list as if they harm other people? You are not being too bright to dis people who do no harm to others (by virtue of their category) in your rant.
I am Atheist. And I can tell you that I am not as pushy as most religious people that I’ve known. Neither of us, for sure, are as controlling as the Liberals. But, it would behoove your kind not to behave as Obama is doing and alienate those who would otherwise support your main cause of morality in Government (I’m not talking about victimless morality).
It has been my observation that most religious people have not been as moral and considerate of other people as I am.
If there is a God, I doubt seriously that he would condone your mistreatment of other people just because they don’t believe as you do. I’m pretty darn sure that Jesus wouldn’t condone your comment, as he was all about tolerance.

It is very hard to figure out your point. This is a very poorly written article. You use way too many analogies, euphemisic expressions, and incoherent references. You have no clear theses statement and ramble on by stringing names and events in an incoherent fashion. You revel negative bias toward certain individuals that are not necessary. Ok, you do not like Obama, but stick to the point you are trying to make and write a different article as to why you do not like Obama. Resistant the temptation to take unnecessary pot shots.

    • Robin from Arcadia, IN

      Steve 3837…
For those of us who see clearly what is going on in our great country, the article was spot on. Perhaps the quips you refer to were beyond your comprehension. I’m sorry it was so confusing for you. Perhaps they write more to your level on the liberal sites.

      • Kinetic1

        Robin, Jessica,
Let’s be fair here. Steve3837 is apparently unaware that opinion pieces are not clearly labeled on this site. I realize this was supposed to be a piece about the former official coming out with his accusations against the White house, but to refer to this as an “article” or a strict news piece is disingenuous at best. Lacing this piece with open bias and race baiting did nothing to help us understand what was happening here.

On the other hand, Steve, you went overboard with your list. It should have been clear to you half way down that this was not meant to be an informative article on race relations, but rather, like most of the coverage that this event has spurred, an opportunity to rile up people predisposed to fearing President Obama. Were you to read any of his other “articles”, you would see that Mr. Crystal falls right in with Rush and other conservative talking heads who use terms like “the Spike Lee School of Race Relations” to get a rise from his listeners/readers. Trust me, he knew how people would react when he wrote “This boy’s America is as more divided than ever; despite the promises of the President.”

” I’m not denying the existence of racism on the Right. I am tired of hearing denials of the same from the Left.” Yes, there is racism on both sides. These two men may very well have been intimidating to some voters, and their goal did have a racist theme; they don’t trust white people. They may not want to admit it, they may even argue that it’s only one small group, but it all comes down to a lack of trust. And why not? Weren’t Black voters held to a different standard? It hasn’t been as obvious since the late 60s, but what was openly hostile then has just gone underground these last few elections. Katherine Harris misused names on felon rosters to deny voting rights to hundreds of black voters in Florida. Police in Newport News, Va., stopped people at checkpoints near polling sites, and some black voters were turned away from polls in St. Louis for not having voter registration cards, even though registration cards were not required from white voters. And how about that video in Pennsylvania? Did you note that, while the story was about the two Panthers, the reporter noted that all 3 voting machines failed and there were no paper ballots available? Is it any wonder then that, when a black man was running for president, members of the black community felt a need to insure that there was no intimidation?

Yes, these two blew it. The night stick was a stupid idea and over shadowed any good they might have been doing. Before you consider this vindication for this piece from Crystal, before you try to link these guys to President Obama as his secret army, before you take this ex-officials word for the White house practicing reverse discrimination, consider the facts. Despite all the headlines about Black Panthers screaming racial epithets at voters, non of that shows up on these videos. White people on hand said they were intimidated, but the presence of almost any two black men is enough to intimidate many white people. Despite the claims of intimidation, the videos show two nervous and defensive black men who want to make sure that no one stops other black people from voting in what was the most important election of their lives. And in the end, I believe that is what the justice department saw.

      • Robin from Arcadia, IN

        Kinetic1…
No matter how you spin it, there is no justification for dropping the charges against these two! Racism is racism. There was intimidation and it was caught on tape. No body should be denied the right to vote, by anyone if they are a registered voter and an American.

You said they overdid it with the night stick and overshadowed any good they might have tried to do. What are talking about? What good? Where they there to help little old ladies into the polls? Park cars? Kind words? You are completely off the mark here. They were not there for any “good”.

      • Kinetic1

Will you at least consider, given that this was a predominately black neighborhood and polling place, that they believed they were there to prevent others from intimidating black voters?

      • JeffH

        Kinetic1, oh come on…even a 3 year old wouldn’t buy into that!

      • libertytrain

Kinetic – you are correct, it was a predominantly black neighborhood. Were you expecting these folks to be intimidated by a couple of white Mormon Missionaries or whom? And the Panthers needed to what?

      • Ms. Jones

Kinetic, you see two nervous and defensive black men. I see two angry men in paramilitary gear, one is holding a nightstick, at one point tapping the night stick in his open palm. One of those men was later filmed shouting that to be free, black men must kill “crackers” and “cracker babies”, and stating that he hates “crackers”. Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3MbqupVxMY Now, tell me, do you still think these are innocent, frightened men merely protecting voter rights in their neighborhood? One even said, “A black man will be elected today, no matter what.” Maybe that comment better explains “broken” voting machines and lack of a paper voting record. The issue is the race-based selective prosecution of crime by this black President and his black Attorney General.

