Center For Immigration Studies Seeks To Undermine Myths

May 18, 2010 by

Center for Immigration Studies seeks to undermine mythsAlthough many proponents of immigration claim that foreigners living in the United States only take jobs that Americans don’t want to do, a new report from the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) suggests otherwise.

According to the independent research institution that examines the impact of immigration on the U.S., competition with immigrants—both legal and illegal—partly explains the decline of the share of U.S.-born teens in the labor force that has been observed in recent decades.

The report, titled A Drought of Summer Jobs: Immigration and the Long-Term Decline in Employment Among U.S.-Born Teenagers, found that the summer of 2009 was the worst ever for job-seeking U.S.-born teenagers (ages 16-19), with only one-third of them working.

Moreover, although the bad economy has contributed to this situation, the report found that between the summers of 1994 and 2000—when the economy was expanding—the labor force participation of U.S.-born teens declined from 64 percent to 61 percent, and by the summer of 2007 it was down to 48 percent.

According to CIS estimates, immigrants and teenagers tend to do the same type of work. In fact, in the 10 occupations employing the most U.S.-born teenagers, one in five workers was an immigrant in 2007.ADNFCR-1961-ID-19775680-ADNFCR

Chaos factor the troops that are already here are from GERMANY, BRITAN,NICARAGUA,CHINA, JAPAN, BULGARIA, RUSSIA, CANADA. There are more than a million here preparing for MARTIAL LAW. Do yourself a favor and research it. NWO, MARTIAL LAW, NASA BLUE BEAM, MDCCLXXVI, FEMA CONCENTRATION CAMPS, MASONS, RFID CHIPS, PRINCE CHARLES OF WHALES. When you learn the truth dont wet your panties just take like a man and prepare yourself. By the way, the RFID chips are the health care bill set to be mandatory. Do not take the chips.

    • kate8

Antonio – You have done your homework!

Can’t wait to see if those namby-pambt liberals who always go after me for bringing that stuff up go after you, too. That bunch of self-important, entitlement-minded, spoiled crybabies can’t handle anything close to the truth.

      LOL.

      • Antonio

hey kate8 i copied and pasted a little bit about the chip thing from the health care bill. its on page 1001 its written in stupid language but it is the RFID chips!!!

        ‘‘National Medical Device Registry
        21 ‘‘(g)(1) The Secretary shall establish a national med22
ical device registry (in this subsection referred to as the
23 ‘registry’) to facilitate analysis of postmarket safety and
24 outcomes data on each device that—
25 ‘‘(A) is or has been used in or on a patient; and

        1 ‘‘(B) is—
        2 ‘‘(i) a class III device; or
3 ‘‘(ii) a class II device that is implantable,
        4 life-supporting, or life-sustaining.

      • kate8

Antonio – Actually, I heard that there was more specific language in the Immigration Reform Bill regarding the chip, including a timeline.

They’ve been chipping people in other countries already. India for one, and they’ve over a billion people. It’s being done in phases.

spent a little time in cartegena col. that was before the drug wars, quite an interesting place. always wanted to go back and visit, i met a beautiful young lady while shopping in a store. and her father was a shipping agent for grace lines. she invited me to her home that night, it was very formal and her parents kept us company the whole time i was there. her father offered me a job with grace lines if i would be interested in staying, beautiful people. my ship sailed the next day and i never had the opportunity to return.

  • Antonio

Kate8 yes i came from Colombia. Legally. I have quite a story, but to make it short I was a Police officer. I had a lot of problems like being on someone’s hit list. Have any idea what it’s like being a good Police man in Colombia??? I have been shot twice. Now you know.

    • kate8

      You’re a great American, Antonio.

      • Al Sieber

I know the feeling Antonio, I’ve been shot at twice also, here in Arizona you can shoot back and defend yourself, I don’t like doing it though.

