Norm, the father falls under British law at the time… and there is a difference between a “Natural” born citizen and a U.S. Citizen… That is why the Founders in the constitution made the allowance for Citizens at the time of writing the constitution and for future presidents that must be “natural born” citizens… NOt only that, if he gave up his citizenship, which is apparently the case to attend the muslim school in Indonesia, he “lost” his citizenship…. and there is no evidence that it was regained… As I stated he was probably born in Hawaii, but in each of the other conditions stated by you are not relevant. His father was here as a student.

By the founders of the constitution definitions, Obama is not “natural born”; If by law of the british at the time to which is father was subject, he would have been listed as British citizen at birth…. and we have NOT seen his birth certificate… only notification of live birth…. TWo different documents….. And if he was enrolled in school in Indonesia which he so states in his writings he would have been required to “give up” other citizenships and would then have to be naturalized in the us to become a US citizen…. and there is no evidence to that….

I think we were a whole lot “more” tolerant of all others “before” they started shoving it down our throats. But it just goes to show…anything government does towards social engineering is a complete disaster that only divides us further. And it works very well for them – “Divide and Conquer” has worked for centuries now.

And Government will continue to divide us as it Grows larger. Everybody has their own unique likes and dislikes. One size does not fit all. If we ever want to achieve peace in our society (as much as possible) we need to shrink Big Government dramatically.
One of our biggest problems is the Public School system. We need to replace that Propaganda Machine with the Voucher System so people can send their kids to the school of their choice. Hopefully one that isn’t aiding and abetting out of control government growth. Then the non-believers can send their kids to non-religious schools, and the believers can send their kids to religious schools, etc.
Most importantly, the schools that actually educated the children would be the ones that succeeded in the market place. The other schools would deservedly fail.
There are many other instances where the elected officials impose their way on an unwilling populace. This is unnecessary. Only the citizens themselves know what makes them happiest, and the Government should not be involved in that decision.
The Government’s main purpose should be to protect the citizens from the force of others. Instead the Government people have become the ‘forcers’. Who protects us from their force?

I agree that the government shouldn’t be involved in protecting us from ourselves. They should only be involved in protecting people from the force of others. In that respect, Republicans fall down. However, the Democrats are much more into force than are the Republicans. They have absolutely no qualms about dictating how our money is spent. They want to force expensive alternative energy schemes on us for a Man-Made Global Warming hoax that is far away from being scientifically established. They want to control our medical expenditures and choices. They love to waste our money (and our childrens’ future money) on pie-in-the-sky expenditures.
The Democrats are big into regulating the heck out of our economy. Big Corporations love heavy regulation because they can easily afford the Cadres of lawyers and accountants to deal with it. But regulations hobble their smaller competitors who can’t afford to deal with them.

Dee D, there is one very simple fact most folks overlook about journalism these days. I spent 12 years working as a technician in commercial TV, so I’ve seen it first hand and behind the scenes. I can tell you a couple of things for certain:
1: No media employer will ever hire a journalist who doesn’t agree with their corporate point of view or field of political interest.
2: There is ALWAYS a way to selectively edit any statement to make it appear the way you want it to, especially if it highlights a sensational aspect of an otherwise uninteresting story. This is, after all, the age of the ’10 second grab’.
3:Nobody can say for certain that Fox News is unbiased. Of course it is! They’re owned by committed Republicans. But before you jump down my throat for that, the same is true of all liberal owned or sympathetic media. Look at Robert Greenwald’s liberal news blog, which is very similar to this one, but from the opposing camp.
Horses for courses people. Everyone wants to push their own brand of ‘truth’.
4: Political parties and candidates have ‘spin doctors’ who will ALWAYS shadow their charges with voice recorders or video cameras during any interview, to try to pressure all journalists into reporting what the candidate or party wants them to. By recording it themselves, they can prove in a lawsuit what was really said. So by the balancing act that is political interest and sensationalist media reporting, there is very little chance of balanced journalism ever being presented, unless you the public do a massive amount of personal research into every single subject, which both the media and political parties know 99.9% of folks won’t bother doing. That’s why most of America and the western world are simply cannon fodder for media, corporate and political interests.
I am neither conservative, liberal, environmentalist or commy. I do think there is merit in SOME ASPECTS of most political viewpoints (except communism, it runs counter to basic human nature).
For me, everything boils down to two simple statements:
1: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength!

He provided the court with a certified copy of Obama’s African birth certificate. In his affidavit he stated, inter alia: “I have personal knowledge of all the facts and circumstances described herein below…; On February 19, 2009 I visited the Coast General hospital in Mombasa, Kenya; I visited the hospital accompanied by one more person, a natural born citizen of the Democratic Republic of Congo…; I traveled to Kenya and Mombasa in paarticular with the intent to obtain the original birth certificate of Barack Hussein Obama, as I was told previously that it was onj file inj the hospital and under seal, due to the fact that the prime minister of Kenya Raela Odinga is Barack Hussein Obama’s cousin; I had to pay a cash ‘consideration’ to a Kenyan military officer on duty to look the other way, while I obtained the copy of the birth certificate…The copy was signed by the hospital administrator; the copy contained the embossed seal; The true and correct photocopy of the Birth certificate obtained, is attached to this affidavit as Exhibit A; etc.
Thus you see this evidence is now in court. If that isn’t going public with info, what is?

The other 3 didn’t even get their hands slapped.
So far Obama has not declared an illegal war that has cost thousands of innocents lives.
But my major question—–Why do we voters keep putting the same bums in office and give them time to vote themselves big raises in pay that they take the full amount with them when they retire?