      • rwnut

Kinetic…Right. And you still beleive the Duke La Cross players raped that black whore. And you still beleive the black racist Al Shrimpton didn’t lie and bring false charges against the cops in the Brawley case. And you still beleive the black racist Jizzy Jackson didn’t admit to spitting in white folks food.Yeah, these two animals were afraid some white people were coming to the hood to intimidate black voters.Your head is up your -ss!

      • Kinetic1

        Ms. Jones,
Ok, I have watched the video you linked and I agree that this man is truly angry and hateful. I will even accept that this is the same guy who was at the polling place, but this video was not taken at the polling place. I have not seen or heard anything that confirms that they were yelling racial epitaphs or threatening people. What I did find was that the man with the night stick was prosecuted and sentenced. That seems to have slipped by in many of the opinion pieces, including this one. Only the charges against the other man, along with the Panthers were dropped due to a lack of evidence that the Panthers had anything to do with his being there. It appears that charges against “poll watchers” are rarely prosecuted, even in previous administrations.

So after watching several videos and reading many articles, all I’ve seen are two black men standing at the curb. I saw white people standing near them, people walking in and out of the doors, but the “Panthers” didn’t seem to be interacting with anyone until the reporters walked up.

I agree that the man with the weapon should have been removed. I also agree that, if they were threatening anyone or calling people names they should be removed, but I did not see or hear anything of the sort. Can you show me proof that they were blocking the door and enforcing a policy of vote Obama or else?

      • Kinetic1

        rwnut,
Don’t make assumption about my opinions based on this one incident. These other incidents all have their own sets of facts and I will judge each on it’s merits. As for the voting issue, there has been a long history of intimidation at the voting booth, and that’s a fact you can’t deny.

Maybe these two were trying to intimidate whites this time? Maybe they were looking to prevent intimidation of blacks. Either way, this article misrepresented or ignored some facts, assumed others and proved nothing.

      • Ms. Jones

Kinetic, I have not been able to find proof that King Samir Shabazz (the black panther with the billy club)was sentenced. If you have evidence to the contrary, please provide it. What I am finding is that he was removed by police from the polling place; he and two others were convicted of voter intimidation on 4/20/09 in a default judgement (the accused failed to appear) and that the case against them was dismissed at the behest of USAG Eric Holder. As far as the statements go, here are two links. In the first, a white male Republican poll watcher claims that Shabazz stated “We’re tired of white supremacy” and “Don’t come back outside, because a black man is going to win this election no matter what”. I will grant you that this statement could be considered suspect because he is a white Republican. Start at about the 4:00 mark to save hear just his statement (it is part of a news piece) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94b78rnWMP4&feature=related. Here is a link to a much more compelling statement. Bartle Bull was a civil rights attorney in the south during the 1960′s. He was NY campaign manager for both Robert Kennedy and Jimmy Carter, and describes himself as a lifelong Democrat who voted for McCain, describing Obama as a “lifelong hustler”. He said he and another man were told by Shabazz “Now you will see what it means to be ruled by the black man, cracker”. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BemSmTNDxU&feature=related. Bartle Bull is a very compelling witness; very passionate in his defense of voter rights. He also stated that he has seen nooses over polling places in the south in the 60′s, but regards this instance as the worst case of voter intimidation he has ever witnessed. Dr. King and Bobby Kennedy, among others, did not give their lives in support of reverse discrimination.

      Steve 3837
Of course your right (or is it left). Now clarify, whats your point?

    • http://fromthepottothekettle BH Davis

This critique of an article sounds like you may be a college professor or someone intent on pointing out the fact that you certainly retain the rights of a liberal in your reaction to the article. So the author’s being a little sarcastic-the whole event is a castrophe for America..It almost sounds like they intend to treat white people to the same behavior that their parents or grandparents endured way back when…none of did it, we weren’t even born yet and besides, if they study history, they will find that after the civil war, whites were treated like trash, robbed, rights taken away, and the almighty north even took the land of a “woman” to create Arlington. It was supposed to shame Robert E Lee but it did the opposite, didn’t it??? The land belonged to his wife and she inherited it from her parents…Land given to blacks after they were freed was wasted and the land they received, along with a mule, etc., they sold immediately to carpetbaggers from the north taking advantage of the fact that the newly freed slaves weren’t very well educated at the time..In this time in our country, we are supposedly past this mess and Obama was going to make an “effort” to bring us together and he promised transparency, etc. and none of this has ever been seen anywhere…I am for all rights for all citizens in America but I am also for the crimes committed to be punished..I also saw a video of the shorter version of this debachle vowing to kill whites to get justice, even white babies…where did this come from??? Anyway, the article had a light hearted sound to it but underneath it all is the fact that we are seeing a new kind of America, where classes are being established and sects are being protected and freedoms are being stolen daily from all of us…Now the kicker of all this is, dependence on the fed. gov. is a kind of “slavery” but I don’t hear the leaders of the black community voicing this-they are all for this spread the wealth, etc. I just wonder what happened to the more than 6 Trillion dollars in 18 months that seems to have disappeared-it was $6 trillion after Bush signed the $630 billion bailout, then Obama took $300 billion of that left by Bush for him, added another $800 billion in the stimilus package, and all of a sudden, we are $13 Trillion dollars in debt-where did the money go in the middle of this? No one is saying and I guess Obama just spread the wealth with it like he did in my state where we received over $9 million dollars to purchase new appliances, hot water heaters, heat pumps, and weatherizing houses for the “poor” who are now classified in the $60,000 range-when we were making that kind of salary, we paid our bills, insurance, etc. so why have they upped the poverty level to this high rate???? Seems too much is hidden from Americans and we are not going to make it unless we stick together, get rid of gov. regulations not needed, and get the economy of small businesses back up and running…America, I love you and I pray for your success everyday….Thanks for the article-I wonder what this would look like if the participants had been white members of the Tea Party…hummm….

