Pelosi asks the Catholic Church to embrace immigration reformWhile speaking at the Nation’s Catholic Community conference last week, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi pleaded with religious leaders to "instruct" their followers to support immigration reform, according to Fox News.

Pelosi, who is Catholic, told the group of sisters, priests and activists that the church will play an important in shaping the future political landscape.

"The cardinals, the archbishops, the bishops that come to me … say, ‘We want you to pass immigration reform,’ and I said, I want you to speak about it from the pulpit," Pelosi told the audience.

"Some [who] oppose immigration reform are sitting in those pews, and you have to tell them that this is a manifestation of our living the gospels," she added.

Meanwhile, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer denied Senator Chuck Schumer’s (D-N.Y.) request last week that she delay the implementation of the state’s new immigration law. Just a day earlier, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, Border Security and Refugees asked the governor to hold off on enforcing the law for one year so Congress could work on developing a federal immigration proposal.

    Immigration Reform in the United States of America

    It is here by ordered, The State Department of the United States of America shall notify every Country, on this planet, They have 30 (thirty) days to retrieve all citizens of their Country who are in our Country illegally.

    On the 31st (thirty-first) day, ALL illegal people in this Country will be considered hostile to the United States of America, hostile to the laws of the United States of America, and hostile to the citizens of the United States of America.

    Illegal people in the United States of America will not be tolerated by the Government of the United States of America, or the citizens of the United States of America. Any citizen of the United States of America who gives any aid or comfort, of any kind, to illegal people shall be considered hostile to the United States of America, hostile to the laws of the United States of America, and hostile to the citizens of the United States of America, and shall be subject to the same penalties as a person in this Country illegally.

    It shall be the responsibility of any person, who is suspected of being in this Country illegally, to provide undisputed proof of their citizenship, or proof of their privilege of being a guest in this Country.

    No law, or person, or Government body shall interfere with Law Enforcement personnel to enforce Proof of Citizenship for the United States of America.

    Those people who are in this Country illegally shall have no rights or benefits on the 31st (thirty-first) day after notification is given to their Country of citizenship. The only right or benefit an illegal person has prior to that date is; the right to board the ship or aircraft provided by the Home Country of the illegal person. The ship or aircraft shall be coordinated by the Home Country and the State Department of the United States of America. No person shall be allowed to exit the ship or aircraft from the Home Country.

    No person will be stopped by the United States of America from boarding said ship or aircraft from a Home Country unless they are suspected in murder, rape, or espionage. If such person is found innocent of said crimes they will be granted deportation.

    Those illegal people who do not take advantage of the opportunity to leave this Country within the stated time frame shall be incarcerated for no less than 25 (twenty-five) years. Persons incarcerated, as an illegal, shall do work that will cover the cost of their incarceration. Work shall include, but not limited to, mowing or trash collection, or sewer maintenance. At no time will a person in this Country illegally be granted full or temporary citizenship in this Country.

    No child, born in this Country, will be considered a citizen of this Country who is the child of a person in this Country illegally. If both parents are not legal citizens of this Country the child will not be considered a legal citizen of this Country.

    No person who marries a legal citizen of this Country will automatically be considered a legal citizen of this Country and will be considered as a person in this Country illegally.

    Any person who displays, in any form, loyalty to another Country, while in this Country shall be consider as a enemy of the United States of America, hostile to the United States of America, hostile to the laws of the United States of America, and hostile to the citizens of the United States of America.

    English is the official, and only, language of the United States of America.

    The United Nation building shall be closed and moved to any island, not within 300 miles of the United States of America.

    Any person who is not a legal citizen of this Country can attend any school, primary, secondary, or Vocational in the United States of America. A school may locate outside of this Country, if the State Department has approved it.

    Tourist shall enter this Country at a known and established point of entry, and remain within 10 miles of the stated tourist attraction, for the duration of their visit. No visit shall exceed 21 (twenty one) days.

    Diplomatic immunity does not exist in this Country.

    No person shall be allowed in any law enforcement or military employment that is not a legal citizen of this Country.

    No person in this Country illegally, or is not a legal citizen of this Country, shall be permitted or allowed to demonstrate or protest in any public place in this Country.

    No person in this Country illegally, or is not a legal citizen of this Country, shall be permitted or allowed to own, have or possess a weapon, explosives material or firearm any place in this Country.

    No person in this Country illegally shall be allowed to leave this Country with anything exceeding the value of $100.00 (one hundred) American Dollars, including cash or clothing.

