Republicans Prepare To Dig In Heels On Clean Water Restoration Act

December 21, 2009 by

Republicans prepare to dig in heels on Clean Water Restoration ActDemocratic Representative James Oberstar, chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, has decided to defer introducing the Clean Water Restoration Act until next year due to heavy criticism from the GOP.

Oberstar’s proposed legislation would allow the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), in conjunction with the Army Corp of Engineers, to protect and control all of the nation’s waterways, according to The Washington Times.

Currently, the EPA only monitors "navigable" waters that are large enough for ship traffic. The Clean Water Restoration Act would allow the government to regulate 20 million acres of U.S. wetlands and 59 percent of the nation’s streams that do not flow year-round, regardless of whether or not they are on private property.

The proposed bill has recently come under heavy scrutiny after reports surfaced that Oberstar would try to quietly pass the legislation through the House before the end of the year. Nearly 30 Republican Congressmen publicly criticized the bill in a letter written to Majority Leader Harry Reid and Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

"The government wants control of all water," said Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo), quoted by Fox News. "That also means that they want control over all of our land including the private property rights of people from the Rocky Mountain west, the western caucus and the entire U.S.," he said.

Oberstar said he plans on introducing the bill in early 2010.

The Nazis put flouride in the water they gave to prisoners in their Concentration Camps. I’m sure they weren’t concerned with the prisoners developing cavities in their teeth. This is about reducing the excess population of the world — which is the stated agenda of the New World Order. Their not only poisoning our water, their poisoning our food, medicine, air, and enviroment. Governments are the enemy of the people.

My dad had Alzheimers and mother-in-law had dementia and neither one had water that had fluoride in it. If the liberals take over the water rights, our ranchers and farmers will really be in trouble, and we won’t have any food to eat.

I am so sick of what is going on in MY UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! According to those in DC everything has to be Changed! I do not drink tap water. I use a filter to remove the harmful impurities and recommend it to my friends & family since learning that the fluoride was linked to Alzheimer and Dementia.
Robert, it seems like we need the help of someone like “Marie LeVeaux”.
A little Black Magic might be the answer:-).

    Have a Safe, Merry Christmas!

As soon as the Democrats get their Health Deform Bill passed, they’ll concentrate on the Cap and Tax bill and push forth this legislative nightmare as well. Hope and Change, that’s what the idiot in the White House ran on. Only thing about Hope and Change is “I hope they stop changing everything in creation”. May all the politicians in Washington get AIDS for Christmas. Maybe that’ll slow those bozos down.

First of all Merry Christmas !

I got gift in the mail from Conservative NEWSMAX.COM, and it is a medical book, from Dr Braylock. It states clearly that it against the law to put FLUORIDE INTO PUBLIC WATER AS A MEDICINE, WHICH IS BEING DONE. People are forced to drink RAT POISEN, and its time it came out of all public water. And, have a HAPPY NEW YEAR AND A PROSPEROUS ONE…..MAINE

Just wait till the health care bill is passed!!! Then they will start putting tranquilizers in the water to control us all!!!! Merry Christmas!!!! God help us!!!

Thus the drive to control our private property wells and waterways. Control the water = control the people = control the money. They finally figured out the shortest route to complete social control. The mines in NV did it several decades ago….bought up all of the water rights out from under the cattle ranches, and then took possession of the ranches. Still that way, today.
A Merry and blessed Christmas to all.