Back when I was in college, I took a course under a Communist professor. Shortly thereafter, it was discovered he was Communist and was fired.

Now, however, it is PC to have Communist professors on campus – even to the point of REQUIRING all students to take their courses. And their slanted “history” books they author don’t help anything.

The reason for the change was the Feds insisting it “wasn’t fair to fire someone for political reasons just because he held a different idea to yours.”

Well, if they actually tried to teach our history and philosophy as handed down by our Founding Fathers, I wouldn’t be upset. I have enough faith in our youth to believe that most would be able to tell which was best – and those who couldn’t would be in trouble anyway in other matters.

But over the years they have insisted that ONLY their courses be taught and we let them. Now we have to reap that harvest.

      • http://personalliberty.com Jessica

Jean Quick, because of generational ignorance many Americans believe that these are the worst times that this nation has ever faced. What the hell, the Civil War alone did more damage to this country than Obama could do in a hundred years! We need to put current events in perspective. The USA is like a pheonix. Do you realize how many times this country has risen from the ashes of war, social turmoil and economic collapse? You would be amazed. Yet we always bounce back, bigger, badder and stronger than before. Your great-granparents got it, but they’re not around to hip you to the facts. Obama and his destructive socialist agenda are but a blip on the radar screen of time. Once he, his puppetmasters and his minions are out of the way, we will clean it back up. We always do, and we always will.

      • Sutekh

Dear Jessica, the ability to regenerate is not an infinite given.

I once worked for a wealthy, but spendthrift dentist who made some bad investments and began to lose money. He first filed Chapter 13 on his business to keep creditors from seizing it. Then he filed Chapter 7 on his business to dissolve all debts, because he knew that his professional equipment that was paid for and his patient records could not be seized. Conveniently, he had already built out a new office down the road which he began operating as a sole proprietorship. He then filed chapter 11 on that business to keep his new creditors at bay until he got the new business going. Then he filed personal chapter 7 and dissolved all his debts, and began raking in the money again. I know because whenever a new cause was filed, the employees were told to cash their paychecks instead of depositing them that week, because they would end up as creditors in the bankruptcy filing.

The he bought a new house. Then he bought cars for all four of his adult children. Then he bought a cadillac for his wife that cost $36,000 in 1986 dollars. Within six months, employee paychecks began to bounce, notes fell past due. The staff quit, and the untrained new staff could not produce. He had no credit, so he began paying his suppliers with postdated checks, which began bouncing, too.

But he couldn’t file bankruptcy this time.
He ended up dying of a drug overdose in Africa, where he had fled to escape criminal prosecution for tens of thousands of dollars worth of bad checks he wrote.

A second chance is just that. Now that the country is no longer on the gold standard, it cannot endure another depression, nor can it suddenly regenerate economically as it did after WWII when the USA had the only factories left standing on earth.

History repeats itself over and over again, until one day … it doesn’t.

One day the spendthrift dentist is forced to flee the country.

One day the arrogant rich boy’s dad gets fed up and doesn’t come down to the courthouse and pay the fine, and the boy goes to jail.

One day the adulterer comes home, and his wife has changed all the locks and filed for divorce.

One day the marxist president goes to the Red Chinese for a trillion dollar loan for another bailout, and the Chinese refuse.

One day the financial structure collapses, and all the vastly superior, but brutally expensive, high tech weapons can’t be financed or maintained anymore, and our enemies overrun our global interests and prepare to invade us.

The world runs on money, and those who blow all their money end up at the mercy of those who didn’t. That is a law of economics and politics that is inescapable. How many times over its lifespan did the the Mayan empire recover from disaster? How many times did the Assyrian Empire recover from disaster? How many times did the French monarchy? Eventually the day of reckoning comes for those who have been profligate and foolish, and there is no turning it back with smiley faced “hope and change.”

Its time for the White people to finally take a stand and not worry about being called racist. Since us white folks decided to sit quietly and let the Blacks and Latino make noise it seems they forgot their place. It is time we remind them that this country became great because of the White man. If you disagree, show me one Black country or one Latino country that is as successful as America. Every Black country is a 3rd world country even though they have rich resources. Blacks are not smart enough to create a wealthy and successful country. Why do you think folks from the West Indies refuse to be called BLACK?!
The same goes for Latino countries, they are all ruled by socialist boneheads, and have NO Freedom.

So, us White folks gave the Blacks and Latinos a chance to feel important, and look at what they are doing to our country. It is time to take our country back by what ever means necessary. If we my riot then let it be so.

If I see any Black Panthers at my polling place during any election, I will perform a citizens arrest. If they resist or fight me, I have a right in Florida to shot to kill if I feel my life is in danger. I have no problem Putting these animals down.

I am pissed and anger y that our country is where is currently is. I refuse to sit by quietly any more.

      • Kinetic1

Well at least no one can accuse YOU of being a racist!

      • rwnut

        Racist? http://bit.ly/9UycRV OH that’s right,only white’s can be racist.

      • Kinetic1

        rwnut,
I never said that. In fact, I have said just the opposite several times in this discussion.