  • Antonio

i meant Were you indoctrinated i was typing fast sorry

  • Antonio

Chaos factor Chuck b is right. Were indoctrinated in those public schools?? Anyways, the Alamo story is a good one. Mexico had a dictator i forget the name but its Antonio something and the “Tejanos” did not want to be a part of Mexico. Just so that you know, most of the people who died fighting in the Alamo were the Tejanos brown people not the gringos. Yes Spain owned Mexico up until 1860′s. Thats why they speak spanish and not mayan. It’s a shame their too stupid to know their own history. So go blame Spain and get an education too

    • Al Sieber

I believe Mexico gained it’s independence from Spain in 1824, and the general’s name was Santa Anna.

    • HeadOutOfSandintoHell

First thanks for becoming an American. You post was almost spot on but the Alamo happened during the the Presidency Of Santa Ana. That was the fight for freedom for Texas back when it was part of Mexico. It then formed the Republic of Texas which later succeeded to the US. It’s reason for joining the US was another grab by another Mexican President of which I can’t recall. That is refered to as the Spainish American War. It was at that time that the US fought off a Mexican invasion. After a poll was taken of New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and California the US offered and bought those territories whick all later voted to join with the Union of the United States. If I’m off please feel free to correct.

    chaos factor

if my memory serves me this country in the southwest belonged to the indian nations, the spanish invaded and layed claim, we bought this land from mexico they having immigrated to this land behind the spanish.
the mexican government sold this land to the u.s. at the conclusion of the mex-u.s. war. we won!!! now the mechistas think they own this land and want it back by invading with millions of illegals. i think not, and if worse comes to worse, these people might be biting a tiger on the leg. so factor dry your eyes. and if you have any thoughts that us whities are going to lay down and let you mechistas take this land by any means, you better go back and read your history, it will be worse this time. don’t tell me we can’t win and by the way what have you ever won?? and by the way if i were you it would be to your benefit to abide by the law and try to get along with us. you will never win in a fight. “we’ve proved that”

    • JC

      Absolutely right.

  • Chaos Factor

Are you having your book burning tonight?.. Or is it cross burning night?….most of you do know that the Southwest was once Mexico.. A clue might be to check the names if the citys , towns and countys….their in Spanish ….so why are you so confused as to why Spanish speaking people would want to come here?…their was a time not to longago when most the people in the west and southwest were Latino , Mexican or south American…and I suppose in fact in certin that their are people who think the west and southwest was stolen from Mexico… It’s a thought…you may not like it but you can’t change it…. The fastest growing population in America is Latino … And the fastest growing religion on the planet is Islam… If I were you I might think about trying to get along and live with other races because you cant win any racist fight…

    • Al Sieber

The S.W. belonged to the Native Americans 1st, then Spain, Mexico and we bought some of it from Mexico, and fought and won the rest. Mexico stole it from the Native Americans first. who owns it now? posession is 9/ 10th of the law.

  • Antonio

i meant order not oder jeje

  • Antonio

Kate8 hi your a great American. Thanks for your reply to my previous comment. I still think that the American people need to quit eating at the Mexican resturants, quit hiring them for your yard work, house cleaning, baby sitting, and everything else that will hurt them and might send some back home because there is no work. There are white and black people that do that. Seek and ye shall find. We need to exactly what DENNIS PHILLIPS did start reporting these jobs sites and have them picked up. Call your governers and tell them that you want them to oder there INS department to crack down on these sites.

    • kate8

Antonio, I agree with you. I don’t do business with anyone who hires illegals.
Didn’t you say that you immigrated to America? Well, I’m proud to call you a fellow American. We need people like you.