    Any person who has at anytime been in this Country illegally shall never be allowed to enter this Country under any circumstance.

    Any foreign national who has caused harm, contributed to the harm, or advocates harm to citizens of this Country, or any American interest of this Country shall never be allowed to enter this Country under any circumstance.

    The freedom and/or protection of American Citizens, and their rights, in this Country shall not ever be questioned based upon the price tag.

    The interest and well being of American citizens shall always come ahead of any foreign national or foreign nation.

      Just two things. 1. We don’t have enough prisons and I don’t want to feed and house illegals for 25 years. How about we re-instate chain gangs. Let them pay their own way. 2. We have to have diplomatic immunity here because we want to have our diplomats extended diplomatic immunity in other countries. Other than that, vote YES!

      There are a couple of things that should be changed. First, limit the jail time to one year for being here illegally. 25 years would require too many prisons which are expensive. But you could make the prisons like the tent prisons of Sheriff Joe in AZ. You should also stop all transfer of cash by any means to another country. You cannot end diplomatic immunity because that would mean our people would lose it in other countries. But it is SUPPOSED to be used only for diplomats so it could be changed to mean that. The border should also be secured – by the military as it is in other countries including Mexico. With orders to stop illegals from entering by any means including shooting as is done in other countries including Mexico.

      But, by and large, this is a good attempt.

They want to keep coming without any limitations whatsoever. They pretty much dare us to stop them and let me tell you one thing for sure…. WE WILL one way or another!! What about the separation of church and state these maggots shove down our throats? It’s ok when it suits them. Pelosi is NO Christian and not even a good catholic for that matter, according to the books. If the C.C agree’s, she has found a powerful ally. If they don’t agree, then she has a platform to critisize Christianity as a whole, lumping the C.C with all Christians. I look for her to use this as a pole for making the Church appear apathethic to the issue.

    Nothing this woman does surprises me anymore. I can guarantee she will not be voted out of office – she represents California – think about it. She should have been removed from office just for calling the tea party goers “racists and unamerican”. Politicians make me sick. They announced last week that one of our states congressman is stepping down because he is just worn out – well I probably would be too if I had gone into office with a networth of about $500,000 and came out with a networth of about $5,000,000 – that’s a lot of a$$ kissing and back door dealing – I would be worn out too. How does a congressman acrue that kind of wealth on their yearly salary? Makes you wonder! The entire government needs to be given a reality check!

    I keep reading everything I can about whats going on with the polititions in this country today, not protecting our boarders sideing with outsiders against its own citizens screaming about seperation of church and state then directing the church from the white house to preach propoganda to its people. Now I hear that the govt is going to take over the internet just like the commies in china did( maybe since we owe china so much money their ready to collect our souls, thats what happens when you make a deal with the devil) On top of all of this the march by this so called administration to to destroy the very fabric of our constitution is well under way. there are so many things that this band of thieves are doing I could sit here all day and still not list them all so here is my question to anyone who feels they have a solution, how are we going to save our country from those who are on the fast track to destroying it. I keep hearing examples of the destruction but no solutions to stopping it. I am retired so I have lived a fruitfull life.I have faced many things in my life many of them horiffic, and Ive never been afraid. However today I am terrified not for myself because personaly I fear nothing. But truly I fear for my four Beutifull Grandaughters who will be growing up in this to be the former democrocy known as The United States Of America. Does anyone out there have the answer?

There is only one solution I fear and it isn’t pretty and I think it’s what the regime really wants from us so we have to be prepared and very careful before we begin.       It says, “If my people which are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray, I will hear from heaven and heal their land.

      I.e. if enough sincere and active Christians humble themselves and pray for God to make our land straight and prosperous again, He will do it.

      We will also have to vote for good people, not necessarily a given party. Ask God for whom to vote, and read the platforms and the data on what the candidates have done.

      I believe God is rthe only one who cn do it, and people need to pray with pure hearts, and those who cn work at cleaning up the evil do so, God will crry out his end of the bargain.

      Separation of Church and State basically became something the STATE wants. They want any Christian out of the state’s business. It wasn’t intended to be that way originally. Our Founding Fathers insisted that good Christians should be the ones in office making decisions since they would more likely make decisions based on what is best for the country and not for themselves. But it is a convenient cry when some politician is caught with his hand in the till or in someone else’s pants. The First Amendment does not state there should be a separation of church and state as the politicians want you to think. It states that there shall not be a government church to prevent others from worshipping as they prefer.