PissedoffAmerican, I should have asked, did you see Glen Beck’s show on the black founders? Were “White folks” giving “the Blacks … a chance to feel important” when Crispus Attucks, the first man to die in the Revolutionary War gave his life for this country? He was brought here as a slave and escaped to fight in the war. How about Judge Wentworth Cheswell, the other rider beside Paul Revere? Was Revere the white guy giving the judge a chance?

America is a great country, but it didn’t get that way as a result of racism, it became such in spite of it.

      • Smilee

She sure sounds racist to me and it seems she would use any excuse to shoot a black or latino, so many whites today have a deep fear of losing their majority to the current minority in this country and that will happen in the future.

      • JeffH

It’s not about black and white and never should be…it’s about dividing the people. Ignore the racists…there are plenty of good folks to counter them…never did like a racist and never will.

      • BOE

To Pissed Off…I am pissed off too!! When blacks were slaves they had to be made to work in the fields because left to their own means ..they will not work!! Hell look at Africa..they will sit there and let the babie`s die of starvation and dehydration before they will get up off their asses to go plant food and look for water. The leaders over there won`t help their own people. Over here they just wait for the welfare check. They will not work. I have to feel sorry for black women. They get pregnant by these guys who just want to hang out in the street, flap one arm around and grab their balls with the other. Stupid, parasites. Useless humans.

      • TIME

        BOE,
Have you ever been to Africa? If not please don’t make such absurd statments it makes you look like an 100% Total idiot.

Africans are no differant than you are, they live life as best as they can. They work in the fields growing crops, or fish, and or even work in banks shop owners and travel guides even lawyers and Doctors too!

Not that we have any of those issues in our voting precint, but as I always use going to vote as an excuse to walk, I always have my dog vote also. 90 lb Boxer that does not like people who look different. • marvin

i read were this white guy was talking to a black frind the black guy said obama was the most inept president we ever had and did not like his policys BUT would vote for him agin because he is black sure is hard to understand that kind of resoning and they say white people are racist we need to file a law suit agins the dhs for not deporting illegals under order from obdumbo do we have any lawyer on here,VOTE IN NOV LIKE YOUR COUNTRY AND LIVELY HOOD DEPENDS ON IT, it does

    • Kinetic1

      Marvin,
Where did you “read” this? I find it hard to believe anyone would be that racist and admit it.

      • DaveH

To vote for a man based on his skin color is racist, Kinetic1. All the proof we need is the exit polls for 2008. According to Politico.com:
        http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1108/15297.html

      • Kinetic1

        Dave H,
My question was not is this racist, it was “where did you “read” this”. Does the Politico article answer this question? No, this article only proves that the majority of Black people voted for Obama. I already knew that. And while this indicates that many African Americans voted based on color rather than political views, that’s not news either. Further, it does not prove that anyone, black or white would vote for Obama again despite feeling that he “was the most inept president we ever had” and that they “did not like his policys (sic)”.

Will I vote for Obama in 2012? If he continues on his current path I will be looking for alternatives. In the end, it will depend on my choices. As we often hear on this site, it’s the lesser of two evils who will get my vote. Would I, or do I believe that anyone should vote for him because of his color, despite how they feel about his policy? No, that WOULD be racist.

Now, where did you “read” that again?

      • DaveH

Marvin said “the black guy said obama was the most inept president we ever had and did not like his policys BUT would vote for him agin because he is black”.
        Then Kinetic said “Marvin,
Where did you “read” this? I find it hard to believe anyone would be that racist and admit it.”
The point is, Kinetic, that with 95% of blacks voting for him, I have a hard time believing that you don’t think some of them “would be that racist and admit it”.

      • Kinetic1

95% voted for Obama in the last election. As I said, this does not surprise me. I doubt most people did a great deal of research, and those who did may have been happy with what they heard. Perhaps not everything, but enough that he was a better choice then McCain. The quote was about the 2012 election. The voter was talking about how he felt Obama was doing AS PRESIDENT. Until we see the results in 2012 we will have no idea as to whether black people who don’t approve of the job he has done will vote for him regardless. Then again, it will depend on their choices.

      • TIME

        Well slow one,
How about the Howard Stern radio interviews prior to the election for one really good clear cut example.

I am black and I wouldn’t vote for Barry Seotoro if God himself came down and told me to.
And thats due to I see him for what he is, as I unlike you have traveled the world and seen all that good little Marxist can do! Thus
I for one would rather be dead than live under a Marxist government.
Ever been to Rhodesia? Welcome to whats coming.

      • Kinetic1

Yes Bud, there are people on both sides who feel this way. Stupid people who are too lazy to do their research and vote based on who shares their beliefs. People who believe that anyone who is registered outside of their party is out to destroy the country and take away their freedoms. People who only see liberal and conservative. You’ll find several of these people on this site.

    • mar

I fear for the next election. Did you hear Christian Adams testify that the DOJ will no longer be monitoring states to be sure the voting rolls are up to date? Dead people, convicts, voters that have moved, will still be on the voting rolls. How many extra votes can “they” get by voter fraud? We saw it in the last election and it will just be magnified in Nov. Scary.

    • kate8

They’ll take our guns so that La Raza and other racial and religious militants will have an easier time killing us.

Now our government is supporting and encouraging this racial hatred openly, as they’ve been doing covertly for decades.

  • JC

    • TIME

      JC,
Your are 100% on target, and in case most of you don’t know this, in 1917 when the Russian Revaloution took place at first there were people who felt they could control the Marxist, as the Government was ruled for a very shorth period of time by the Duma.

