Amid Multiple Crises, Obama's Support Is Tanking

July 7, 2010 by

Amid multiple crises, Obama's support is tanking As President Obama grapples with the weak economy, the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and a military reshuffling in Afghanistan, his ratings seem to be heading towards an all-time low, according to a new poll.

A survey conducted by Harris Interactive found that in June only 39 percent of Americans approved of Obama’s overall job performance, while 61 percent gave him negative marks. This is a worse result than last month, when 42 percent gave him positive marks, and 58 percent did not approve.

What is more, it appears that the president may be losing support from his base as three in 10 Democrats and Liberals (29 and 20 percent, respectively) are now critical of how he’s handling major issues. Less surprisingly, a whopping 92 percent of Republicans and 86 percent of conservatives feel the same way.

Currently, more moderates disapprove of Obama than not (58 percent).

There are geographical differences in the views regarding the administration’s performance, with 41 and 43 percent of West and East Coast residents, respectively, giving it positive ratings, while 65 percent of residents in the South have expressed the opposite view.

The poll came out just a few days before Elena Kagan’s confirmation hearings began on Capitol Hill. Kagan was nominated by President Obama earlier this year, and has since come under fire from conservatives for her limited legal experience outside of academia and for her political role in the Clinton White House. they say his approval is at 39%. the 39% is still to high.

Bob PA —Are you certain of that or did you make an error in posting as I have frequently done – I’ve seen it before – the disdain of someone saying they were censored only to find that they aren’t looking at the correct article they posted it under – or made a mistake and hit the wrong key when attempting to post —-

    No doubt, some readers will feel that I’m a “racist” for what I’m expressing in the following text;

At the time votes were supposed to have been cast for the national election of Nov.2008, there occurred in the city of Philadelphia, PA a blatant act of racism at some voting locations.

I am citing the “New Black Panther Party” for this racism! They were stationed outside the doors of voting places, in the path of would-be citizen voters. Decked out in their black military styled attire, one would have been alarmed to see these club-wielding, ominous appearing militants brandishing their clubs in a threatening manner as peaceful people approached to enter the voting places or poll watchers/helpers would question their presence. On the one day peaceful voters were enroute to exercise their voting rights, they were being intimidated by the presence of armed black men stationed in front of these voting places.

Believe it or not, these hate mongers had written permission to be present at voting places, permission granted by City Hall, Philadelphia under Mayor Nutter’s signature! How could he, or those authorized to act in his behalf, not known the nature of these fascistic actors?
Clearly, these thugs were there to intimidate voters, black and white alike. To listen to the hate diatribe of a Black Panther leader (Shabazz)against white people would confirm his deepest pathology. And, the rest wouldn’t be taking his orders unless they, also, were part of their hate crusade.

That was Nov. 2008, a case was brought against the “New Black Panthers,” a ruling was given by the Court against them, they decided NOT to attend Court, nor heed the Court’s admonition. Obviously, they had been assured that they were untouchable by the laws we all should live by.

That case went further, right up to the U.S. Department of Justice, whereupon Attorney General Holder “dropped” the case entirely. The fix was in!

Let us hope we all believe in a new day, where opportunity is for all Americans, regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin.
That doesn’t mean people should depend upon support of tax-payor dollars and government while they form groups to run wild in belief that because they live in a “free country” they can exercise any irresponsible actions and disregard the rights of others.

They have misread, misunderstood, and distorted their rights in support of their hate for white people. There can be no other verdict, and the Obama administration has enabled these “New Black Panthers,” possibly feeding into their quest for power over the community.

Chicago has its problems, Detroit has its problems, and “The City of Brotherly Love,” Philadelphia, has its problem now. When a political party will do anything to continue a voting pattern of any particular voting bloc, that party is not for the unity of all the people as it claims to be. That party is trivializing everything America is supposed to stand for its own quest to “Level the playing field.”

I accuse the Democrat Party of supporting the agenda of President Obama and Attorney General Holder. No Democrat elected representative has spoken out about the travesty of justice perpetrated by the “New Black Panthers” and their allies in the present government of the United States. This militant group of thugs would not have been regenerated if not for the tacit approval of the White House.

