    I Thank God for men and women who will stand up for God, and HIS politics!! Love in a very ugly, hate filled world! We have become so torn between Dems&Repub., it might be a good idea if we could just for a moment remember 9/11,and the way we felt as a NATION!!!Coming together in love and loss of our Great Nation.As AMERICANS who LOVE OUR COUNTRY!!WE all need to really come together in UNITED STATE OF AMERICA that hopefully we ALL LOVE AND PRAY FOR!!!My family also has served,and is serving(My daughter is a U.S. Marine, and I am SO proud of her-and ALL the wonderful young men and women) who put their lives on the line every day for this country.     I love Glenn Beck for what he is doing to awaken people to the need to restore human liberty against the rise of omnipotent government. But, when his Mormonism comes through, he leaves the facts of reality behind.
    If religious Nones are only 15% of the country’s population, then a full 85% are believers in God. Some of those must have favored the socialist schemes that elevate need above accomplishment in American political legislation. 15% of unbelievers were not enough to elect DaBomb to the Dictatorship (uh, I mean Presidency) of America.
    As for “other countries” being unreligious, Spain, Italy, Poland, Ireland are totally Catholic, the original form of Christianity from which all other denominations are changelings. England, Scotland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand are majority Prostant Christians. The eastern European and Russian-speaking countries are Orthodox (it means correct doctrine) Christians. It is America which is secular in its culture, much more so than anything in “other countries”.
    The point of the Founding Fathers, Thomas Jefferson in particular (who was accused of being an atheist when he ran for President), using the word Creator in the Declaration of Independence is that they wanted to leave the question open as to whether or not the origin of man was natural or divine. Far from the Mormon doctrine that the Declaration and the Constitution were divinely inspired, like the Evangelicals think the Bible was, the Declaration of Independence was penned by a man who carved the miracles out of the gospel stories of Jesus in order to uphold the “morality” he taught.
    Why, Glenn, has this country become great? Because we held to a morality of self-reliance, achievement through productive work, reason as our tool for learning what is true about the world in which we live, merit…not equal redistribution of the production of those who choose to take responsibility for their lives by making something that fills human needs.
    It is, in fact, the Christian morality of self-sacrifice that omnipotent government and her champion, the Leftists, count on to get people to let Congressmen vote away their hard-earned incomes and give it to those who do nothing about their own needs. It is the Christian morality of altruism that banishes the healthiest aspect of American culture, individualism.
    Glenn, we are not about to embrace the religion of the smith of polygamy in America, nor any of the unscientific nonsense of Creationism of the Evangelicals.
    Reason and reality are the absolutes that elevate life to its status of the sacred.
    If you dnn’t know that, you need to read Ayn Rand, whom you distanced yourself from because of her “godlessness”. She provided the proof of the factual objectivity of all values and discussions of values. None of your Mormon “Presidents” did that.
    In the name of reality, employ reason to argue for the Freedom Philosophy, sir.

      What are you going to do, when at the Pearlie gates, there are millions of Democrats standing along side of you? You think that the Republicans have a lock out on the Christian religion? Funny, the stats probably prove that the Dem’s have a larger population of Christians than you do. The rhetoric expousing only one party that is right, only one religion that is right, only one leader that is right, will take us right down the wrong path. Maybe you should check history and see what happens when it is only one party, one religion and one leader. Why don’t all you Dem haters get some laws passed to prevent the Dems from serving this country? Their blood must not be good enough for you. Then just the Republicans can serve. Their money must not be green enough, so why don’t you just quit selling your goods to them also. We probably need to stop this universal organ donation that they make, so you can have livers, kidneys, eyes, lungs, etc. so let’s identify that and make sure you don’t get any of those things either. The list is going to get very long, but you all can handle it all on your own. There is about what 45-50 million of you? That should be enough to handle all the facets of this country.

    This is a Christian nation as stated in the Constitution of the United States by our founding fathers. When are we going to wake up and go to DC and take it back. Obama’s admin has committed treason since his election and we are watching our country go to hell in a hand basket! I’m tired of hearing the Dems and the Repubs bickering back and forth while the communist are dismantling the whole structure of our government and turning it into a dictatorship. Hollywood is in their corner, along with anyone else that wants to blame us for the world’s problems. If we hadn’t won two world wars, there wouldn’t be a Hollywood and we would be speaking German. Don’t compare Obama to Hitler, because Hitler loved HIS country and Obama hates OURS!! It’s easy for someone to run down something which they have not made a contribution to build. Gutless robotic liberals never fought in any war, put their lives on the line to save anyone, or donated for the cause of freedom. Put GOD back in his place in this nation and let’s rid this country of the evil from within. Let’s meet in DC and reclaim it in HIS name while there’s still time!