It failed, and those who were in it that were not Marxist were rounded up and met the same fate as the Czar and his family.

As Jeff likes to say History repetes its self, how wierd is it that we the first country ever that made good has come to this.

      • JeffH

TIME and JC, the liberal “BYRDS” will downplay this and continue making excuses for this POTUS…remember, it is “us” the neo-cons that are the racists. Ask any board liberal. Oh, don’t need to ask…they remind us everyday.

Take a deep breath, grab a drink of moonshine and just calm down. No one is imposing martial law or starting race riots or any other Glenn Beck fantasy. Do you people really believe this stuff.

      • JC

It isn’t about Glenn Beck. Its a simple matter of watching history repeat itself. I little history education and some powers of reasoned deuction will easily point out which way the wind is blowing right now, and people better be prepared.
Not you, of course….because everything is fine where you are.

Dave; “moonshine”?! Is that a “racial” smear? Glenn Beck is REAL realist and is merely sharing what he sees. I thank God for him.

      • DaveH

I hope, at least, that those citizens, who have blindly accepted the path to the welfare state, are finally learning what happens when you give people (who are unwilling to make the effort) free money from unwilling donors. It spoils the recipients. They don’t become better human beings. They become worse human beings.
Look to the riots in Greece for proof. A normal human with morality would expect the recipients of welfare to be thankful for the gift. But that is not how it works in real life. If you decide you can no longer give the gift, like spoiled children, they throw a violent fit.

      • Christin

I agree. Greece tried to up the retirement age to 65 to save their country from going broke and falling apart beyond repair and the people from what the news clips showed had a fit and wouldn’t agree to saving their country by taking a later retirement. I believe at the same time the government should cut spending.
It almost sounds like the Teachers in New Jersey… Gov. Christ is trying just to freeze teachers salaries for a year (or two) and they are going bananas… saying NO and risking the failure of their state. I am a teacher and we make a third of what they make up there.

What has happened in this case being dropped is another disgrace to our country and everyone’s civil liberties. Our country and our rights are being totally distroyed by Obama and his Czar’s, and it must stop. For our Senator’s and Congressmen not to step up to the plate and protect us is another wrongful act. They are treating this case, just like they’re treating the illegals in our country. They’re patting them on the hand and saying “Go Boys” we won’t bother you, do what you want to America, and we’ll let you walk free.

STAND UP AMERICA, OPEN YOUR EYES, LOOK AROUND YOU, BE AWARE, AND SPEAK UP, MAKE OUR GOVERNMENT PROTECT US.

    • Harold Olsen

And just one more reason among numerous other reasons to vote the bums out of office–if there is an election in November.

      • 45caliber

Right now I think election is on the way – as long as someone doesn’t try to get people stirred up enough to march on Washington with weapons. That would give Oblama the excuse to declare martial law – and ban all elections “for the duration”.

    • Dave

None of you know any of the real facts.

      • Smilee

It does sort of look like they are trying to make a mountain out of a molehill, typical, this is just to bizarre to possibly believe until the whole story be known and all the facts are out and the other views are told, they typically jump the gun on this site, I smell something fishy too.

      • Jeep

Yeah, it sure does smell fishy. Kinda’ like when Oman jumped down that policeman’s throat for arresting a black professor…huh…Well, I guess Oman had a little extra time on his hands back then to worry about things. Pure and simple, yet so distant for the small mind to grasp.

But with bent intel and lacking mental abilitys you see the results, a Darwin Award.

If one fails to have valid intel they are ignorant of facts or truth
as DennisO, Smelly and kenitic lacking just to name a few get their news from Comedy Central, what can anyone really expect from them but outright stupidity, and they have proved that daily.

        Enlighten us, Dave!

  • Marauder

Clowns they may well be, but I have no doubt that had this “cracker” tried to get though the door, they’d have used their nightstick.

It would be prudent to do one of two things: Vote early this November, or carry a little can of mace to protect yourself. What I’d love to have in a situation like this would be a real medieval mace as an answer to their nightsticks. Of course, Holder would not be quite so forgiving with me as he was with these two.

    • A.White

Oh I totally agree with you. If it had been the KKK out there it would have been a totally different story. They probably would have had them all arrested. And I not saying that either group is correct. It is sad that everything in this country comes down to race. I am not the kind of person who would vote for someone based on the color of the skin but for what they stand for. And Obama is not what I stand for. Americans need to take our country back.

      • libertytrain

A.White – probably arrested? They’d have been jailed and the key thrown away. I’m no fan of the KKK – I think they are disgusting however, what the Black Panther’s did, got away with, and will probably do again, is no less repulsive and shameful.

The Black Panther presence was in response to actual voter intimidation from the rightwing in the 2004 election. The Black Panthers didn’t do anything but stand around outside voting areas.

And,leave it to the rightwing writer of the article to make fun of a persons weight and appearance(‘Rosie O’Donnell is chunky’). I wonder what he and people who agree w/ him look like?

      • JeffH

…who was it that eulogized a resting Bob Byrd? Bob Byrd = KKK member = anti-civil rights activist was excused of his racial sins by non other than Slick Willy and received a rousing eulogy from the racist POTUS telling us all what a great example Byrd was for all.
        Byrds of a feather…

This all plays straight to the end game, divide and conquer. That’s what the POTUS did as an organizer for ACORN and that is what he does best as a POTUS. A leopard can’t change it’s spots.

