Sarah Palin And John McCain To Team In Upcoming Campaign

January 29, 2010 by

Sarah Palin and John McCain to team in upcoming campaign Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.) has asked his running mate in the 2008 presidential elections to help raise money for his reelection campaign, and they will appear together at a couple of events next month, according to media reports.

Palin is set to stump for McCain in Arizona on March 26 and 27, and her appearances will include a Phoenix fundraiser and a public event, most likely a rally, USA Today reported.

"I’m looking forward to getting back on the campaign trail with my former running mate, and I know my fellow Arizonans will welcome her, as well," McCain said.

"Sarah energized our nation and remains a leading voice in the Republican Party," he added.

At the moment, McCain’s primary challenge seems to be coming from conservative right, as former GOP congressman J.D. Hayworth, a conservative talk-show host, announced he will run against the incumbent for the republican nomination.

The primary election will be held on Aug. 24.

Meanwhile, Palin is also reported to be getting ready to hit the campaign trail in the coming months for other conservatives, including Texas Governor Rick Perry and Representative Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.).

Wait for it… the self-appointed true conservatives are about to turn on Sarah Palin. They tried to claim Sarah as one of their own, just as they’ve tried to hijack the TEA party, but the truth is coming out. Not only Sarah, but the other conservative hero, Scott “Hottie McAwesome” Brown, are both endorsing and campaigning for McCain….

Here’s the dirty truth: Conservatives wanted Obama to win. Conservatives wanted Obama to ruin this country. Why? So that they could pick up the pieces and convince everyone they are America’s savior. That’s why they attacked McCain so relentlessly during the election. Conservatives are just as threatened by McCain as Liberals are by Sarah – and for the same reason. As Rush said, if McCain won then the Republican party would never be the same.

McCain, Sarah and Scott Brown do not and will not play the party politics, and both the Dems and the Pubs know that. All three will clean out the trash in Washington – and neither the Dems nor the Pubs want that.

McCain is leading JD by 20+ points in polls of likely AZ voters. There’s a reason JD was voted out last time….

    • L, USA

Mia, You speak as a RINO driver and a useful idiot. McCain-Fiengold was a crimminal act against the American people. It is good that the Supreme Court of the United (Soveriegn) States struck it thru and destroyed it. The truth is thatin the Republican party political body seem to be dissolutioned by the left but it is, in fact, the effect of communism in America and even knit into the fabrick of the socio-political system. It MUST be taken out; only a true candidate can be a patriotic American leader. McCain needs to retire and rest his days, for the sake of the American people; With all due respect.

  • JDR Sr

Ya Grampy, there are several in AZ better than McCain or blow hard JD. They just have to flush’em out. The gop thinks you have to wait your turn, bs again. Just about any one could beat JD or ole Mac. One is a wanta be, the other been there to long. But if that is your only choice hold your nose and vote.

  • Pete-Tucson

Nothing could have gotten me to vote for Juan McPain in the Pres. election. I voted for him when he first ran for office, because he talked like a conservative, but I had him pegged as a liberal soon after that. People considered him a rogue, big deal, and it looks like Palin is living up to her book title, which is too bad for her.
We need to get Two Mules for Sister Sarah and pack her off to the mountains for a decade or two. (See Robert Mitchum).
She might help Bachmann in Minnesota, and I hope that she does, but, stay away from Arizona.
The owner of this website states that she will be off to help other conservatives, and they meant Juan McPain. A joke?
Hayworth is not a lifetime politician, as a smear here tries to make him. When he went to the House, he promised to serve only two or three terms, and then he retired. He lived up to his promise, contrary to what other politicians did as they broke their promises. McPain, and Juan Kyl is in the same mode, promised to defend the borders, defend the Constitution, and protect America. Those two tried very hard, along with Jorge Bush, in June, 2007, to get an amnesty passed. That is traitorous, if you know what that means.
All RINOS, so, if you live in Arizona and vote for the loser, Juan, you are just a dumb sap.

  • John

We the American people need to look back on all tht has happened in the 10 to 20 years with all of these incumbants, and realize that they all have hurt this great country. stand strong and pay them back in the next election REPLACE THEM ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Claire

      John—I agree with you.

    • L, USA

THROWING THE BABY OUT WITH THE BATH WATER IS IDIOCY!!!
Have a brain enough to keep the ones who are RESISTING the marxist dictatorship that now ruinates the economic system from DC.

      • Claire

I believe we have a right to our opinion. You certainly have yours.

