Well said! Too bad government employees don’t understand basic economics. Too bad government employees don’t understand that they do not pay taxes or social security…. you say what? They work, earn their pay, pay taxes just like everyone else.. Well not so fast, the deductions from their checks just reduces the amount of tax revenue they take for their pay. Deductions for social security just moves tax revenue from one pot to another.

Government employees never contribute to the tax revenue pot, they only take their pay from that pot. As government grows two thing happen, expense goes up and tax revenue goes down.

Government has always admonished everyone for credit card debt yet they set the example and try to tell us…”DO WHAT WE SAY, NOT WHAT WE DO!”

Basic economics dictates that you cannot spend your way out of debt.
Basic economics dictates that creating government jobs cannot stimulate the economy.
Basic economics dictates that govenment spending depletes the economy.
Basic economics dictates that stimulating (tax credits) small business creates jobs that pay taxes, more revenue for the government to spend.. the reverse of what government does… go figure????

Common Sense does exist in the mind of Fred Thompson, and hopefully all who watch his Video about our “new” economy today. Fasten you seat belts citizens the train is going to push the Obama bus off the cliff. Will you be on it, or did you get off at the last bus stop?