We all know that if a white person ranted on about blacks, using the “n” word and calling for killing “cracker babies”, they’d be thrown in jail and charged with hate speech. It’s already happened because of a lot less.

So now, blacks have carte blanche to come after whites. Oh. La Raza has been doing this for years, too.

I suppose they won’t be prosecuted for physical abuse, either, including murder.

      • kate8

I meant to say, the calling for the killing of (their) babies, like they call for killing “cracker babies”.

See how we have to tiptoe around our rhetoric?

It’s despicable no matter who does it.

      • DaveH

I think I understand the problem now. Dumniso gets his information from the Jon Stewart show. It figures.

      • Denniso

You still can’t read,DaveH?? You didn’t note that I don’t watch the show?…though though the few I’ve seen are pretty good.

      • http://www.youarestupidif.com Nate

I agree with the author and I look good.

      • bp

Dumb A** Denniso; That was a confession, “nut case”! TIME was not referring to you!
Yes, you are the worst type of racist because you keep yourself in bondage. “You people are so dense” (“you people”?!) “for the first time in our history” descendants (spelling corrected) of slaves had the chance to vote for a man who LOOKED LIKE THEM (emphasis added)…came from a similar background poverty, broken home & Black. It is not racist to support someone who represents your own history & culture rather than the typical white,rich,upper-class men who have been the only choices”….You are wrong on so many levels!

Slavery has been abolished for many generations; your ancestors had the option of returning to their homeland. Most chose to stay.
Poverty & broken homes are not uniquely Black.
Most of our forefathers were white & poor, but men of character.
The United States of America was established without limitations to what any man or woman can accomplish; there is no “upper-class”! Wealth, however, does not come easy. It must be earned.
You voted for a man who “looked like” you? Really? Have you ever lived outside your state, much less your country? Are you multi-lingual? Is your mother white? BHO looks nothing like you.
Black Americans’ biggest obstacle is not the white person. It is the inability to adopt the individual liberty, responsibility & enterprise which has made our country great & unique.

      • Denniso

bp…is that name supposed to show solidarity w/ BP? You are either clueless or a mere kid if you think Blacks have been free since slavery was abolished…ever heard of the civil rights movements of the 50′s and 60′s? Why was the civil rights movement necessary if Blacks had all the freedom they needed and everyone was equal in this country? Blacks couldn’t eat or sleep in the places whites could…we had poll taxes to keep poor Blacks from voting…Blacks could not even get into the political process due to discrimination by whited in power…Black kids, remember(?),couldn’t go to the same schools as whites which of course were always the better schools…

I suppose you don’t know that women were also kept out of the political system and halls of economic power for most of our history? We don’t have an upperclass? Wow!! You need to read or watch good documentaries about our history in the 20th century before you try to spread your vacuous thoughts around.

      • bp

Denniso; Originally, you went all the way back to slavery. Now you want to emphasize the Civil Rights Movement, also generations ago. Isn’t it about time to embrace “Life, Liberty and the PURSUIT of Happiness?”

      • Bud in San Antone

Oblama was elected by black racists. When people vote for color and not moral values or bother to investigate the candidates agenda I call it racism. It’s obvious to me that this bastard child was elected by a bunch of raciststs who never had a clue or didn’t care.

      • eddie47d

What do you call voting for George Wallace and David Duke?

      • JeffH

fast eddie, are you making an excuse for the racists? Racism is wrong no matter who uses it to vote! In true liberal fashion you’ve justified one wrong with another, and as I recall, neither Wallace or Duke were a threat to win a presidential nomonation and I do recall that both were Democrats.

      • JC

That’s what I love about Libertarians…a “No BS” sense of morality.
        You go Jeff! ;)

      • TIME

So Eddie your the one who voted for Wallace and Duke,
I knew the one vote they had must of come from someone who was nutty.
Why I can’t thank you enough for clearing that up for me.

      • eddie47d

Look before you leap Jeffy,Duke was a Republican but did run under the National White Peoples Party in some elections.

      • eddie47d

Time, take that bag off your head and breath a little

      • Cheryl

You are so right. Many people voted for Obama simply because of the color of his skin, but nobody was calling them racists. Most of them had no clue what Obama’s agenda was and did not care. Yet those of us who did not vote for him were being called racists. I say it is a two way street.

      • L

These 2 racists butt wipes should have been rat packed and then let the police come and try to settle it. If ever anyone trys to take away my right to vote by intemedation, well, he or she will get hurt, I’m not afraid of these clowns and the GP should have gone there and forced them to leave.

      • uSNpops

Like the lady (?) in Detroit said, she voted for Obama cause he promised her she would have her rent paid, etc. And when asked where the money was going to come from, she replied “I dunno, Obama’s Stash”

WEll Detroit and the rest of the Black Community that voted him in, haven’t seen a lot of the “Stash” coming thir way. So voting the color of your skin, black or white is never going to replace voting on the basis of knowledge of the candidate’s motives and background.

Lets hope this November more use the knowledge factor, and not the “Stash” factor. Our country cannot afford too much more taking out of the “Stash”

      • William

Bud there was a lot of very STUPID white IDIOTS voting for the muslim from kenya allso, hope fully they have learned their lesson and will vote more sensibly next time,

      • Denniso

You people are so dense…for the first time in our history, descendents of slaves had the chance to vote for a man who looked like them and came from a similar background…poverty, broken home and Black. It is not racist to support someone who represents your own history and culture rather than the typical white, rich, upperclass men who have been the only choices offered for most of our diverse country’s history. It’s a real break through for the country that we have broken the pattern of the white, wealthy, silver spoon presidents of the past…keep the change comming…

      • JC

        Denniso denniso denniso…
        Ask yourself this:
Where did the dirt poor Kenyan get all that money for his education in America?