  • http://Yahoo Dennis Phillips

The last good job I worked before I fell from a scaffold I was a foreman building 6 story steel and concrete steps at a colledge in Greenville, N.C.
The company that had all the masonary work had an all Mexican crew and I tried to get a friend that was a block mason on and nothing doing. they had all they needed but there were new Mexicans popping up every day or two.
I got into it with the boss and neary got fired from my job but I got his a$$ back.
I called the cops, the FBI, and I forget who else but I wish you had seen that place when they all came pulling up about 9 am a few days later. Them suckers were running in every direction and heck, I don’t think they caught but maye 5 of them.
Out of a crew of about 30-40 men when they showed up there wasn’t even enough left to work that day.
The next day it was back to usuall except most of the ones that had been there weren’t there.
It was a whole new legal bunch so the others just swapped places they were working at.

  • kate8

I am posting this one more time for those who missed it. This was sent to me, and it explains what is behind the immigration problem. It is shocking. We need to understand this if we are going to find a way to fix it.

    ———————————————————————-

We know Dick Lamm as the former Governor of Colorado .. In that context his thoughts are particularly poignant. Last week there was an immigration overpopulation conference in Washington , DC , filled to capacity by many of America ‘s finest minds and leaders. A brilliant
college professor by the name of Victor Hansen Davis talked about his latest book, ‘Mexifornia’, explaining how immigration – both legal and illegal was destroying the entire state of California . He said it would march across the country until it destroyed all vestiges of The American Dream.

Moments later, former Colorado Governor Richard D. Lamm stood up and gave a stunning speech on how to destroy America .

The audience sat spellbound as he described eight methods for the destruction of the United States . He said, ‘If you believe that America is too smug, too self-satisfied, too rich, then let’s destroy America . It is not that hard to do. No nation in history has survived the ravages of time. Arnold Toynbee observed that all great civilizations rise and fall and that ‘An autopsy of history would show that all great nations commit suicide.”

‘Here is how they do it,’ Lamm said:

‘First, to destroy America , turn America into a bilingual or multi-lingual and bicultural country… History shows that no nation can survive the tension, conflict, and antagonism of two or more competing languages and cultures. It is a blessing for an individual to be bilingual; however, it is a curse for a society to be bilingual. The historical scholar, Seymour Lipset, put it this way:
‘The histories of bilingual and bicultural societies that do not assimilate are histories of turmoil, tension, and tragedy.’ Canada , Belgium , Malaysia , and Lebanon all face crises of national existence in which minorities press for autonomy , if not independence. Pakistan and Cyprus have divided. Nigeria suppressed an ethnic rebellion. France faces difficulties with Basques, Bretons, Corsicans and Muslims.’

    Lamm went on:

‘Second, to destroy America , invent ‘multiculturalism’ and encourage immigrants to maintain their culture. Make it an article of belief that all cultures are equal; that there are no cultural differences. Make it an article of faith that the Black and Hispanic dropout rates are due solely to prejudice and discrimination by the majority. Every other explanation is out of bounds.

‘Third, we could make the United States an ‘Hispanic Quebec ‘ without much effort. The key is to celebrate diversity rather than unity. As Benjamin Schwarz said in the Atlantic Monthly recently: ‘The apparent success of our own multi-ethnic and multicultural experiment might have been achieved not by tolerance but by hegemony. Without the dominance that once dictated ethnocentricy and what it meant to be an American, we are left with only tolerance and pluralism to hold us together.’ Lamm said, ‘I would encourage all immigrants to keep their own language and culture. I would replace the melting pot metaphor with the salad bowl metaphor. It is important to ensure that we have various cultural subgroups living in America enforcing their differences rather than as Americans, emphasizing their similarities.’

‘Fourth, I would make our fastest growing demographic group the least educated. I would add a second underclass, unassimilated, undereducated, and antagonistic to our population. I would have this second underclass have a 50% dropout rate from high school.’

‘My fifth point for destroying America would be to get big foundations and business to give these efforts lots of money. I would invest in ethnic identity, and I would establish the cult of
‘Victimology…’ I would get all minorities to think that their lack of success was the fault of the majority. I would start a grievance industry blaming all minority failure on the majority plation.’