      • L, USA

Clair, Opinions are like the spinctoral region where the food exits, but, For “obomanamics” there is NO EXIT. This is reality.

    • Casper777

I would recommend replace any non-representative Representative who voted for Crap & Tax (Cap & Trade), Government Healthcare Overhaul and those who support amnesty for illegals. That is about 2/3 of Congress.
I can’t believe ‘we the people’ voted and re-elected these un-American idiots in office. A friend recently wrote: “It shows how bad things have gotten when we have to say that what we need is more Real Men … like Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin!”, both who are highly respected and have earned our vote.

  • Rev. Carman

If she continues to support McCain, her political career is finished.

  • http://aol bugrocks

well she just lost any votes our family had for her why would she campagn for a liberal republican that flip flops on all the issues from illegal immigration to pork barrel spending the tea party folks should cancel her speech in tenn.she is just another politician like her friend john get a life

    • http://victorbarney@embarqmail.com Victor L Barney

Hope it’s because he’s a progressive and just maybe that she is too!

      • L, USA

Victor L Barney, The problem with “progressivism” is that it is progressing toward destruction of freedom, not good. Soveriegn nation world politics has been far better for modern civilization than corrupt “back room dealing” and black market economic swindlers who promulgate this device.

  • Tracy Carman

I believe that Sarah Palin should re-think campaigning for McCain. I can appreciate her loyalty to McCain to some extent … being picked for his running mate. But this will come back to bite her and give the far-left media a lot of ammo. Its going to be hard for Sarah to justify stumping for a RINO progressive and expect the Tea Party Movement to continue to embrace her.

Sarah had a problem during the Glenn Beck interview when she couldn’t name a favorite founding father. She seemed clueless, and said that she liked them all . To which Glenn said B.S. She finally settled on George Washington. She still has some work to do.

Sarah Palin desperately needs this refresher course on McCain’s past political record:

McCain has sided with the Left on most key issues: His immigration position is further left than many Liberals. He joined with Ted Kennedy to sponsor an amnesty bill for illegal aliens. He voted to give social security dollars to illegal aliens. His Hispanic Outreach Director, Juan Hernandez, is a former Mexican government official who holds dual American-Mexican citizenship. Hernandez is widely known for his “Mexico First” declarations.

McCain opposed a federal gay-marriage ban in 2005. He has flip-flopped several times on abortion, and is a strong advocate of federally funding research on aborted fetuses. In the San Francisco Chronicle (8/20/99) McCain sided with pro-abortionist, suggesting that overturning Roe v. Wade would lead to illegal abortions.

On campaign-finance reform, the McCain-Feingold Campaign Reform Act was one of the more left-wing acts of Congress in the past twenty years. The act, which placed blatant restrictions on political speech, passed with overwhelming Democrat support.

On religion, McCain has been no lover of Christians. In 2000, he called key religious leaders “agents of intolerance.” Later he defended his vilification of Christians when he said, “I must not and will not retract anything that I said in that speech.” McCain added that his statement was “carefully crafted, it was carefully thought out.”

McCain voted in favor affirmative action and a bill setting up quotas for women and minorities and joined with the Left on some gun control issues.

In 1992, McCain joined with his leftist democrat friend Sen. John Kerry to sell out the American servicemen known to have been alive in hands of the communist Vietnamese during the Vietnam War (they were never returned or accounted for) by providing political cover for President Bill Clinton to normalized trade and diplomatic relations with Vietnam.

In 2001, McCain considered abandoning the Republican Party to join the democrats. In 2004, he attacked the Swift Boat Vets, claiming their criticism of presidential candidate John Kerry was “dishonest and dishonorable.” That same year, McCain considered an offer to join Kerry as his Vice President nominee.

    • http://victorbarney@embarqmail.com Victor L Barney

I’d bet that are both progressives!

    • DaveH

      Tracy,
McCain is my State Senator. I have written to him many times and always got a mush-mouthed political response. He is the quintessential politician.

  • Sergio Pastor

If Sarah Palin backs MaCain instead of Hayworth, she will fail to meet the expectations of many conservatives and loving contry FIRST Americas, MaCain is a liberal-compromiser and a RINO. The ONLY REASON, I voted for MaCain, was Sarah Palin, when I met her in Reno, NV. Sarah stick by your conservative values, & THAT IS NOT MACAIN!!!!