    • Wlmitch1

You are only a “racist” for speaking the truth because the Stalinist, knuckle-dragging Alinskyites say so. I suppose that my recognition of the truth you have written would make me an “olive-skinned sellout” as well. The Leftists are the real racists. Kevin Jackson exposes the Democrats and other radical Leftists for what they really are, on his Conservative YouTube blog, theblacksphere01.

    • http://?? Joe H.

      Stan Lee,
I only hope that people don’t think those thugs are the “normal” cross section of Black America. I know many very good Black Americans that I am proud to call friend and have never had reason not to. Never have I heard any of them say ” We’re gonna have to kill some crackers and we’re gonna have to kill some cracker babies!” Or anything remotely like that!!

  • American Eagle

Obama is nothing more than a bleeding heart muslim lover hell bent on destroying America. I am fed up with all the wineing and crying about him not getting his way. November 2nd is only 118 days away and he will find out first hand just how angry the middle age white man is.

    • Wlmitch1

Barack Hussein Obama and all of the Alinskyite radical Leftists in Congress are in for a very rude awakening. They will quickly learn how angry we Constitutional Conservatives, Tea Party sympathizers and activists, and other American Patriots of ALL races really are on November 2, 2010, and again on November 6, 2012! Should a genuine Conservative Congressional majority be sworn in this coming January, IMPEACHMENT of the great usurper should definitely be in the works!

      • Smilee

WOW quite the dream you have there, as Lindsay Graham said the tea baggers not a bunch to take serious and just a passing trend and he worries they will destroy republican chances this fall, other analysts have said the same thing and you are so small in numbers you sure have to attract a lot of normal people to pull it off and not so sure you can do that

Yeah, those surely are winners for the Democrats. Don’t forget the Cap and Trade (Tax) bill they want to pass which will increase our energy costs by a factor of 2-3 times. That should win a lot of votes as well. And all of that on top of the recently passed healthcare reform law that was supported by a vocal minority. The Dems really know how to win elections by supporting a bunch of minority positions………..ugh.

What do you expect from a pseudointellectual who’s managed to duck and dodge REALITY most of his incompetent life? When it comes to mental and economic aberrations, Herr Obummer is in a league of his own.
He knows how to lie. He knows how to use power to rape the Constitution, but when it comes to reality and getting things done, he’s just another progressive with a monumental case of mental and verbal diarrhea.
He has selective memory. He thinks a border is an extension of the big tent theory. He thinks he is above the law. He surrounds himself with all manner of two-legged, subhuman pariahs. He thinks flotsam and jetsam are famous law partners.
It’s too bad George Carlin isn’t around to give us his views on The Anointed One. We’d have reasons to laugh 24/7 at the White House version of a loser who’s even more useless than the hippy dippy weather man.
At least George Carlin was funny. The Anointed One
couldn’t buy a sense of humor or presidential qualifications at a WalMart or a Chicago garage sale. If he isn’t THE Perfect Useless Idiot, he’s close.

  • Ted Crawford

I can’t shake my, increasing, feeling of deep dread!! What, I wonder, is he,truly, up to??
Here is the source of my concern. If the poll number of 39% approval is acurate, given that at least 40% of Americans depent on some form of government aid, he is losing deep into his base! He must be aware of that and yet continues to pursue these, appearently, suicidal policies! Setting aside the fact that his prestigious education was provided by affirmative action and other forms of the largess provided by the government in which he now holds the top position, This, on its face makes no sense!!
What is in the works? I’m sure, as many have pointed out that he is counting on the voter registration pratices of groups like S.E.I.U., moveon, A.C.H.A.(AKA: Acorn), ETC.! That alone, I feel, won’t be enough! Could EO-13524, also be a factor, or does he have some other nefarious plan on his mind? I can’t make myself believe that he is this clueless!!!

    • Smilee

      ted

39% is not accurate. Gallop Poll 6/30/10 gives him a 44% approval rating and 46% disapproval, Rassmusen poll gives him A 45% approval rating currently for a man under constant attack by the right with misinformation galore, I am amazed his numbers are this high, I guess conservatives are not believed by as many as they want us to believe. I guess the numbers quoted here are only far right wing propaganda and these are double Bush’s at one time and he is ranked 39th in the best president study while Obama is ranked 15th and Reagan is ranked 18th three below Obama while Bush is 39th, now that is in tanked!! The Czech prime minister has condemned US President Barack Obama’s economic recovery plans as “a way to hell”.