    Not only is she a disgrace to the catholic faith, she is a digrace to our nation as speaker of the house. If Washington did their job, perhaps the state of Arizona would be feeling safer today. My thought about illegal immigrants and those here legally…it is like owning a radar detector for speed tickets..if you aren’t speeding in the first place, you wouldn’t even need it . If you are legally in the states, you shouldn’t have concerns of being asked. If a police officer ever asks me for proof of US citizenship..I would thank him for caring for our nations welfare…which all people of all races & are US citizens should do.. thank him for being concern for our safety and financial welfare. Shame on Pelosi and the Obama adfministration for not supporting the states with such serious immigration concerns..and it is many now.

    Wow, what more needs to be added to the denouncement of Queen Pelosi’s comments except one thing…I am not Catholic, but had the opportunity to rear my daughter with their assistance through Catholic schools and later graduate from a Catholic university. One thing I did learn is when the Sisters speak about things political, look for the twinkle in their eyes. I think inviting her to speak was an excellent set-up by the church to demonstrate her true colors. Well done, folks.

      There is NO SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE!!!! That is a flat out lie. All the laws based on this concept are unconstitutional.That is no where in our constitution. That was written in a letter and the context of that was there was to be no state run church like England had. Our forefathers wrote and believed that or government cannot exist without God.

In the 20′s 30′s and 40′s, our History Books were RE-WRITTEN removing our Christian principles and making $$$$ – the economy the focus of our beliefs. How on earth can you RE-WRITE HISTORY!!     Pelousy is a “cafeteria Catholic”. In other words, she picks and chooses which things to believe. For instance, she believes in abortion – something the Catholic Church abhors. She was even told by the Pope himself that abortion is wrong and she ignored him. How the Catholics here can even listen to her, I don’t know. Her only concern about the illegals here is getting them to be Democrat voters. She couldn’t care less about their status in their home countries and she couldn’t care less about the Americans who are out of work and begging for any kind of job to pay their bills.

Once they come into the country their children have the highest drop out rate (close to 50% now) and end up on welfare further dragging down the economy. This Obama-nation is making me sick. Is Fox News now the only place we can go for the truth? I saw the clip and was disgusted. Nancy should be asking the church to pray for her soul because of her stance on abortion. Nancy, you don’t get to pick and choose the parts of the bible you want to support, just because you believe it will help get you more votes.     The one good thing that I believe will come from this congress and the Obama presidency is the fact that after November 2010 and November 2012 I will never have to see another Democrat controlled congress or another Democrat president running our country.     Hopefully Pelosi will never step foot in a McDonalds, for she would surely turn into a hamburger. I suprised that she was even able to verbalize such hypocrisy without chocking. I’m am able to continue on in the middle of all this septic environment, for I am convinced GOD will have the last say, and that HE will have it soon if we stand by our convictions, and are not silent.

    I thought the churches were not ALLOWED to instruct their members on political matters??? The churches would lose their exemption status if they preach “political” from the pulpit!!! I hope they do and we need to be prepared to report them to the IRS!! How about that Pelosi?
    I also agree with the above statements that she is no more a Catholic than Obama is a christian. Isn’t it it interesting that he and Michelle have not attended church since the election!!

      Churches can instruct their members on LIBERAL political matters. This is another example of the double standard that exists in our country – LIBERAL = good; CONSERVATIVE = evil.

        Churches can and many do instruct their members on what their “Book” says, as relates to life and real situations. Even Islaam!

        When you shut of religion and say keep it to the church interior, you are demanding the religions to not affect society, which is contrary to the direct orders in most religions and especially Christianity.

        It is NOT contrary to most churchianity. However, Muslims say to kill or enslave those who will not convert!

    Nancy Pelosi is a Catholic like I’m a gorilla. She embraces nothing that the Catholic church believes. I’m not a Catholic, but I’ve taught in a Catholic school and know that the church is deadly set against abortion, which Nancy Pelosi would love to see the church change its mind about. How dare she say that she is a Catholic. Why because she is registered with a church? If I live in a garage does that make me a car? You are what you believe.

    Where does Nancy Pelosi get off requesting anything from the Catholic church? She is pro-abortion. Why would the Catholic church give Pelosi a forum to talk on any subject? How can they still consider her a Catholic? Lot’s of hypocrisy here.