‘My sixth plan for America ‘s downfall would include dual citizenship, and promote divided loyalties. I would celebrate diversity over unity. I would stress differences rather than similarities. Diverse people worldwide are mostly engaged in hating each other – that is, when they are not killing each other. A diverse, peaceful, or stable society is against most historical precept. People undervalue the unity it takes to keep a nation together. Look at the ancient Greeks. The Greeks believed that they belonged to the same race; they possessed a common language and literature; and they worshipped the same gods. All Greece took part in the Olympic games.. A common enemy, Persia , threatened their liberty. Yet all these bonds were not strong enough to overcome two factors: local patriotism and geographical conditions that nurtured political divisions. Greece fell. ‘Ex Pluribus Unum’ — From many, one. In that historical reality, if we put the emphasis on the ‘pluribus’ instead of the ‘Unum,’ we will ‘Balkanize’ America as surely as Kosovo.’

‘Next to last, I would place all subjects off limits. Make it taboo to talk about anything against the cult of diversity.’ I would find a word similar to ‘heretic’ in the 16th century – that stopped discussion and paralyzed thinking. Words like ‘racist’ or ‘xenophobe’ halt discussion and debate. Having made America a bilingual/bicultural country, having established multi-cultum, having
the large foundations fund the doctrine of ‘Victimology,’ I would next make it impossible to enforce our immigration laws. I would develop a mantra: That because immigration has been good for America , it must always be good. I would make every individual immigrant symmetric and ignore the cumulative impact of millions of them.’

In the last minute of his speech, Governor Lamm wiped his brow. Profound silence followed. Finally he said, ‘Lastly, I would censor Victor Hanson Davis’s book ‘Mexifornia.’ His book is dangerous. It exposes the plan to destroy America .. If you feel America deserves to be destroyed, don’t read that book.’

There was no applause. A chilling fear quietly rose like an ominous cloud above every attendee at the conference. Every American in that room knew that everything Lamm enumerated was proceeding methodically, quietly, darkly, yet pervasively across the United States today. Discussion is being suppressed. Over 100 languages are ripping the foundation of our educational system and national cohesiveness. Even barbaric cultures that practice female genital mutilation are growing as we celebrate ‘diversity.’ American jobs are vanishing into the Third World as corporations create a Third World in America Take note of California and other states. To date, ten million illegal aliens and growing fast. It is reminiscent of George Orwell’s book ’1984..’ In that story, three slogans are engraved in the Ministry of Truth building: ‘War is peace,’ ‘Freedom is slavery,’ and ‘Ignorance is strength..’

Governor Lamm walked back to his seat. It dawned on everyone at the conference that our nation and the future of this great democracy is deeply in trouble and worsening fast. If we don’t get this immigration monster stopped within three years, it will rage like a California wildfire and destroy everything in its path, especially The American Dream.

    • Steve

      Kate,
I have read that several times now and it is chilling! I copied it yesterday from the other page, and emailed it to my list, and have gotten more responses back than on any other mail I’ve sent for months.
      ………………………………………………………………………………………….

For everyone who hasn’t seen this. Here is a link to the petition that Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer & Sarah Palin set up. Please go and sign this petition supporting Arizonas SB 1070, because they are going to use it to show that Arizonas new law has support from ALL the American people, when Obama and his socialist cohorts in congress try to circumvent their new law in the courts, or with one of their own watered down bills, or with amnesty.

      • JC

And the left once again makes no point whatsoever but does manage to spew some venom. perfectly understandable what with being a bunch of reptiles dependant on Obama.

  • http://PersonalLibertyDigest Paul W. Brock

I have friends who are independent contractors sheet rock hangers, carpenters etc and they are unemployed and illegals are doing their jobs for the big construction companies that have hired them. There are jobs being done by illegals that Americans would do. I am very suspicious of any study that denies the impact of illegals on AMerican job. It may be a myth that they take jobs Americans won’t do. PB

  • william ahrens

Our Federal representatives collectively are guilty of malfeasance allowing a forign power to invade our country in the millions, which constitutionally they are mandated not to allow. Its not that they can’t seal the borders they don’t want to. Why? Is the drug business that powerful or is there a more sinister reason?