Mirek Topolanek was speaking in the European Parliament, in his capacity as current holder of the EU presidency.
Hours before his remarks, President Obama appealed for all countries to bear the burden of spending to stimulate the world economy.
Mr Topolanek said the biggest success of last week’s EU summit was its refusal to copy the US example.

He attacked the US’s growing budget deficit and the “Buy America” campaign, saying “all of these steps, these combinations and permanency is the way to hell”.
“We need to read the history books and the lessons of history and the biggest success of the (EU) is the refusal to go this way,” he said.

With U.S. Gross Domestic Product being revised significantly downward and our high unemployment rate well above that of our nearest neighbor Canada, you would think Obama might listen to how our friends and allies are responding to the global economic crisis. But it seems that just as he endlessly lectures Americans, he is in Toronto lecturing our friends on a subject where it might be better if he said nothing and listened.

Obama Odd Man Out at Summit
        by Bruce Walker
        Friday, 25 June 2010
Barack Obama arrived on Friday in Toronto for the G-8 and G-20 economic summits. This summit comes amid an unprecedented explosion of red ink in America from an approach to sluggish economies that Obama is recommending to other industrial nations.

Other nations, notably Germany, Japan, Britain, and France, intend to move in the other direction, reducing their government deficits by reducing expenditures. Two years ago the leaders of these nations supported “pump priming” as a solution to the financial crisis caused by the collapse of Lehman Brothers, a giant American investment bank. Now these leaders believe that more government spending will make things worse

He has refused to work with all members of congress. He is a dictator. He did not really win the election, McCain received over 16,000,000 more votes than this imposter. Where is the real birth certificate? Why are most of his important records sealed. It is estimated that he has spent over a million dollars to seal these records. What is he hiding?????????????
We know very little about this man and yet he was elected President!!!!!!!!!!!! Where is the common since in this country???

    • William

James I have never called him president and I never will. he is not a president, he is a usurper,

    • Wlmitch1

Actually, it was the opposite, but ONLY AFTER you count all of the dead people who voted from the tomb, illegal aliens with fraudulent ID, those who voted in two places (New York Liberals with winter homes in Florida, liberal college students away from home, etc.), duplicate ACORN votes, and new votes which were suddenly found.

    • Stan Lee

James: I read your remarks and say “Welcome, brother.” Please bear in mind that while Obama is the “front man” for all the inequities we’re seeing, he is strictly a “front man.” That is why it took over 60 days for him to move at all on the Gulf of Mexico oil disaster.
That is why everything we think he deliberates for this nation is so unsure and so subject to reversal or change of policy. His is not the last word on issues, he bluffs, he stammers,he delays, unless the words and policies are prepared for him in advance. It is so shameful!

He has no self-guiding mechanism, he is the product of Marxist theology and such theology reacts to a “Politburo,” which was one of the first matters Obama and his mentors saw to. This “Poliburo”(as the governing influence was called in the Soviet Union)is composed of the “Czars” who are appointed via circumnavigating the U.S. Congress and accountable(supposedly)only to the President. Now we know why they’re called “czars” in the first place.

So, he’s got it “made” because, however deceived the American people were about him, he’s got the authority now. So much for voting with eyes wide shut.

And, the political party from which he was selected to run for POTUS is behind him. If you think they’re not, discount their words and investigate their voting records. Those statistics are available with very little research on your part. Obviously, we all have computers or we wouldn’t be here. The answers are found on the Internet.

That’s why the Obama Administration would like to stifle Internet communication, talk-radio, and certain periodicals and books not in agreement with the Marxist agenda. They, already, have no need to censor Hollywood, that bunch is in his camp with few exceptions.
Jon Voight, Sylvester Stallone, and Clint Eastwood are not in the Obama camp, they’ve been vocal, notice that I have named three real men who now reveal what real American men are made of.

The Democrat Party will bleed in the next two national elections. It must happen, we must all make it happen. It can be no other way. Sure, some Democrats will try distancing themselves from Obama and his mistaken policies, but again I state, look at their voting records in Congress. They all must go,they’ve been responsible for enabling what Obama and mentors have wrought!

Without the support of a majority Democrat Congress, Obama’s options are seriously reduced until election time 2012. Choke off the support of his Congress and make sure we send him back to wherever he came from in 2012. Enough said, we have work to do.