      FDR – Roosevelt wanted to enter military service following the United States’ entry into World War I in April 1917, but Daniels persuaded him to stay on. Roosevelt tackled numerous wartime projects. In 1918, he toured European battlefields and consulted with military leaders. He had gained national prominence.

      Harry S. Truman – In 1917, Harry S. Truman began his career in the Missouri National Guard. He trained at Camp Doniphan in Oklahoma and became a captain. Then he took command of Battery D – the 129th field artillary. The Rowdy Kansas City Irishmen of the battery were known for wearing out commanding officers. Many predicted the new captain would not be able to get his men under control. But Harry didn’t fail. He succeeded. He took his men to France and fought in World War I. He was very strict with his men, but they really liked Harry. They served in several battles until Harry was dishcarged in 1919. All in all, Harry was a very good soldier and an even better leader. Everyone was proud of Harry S. Truman.

      JFK – In the spring of 1941, Kennedy volunteered for the U.S. Army, but was rejected, mainly because of his troublesome back. However, the U.S. Navy accepted him in September of that year. He participated in various commands in the Pacific Theater and earned the rank of lieutenant, commanding a patrol torpedo boat or PT boat. On August 2, 1943, Kennedy’s boat, the PT-109, was taking part in a night-time military raid near New Georgia (near the Solomon Islands) when it was rammed by a Japanese destroyer. Kennedy was thrown across the deck, injuring his already troubled back. Still, Kennedy somehow towed a wounded man three miles through the ocean, arriving on an island where his crew was subsequently rescued. Kennedy said that he blacked out for periods of time during the ordeal. For these actions, Kennedy received the Navy and Marine Corps Medal under the following citation: :”For heroism the rescue of 3 men following the ramming and sinking of his motor torpedo boat while attempting a torpedo attack on a Japanese destroyer in the Solomon Islands area on the night of Aug 1-2, 1943. Lt. KENNEDY, Capt. of the boat, directed the rescue of the crew and personally rescued 3 men, one of whom was seriously injured. During the following 6 days, he succeeded in getting his crew ashore, and after swimming many hours attempting to secure aid and food, finally effected the rescue of the men. His courage, endurance and excellent leadership contributed to the saving of several lives and was in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Naval Service.”

      LBJ- On June 21, 1940, Lyndon Johnson was appointed Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Naval Reserve (USNR). Reporting for active duty on December 10, 1941, three days after Pearl Harbor, he was ordered to the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Navy Department, Washington, D. C., for instruction. He began working on production and manpower problems that were slowing the production of ships and planes, and he traveled in Texas, California, and Washington, assessing labor needs in war production plants. In May 1942, he proceeded to Headquarters, Twelfth Naval District, San Francisco, California, for inspection duty in the Pacific. Stationed in New Zealand and Australia, he participated as an observer on a number of bomber missions in the South Pacific. He was awarded the Army Silver Star Medal by General Douglas MacArthur and cited as follows:

      Jimmy Carter – Naval career
      Carter served on surface ships and on diesel-electric submarines in the Atlantic and Pacific fleets. As a junior officer, he completed qualification for command of a diesel-electric submarine. He applied for the US Navy’s fledgling nuclear submarine program run by then Captain Hyman G. Rickover. Rickover’s demands on his men and machines were legendary, and Carter later said that, next to his parents, Rickover had the greatest influence on him.

        Sorry to say, but FDR, Truman, JFK, and LBJ, during their admistration, would be considered conservative by liberal standards today. Carter wasn’t as liberal as he is now (a flaming liberal) but even so, during his admistration, his somewhat liberal policies destroyed the country’s economy; it took conservatives to bring the country back (I do applaud the fed for having the guts to follow the conservative moneterist policy during this time). Carter has become a flaming liberal because he knows that by doing so, his failed presidency will be redeemed by his liberal buddies to which he is kissing-up. He obviously thinks that the liberal facists will win this idealogical war and he knows that to the victors goes the spoils. He better think again; I’m conservative and I’m ready to die or kill fighting against liberals to save this great nation.