  • DaveH

The number of jobs in the economy is limited only by our imaginations and government meddling. Do you folks honestly think there are only a fixed number of jobs available that can be taken from us?
The economy is elastic. The only thing preventing jobs from being created is all the red tape created by government and the fact that they are draining our financial resources and spending them on non-productive ventures.
If you can’t find a job, create your own. Well, that is if you have the resources to plow through all the legal barriers to starting you own business, such as licensing requirements which typically do no more for society than to protect the entrenched players from competition. Imagine, for instance, that we had all of today’s code and licensing requirements back in Lincoln’s day. We would now probably be living in log cabins because it is very unlikely that the then-existing vested and licensed home builders would have ever allowed the competition of somebody who brazenly suggested building Frame Houses.
Why is it that Hong Kong and Singapore can get along with Government spending 15% of GDP, and the United States (the so-called bastion of freedom) must spend 37% of GDP? That is 22% more of GDP than they spend on Government. Our GDP is about $14 Trillion. So that means we should be able to get along with Government Spending of $3 Trillion a year less than we spend now. That amounts to about $12000 a year per adult savings we could have if our Government was the size of Hong Kong’s or Singapore’s. Imagine what you could do with $12000 extra each year?

    • kate8

DaveH, Jobs are only part of the problem. There are millions who come here for other reasons.

It also has to do with our quality of life. With our population soaring almost completely from immigration, we are flooding our homeland with such numbers of foreigners who don’t care one bit about honoring America. We are a collection of incompatible cultures and languages, have differing values (don’t play by the same rules), and are a nation divided.

Crime rates have soared, and we have foreigners openly advocating doing away with “white America” and taking over.

When did being American mean we have to be suicidal?

      • DaveH

Then let’s address it from those points of view, not as a jobs issue. I am not advocating illegal immigration. I just want to counter the propaganda that our poor economy results from illegal workers. I want to put the blame for our bad economy where it belongs – on the shoulders of Big Government.

      • http://?? Joe H.

        DaveH,
Part of our economy is caused by these trespassers! the taxes we end up paying are increased each and every year because of the freebies they get. higher taxes mean just that much less we have to spend. the less we have to spend the lower the demand. The lower the demand, the lower the number of jobs!

  • http://gmail i41

Easy way to clean up this illegal problem, is still put a bounty on them. Reagan wanted businesses fined for hiring illegals. It will not do any good to give them a free trip to the border. When I was in Denver in the late 90′s , INS would load up bus loads, and go south, some illegals were back before the buses got back. The “offical Mexican restruants” only hired illegals and nothing every happened to the resturant. All state should enact the same bill as Az. I’m pushing my state elected officals, we’ll see. If we catch an illegal do like we brand horses freeze brand them. If they are dark skinned it will show up white, permant tattoo.

  • Antonio

The one thing that i would like to say about this is that most of these problems have been caused by the American man. They hire the illegals dont they??? Always trying to save a buck. You peolple know im right, so dont just put the blame on the illegals. Now dont get me wrong, i’m against illegal immgration too. I’m just saying that it’s not all the illegals fault. To go a little deeper, there is something else that you might want to know. When a Mexican man is looking for a job at a construction site the white man gives him the opportunity. But, When the Mexicano guy starts his on crew he will not hire white men they only hire their fellow people. Then they call you racist’s. Funny stuff huh. Have you ever gone to a Mexican resturant and saw any white people working there??? I dont mean places like (on the boarder) i mean the real Mexican places. They dont hire the white man. I thought that you commited discrimination if you didn’t hire a Mexican man?? How they dont have to hire a white man??? And you know whats really funny about all that??? The man floods these Mexican resturants everyday!!! You hire the Mexican landscapers to do your yard work, The white builder’s hire the Mexican crew’s to build the houses or whatever else. If you were smart you would boycott those poeple.