      _________________________________

A new poll of leading presidential scholars ranks Barack Obama as the 15th best president of the United States, just below Bill Clinton but ahead of Ronald Reagan.
The Siena College poll, which surveyed 238 presidential scholars at U.S. colleges and universities, asked scholars to rate the nation’s 43 chief executives on 20 attributes ranging from legislative accomplishments to integrity and imagination.
In the overall ranking, Obama rated two places below Clinton, who was 13th best, and three better than Reagan, who is ranked as the 18th best.
Franklin D. Roosevelt again earned the top spot, as he has every time since the poll was first conducted in 1982. He and the Mount Rushmore presidents — Teddy Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln, George Washington and Thomas Jefferson — have consistently been the top five presidents in the poll’s findings.
Obama’s 15th ranking is slightly higher than other presidents who have taken office since the poll started nearly 30 years ago. Most start out at about number 20, said Siena statistics professor and poll director Douglas Lonnstrom.
“[Obama’s] doing a little better, but he’s generally in the same ballpark,” he said.
While he ranked high on traits like imagination (6th), communication ability (7th) and intelligence (8th), Obama rated poorly ratings on background (32nd), which was composed of traits like family, education and experience.
Lonnstrom said the main factor that gives a president a top-five or top-10 ranking is his accomplishments — and an all-around high ranking in most categories.
FDR, for example, ranks in the top 10 for every category except integrity, he said.
“The experts really are looking for consistency, a president who is looking good across most of these categories,” he said.
Obama’s predecessor, George W. Bush, was ranked at number 23 in 2002 — the last time Siena’s presidential expert poll was conducted — but has since dropped to number 39, qualifying him as one of the five worst presidents. Bush came in at number 42 — second to last — on issues such as handling the U.S. economy, foreign policy accomplishments and intelligence. (Warren G. Harding was rated the least intelligent president).
Bush joins Harding, Andrew Johnson, James Buchanan and Franklin Pierce, all of whom have consistently ranked as the worst presidents since the poll started, in the bottom five.
Several other presidents also saw movement in their ratings this year. Bill Clinton moved up five places, from No. 18 in 2002 to No. 13 today; John F. Kennedy also moved up, from No. 14 to No. 11.
Carter, Reagan and Nixon all dropped in the rankings this year — Carter dropped seven spots, from No. 25 in 2002 to No. 32 now; Reagan dropped two spots, from No. 16 to No. 18; and Nixon fell four spots, from No. 26 to No. 30.

FDR created the Great Depression through his regressive programs . . . . just like the Bamster is doing today. What will it take to end the Bama Depression? Another war???

      • George E.

        Dale,

I agree with your assessment, except possibly regarding how WWII got the USA out of the depression. WWII was instrumental in helping to lift the USA out of the depression to this extent. It geared up our industrial base/factories so they were tooled and running at top efficiency by the end of the war, while the war bombed competing countries factories and infrastructure out of operation. Also, defeated countries had political systems to rebuild before they were able to sell their products into the world economy. That gave companies in the US several years (20-25) advantage before competitors began catching up. Otherwise, WWII was just a big financial drain on the US economy, not all that different from FDR’s New Deal socialist programs.

  • Stan Lee

Each day that Obama is in the White House brings more sentiment that he’s the most incompetent person ever elected to the U.S. presidency.
He must certainly be aware that his ineptitude is now on the minds of the majority of American voters.

Yet, he appears to be unphased, as if all his campaign utterances weren’t lies, but that his “transformation of America” (which was his big selling point)is on track. He is satisfied with himself!

I submit that his pre-election language was deceptive enough to deceive the American voter, too many of which are apathetic, gullible, and treat their right to vote in a frivolous manner.
I’m not here to defend Obama, I loathe him for what he’s doing, but the reckless and uninformed behavior of too many American voters launched him into the Presidency. They wanted “Pie in the Sky,” and now we all suffer for their carelessness. Now, they, all of us, must right the ship of state. We can do it.

Obama and his cohorts are creatures of the Marxist theology, they do what Marxists are programmed to do. He may or may not even be eligible for the office of POTUS, and for that I hold the national Democrat Party leaders responsible. They took shortcuts in vetting him, a few know the real facts about him which were covered up, they saw a man they thought could win with the presumed assistance of a national press corps that has short-changed the American people with their leftist filtering of facts and vital information. They will continue to back Obama, they’re too deeply invested in him.