        You should not talk about that which you know nothing. FDR was not a liberal he was a Democrat. Not all social programs are bad and not all social programs are valid forever. Given the context of the time, a time when 25 percent of the nation population was out of work, social security and welfare was created. Of these 2 programs the welfare program has been vastly pervert from FDR’s original intent which was to provide a stop-gap solution to put people back to work by not giving them money for nothing but by giving them money to build the public parks across America that just about everyone has enjoyed at one time or another. Liberals exploit and pervert ideas and ideals which are valid and good in nature. Example: let’s give Americans who are impoverished a “hand up” – valid. The liberal view: let’s give Americans who are impoverished a “hand out” by giving them money for noting because it is easier than supporting an infrastructure that puts people to work.
        I personally don’t believe in God but I support the right for others to believe. I am not offended by “in God we trust” on our money or by people who wish to praise his name in prayer at school. I do believe in what God stands for which is goodness and tolerance. Do you believe in goodness and tolerance?

        If you would go back an look at political comments and columes from the 1930′s I think you would see that FDR was considered very liberal. If fact a lot of the right wing people like to email some of the old political cartoons about FDR and compare them to today and Obama.
        However, I do agree that welfare and social security are basically good programs, but they have been taken advantage of. What we need is a government that is willing to relook at these programs and make hard decisions as to what to do about the corruption in them. However that will never happen as they don’t want to loose votes.Being in Congress is not about doing what’s best for the country, it’s about what can I do to get elected again and again, and again and again.

      Wayne, I have to say this every week on this site. Many of our founding fathers were atheists. This nation was founded under God, not Jesus. Show me a document which says, In Jesus Christ we believe, or Under Jesus we… or In Jesus we …. Simply did not happen the way you want to believe. I am sorry as I am a Christian, but I will not let people lie about the orgins of this country and our Constitution.

      Here’s some additional info for you. We started putting IN GOD WE TRUST IN 1864 after the CIVIL WAR. It took an act of congress in 1956 to make it an official National motto of the United States.

      We are losing Christians, as we have become hypocrites in our dealing with others. When we don’t practice what we preach and degrade those who aren’t our specific religious sect we are acting un-Christian. Jesus didn’t say go forth and proclaim that all others are wrong in my name, he basically even asked us not to judge others , as that is not our place to do that. You cannot brow beat people into accepting your religion. Our biggest responsibilty is to lead by example. Non-judging and without hyprocrisy is a Christian virture to be viewed by others as a teaching of Christ.

      Right on!!! God is the reason this is such a great nation. It is what we were founded on. We have got to get back on track fast because we are losing the battle and the liberals are taking over. I was in Washington in September for the big march and they are already planning another one next year. We had nearly two million there and we need to triple/quadruple the number next year. We have got to prove to the Dems and liberals that we are not going to let this country go down the tubes!!!!!! God Bless America……and God Bless Glenn Beck for his courage and voice!!

    P.S. This is not just about the Obama presidency, it is about previous administrations who have lied to the American people. And many of our government officials, Hollywood, Main Stream Media, etc (past & present) have been influenced by a select group of individuals, who themselves were/are influenced by the ENEMY (Satan). This is not about politics, this about our Liberties that God granted us by grace, not men. And man can not and will not be able to change this country or this world WITHOUT God’s help, period. Better yet, God will change this world for the better with the help of His Son whether we like or not! To be honest with you all, I’d rather be on God’s side, not man or this world or THE DEVIL!

You have to stay with them constantly to keep them doing what you want. . .

      Two, . . You can, . . by education and informing them with kindness and goodness you can MAKE THEM ” W A N T ” TO DO IT !!! . . By using this method and, . . if they do not learn that you’ve lied to them, . . they will keep on doing what you want them to do as long as you have also made it to be in their best interest as well. . . As proven by the decades long careers of many, . . You only have to make them WANT to do it ONCE, . . and it can last a lifetime. . . Such as a marriage or parenthood, etc. . . .