        Fed Up – Remember, the Catholic Church is quite large and worldly and has absolutely no dependence on the US Congress, Senate or President. Whatever the dimwit broad tries to do in her own parish means nothing or if that parish goes against the Mother Church is a different matter. There have always been people everywhere, whether they are politicians, nuns, priests, whomever, that somehow have created a delusion that they are above the laws of the Church or the land – and while the land may waiver now and then, the Church, at least in my lifetime, has been pretty steadfast, i.e. priests can’t marry, abortion is wrong, etc. And I do recall she was severely chastised last year by the Bishop for her stand on abortion.

        Libertytrain, The law of the land (U.S. law) says abortion is not murder because until one is “born…in the United States” one is not a “citizen” (14th Amendment), and until one is a citizen, s/he has no rights. The Catholic position is that killing a fetus is murder, but our Supreme Court is bound by the U.S. Constitution, not the church. Pelosi is Catholic but she is bound lawfully by the U.S. Consititution which she took an oath to uphold and defend.

        I didn’t question that at all so am confused by your reply. Pelosi doesn’t have any right to attempt to use her political “clout” to attempt to “influence” the Catholic Church – whether she claims to be Catholic or not -

        Tony, you are right about the some portion of the Catholic Church in the US may follow Pelosi “Doctrine” but the rest of the world or shall I say the Catholic Church as a whole has no interest in following the Pelosi “Doctrine.” We tend to forget that the US is just a small part of the whole Catholic Church.

        Dear Joe: To quote Edmond Burke “Evil only triumphs when good men do nothing”. W have lost a lot of our freedom because we stayed out of politics, guess what politics have not stayed away trom the churches, they have tried to muffle discent by using the so called wall of separation, but when they need help to further their agenda they use anything and anybody, I spent most of my adult life opposing oppressive goverments all over the world and I be dammned if I let them take over my country without a fight!!! WAKE UP!!!

        However, the Word of God applies to politics as well as any other life activity.

        If politics is good, it will agree with the statements in the Bible on conduct, and if she is good her actions will be in full conformance with what Jesus said and directed.

        AZ, San Franciscans will more than likely continue to vote Pelosi in unfortunately. What we need is to have a landslide vote in November and get the majority of Conservatives in the house then Pelosi could not be speaker any longer because her party would no longer be in power! It would be a WIN, WIN situation to say the least!

      It is beyond belief how one group (left wing) can continuously use dual standards and nobody is heard speaking against it. Although Pelosi’s act is not against the Constitution’s intended purpose of the 1st Ammendment, it slaps in the face of their interpretation. She should have just asked the church to consider giving up God and recognizing a worldly common power (her maybe) instead. Where did these people get power to silence truth and persuade people to discount common sense? How have people become so gullible?

        I agree with you. Sad to say, but many people seem to be willing to vote the devil him (or herself) in, when they think there’s something in it for them. Granted, there are exceptions…but for the most part Conservatives are typically blasted by the Left for being steadfast in their beliefs….when those criticizing the conservatives sit in the same churches and pretend while in church…then go into public with their cronies and do or say exactly opposite of what they just supposedly prayed about. The only thing that seems pretty obvious is that they must be willing to “fit in” at any and all costs. I think I would have more respect for them if they were just honest and open….regardless of whether I would agree…at least they would be honest then.

        CJ, Confusion arises from the long-time basic belief that all humans had a common origin (Adam and Eve) or the oldest know human discovered (the Black African ‘Eve’). With this common-origin belief, it’s only natural that one would want “immigration reform.” What they mean by that is the dissolution of all national borders and all racial barriers between mankind. As long as this common origin thinking prevails, further interracial mixing is inevitable.

        You have some confusion there. Catholics and Christians are two different peoples and two different philosophies. Two different religions.

        Christians follow the New Testament of the Bible as necessary and sufficient to know God. Catholics put Mary, and the pope, and several other saints between man and God, contrary to Christian beliefs.

        Catholics say you pray to Mary, or a saint, but Christians pray to God Himself, not a lesser created being.

        Catholics say men, priests, can forgive sins; Christians say only God can forgive sins. Catholics usually make money for forgiving sins, while Christians say there is no charge because God does it, not men!

        Oodles more differences, but they are NOT the same and the Pope speaks for Catholics only, not for Christianity.

        Please do not confuse the two!! Note the Catholics have to have a Bible translation much later than the Christian Bible, and containing texts of less certain origin to support their faith and practices.

        Those who call the two faiths one are simply not correct.

        While I can appreciate your opinion – I must say, in all my years, I don’t recollect ever being told a Catholic has to pay money for confessing his sins — wherever did you get that fable from?