  • Doug

Many of us have been leaving comments, on various sites for Sarah Palin to re-think her support for John McCain. Whereas I respect him for his service, I believe she will be committing political suicide if she endorses him rather than J.D. Hayworth for Senator.

It’s not too late,.. perhaps she could decide to not campaign for either,… otherwise, she will lose a great portion of her fan-base.

    • http://victorbarney@embarqmail.com Victor L Barney

      Just for-get-about-it!

      • L, USA

Forget-it-Not! Email Sarah NOW!!! No to McCAin!

    • L, USA

Millions of conservative Republicans and Independents and yes, conservative Democrats who have enough right-mindedness to see the consequences of continued liberalism in Americas government, need to contact Sarah Palin about this impending disaster of campaign compromise. She must be alerted! No to McCain campaign!

      • Harold Olsen

Conservative Democrats??? There ain’t no such animal!!

    • Claire

I agree with you. I am here in Illinois and I have heard grumblings about it already. The old saying–you are judged by the company you keep. I hope this is not true in her case.

      • L, USA

Thanks Claire, This is such a critical time in American History that we can’t miss the mark, or our own heads will roll. It is slim that we even have a chance to re-take the White House at this stage of communist take-over.

      • Claire

L,USA–Even if the Republicans get in, it will be more of the same. This economic chaos will not go away for years to come. It has been too long in the making.

      • L, USA

Claire, The primary factor in the elections is to elect as many Conservative Republicans as possible. The major party Republican has proven to oppose the type of government corruption that is now ruining the economy and destroying the Constitution.

      • eyeswideopen

Claire, vote in Libertarians, as they won’t force you to change your religious beliefs to match theirs.

  • Casper777

I have great respect for Sen. John McCain, but also have concerns regarding some perceived progressive and liberal leans of McCain. I am not happy the way his ‘machine’ disrespected Ron Paul and his supporters during the Republican Convention. On the other hand, McCain has been a strong voice against the radical liberal, Socialists, Marxist and Commie agenda of this Obama administration and Democratic Congress.
As others have noted, I would agree that Sarah should keep a low profile until after the Arizona Primary. Then give full support to the victor, be it McCain or Hayworth.
Sarah has a positive proven record as a Public Servant in Alaska with solid American values and is a breath of fresh air for the Patriotic – Conservative – Constitutional movement it America.

    • http://victorbarney@embarqmail.com Victor L Barney

      No comment necessary here.

      • L, USA

The main problem is that she is not a liberal slime-sucking wince, you know, the kind who hide in the shadows until a winner comes out of the dust of the fair fight, then rubs up to the thug who won by hiding a knife in his belt. She had better keep her distance from John McCain.

  • Meteorlady

Politically Sarah is killing herself to stick with a loser, and I hope he is because he needs to be gone like the rest of them. Sarah is OK but she quit and that’s going to stick with me for awhile. I know, you will come back and say she was driven out by the media – and that’s partly true… but, if you really believe in what you are there for you stick it out and fight the fight. But then she is making big bucks now compared to what she made when governor……

    • Claire

And she is sure making more money now than any of them. Lets see….. the POTUS only makes $400,000 a year, doesn’t he? Thats nothing compared to what she is taking to the bank.

      • Harold Olsen

Obama makes $400,000 a year. That’s about $399,999.99 more than he is worth. And I’m being generous at that.

  • Ron Bedell

Sarah (New World Order) Palin is no conservative. She’s a big government, Internationalist Repuiblican! Why is that so hard to see? And why would it surprise anyone that she’s campaigning for John McCain, Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann, and probably many others? It was the Republicans and Democrats who over-taxed, over-borrowed, over-spent, over-regulated, etc. She supports the unconstitutional American Empire almost 100% or else why would the Establishment be promoting her? We need a true conservative, constitutionalist, like Ron Paul or Chuck Baldwin in the White House and not a neo-con like Palin, McCain, Romney, or Gingrich in there. Palin’s policies would pretty much be the same as George W. Bush but rapped in a prettier package.

    • Meteorlady

While I agree with most of what you said – why Perry? Texas is one of the few states that still has employment opportunities, low taxes and our housing values have not depreciated very much at all. We don’t have a deficit and we are fiscally sound right now. I think Rick has done a great job with this state and can’t see who else I would vote for. Kay Bailey-Hutchinson has taken time from her Washington job to campaign and that’s not right since it’s an important time when she should be in Washington doing what we sent her there to do. As for the others – one foreign guy who rants and raves….. not my style.