    • http://www.lostnation.blogspot.com Jerry D

A very good point, Antonio. And, it’s true. There are fines for that, but so few times are they turned in that it’s largely ineffective.

      • http://?? Joe H.

        Jerry,
Did you see the link for the vid that shows a hispanic teacher calling for war in the US by La Razza??? There’s one that needed to be enforced on by the local government under trying to incite violence! If we do that, as citizens, we would be carted off to jail and at least get about 30 days. they do it and even IF they ARE arrested, the ACLU, the revs, and every other bleedin heart group under the sun would be fighting to represent them!!!

    • kate8

Antonio, we’ve all seen this. It seems that being white in today’s America makes one automatically personna non grata. Of course, that is by design.

And you are right. These illegals are told that they can get lots of money if they sneak into America, and we all know how it is when some people know that something is technically wrong but “everyone is doing it”. They come here expecting to find stupid Americans who just want to get by on the cheap, and that is what they find. Who can blame them.

But they also need to face the reality of the situation and get the word back home that America can no longer tolerate their influx. It’s time everyone wakes up to the fact that Americans should not have to sacrifice themselves just because someone else wants what we…used to have.

  • Meteorlady

We have a government that is refusing to enforce it’s laws. We don’t need immigration reform, we need enforcement. If this government will not do it, everyone in this country needs to turn in every single illegal that they know of. We need to stop doing business with employers that hire them. We need to spread the work about what businesses are using them so we can stop supporting that business. If the government will not do it we all need to keep writing and demanding that they do it. Eisenhower did deported illegals (over 8 million in two years) as did two other president in our history. They did it to get jobs back for Americans.

They are in the construction trades down here and they have taken all the good paying jobs. Since they don’t have to pay taxes, SS, Medicare or have health insurance they make their $12.00 per hour. The poor citizen that has to work and pay all of the above makes far less and now can’t support his family. Those jobs used to pay $20/$40 per hour.

We have an unemployment rate that is far higher than the government tells us and we keep allowing these people to live and work here. They commit murder in our streets and homes, steal our identities, rob our cars and houses, sell drugs, do home invasions, and the gangs and drug people are carrying out wars on our borders. The rest of United States and all the do gooders that believe they are taking low paying jobs and can’t make it their own country need to suck it up and learn the facts because all of this is coming to your town.

Make no mistake – there is a war on our southern borders and we are loosing right now. Police in southern California say there is nothing they could do if the Mexicans wanted to take over – they are sadly out numbered and they refuse to actually go to some places in their cities to try and enforce the law – it’s just too dangerous.

Mexico is one of the MOST corrupt countries and we don’t need people that have little or no respect for the law – nor do we need people that continually have more children than they can afford and expect the rest of us to care for them. We don’t need more uneducated people that will run for the welfare office as soon as they get amnesty we have enough dead beats right now that we can’t afford to support for much longer.

    • Teresa

Turn the illegals into whom? (see my previous post) You call INS and get threatened.

    • http://www.lostnation.blogspot.com Jerry D

Meteorlady, right on! Of course, the government doesn’t want them reported, but if everyone turned in one or two, there would be such an uproar that something might actually get done.

    • kate8

Meteorlady, you have a really good point. Since the government isn’t going to enforce the law, and doesn’t care about Americans, it is up to us citizens to do something about it. As you said, if we stop doing business with ANY and ALL businesses who hire illegals, they would quickly feel the crunch.

It will take us doing this in large numbers, and we’ll have to do the research to see who is doing it. And it could mean doing without things we are used to having. But I would think it would be effective.

We need to somehow launch a campaign, a boycott. Of course, we’d be subject to all kinds of retribution from the government, but what else is new.