There are few Democrats who didn’t “go along with their program,”there are some Democrats who’re upholding their oaths to the U.S. Constitution, but all were after power more than the honor they pledged and failed to deliver. They all must go, there is no way to select only those “Good” Democrats to stay on. Look at all of their voting records in the US Congress, and prove to yourselves who is for America, and who is for “going along” to transform America into something very few now admit they expected.

Elections have consequences and we have yet to see all of those consequences. What we have seen is enough! With a lesson now learned, let’s pay attention and survive the assault on our Constitution. Let’s not forget the present regime’s undermining of our rights to protection from foreign infiltrations, the passing of tax and spend bills Americans do not want, the plunging of America into debt that will affect generations to come. This is all of what Obama meant by “Leveling the playing field,” meaning in his type language pushing Americans down to the lowest common denominator of citizenry, whereupon we all become pathetically dependent upon big government.

    • William

well put Stan. the very reason I will not vote for a democrat for at least the next two elections. and maybe after that,

26 to No. 30.

      • George E.

        Smilee,

When you said the people who rated our Presidents were “scholars” and they rated FDR highest of all Presidents, I knew the raters were Liberals, at a minimum, and believe big (probably socialist) government is best. That’s not unusual for liberal academics. Would you accept a poll of conservative “scholars” to tell us which were the best Presidents? Of course you wouldn’t. So please don’t ask us to accept your poll as gospel. Show me a poll that rates Ronald Reagan at or near the top and FDR, Wilson, Carter, and LBJ near the bottom, then I’ll pay attention to what they have to say about Obama and Bush. Until then, you’re wasting your time quoting Liberal sources to me, and many of the other participants on this blog, I suspect.

      • Smilee

You never base your conclusions on fact, it is merely your opinion and I find it mostly wishful thinking on your part, Reagen as never been rated any higher in these type of polls that are analytical in nature and not just based on feelings and emotions as most peoples opinions on this site are, and they also suffer from closed minds which keeps anything analytical and scholarly out of their minds

Obama knows exactly what he is doing. I am surprised that anyone with half a brain could not see it coming. I advise anyone who is concerned about their liberty to invest in Gold (precious metals), commoditys (canned food, bottled water, etc.), Guns and Ammo, Books, Camping Equipment, and anything esle needed for survival to get ready for the coming war. If Blacks and Hispanics are 20% of the population that leaves 19% of his support coming from other ethnic/racial groups. Beware of your neighbors, and be careful what you say and who you say it to. Don’t forget that you can be reported as being subversive to the WH website.

  • De Anderson

Considering that we as a country elected a person with absolutely no experience as a leader, except in Chicago politics, and as a community organizer whose rhetoric wowed our country, he’s doing as well as he can under the circumstances.

He probably was very good at what he did in Chicago, but it’s the Peter Principal; “A person rises to the level of their own inadequacies.”

And that’s what has happened to the duped people of the United States. Now really, when did someone tell you something that you knew was too good to be true; it usually isn’t true.

Sounds to me he has everything he wished for and then some.

    • Sutekh

The whole problem with Obama is racism.

The black community and liberals pull the “racism” card anytime that Obama is criticized, when in actuality the situation is reversed. I heard one African American tell me that he thought that Obama was totally incompetent, and an ineffective leader, but that he would vote for him again BECAUSE HE IS BLACK. Small wonder Obama, who is half white half black chose to brand himself as “black.” If he were “white,” he’d have been only one white man among many in the presidential race. By choosing to be “black,” he took advantage of the racism that propelled him into office.

I know a lot of white liberals voted for him, but they did that because they are racist, as well, and hate themselves as much as their own country. Rich people with low self esteem are problematic in politics, because they will sell out to anybody to “prove” that they are “nice” people. Obama’s mama was one of these, and eschewed the company of her own race in order to show off that she could marry a foreigner who was black and belonged to an antiChristian and antiamerican religion. After he threw her back, she went and found another one just like him, so one cannot say that it was “kismet” (as with Othello and Desdemona) that brought her and her first husband together. The second go-round demonstrates that her selection was immutably preset in that direction, regardless of the spiritual and romantic qualities of the chosen partner.

