Try Crystal Therapy For Balance And Rejuvenation

December 3, 2009 by

Crystal therapy may also aid relaxation - like yogaIf the holidays have you a little stressed out, new reports indicate that crystal therapy might be a good alternative treatment. This natural therapy may have a wide range of benefits, from aiding relaxation to being an alternative healing therapy.

The New York Times recently drew readers’ attention to how crystals can be used for healing. Some use warmed jade as part of a body massage. Others, particularly in Asia, reportedly use crystal "wands" to promote healthy skin and positive energy.

Crystal therapy has even made its way to Hollywood, according to InStyle magazine. Sienna Miller reportedly enjoys a massage by Neom Organics because it incorporates crystal therapy into a massage treatment that uses organic products along with aromatherapy practices.

According to the site peacefulmind.com, crystals can be used for a range of therapeutic purposes. They are believed to have a certain kind of power, and this is then transferred to the sick individual. He or she is "healed" by the crystal’s energy.

Energy in a crystal can be replenished when the object is cleaned. For example, the news source explains that to "clean" agate, it must be rinsed and "cleared" under warm water and placed in the sun to absorb this energy.ADNFCR-1961-ID-19477433-ADNFCR

Stopthelies: You are as bad as those with whom you are disagreeing. You provide no proof of your thesis. Where are the results of your research?

Crystal therapy is BS. There is no concrete proof. The crystals themselves do nothing but add to the illusion. There is concrete proof that (A. Meditation as shown in the picture does reduce stress, promote happiness, and can greatly reduce pain, nausea, and a host of other medical symptoms. and (B. subconsciously believing that you will be cured or are cured can in fact dispel the symptoms, or cure the disease altogether.

The fact that you are blindly accepting this without any hard evidence or without consulting ANY of the actual research shows a complete and utter lack of skepticism and a revulsion of science as a whole. The same results may be achieved through meditation, yoga, vigorous exercise, correct diet, and many other things, none of which are nearly so hard or costly as most people have been led to believe.