        Was it
        A) His grandmother cashed in a couple of prize goats?
        B) Rich white corporate lobbyists who have the black community’s best intrerests in mind?
        C) Globalists with lots snd lots of cash who want to use him and his black skin to bring down America and make just another zone of control?

Give your head a shake…this man only paid lip service to the black people of our country to win an election. he’s an elitist who doesn’t give a good [words removed] about any of us.

      • DaveH

Typical Dumniso drivel. Yes, it is racism to vote for a man purely because he shares your skin color. And you have the nerve to call others dense, Dumniso? You make rocks look intelligent. Maybe one fell on your head.

      • 45caliber

        denniso:

Out of curiousity, do you honestly believe that whites are all rich and the only reason the blacks aren’t is because the whites keep beating them down?

        No wonder you’re so racist!

      • Denniso

So, you guys think it’s fine for every president of the U.S. until now to be a white rich man? You don’t think that anyone else deserves some actual representation by a person w/ similar life experiences?
I suppose that it’s sexist for women to vote for a woman, because she’s a woman? You guys belong back in the dark ages when Blacks were kept in their ‘proper’ place and women couldn’t vote and were kept in the kitchen and bedroom.

      • libertytrain

Denniso – you really disappoint me — I’m not foolish enough to vote for someone cause they are a woman like myself, or white because I’m white, or black because there was slavery at one time in this country and I should feel guilty that it only ended 150 years ago – however, there are those I know who would – and each and every one of them are democrats.

      • Smilee

        JC says:
        July 8, 2010 at 10:15 am

Did you deliberately leave out student loans, he had them and paid on them for years and are all paid off now, I know you prefer fiction, but PLEASE!! This was pure stupidity

      • DaveH

Dumniso is really showing his ignorance today.
Yes, Dumniso, it would be sexist for a woman to vote for a woman just because she’s a woman.
I do realize that wasn’t the only reason for people to vote for Obama. The other was the perception that under Obama they could help themselves to other peoples’ money.

      • Denniso

DaveH and Liberty…you really need to think a little before you speak. Voting for someone who has a clue about ones own struggles and experiences because they share some of those experiences(non white, gender, income, background) is not ‘just voting for someone because of skin color’. It’s trying to get leaders in who can understand what life is like for all Americans, not just white men.

Can’t you people actually understand that the country has been run by white, mostly wealthy, men for most of our history? And that we are a country of more than just white males? Was it because no others were qualified? No, women and Blacks were denied the vote for most of our history and certainly unable to run for public office. Hispanics were also kept out of politics. Rich White males can’t understand what life is like for Blacks, women, hispanics, asians and the poor. So having leadership that looks a little like the county only makes sense.
I guess you people are some of those who are fearful of white males losing their grip on total power that they’ve had for 200 yrs. Get over it,and quit being afraid of a diverse country w/ a diverse leadership.

      • JeffH

DUH!DUHnisso, same ole same ole, never a change…the bleeding heart continues on…you are gonna save the world all by yourself with your ever convincing whine…One question for you if I may?…Are you a white male?

      • independant thinker

“It is not racist to support someone who represents your own history and culture”

William…………..it is if that is your reason for voting for the person.

      • Denniso

It’s irrelevant whether I’m white or not because I’m not a racist…It’s been obvious since I’ve been on this site that 99% of you obama haters are white…you all make it so clear and we have to wonder why you just happen to be all white and hate Obama at the same time. Coincidence? Oh, I forgot, you think Obama is trying to become dictator of the world…

      • Dan Burke

        @Denniso

You put up the argument that blacks voting for someone who represents their skin color, their heritage of past oppression, and so forth, that all of this is NOT racist voting.

If there are two candidates, one white rich man and one who is not a white man, running for office and I vote for the white, rich man, who has never been poor all because I am a white male, does that make me racist? My guess is that your answer is “Yes, you are being racist because you not even considering the other candidate because of race.” If you do say that I am being racist because I chose a candidate because they were white, male, and rich, then your statement is also racist. It is using the very same factors to determine a candidate, only in this case, they are the opposite side of the coin. However, I don’t expect you to acknowledge that. There have been several here pointing out that your argument actually defends racist voting but you seem to keep coming back to the same talking point about how great it is that we finally have a black candidate they could vote for and actually did so. By the way, there were whites all for making this “history” as well and both groups ignored or did not pay attention to the actual consequences of their choice.

As for some of us here, we did NOT like either candidate McCain or Obama during the campaign. We were trying to vote for the lesser of two evils. I think both were terrible choices and I was afraid for what it would do to America. Some of us poor people (and I was on food stamps at the time because government has taken over and so the private charity I asked was swamped and suggested it…) actually voted against Obama. We did not believe in the “Obama stash.” We were poor and knew full well that it was rich people that created the businesses and innovations that helped us have jobs and earn our meager pay. So while we knew our neighbors were foolishly believing the government agenda that you could take from the rich and redistribute the wealth and everything would be fine, we vote for free markets and capitalism because we do believe that in a free market.