Now that the fools who voted for Obama don’t like what they got for their vote, we can accuse them of being racist for not liking a “black” man. And we should. Turn about it fair play. That is the thing a white liberal most fears — being exposed as a pro-black racist who hates himself and his own society.

Racism goes both ways. One can systematically eliminate a candidate on the basis of his skin color, or one can systematically promote a candidate on the basis of this skin color. That is why the liberals have set up such a racist government to persecute the majority of its citizens; the liberals have successfully obscured the fact that unwarranted favor shown someone is just as biased as unwarranted opposition to someone.

      Sutekh

      • JC

        Well said.

      • Wlmitch1

You have made some excellent points. As an American of half-Croat (an olive-skinned Balkan nationality) and half-white ancestry, and disabled, I have noticed that the radical Left always finds the WORST candidates in the U.S. minority populations to run for high office, and then touts them as the BEST that the U.S. minority populations have to offer. It is racist, patronizing, demeaning, and absolutely INFURIATING to those of us in the minority populations who are intelligent, have real common sense, and can SEE THROUGH this swill!

Keep in mind that the Democrats have a racist history. J. William Fullbright, Justice Hugo Black, Senator Robert Byrd, and Governor George Wallace are perfect examples. LBJ used to call ALL of the minority vote “the nigger vote,” and only partnered with the Republicans to pass the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965, and then took all of the credit to “captivate” the minority vote for the Democrats.

I do not vote for “Democrats.” I am registered as a Republican, and vote in all of the Republican primaries for ONLY Constitutional Conservatives and real American Patriots. I only vote “for” Republicrats, RINOs, and Country-clubbers in the general elections to vote AGAINST the radical Leftists who run as Democrats.

      • Robin, Arcadia, IN

        Sutekh…
Great post! He is a mulatto. He is as much white as he is black. Probably more white than black, except for his skin color! He was raised by his white grandparents! It is so odd that his background is so secretive. Did he not have any girlfriends? What about his college background? Things about him are just a little too well buried from the public, for being such a public figure. A man with no experience or a past is in charge of the entire free world. Enough to make sane people panic!

Kissinger has faith in the useless eater theory, and Zbig is even more ‘far out.’ As long as those

Obama has but one strength and that is to campaign. He has a way of captivating his audience, in particular those who have had rough times. He minimizes the issues and really gets them to believe in what he is saying. He is a lot of double talk. He does not understand the will of the people and what his role really is. He has surrounded himself with his Chicago buddies and socialists. I really believe our country would have been better off with Hillary as President. At least we were already aware of her governing skills. We must stay united and we must stay updated to the issues. We do not want to elect those who only say what they need to say to get elected. Educate yourself and everyone around you! Trust God, not man!

Barry Soetoro has carried the destruction of America to dizzying heights and at warp speed. He, too, took an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. He behaves as though he never has even heard of such a document and has absolutely no loyalty to this country……NWO puppet and traitor. Sure, he inherited the treason perpetrated by Bush but he refused to reverse anything and instead placed his imprimatur on what King George so illegally did. He’s a liar, a cheat, a sociopath, a fascist, a NWO puppet, and a total enemy of the U.S. His goal is to entirely destroy our economy and any possibility of our being able to create jobs and from the looks of things, he may succeed.

      • George E.

        J Michael,

No one is really ever truly prepared to become US President when they are initially elected, so we have to be patient for a while until they get both feet on the ground (Hopefully, that doesn’t take more than 1 year of their 4 year term of office.) However, most have a solid set of traditional values and smart advisors to fall back on when making tough decisions. Unfortunately, in Obama’s case, he doesn’t have the foundation to lead our country. He was fast-tracked into the Presidency before he was prepared to even get to the starting point. He has no business experience, no military experience, and not very much political experience. He has little regard for our history and traditions and certainly doesn’t understand or appreciate the capitalist, free market system to raise the standard of living for most individuals. Aside from all the notions that Obama is trying to destroy the country, he is just not the right guy for this job at this time.

      • JeffH

George E., well said and reasonable.

      • Christin

BO is NOT the right guy for this job at ANY TIME.

He does NOT have our Judeo-Christian, Constitutional, Free Market American values.