      • eyeswideopen

Meteorlady, Texas has a wonderful web site which shows that the Stimulus Act has awarded your state: $8,872,319,069.51. You have received $1,518,414,806.00. http://www.window.state.tx.us/recovery/transparency/tracking.php To see the totals just click on the Transparency & reporting catagory at top of header, then go to Federal Quarterly Report. It will show all the monies you were awarded and what you have received.
Your state accepted and must have needed the stimulus monies the same way that, Florida did to keep our schools open. It appears that your state had the same type of fiscal problems or Perry wouldn’t have lowered his ego and taken that money. I lived in Austin and Houston and loved both cities. Texas football is like no other. Used to travel across the state to attend high school games. HOOK em HORNS!!!

      • Claire

I have fond memories of Texas. I went to a number of dog shows and won under Texas judges. Also, the people were very nice and hospitable. It was in Austin. I have to admit driving in the traffic in my big Chevy van was kind of scary. I went by myself with 5 dogs. I did get lost but I flagged down a state trooper and he got me on the correct interstate. And the food was wonderful.

      • Claire

Sorry, got off the subject at hand.

      • L, USA

eyeswideshutt, Eight hundred billion USD is less than one tenth of A Thousand billion [1,000,000,000,000.] or trillion. The Federal deficit is gaining A Trillion plus for each year for TEN years under the current administrations proposals. Meanwhile, the “floatation” method proposed by the obama administration is TAXES, FEES and government regulations on banks, businesses and factorys. This ‘bait’ money is used simply to lure the ‘ducks’ closer to a communist trap. The Big banks have paid back the “stimulas” money they were FORCED to take becasue of the strings attached to it. Only the muslim sharia banks and institiuions like Goldman Sachs are going on with it (with special favoritisms from the government). Now obama is FORCEING it on the smaller banks and credit unions. HELLO!!!

      • L, USA

Metorlady, It seems that you have been “HOOKED by the HORNS” eyeswidenotopen has ‘goreing’. I simply prefer the Navyjack Flag way of “Dont Tread On Me” showing the 10ft. Western Diamondback Rattlesnake! The best way to ruin a state with the economy in solvency is to GO IN DEBT TO THE GOVERNMENT! As for me NO THANKS, I don’t like being a slave! Got cash? No? Then GET OUT!!!

      • eyeswideopen

        L. USA, Texas ,took the money, it was their Repub Governor who accepted it. State must have been in trouble to have needed it. You can scream all you want but it is obvious that the states that took the money must not have had good fiscal policies in place. If that is true you need to look at the past leadership of the state, they made the decisions and handled the money. Your attitude that the Repubs are above the fray and were fiscally responsible is easy to dispute, just look at their states financial statements and see how much stimulus monies they took. Both parties are guilty.

      • L, USA

All of this did’nt happen overnight, child. How much $ did you lose to barnys trick? Your “rinos who you refer to as “repubs” might be as guilty as your liberals, but I doubt it. However, the True Republicans (www.gop.com go here to convert and join the True Conservatives Now!) did not do it! Sorry if your feelings got hurt by reading my caps, I will use three exclaimation points in place of extenous capitals. Oh, and try to get past 3 years of age, it will do wonders for you emotionaly. Best Wishes!

      • eyeswideopen

L.USA, so you are saying that no Conservatives have elected offices? There are none within the Republican Party who voted or controled fiscal policies or passed bills. You are funny. That denial of any wrong doing by anyone who is a COnservative is the reason, your party won’t be taken seriously. Must be great to be so perfect. lol

    • Meteorlady

Oh wait – forget what I said – we have enough people here already and we don’t need more. Texas is a bad bad place – stay away…..

    • http://victorbarney@embarqmail.com Victor L Barney

I think that I’d listen to what Meteorlady says!

      • L, USA

Texas is The George Bush State and that is very, very good. We need Strong Republican Leadership!

      • Harold Olsen

I hope you’re not saying that Bush was a strong president, because he wasn’t. I’m sorry to admit that I voted for him twice. I once said he was a better president than his father, who was a lousy president. About six months later I changed my mind about that. He was worse than his father. The only thing he did right, and I give him credit for it, was keep us safe after 9/11. There were no more domestic terrorist attacks. In his first year, Obama can’t say the same thing. Fort Hood was a terrorist attack even though he and his regime denies it.