  • Robin from Arcadia, IN

My two teens have found it difficult to find work even living in the midwest! Those who are here illegally are breaking our laws. What more do we need to deport them back? Arizona really is courageous! I hope all other states follow quickly in their footsteps!

  • jomama

My friend was a mason once. His company hired some illegals from Guatemala & the boss told him to teach them (the illegals) how to lay brick. My friend used to make $40.00 per hour.
Well, since the Guatemalens made only $12.00 per hour & my frind made $40.00 per hour – who do you think they kept to lay the brick??
Needless to say – my friend is now 50 years old & digging holes for a fence company now making $16.00 per hour.
Everyone around here in Massachusetts would rather hire the Brazilian that knows absolutely NOTHING about United States laws on fire protection or how to keep a house warm in the winter – because it’s cheaper to hire the Brazilian that came right from the Amazon!!
Tell me – what do they know about building when they lived in cardboard boxes before they came into the United States illegally/overstayed their visas??
I LOVE ARIZONA!!! JAN BREWER FOR PRESIDENT!!!

    • LegalImmigrant!

Yes, I live in Connecticut, worked in residential construction for a couple of decades now. I have a grandson who has not been able to find any job since he finished high school. I thought it was due to the economic downturn, but I can see how that is far from the overwhelming factor for lack of jobs for teens. He finally started in a part time job which eventually (hopefully) turn into something better. I would add to this whole picture the fact that we as the American people, consumers, home owners, voters, and all the other obligatory and privileges we have to start acting as Americans, not only as a consumer that is looking for the cheapest price on a product, or the homeowner that is looking for the cheapest way of replacing his/her roof. We as Americans can control our society if we are willing to pay the price, take a few hits and make a few sacrifices. What is our freedom worth?! How far would we go to protect it?! It all comes down to price, does it not?, one way or another. I thank God for the people that are writing comments on this blog, it makes me think that there is still a good number of us freedom loving Americans that are willing to stand up and fight for what we believe in! Don’t forget to cast your vote for FREEDOM in November. God Bless our nation! Like it have always been, it is still America which stands as a beacon up on that hill!

I have been saying this same thing for years. It began shortly after NAFTA. Places that normally use high school kids don’t like having to keep retraining people as most of these kids graduate to better jobs. This is an expense to them that they can avoid by using illegals that will remain with them. The loss of these jobs for American kids though has had a terrible effect on our country. Kids are not obtaining proper work ethics, and end up with too much time on their hands getting into trouble, and expecting their parents to buy them everything. They should be learning to earn what they want.

One reason companies like illegal aliens for workers is because they can cut corners on safety. My son works in a chicken processing plant. The company actually pays $1000 bonuses to hire illegals rather than the locals who line up for any job. They don’t bother to insure the locals for work injuries. When one is injured, they rush them to the hospital and call INS to report “finding” an illegal worker. The government (us) then pays for the medical treatment rather than the company.

Further, there is a power move. If they want the American workers to work 7-12 hr days a week, many will refuse. But the illegals won’t because if they do the company has INS ship them out. The illegals know it.

Please tell us what the name of the processing plant is so I can stop buying that chicken. You son should all ICE and have the place raided. He doesn’t have to give his name.

I tried to call INS when I suspected illegals were building our new taxpayer funded schools. They threaten you with false allegations as criminal before you choose to continue the call. Who is going to continue the call after being threatened like that?

My father was offered a lucrative position in the Federal Government after he came home from WWII. He was, of course, interested but even more so he wanted to know why information he had sent to the State Department wasn’t acted upon, information that he said could have saved 257 American lives if it had been acted upon. In a rare moment of candor his immediate superior told him that the problem was that there were just as many people working against us as there were for us. That clinched it for my dad and he decided he did not want anything to do with government in the District of Corruption and went instead into education. It is obvious that things have not changed but have gotten worse. Remember to vote in November. It could make all the difference in the world.