I believe he purposely let the oil gush out since April 20th to let it become a CRISIS so he and the extreme greens can shut down oil production here and help Soros’s Brazil oil plans… aren’t payoffs sweet.

Their plan is to collapse all nations for one world governance… and if a people die along the way… oh, well, they like depopulation, too.

As an independent I find much of the talk from the left and the right very disturbing. There never seems to be a sensible middle ground that allows for pragmatic policy making and leadership.

      re: the current administration

You could say the same thing about Bush Jr. and Palin – both intellectual light weights with at best a cursary understanding of economics, history, and science. What’s even more concerning is their apparent lack of interest in all things intellectual.

I’ll wait until 2012 to see who the Republican leader is going to be -surely the party can do better than Palin.

      • Free4Now

        Michael

With the greatest respect for your rights, I simply have to disagree with you.

I think you need to check on where it is that you are getting your information. You may want to try reading up on exactly what Gov Palin has achieved. There are a number of excellent cross-referenced sites where you can find this information. Try reading this in places other than the MSM which are purely WH mouthpieces. At the risk of insulting you, go to http://www.conservatives4palin.com. The people on that site make a point of following her track record. There’s also http://www.hillbuzz.org, originally a democratic blog but now conservative. Anyway, I exhort you to research, research and then research some more. You may learn quite a lot. I’ll take her executive experience over pretty much anyone else right now and it’s still 2 years until 2012…

        Michael,

I’m curious, which past President(s) would you point to as example(s) of the kind of intellectual(s) you prefer to see in the White House? You wouldn’t equate Bush’s/Pallin’s non-Eastern/ Mid-Western, non-urbanite backgrounds with being non-intellectual, would you? Just as a leveling question, did you view Ronald Reagan as a non-intellectual, and how successful did you think Reagan’s Presidency was? Thanks.

        __________________

26 to No. 30.

Obama is a wake up call folks. If this country does not stop its evil ways, and still persists on pushing God out of its existence, then judgement will come. God will use the enemies of a country to punish a country for continually turning its back on him. I like a quote that I heard from the reverend Billy Grahm. ” If God does not punish the United States for its’ evil, he will have to apologize to Sodom and Gamorrah”. “If my people will repent and turn from their evil ways, then I will heal their land” this Bible verse sounds relevant to our situation today.

It is beyond comprehension that as high as 39% still can’t see this guy does NOT care about anybody but his own agenda. Sociopath is starting to come to mind. The arrogance as he speaks is unbelieveable. Do these people actually think it will all get better if they just “hope” it to be?

    • Larry C.

CJ those are the “FOOLS” that are still drinking the kool-aid, and those are the ones when asked about what they know about America think that the oil-spill is in the country of Mexico, and that actually belong on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on the Jay-Walkers.

      Bearone7777

    • Disgusted

Yes, they do. Considering the majority of that 39% are probably on welfare or some kind of assistance, that Obumer has promised to continue, they will not change their view.
We all need to speak loudly in November and then again when Obumer’s term is up. We can not let this man sit for another term as President of this great country – he is already on the way to changing that.

      • JC

        Welfare…Union…Government Employee…Undocumented Democrat…
Yeah, 39% seems about right. Just goes to show how far down the socialist dependency path we’ve gone. Pathetic.

      • http://aol wayne a

jc,several months ago the LA Times said 47% of the illegals are on welfare.

      • herb

Yes and the other 73% are in jail getting every thing free or are drug lords.

      • TIME

Hi Disgusted, the numbers on Government aid is now at 43%, whats even more whacked out is that 35% of those working now as in still have a job work for the Government be that state or federal.

So that leaves just about 25% who work outside the Government that support the 78% that either don’t work or work for the Government.

Of what by the way the average pay for Government work is well over $110K with perks, yet the non Government jobs the average pay is
just a tad over $60K with perks.

Strange how the Middle class is all but vanishing. No not really.

Again I ask, how long do any of you think this all will hold out?

Oh and from Barry Soetoro’s win in November 08, 5 million people have lost their jobs, and that number is growing daily.
But don’t worrie he has a plan!

Also really don’t worrie we have some real brain trust that post here who know more than all of us in the real world who do work and pay Tax’s etc.
Yes we see them daily as they point out your flaws in thinking, or that YOUR feelings about paying more tax’s or illegals is some how not quite right.

