I think there’s really good intent in what some are trying to say, and so, with the same good intent, I should point out a few things:

Firstly – Thanks J.R. I share your sentiments exactly.

There’s no such thing as “good bacteria in the stomach”. That’s marketing hype. Bacteria is bacteria. No good, no bad. And nothing can live inside the stomach. In the asophagus – yes. In the bowl – yes. But not IN the stomach. It’s just not possible. I had health issues a while back, and researched the subject extensivly.

That being said – Yes, Colloidal Silver is a GREAT bacteria killer. In fact, it’s great to combat any single cell organism. So If you have bacteria, fungi, warts, viruses, then give it a try.

I’ve taken Colloidal Silver for a number of years now on a semi-regular basis, and I can honestly say that I’m not blue (some try to claim that Colloidal Silver will turn your skin blue). Only very poor quality colloidal silver that is made with salt, AND if used for an extensive period of time may do that. I’m in great health, and I’ve used it as eye drops, wart removal, getting over the common cold, treating cuts and even when I’ve felt run down. Most of the time, I’ve sipped a cap-full and held it in my mouth for a minute, and then swalled it. I’ve used it in a whole heap if different ways – including spraying it on raw food to preserve it outside of the fridge/freezer (a 2 day experiment that had great results). That being said, so called “Colloidal Silver” (a misnomer since the product is not a colloid, at all) works well and certainly won’t hurt anything. It creates no reaction when used along with modern medicine and is available from most larger health food outlets. The virus-killing and antibacterial qualities of silver were known as far back as biblical times, if not before. When used on “Diaper Rash” on an infant it’s almost magical in its results.

Used as a topical treatment it has no drawbacks. It cannot be overused, nor can any harm at all ensue from use, other than staining of clothing. Such a stain cannot be removed by any process I’m aware of.

If taken internally caution MUST be used, since it kills any and all bacteria known to mankind, including the “good bacteria” in the stomach which is responsible for digesting our food. You certainly don’t want that to happen since the result is painful, to say the least.

Read up on it. There’s a lot of information available online, including many claims which you might want to take with a grain of salt (like curing cancer). While it’s certainly not a “be-ll/end-all” it can be highly beneficial when used intelligently, and you can even make your own at home if you’re tech-savvy…

Hello –I was reading your article on Colloial Silver and wonder if it,s the same product my dentist told me about.It,s called the ”Silver Solution” He told me it was a holistic product and would keep a Staphe Infection from returning. I had one from a head wound I had and when it didn,t heal after 3 monthes I went to a wound clinic and they cleaned it out and gave me ”gentamicin sulfate ointment ” to put on it . Now I,m wondering if this product would help it REALLY heal?