      • L, USA

Harold, When the greatness of a President is weighed, it must be in relation to the amount of force exerted against the enemy as opposed to the point of self-destruction. G.W.H. Bush sucessfully circumvented a hostile U.N. opposition to drive S. Hussien back out of Kuait. He would have taken him out in Bagdad but was constrained with the consequence of a World War with other hostile nations if that had been the case (instigated by the muslim controled United Nations Council, not to mention a liberal U.S. press which would have crucified him publicly).
G.W. Bush was also able to volley over the opposition (but only after a crisis on 9/11/01) to prevent hostile muslim nations from mounting their promised “jihad” against Americans on American soil.

    • (Wondering Woman)

Hey Ron, you got that new world order mixed up. It was Hilary Clinton and B. Hussein Obama who attended that Bilderberg Conference -
if you still disagree, go to You Tube and type in The Obama Deception
      and watch it closely.

I voted for John M and Sarah P last time because I could not let myself vote for a Muslim who turned his back on others and kept his mouth shut while they recited The Pledge of Allegience which includes
“Under God, Indivisible”, while slumping with his hands near what has become known as his “crotch salute” since he demonstrated how well he does it at the ceremony to honor our troops killed there by another Muslim. Please don’t try to blame those troops inability “to stop one pissed-off Muslim” on the Republicans because it was democrat Bill
Clinton who signed the bill disarming our troops while on base. How
well could you have done in the same circumstances, unarmed and faced with a well armed adversary intent on killing as many as possible.
I haven’t read any details on it, but I’d lay a few odds that at least
some of those killed were attempting to take him down while others ran for cover, just as some brave passengers on that last plane on 9/ll/01 crashed without getting to their planned target because some of the passengers on board that plane acted to do the best they could under the circumstances, knowing they would not make it through, but still willing to risk leaving a little sooner to try to save other lives. I remember someone remarking that he would so proud to have known one of those people on that plane. My reply was “I am proud of
every one on that plane who made the choice to go down fighting, but as far as I know, none of them are personal acquaintances of mine”.
That plane obviously had a few leaders on it, something that we are
lacking in Washington these days. If it was just incompetence (which
it partly is) but much of what we are seeing now is planned destruction – or haven’t you been made aware of Obama’s stance on gun control yet? or that $20+ million he signed papers (Feb. 4, 2009) to set aside for the purpose of importing Hamas (known terrorist connections, I believe I have read) immigrants for the purpose of naturalizing them? I guess he isn’t concerned that he will be bringing
in Hamas immigrannts to compete for jobs lost by natural born citizens
at a time when our own economy is in such sad shape (he has increased our national debt more than any past president (including George W) and it took him less than a year to do it. His stimulus, obviously didn’t work, because jobs have continued to be lost at an excelerated rate since his watch began.

Wonder if he already had plans to add these Hamas immigrants to the federal payroll when he signed those papers? The federal payroll seems to be one place where he has actually found new jobs for a few people. – unfortunately these new positions only adds to an already bloated “overgrown” government that adds to the outgoing instead of the incoming. Wonder if we will ever know the truth of how many jobs he has added to the federal payroll – will it be in the hundreds or thousands or more?

Hopefully those elected congressional representatives In Washington, DC will learn health care reform, power grabs, and such that we have
seen from Obama are unCONSTITUTIONAL and find the guts to mention treason for all promoting these unconstitutional acts before he gets
around to his planned disarming of all American citizens. If not, there may be a lot of us trying to disarm “pissed-off muslims, czars, and others, while unable to bear arms because we have let this usurper
and his backers stall proving legitimacy long enough for him to make it illegal to own or bear a firearm of any kind!!!!!!

BL has already told you: keep some powder dry!

If at Ft. Hood that ominous day, would you have been with the ones running for cover or the ones running toward him with the intent of overcoming “one pissed-off (well armed) muslim”?

        McCain has no chance.

      • L, USA

Let me re-phrase that; McCain has no Right chance at becoming President and should not even be running for Senator of AZ. The ‘R’(Republican) does him no pardon. He should retire for the good of American interests.

  • Donna

I agree with Bev – we need to get all these lifetime politicians out and get some new “conservative” blood. And when they don’t hold on to their conservative values they need to be voted out. It was never intended for men/women to spend their entire careers in Washington.

    • JDR Sr

You better forget about JD as he wants to be a lifetime politician.

I don’t belong to any party I’m reg. as [noparty] in my state. I’ll say this JD wouldn’t make a pimple on McCain’s butt.

I lived in AZ 23 years JD is a loud mouth bs’er. You can tell he is level headed because of the BS running out both ears.

