Palin Blames Obama For Arizona Immigration Law

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin blamed President Obama last week for forcing Arizona to pass aggressive new immigration laws.
While speaking at an event sponsored by Arizona Governor Jan Brewer, who signed off on the legislation last month, Palin noted that the state’s efforts to combat illegal immigration were necessary because the White House has yet to put a Federal plan in place.
"It’s time for Americans across this great country to stand up and say, ‘We’re all Arizonans now,’" Palin said. "And in clear unison we say, ‘Mr. President: Do your job. Secure our border.’"
The former vice presidential candidate also encouraged citizens to speak out against the boycotts of Arizona and visit the Grand Canyon State.
"If you want to halt the human rights abuses that have resulted from our failed border security policy, come visit Arizona," she said. "You could say that here, they’re doing the job that our Federal government will not do."
Palin appeared with Brewer at a news conference to announce the launch of a new website designed to help promote stricter border security, according to The Associated Press (AP). The site, called ‘Secure the Border’, lists all the politicians and organizations that have boycotted Arizona, and asks supporters to email them their thoughts.