Our “open borders” policy is part of the New World Order’s game-plan. They visualize a world government where national governments are just its agencies. This was the intent of the United Nations. However the illegal immigration of Mexicans has now become a militant invasion. Just recently, Robert Krentz, of Cochise County Arizona was murdered by an illegal immigrant, who high-tailed it back into Mexico, then Mexican drug smugglers used his land to store 290 pounds of marijuana. They also robbed and vandalized Krentz’s property.

James, you’re right. There are solid plans in place right now to create a North American Union. Eventually, the UN hopes to be a world government with regional governments (roughly equivalent to the various continents) under its thumb. That’s always the goal of socialism. The problem is, the conspiracy is so large that the average person can’t imagine it as being true.

  • Al Sieber

Jeez, I thought they only took jobs Americans didn’t want.

  • s c

Look at it this way, folks. If the social engineers and elected disinformation masters in Washington had their way, Americans would be totally dependent on this pathetic government, and it would indeed be true that illegals would be doing things “we” don’t want to do.
However, in the real world, we owe it to ourselves to know the TRUTH. If illegals are taking jobs from A to Z, then you can be damned sure that our elected weasels have MUCH to hide by ‘manufacturing’ and controlling every bit of information associated with this contrived bull crap.
What are you HIDING, Washington? And WHY are you so AFRAID of the TRUTH?

I have been saying this very same thing all along. there are illegals taking drywall, carpentry, construction, mechanic, welding, meat packing, restaurant, landscaping, nursury jobs all over the United States as well as working the fields!!! the jobs that college kids have historically taken as summer jobs are being taken from them as well!! Jalapeno Loco restaurants were busted in this area not too long ago for knowingly employing illegals and all I heard they got was a modest fine and the illegals were sent home!!! What a crock!

    • Steve

      Joe;
Could you elaborate on where these illegals were sent “home to”? Were they actually sent back home to Mexicoke, or were they sent “home” to their taxpayer funded government subsidized houses here in the U.S.?

      • Meteorlady

Steve – these people are sent home at taxpayer expense. Usually on buses, but if they have health issues we fly them home. Now here’s the really great part – after they go back the immigration people actually collect their final paychecks and send it to them – at least they used to when I worked there. Most times the illegals is back working before the bus is back.

If you know about a place that hires them – STOP DOING BUSINESS WITH THAT PLACE. They work a lot in restaurants so they will be back to the one mentioned above in short order. Mexicans stick together so a Mexican business person will hire illegals all day long because they work cheap and for cash.

Oh I forgot another important thing. When I worked for immigration in Seattle the local la Raza communist would come and inquire about anyone we held that would allow him to get publicity. He loved pregnant women and would bring the news media with him while he went around trying to get her released. He wore a kaki shirt with red scarf and the new media sucked it up. Then the local legal aid (subsidized with taxpayer money) would show up – Evergreen Legal Services – to represent the illegal. Immigration hearings are cut and dried but these the legal services people showed up because it upped their head count and they got more government money the next year. Quite a scam wouldn’t you say?

      • http://www.lostnation.blogspot.com Jerry D

It’s a sad state of affairs when our own government cares more for the welfare of illegal aliens than the working, taxpaying people of this nation.

      • Steve

Thanks Meteorlady. I didn’t know that they ever sent any of them back. I thought the ACLU always stepped in and tied their cases up in court for years.

      • Disgusted

        Amen, Steven, Amen!!

      • http://?? Joe H.

        Steve,
As far as I’m concerned, they don’t have a “home” here when they are illegal, so when I say they were sent home I mean Mexico!

      • Steve

O.K. Joe, I agree with your statement, but O’Liar, thinks the U.S. is their home, and the illegals think the U.S. is their home, so I wasn’t sure.
The ILLEGALS are taking my tax money for their government subsidized houses, their welfare checks, their food stamps, their medical care, their public schooling, and the cost of their incarceration in our jails, so I just figured this may be their “home” ;-)