      Folks who have been lulled by the Devil into believing that Sin is good for them and that instant gratification in all things is the smart way to go are WITHOUT HOPE, . . THEY ARE LOST, . . AND THEY KNOW IT but they suppress their own conscience to the degree that it no longer works as it was devinely designed to do. . . Only AFTER the conscience has healed can a healing of the SPIRIT take place. . . It’s as easy as ASKING in SINCERE PRAYER TO GOD ALMIGHTY, . . and BELIEVING in his UNLIMITED POWER. . . .

      YES, . . EVEN YOU CAN BE HEALED AND SAVED !!! . .
      NO MATTER WHAT HAS HAPPENED IN THE PAST !!!

    This country as a whole has turned it’s back from GOD. America is facing God’s judgment for all the immorality, corruption, slander, wickedness, greed, impure hearts (harden hearts) and the list (transgressions or Sins)goes on. I appreciate Glen’s candor on this matter. The true enemy, Satan (who rules this world) is very clever and is a liar, is deceiving this nation and the world into following him. Satan has orchestrated this mess and is doing everything he can to lead God’s children astray. I realize that many people do not believe in God and many refuse to accept HIM (and HIS SON). That is why GOD gave us FREE WILL to choose,”for the gate is narrow…and the way is hard… that leads to life…and those who find it are few (Matthew 7:14)”. It was described in the OT that the people of God turned their back from GOD and his Commandments. The people complained and moaned for a King to rule over them. Since the people transgressed, GOD allowed their enemies to rule over them! And that my fellow Americans is what’s happening to this nation NOW! The majority of the American people wanted CHANGE. Since this country has become GODLESS, we are going to ruled by the GODLESS! The only hope for this country is to pray every day to GOD and repent of our transgression. Many won’t do this and many still won’t accept God’s love and HIS WAY, but I like many other Americans would like to see this nation under God’s Blessing again before the Last Days (The second coming of JESUS).     I do not disagree with Glen Beck about putting God first. However, I do have to ask why he keeps exploiting the children in the video? He plays it over and over and over and the first times not even blurring out their faces. You can’t blame the children or the President for that.the school was not told to by the President to have the kids sing that. Why don’t find the teacher and interview her as to why she decided to have the kids sing? Why don’t you ask the person who posted it on you tube why they did it? But please STOP using our kids for political gain! Glen Beck is every bit as bad as those he says he’s fighting against!

    Is there anything Obama can do on which the Republicans agree? This is a rethorical question but I will answer anyway: NO???? Because they are idiots/selfish/greedy/war mongers/etc. Wake up and start changing your attitude. Back up your country and your President. With the attitude you have now, nothing will be accomplsihed. Let’s blame me for World War 6. That is what you are doing towards Obama. Obama is not the blame for this economical crisis. The President and especially Bush did. A week after his inaugaration he was blamed for the economical crisis. Within a week or even months an economical crises can not be created. This is a process that takes a lot longer. Oh yeah, look at the DOW index. During Obama it has almost reached 10000 again. The world loves Obama but hates the Republicans. So don’t blame Obama for the United States image.

      Marcel, comrade obama can do two things to redeem himself. First, he can refuse the Nobel Peace Prize. In the last 40 years, that ‘prize’ is no more special than a high school popularity poll. Second, comrade obama can resign and go back to Illinois.
      In answer to your other question, that yahoo, Rangel, seems to be obama’s main cheerleader. He is encouraging little kids and starry-eyed sheep to ‘worship’ comrade obama.
      Let me guess. You can’t see any flaws in comrade obama or his czars or any of his ‘plans.’ You might consider getting on comrade obam’s potential czar list. There are no qualifications, and if Rangel decides to quite cheerleading, you could take his job. I’m sure you could do at least as well as Rangel.

      You should not say things which are not true. Terrorism is not something that came about after 911, there are hundreds of terrorist attacks that have occurred well before 911 by Muslim groups. Sense the creation of Israel there have been hundred if not thousands of attacks or did you sleep through all the hijackings, embassy bombs, and countless other attacks over the past half dozen decades. Read a book why don’t you. You could learn something real from books other than the Democrats for Dummies series.

        Marcel did not say there were no terrorist attacks before 9/11, he said there were no terroist attacks by Muslims in Europe before 9/11. However there was the Pam Am flight that was bombed.
        The Muslims have been fighting with the Jews and Christians forever. When and if there is peace, look out because that is when the end will come. However, the western countries have continually meddeled in the goings on over there in the middle east. If we would leave them alone maybe things would be different.
        What we need to do is come up with another form of energy other than oil, then we can tell them to keep their oil and do what they want over there. If it was not for oil we’d have no real interest in that part of the world. However the oil companies are so good at bribing those that make decissions in this country it’s hard to get alternitive energies started.