  • Bev

Robert, Are you in LA LA LAND?????? MaCain has been in politics for yrs. Give him MORE TIME TO COME AROUND??? PLEEEEEEASSSSSSEEEEE, WE THE PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE TIME. The LIBERALS & RINO,S ARE DESTROYING OUR COUNTRY. You are asking US TO THINK A LITTLE BIT~~~ You have got to be kidding!!!

  • Ron

McCain has been polling so badly here in Arizona that he needed a boost from somewhere. Sadly Palin is being suckered into the attempt. McCain needs to be removed from office. Let this be his last year of bloodsucking we Americans!

    • (Wondering Woman)

      Hey Ron,

Forget about how McCain is polling in Arizona now. He is fixing
to lose any political backing he ever had if he finds anyone to cosign
the Dietary Supplement Safety Bill (DSSA) and is fool enough to introduce it as it is rumored he plans to. This bill will harm us while helping the FDA to fatten big pharmacy’s coffers, as well as doing its part to increase medical care expense because it will gut another bill (DSHEA) that has kept the FDA from destroying our access to vitamins, minerals, supplements and herbals for the past few years. If the Codex Alimentarius (for those of you who aren’t familiar with this one – go to You Tube and type “codex alimentarius” in the search window for a rapid education). If you are able to get them at all if this bill is introduced and passed, any you can get after that will only contain about 1/100th of an effective strength. So if you see this bill rear its ugly head, notify your representatives to not cosign or vote for it.

  • http://www.nosmog.com ROBERT

WRONG AGAIN ABOUT SEN.JOHN McCAIN, HE WAS DOWN FOR AWHILE AFTER CHEATING FROM LIBERAL DEMOS AND ‘BUILDERBERGERS’ AND “OBAMA-UNAMERICAN”. WE CAN UNDERSTAND FEELING OF JOHN AND GIVE HIM MORE TIME AND GET CHANCE NEW RE-FRESH AIR. JOHN WILL BE FINE ALSO SARAH PALIN WILL BE FINE TOO. BOTH ARE GREAT LEADERS AND SUCCESSFUL. WHY DON’T BE LIKE THEM ?. THINK A LITTLE BIT WILL YA ?.

  • James

I agree with Bev, if Palin even smiles at McCain her political career is over. John McCain is a warmonger like Dubya. In 2008, Americans voted against our endless wars in the Middle East, and for Obama because he promised to end those wars and bring our troops home. He failed, so he’s dead. Americans don’t hate Democrats or Republicans, they hate warmongering internationalist.

    • http://Yahoo Dee D

DaveH, when you’re that old it’s impossible to hold it too long. My guess is he only leaves the bathroom, when a vote is called.

    • L, USA
      • DaveH

        L,
No doubt the Muslims are a dangerous lot. So are drugs. But neither war has stopped either. How long do we keep impoverishing our nation and letting Government grow out of control for no real gains? Just like the Liberal war on poverty. How long do we water that tree that bears no fruit before we throw in the towel and admit that Big Government is not the solution?

Dave, We have the military to fight the large scale against “jihad” to protect the nation at large. If not, we would be in the streets with any kind of weapon we could get our hands on fending for our families and our own lives quite literaly. I can come down to that at any time as islamic advance progresses. It has happened in most of the eastern world already. Government only needs to be big enough to provide the security of freedom to it’s citizans, not a beaurocratic behemath with marxist social and economic slavery. Digg?

      • DaveH

We can’t even stop a lone gunman on a military base. Do you really think pissing off the Muslims is going to keep us safer at home?

      • DaveH

I’m all for severely punishing those that trespass on us, but then get out of their countries. No Nation Building. Take the Underwear Bomber. If it was up to me, I would interrogate him for what information he would give and then kill him in a very unMuslim way. After all he was willing to kill several hundred innocent people.

      • L, USA

Dave, The mindset that drives the bombers is base, lewd and sucidal in nature. That one blew his own backside up trying to kill us. Think about that for a moment.

  • GERALD HALE

Sarah supporting John is a huge mismatch (like oil and water). Please Sarah, don’t do it. J. D. Hayworth would be a very welcome addition to the few strong conservatives in the Senate. I understand the feeling of loyalty, but surely something could prevent this appearance.

    • Harold Olsen

You may understand the feeling of loyalty but I sure don’t. Why should she feel any loyalty to him when, as his running mate, he showed no loyalty to her. As I said in another posting, I know she’s a Christian but this is taking charity way too far.