By the way, I have met a black man who opposed affirmative action. He wanted to earn his job, his position in life based on who he was and what he could do and not because his skin happened to be dark in complexion. By the way, he actually took his own “affirmative” action and dumped himself out of the system he so despised and became a private business owner where he truly would succeed and fail on his own. Last time I saw his small business, he had actually expanded his selection of merchandise and it looked great. I was poor so I couldn’t afford any of it myself but it sure looked like he was doing better than when I first met him–which by the way I want him to keep his money. I want him to be allowed to keep his money so that someday he can prove just how right he was that he had the makings of success and all those companies should have hired him for who he was and not for his skin color. I want to see successful black business men. Some are out there, but I think there needs to be more. And I hate to break it to you, but it takes people like the man I met. Men who are willing to step out and take a chance in life. As a private business owner, that man could not rely on affirmative action to prop him up. He would be seen as just another rich man (probably with some racial slur). But if he succeeds, then perhaps another will follow and then another. This will raise the “black man” out of oppression. Using government to “fix” the wrongs only makes their community victims and tools. And I hate to break it to you, but government officials usually like to keep their jobs. And the best way for them to keep their jobs is for people to be dependent on them. An independent people can vote for whoever they darn well please, so it is not in a politicians interest to really give the “oppressed” black society the ability to be independent. Which if you were paying attention is actually accomplished by the individuals claiming their own independence and is not something government can grant them, just like that black business man who reached out and grabbed his own independence by running his own business.

      • Denniso

Of course the obvious assumption among intelligent people is that both candidates are qualified for the office…one is black, or hispanic or female or asian or physically handicapped, and the other is the typical rich white male. Voting for one who has a more similar background, that often comes down to skin color in our previously very racist society, is not racist…any more than voting for the typical white male has to be racist or sexist,if he is qualified.
The point is that our leaders have been, like the founders, all rich white males for most of our history and they don’t have lives that are very similar to the millions of Americans of different skin color and backgrounds…they can’t possibly represent the vast diversity that makes up our country, even if they try, which most never did.

      • Harold Olsen

I agree. Whether you vote for someone because of their skin color or don’t vote for them because of their skin color it is racism. Several people that I worked with in 2008 told me that the only reason why they voted for Obama was because he was black and did not want to be viewed as racists. They called me a racist because I told them there was no way I’d ever vote for him and they were shocked when I told them I didn’t give a damn. However, as I have already stated in another posting, between Obama and Michael Steele, I’m not so sure I’d ever vote for a black person for president no matter who he was, and that includes Alan Keyes whom I voted for in the 2004 primaries.

      • vicki

        Harold Olsen writes:
“Several people that I worked with in 2008 told me that the only reason why they voted for Obama was because he was black and did not want to be viewed as racists. ”

I do not understand this. Why are they even concerned? Last I checked voting was SECRET. No one but me and God knows who I voted for.

      • Harold Olsen

I don’t care about the color of a man’s skin when I vote. In 2004 I voted for Alan Keyes in the presidential primary. But these days, I’m not so sure I’d even vote for him again. Between Obama and Michael Steel, whom I had originally thought was a great choice for RNC chairman but now he turns out to be another “I’m-a-victim” black person who, like Obama, blames everything on racism, I’d be very hesitant to vote for ANY black person for president. I’ll be 61 in a few days and nearly every black person I have worked with throughout my life–not counting Africans who are totally different than black Americans–have been just a bunch of whining, immature crybabies. They refuse to take responsibility for what they do. It’s always someone else’s fault and they scream racism. Racism these day is defined as whatever black people, and liberals, decide it is. Disagree with a black person and you are labeled a racist. Well, I long ago stopped caring about being called a racist. In fact, in many instances when I was called a racist, I considered it a compliment and that made the black people who called me a racist really angry and I loved it. As a race–and again I don’t include Africans in this–I have absolutely no respect for blacks.

      • rwnut

Harold Olson….How absolutly right you are! Sounds like my experience and my intentions.I too voted for Keyes, but I won’t vote for a black person again. It’s time for the white man to stand together.Racist? Call it what you want!

      • Denniso

You two have just stated that you are proud of being racists and that ALL Black Americans are whiners and complainers…wow! What a convenient twist to be proud of your ignorance and stupidity! It’s not that unusual though, you can find similar behavior among groups like the KKK,John Birch society and many in the tea and republican party’s. I’m not surprised by your lack of reasoning when you make such broad generalizations about different groups of people, that goes along w/ a low intellect…it’s sad to realize though that we have so many idiots in this country who ape the same behavior as you and actually have no shame about their ignorance.

      • crystal

        Wasp spray is better.

    • William

Marauder. if you will just get a can of spray type wasp and hornet killer it is better than mace or pepper spray and is 100% legal to have on your person, it will incapacitat anyone you spray in the eyes with it. and that is exactly where I aim for,

    • Harold Olsen

This failure to prosecute these two animals is further proof that Obama is heading a racist regime. Black people can do anything they want and get away with it, but if whites defend themselves it will be the white people who go to jail. I almost wish that “cracker” had pulled out a gun and blown his ignorant black head off. The reason why I say “almost” is because Holder would have most likely charged him with PREMEDITATED murder.

    • 45caliber

Just for your information; you can buy a nice cane that has the same head as a medieval mace – and it can work the same way. But it is nice to lean on too.

And if you REALLY want to learn how to use that mace – as I do – then look up your local chapter of the Society of Creative Anachronism and join it. They would be delighted to teach a new member just how dangerous such a weapon can be in the hands of someone who knows what to do with it.