      Probably, only a few ‘leaders’ know who their real boss is.       If your reglion comes from your heart how can anyone take it away? When this country was founded our founding fathers decided they would not have a national religion that everyone must belong to. They based their country and laws on Christianity but realized people were different and not everyone agrees with Christianity. Even Christians have different inturpertations of it.
      No one can ever take away what is in your heart. If ou allow them to do that you are not a true Christian.
      However it seems as though folks like Glenn Beck do not want to allow us to have a choice. He seems to think everyone should have the same religion as he has. That doesn’t seem to fit what our founding fathers had in mind. If I choose not to believe in God you have no right to try and make me, just as I have no right to make you not believe. If I choose to pray to buda than that is my right as an American.
      I’m very puzzeled about what has been different since January 20th that is different that it was before? I still go to the job, collect the same pay, live at the same place and live the life I have for many years. You are all saying how your rights and freedoms have been taken away. I wish someone would tell me what rights and freedoms I have lost since January 20, 2009. No one seems to be able to say exactly.
      If people in this country choose to not believe in God I don’t feel it’s the governments fault. Why don’t you ask someone that doesn’t believe why they don’t beleive?

        Cap & Trade is going to be the other single most largest tax on this country. Even if a company is not subject to the cap tax, their utility bills will soar…especially in the midwest which is heavy fossil. They LIED to you about your own utility bills as well. The bible talks about helping the poor, but it also says that people who won’t work shouldn’t eat. Its also talks extensively about sexual sin, something liberals conveniently ignore. Jesus said: “if the world hates you, it’s because they hated me before”. Therefore, I’m not overly concerned if the world hates America. Nor am I concerned if Marcel wants to accuse me of greed. God asks for only 10 percent of my wealth. The goverment on the other hand demands a much greater portion and will throw me in jail if I don’t fork it over. Jesus talks about unconditional love. Marcel loves only those who agree with his world view.

      You really don’t have a clue about what is going on. If you read the poll correctly then I think you would understand. Look at the percentage of people who identified themselves as voting to Obama and then look at the percentage of responses that indicate displeasure with what is going on in various venues. More than just the republicans are voting against what democrats have done (or will do) to this nation. This all began with legislation passed by Bill Clinton’s administration before he left office – a fact undisputable, public record. If you then look at what is proposed you will see that the current administration expects everything that they are doing to have a negative impact on this nation otherwise bills would not wait until after the next presidential election to go into effect. Cap and Trade and Healthcare proposals don’t start to have a negative impact until after the next election at which time they will bring this country to its knees if allowed to pass into law.

        You also have to remember, things that were passed in the last years of the Clinton admiastration were passed by a Republican Congress.     To me, Beck is close enough. I don’t get to see or hear much of him. I find it almost amusing that anyone can view Beck and Limbaugh or any other non-ultralib as liars and racists or whatever the favorite word of the day is.
    Two things America lacks are common sense and standards for those in power. Little or no common sense and no standards for politicians made it possible for us to be stuck with people like Rangel and comrade obama.
    If Rangel really thinks comrade obama is capable of doing anything he claims, then Rangel needs to consider retirement. That slow leak in his head is getting louder, and I doubt very much if his first-class health insurance will be able to fix it.

    In fact, the latter sermon, King’s last public words, ends with the first lyrics of the Battle Hymn, “Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord.”
    Explain to me how liberals can use King, who espoused faith and trust in God, as an icon of their agenda of progressive change which includes the removal of God from our society.

As most here have made that day Sunday, the 1st day of the week on God’s calander. “Narrow is the path and restricted the way that leads to life everlasting, and ‘few’ are they that will find it.”

        I’m sorry but Saturday is not the day that Christ rose from the dead. It was on the First day of the week, not the last. You should read the books of Galatians and Colossians. The Christian day of worship is on Sunday. Period! The only commandment that is not found in the New Testament from the 10 is the one you say we should still observe. Read Galatians and Colossians, the Old Law of Moses was nailed to the cross, if you’re going to keep one part of the Law of Moses, you’d better keep it all, otherwise you will be guilty of all.