  • gaetano

Well, my say in the matter, is that I think Palin is a wonderfull person, but to me she is a stay at home mom. If we republicans seek the presidential election with Mccain and Palin , it would be the end for at least 8 years. Yes, Mccain is a war heroe and experienced in war,but he has been a 3 time loser, and Palin, well, she is not ,qualified as far as I am concerned. And although, I do believe women should have a part in government, I ,for one, do not beleive a women can ever run our country like a man could. So go ahead and start calling me all the names ,but I am to old to change my ways. This country needs experience, yes, but new blood, with all the attributes that come with it. For one, a beleiver of ” One nation under GOD.

    • Mark Smith

      I agree no

    • Meteorlady

Yeah – like men have done a really good job with our government….

      • DaveH

It couldn’t get much worse, could it?

      • L, USA

The science is that men are the seed and women the earth. Without seed the earth is barren and lifeless. In the words of one of our greatest freedom founders, Patrick Henry, “Give me [seed] or give me death”. Mike Huckabee for President (the sooner, the better!)

      • DaveH

I was just watching Mike Huckabee on John Stossel’s show. He was asked about a law passed in Arkansas which dictated that each school kid would be weighed and if overweight a letter was sent to the parents advising them of their kids condition (as if they didn’t know). He claimed this wasn’t Big Brother abuse because the government wasn’t forcing the parents to do anything.
Sure, just a step in that direction is all. He’s just another RINO.

      • Claire

        seed???

      • L, USA

DH, What Mike was trying to tell the zens is that a letter to yo mama is’nt a fine or a jail term. If it did anything, then he would have said so. I would do the same. Only the useful idiots will be bothered by a simple answer. Yet, those are the ones that the marxist line up against the wall and shoot, when the take over is complete. To Clair: seed=man, man=leader, leader= [true]liberty or freedom, get it?

      • Claire

L,USA–Oh, I “got” it alright. It has been a long time since I have heard the terminology used that way.

      • DaveH

        L,
The simple question is just another foot in the door for Big Government. The Republicans lay the foundation, and the Liberals occupy the building.

      • Harold Olsen

Letters like that could result in big fat (no pun intended) law suits.

      • L, USA

Claire, Your right-mindedness is as sweet smelling fragrance on the air. Dave, The “legal” processes now woven into governmental dictums have corrupted the system. Check the record for conservative votes that oppose un-American values and count the Republicans against the “Democrats”. Who won? Harol , Big Fat World History stands guilty as charged!

      • JoanieG

Sorry, but Mike Huckabee is a good reason why Republicans lost in 2008. He was very busy dividing up the party. I don’t think McCain was the best candidate, but Huckabee is a disaster. Folks are not going to forget his pardoning that man who went on a killing spree after his release– very poor judgment! That cooked his goose. Sarah does energize the party but I don’t think even she wants to run again. Many women are simply jealous of her because she is beautiful, both on the outside and the inside. As for the morons commenting that women could never do the job of running the country, I suggest that they look at Germany, the traditional economic muscle in post-war Europe. Funny how Angela Merkel ALWAYS seems more on target than the 3 stooges: Sarkozy, Berlesconi and Zapetero– together, they don’t make up one good brain, in my opinion! Let’s also not forget the long reign of Margaret Thatcher! You men are pigs (Bill Clinton, especially).

      • L, USA

JonieG, Right on Target about ole’ Willie. He had a “root” with more than just a few in the stye! However, I fail to understand your point when you say that Mike Huckabee could police the man for the rest of his life, outside prison, or do you like everyone to remain in prison for your lifespan? West Germany did very well thanks to American capitol(ism) assistance. Yet, see now how the european model is now in no growth economy. And what happened to Brittan? It is becoming an islamic state. Will the Queen drive out the bombers and theives from the land of the Lion, or say, “have you come to take a spoil?…” Search world history and count the prevailing rulers of civilization. How many male? female? This is my point.

  • http://www.nosmog.com ROBERT

OH !, YES GOV.SARAH PALIN WILL MAKE IT SUCCESS WITH LOTS OF FEMALE !. REASONS WHY THEY THINK FEMALES WON’T TAKE SARAH PALIN JUST BECAUSE SOME OF WILD FEMALES FROM CRAZED HOLLYWOOD,AND DRUGGED AND DRINKERS ALSO JOKERS AND VERY JEALOUSLY.