And where do these brain trust get their intel? CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, and when one figures in the fact that most of these media owners are members of the CFR, we all know that the intel must be 100% true and straight, right?

      • Child of Lt. Harley

Thank you all for your posts. It is a good reflection of what the country as a whole is going through. My brother fell for the no new taxes unless you make over $250,000. No New TAXES but check out your cell phone bill … telephone/internet bill and next year … Electric Bill … surcharge… TAX …. XXX fund, etc, etc, etc, All because Al Gore … Bill Clinton … Obummer or some intellectual politician (I use the term lightly) thought they knew what was best for the country. Our forfathers had an idea of what was best for our country. It is called the US Constitution. The Boston Tea Party came about because of disenchantment of the need for a new tax by the all wise (God Endowed) King George. Now the God in his own eyes Obama has grand ideas of what is BEST for our country. One problem … many of the ideas do not jive with the US constitution or the will of the majority. No problem … just appoint activist judges and strong arm the members of congress. Just wait … judgment day is coming soooooooooon. Mark my words. Our coming approach to the economy is unsustainable. AND a WWII is not an option to bring us out a la Rosevelt. A World War at the current level of nuclear armament would be the end. Looks like checkmate soon.

Thats illegal.well, not if the judges in the court are apointed by you and thats what they believe.Pulling over when you hear a siren, thats been the standard for years, just as saluteing the flag, but if your Obie, you give the flag and our troups the old crotch salute.Dont like what you hear from a christian preacher? Deny it and tell them how great your religion is,yeah, the one where women are property and where non believers are killed.Whats that you say? People down the street are bucking your neighborhoods established garbage pick up,train you 500 internal secreity police and force them to comply. History, however true is here and cant be changed unless you are HBO. Dont ever call Obie a black man, there is nothing there that would come close to defineing a man.

What would you expect these are Rush’s own ratings, he owns them

Gallop Poll 6/30/10 gives him a 44% approval rating and 46% disapproval, Rassmusen poll gives him A 45% approval rating currently for a man under constant attack by the right with misinformation galore, I am amazed his numbers are this high, I guess conservatives are not believed by as many as they want us to believe. I guess the numbers quoted here are only far right wing propaganda

      • Jim Wright

In case you are not conversant in English let me be the first to enlighten you, an approval rating is not a fact true of false rating. There are many people who do not like what Mr. Limbaugh says, but the people who do real fact checking ALWAYS come back with a very high rating for the accuracy of his statements.
On the other hand, Mr. Obama’s statement are consistently shown to be incorrect. In other words, many may not like what Mr. Limbaugh says, but he is factual. Many leftist may love what Mr. Obama says, but his is consistently a liar.

Now with real people I can’t find a single business owner who really thinks Barry Soetoro is all that great.

As a matter of fact with the numbers of people being let go from their jobs, as in some where near the 25,000 per month and thats
        month after month.
I don’t think it will be that long before the only polls Barry Soetoro will rate high on may well be the type Valad Dracoula used.
Oh and MSNBC will still be singing his praise as if can walk on water.

As I see it the people who have put up their life savings to start a small biz, having to walk away from not only their dreams but everything they worked years for is not an easy thing. And its now a daily event that thousands are suffering.

But as your such a brain trust I am sure you can rationalize most anything to seem like all is well in little willy wonka ville.

He knows he is in a very unstable position now, but if the elections this year go the way I think they’ll go (my opinion only and not fact because I can’t look into a crystal ball like the libs do.), he’ll be running for cover soon enough. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • Liberty

Why should he be impeached…because half of this country is not blind to its deficiencies but just plain ignores over-population, pollution and just plain selfishness? What do you really get by dividing a nation on the “good old guys” way of harnessing hard-working, honest people’s interests. The Republicans keep harping on lower taxes…I have never had my taxes lowered no matter what party is in power, except that when all is said and done when the Republicans are voted out of office there are huge national deficits and the economy is almost ruined…except this time when George Bush, Jr. was in office the world’s economy did go down the tubes and the Republicans just keep blaming the Democrats…it is now so crucial that millions of us feel that it no longer matters what party saves the day…this country just needs to be saved and that certainly includes the polluted environment. Weak oil leak recovery??? FYI…our government really does not have the resources to quell this kind of disaster, yet you believe that the “too much government” should solve all your greedy problems.