I PICKED GOV.SARAH PALIN JUST LIKE “SWEET LADY SNOW WHITE” FROM ALASKA !.
SAD FOR YOU “EVIL HOLLYWOOD ACTRESS FEMALES “.

    • http://Yahoo Dee D

Robert – Females are not stupid. They have one head that houses one brain to think with and it rides above the shoulders. Nuff said.

      • eyeswideopen

        LMAO, your innuendo is superb.

      • Claire

        Dee D—Another good one!

      • Smilee

        Great statement

  • http://www.personalliberty.com joslyn

Pleaseeeeee nothing but wannabee pop stars. bunch of freaking geeks. Let me tell about the freakin geek. maybe next time if your interested. must run have appoinment in seattle, Wa which is a three hour drive. have a great day your friend joslyn

    • Meteorlady

If you are from Washington State you are probably pretty liberal. Sorry, but we moved from there 4 years ago and haven’t regretted it. You three hour drive is probably 15 miles with the traffic problems and over-building going on. Is there any benefit yet from all the property taxes you pay? Are the roads any less congested, is private property still private in King country because we were not even allowed to chop a tree down on our property which we owned for 22 years. If we had stayed in your state we would have been taxed out of our home eventually. Oh well, someone has to stay there and pay for all the social give-away programs, all the illegals in public subsidized housing and of course the massive traffic jams created by run away growth.

      • DaveH

        Lady,
I was driving a 24-foot truck back to California from Idaho. I was kind of putting myself into a Zen-state for the long drive (22 hours). Suddenly, I started noticing all these warning signs (unlawful this, unlawful that) on the side of the road and immediately I realized that I had entered the People’s Republic of Oregon and was on the wrong road. I think the whole western coast has gone that way.

      • Harold Olsen

Not everyone from Washington State is a liberal Many of us are conservatives and our voices are getting louder. But, did you understand Joslyn’s posting? I read it three times and still didn’t get it. Maybe I’m just punchy. I just got home from work an hour ago.

  • Bev

If Sarah Palin backs MaCain instead of Hayworth. She will be finished. MaCain is a liberal & the ONLY REASON, I voted for MaCain, was Sarah Palin. She was a breath of FRESH AIR. Sarah, GET AWAY FROM THR ROTTING AIR!!!!! Stick by your conservative values, & THAT IS NOT MACAIN!!!!

    • http://victorbarney@embarqmail.com Victor L Barney

      Looks like Bev gets it!

    • L, USA

The “rotting air” is in the White House but John McCain is like “beefsteak”. Time to retire the “dead horse”. Republican win in/before 2010 and 2012 but not with RINOs/commi/liberal candidates!!!

    • Harold Olsen

Likewise. Has McCain not pick Palin as his running mate I never would have voted for him. I’ve said I’d vote for Palin in 2012 if she ran but if she is support this liberal instead of the Conservative, I’m not so sure any more. Others who would have supported her may also turn away from her. She just may have killed her political career. It’s too bad. She was so promising.

    • http://mooresmorgue@hotmail.com John Moore

      You couldn’t be more right

  • http://www.nosmog.com ROBERT

THAT IS GREAT NEWS FOR SEN.JOHN McCAIN AND FORMER GOV.SARAH PALIN WILL MEET ONCE MORE TIME !. GOOD LUCK AND BEST WISHES TO SEN.JOHN McCAIN AT HIS HOME STATE ALSO GOOD LUCK AND BEST WISHES TO GOV.SARAH PALIN MIGHT TRY FOR HER NATIONAL ELECTION COMING SOON.

GOD BLESS YOU BOTH. WE ALL AMERICANS NEEDS MORE VERY GOOD LEADERSHIPS LIKE THEM AND NEED MORE TO COME TO REPLACE OBAMA !.

GOD BLESS AMERICA AND PRESERVED OUR FREEDOMS CONSTITUTION AND AMENDMENTS LAWS !.

  • http://victorbarney@embarqmail.com Victor L Barney

I know that John McCain is a progressive and dangerous for Sarah Palin to hang out with politically. However, as I said in a previous post, her political future is doomed anyhow because she would never pull the female vote needed to win a presidential election, anyway!

    • http://mooresmorgue@hotmail.com John Moore

I would much rather see Sara back J.D. Hayworth.

    • Roger

If Palin can back McCain she doesn’t need my vote. We NEED a true believer in conservitism and is an anti-Progressive candidate. Doesn’t she know a Progressive when she sees one??? No more Conservative lites! No more RINOs.
